((OMG! Did he ask you out? >;D ))
Silvana rolled over when Zadist returned to the bed, nestling up against him with a sigh. After doing things with him, she always wanted to cuddle. Thankfully, the male vampire seemed to like to do the same, curling up with her on the bed despite the fact he probably would not be able to sleep for a while... She would stay up with him longer, to continue to distract him from the movement of the aircraft. But fatigue weighed heavily on her--she'd been satisfied no less than three times, so she was feeling more than a little spent. "I love you," she murmured again, quietly, before succumbing to sleep. |
(No...he wanted me to go to another party....) [/center]"Love you. too..." Zadist mummered, toying with Silvana's hair for a bit. Finally, he sighed and snuggled a bit closer, shoving his thoughts and worries away for now. The vampire allowed himself to fall asleep then. (Naw, I hadn't seen. sorry...v.v) |
The two of them must have been exhausted, because they slept for the majority of the flight, with only a couple hours remainder. Silvana dressed herself, putting on the undergarment and floral-patterned dress once again. Having left Jessica, the slave, bored and unsure of what to do with herself on her own, the girl hovered around them for the rest of the time asking if she could do this or that... Silvana pretty much shook her head repeatedly, not really having anything except a sip of Dr. Pepper now and then. It seemed that they were capable of watching a movie, however. Like with most international trips, the plane had been given a selection to view... And Silvana was intent on watching another Disney movie that they had--Sleeping Beauty. Though at the forest scene, around the "Once Upon A Dream" number, she started laughing really hard... As though she could scarcely believe that she was a vampire, watching this film. And worse, making the oldest male in existence watch it, too. In fact, she got so amused that she sang along.
When the movie ended, it was practically time to land (to Zadist's obvious relief). So Silvana strapped herself in, and sought the other vampire's hand to pat reassuringly, since the rocking of the plane increased as they descended down through the cloud cover over Florence, Italy. Even though he paled further, the girl bounced in her chair, so excited to be finally landing in Italy again after three years, that she could barely contain herself. She was suddenly hyper, though a tad disappointed they'd landed there just as night settled into the area. Good for Zadist, bad for her. She would have to wait to see the Italian scenery for a bit longer. Still, at least the old architecture would be lit up beautiful, even in the evening. |
Once the plane had finally landed, Zadist opened the eyes he'd been squishing shut, and almost ran from the plane. On solid ground he wavered a bit, locating a bench and collapsing unto it. Silvana would be fine. She hadn't seem to mind the plane and she was understanding enough. The slave, that Zadist couldn't get out of his mind as Dove, pulled their suitcase, waiting patiently by the door. "I hope your trip was pleasant enough, Miss. Please don't hesitate to call on me anytime!" She paused, looking sheepish, even flushing slightly, "A-and thank you...for my name...I...like it..." |
Silvana giggled into her hand as Zadist tore out of the aircraft. She would join him momentarily. The girl took the suitcase from the female slave, Jessica, and beamed in a friendly manner. "Yes, it was a lovely flight. Thank you so much for all your help." Silvana reached out and gently clapped Jessica on the shoulder with a nod. "I'm glad you like your name. It means 'God's gift', or so I've heard. Even if you have to go by the names that vampires give you while working... If you go anywhere else, like, to Starbucks... You can use that name. At least... In the regular human world, outside." Silvana looked nervous for a second, rubbing the back of her neck and sighing. "I'm sorry if I was confusing, I only became a vampire two days ago. Not used to it, yet. Uhm, have a nice life, Jess! Bye!" With that, and the suitcase in tow, Silvana stumbled from the plane outside.
She located Zadist easily enough, setting the suitcase down and resting her hands on his shoulders as he sat. Even then he was almost as tall as she was, causing her to giggle. The changed female vampire leaned forward to give Zadist a gentle peck on the lips, then pulled back with a grin. "Happy to be on solid ground now? Welcome to Tuscany! This is where my father is from." Silvana grinned broadly, then seated herself on the bench beside the other vampire. She'd give him a moment to recover before dragging him along, as excited and energetic as she was to be in her favorite country known to man. |
The slave beamed, and didn't bother to explain she didn't get to go into the outside world. It didn't really matter, because when no one was around, she could whisper her name, and know she wasn't just a toy or replacement for someone else. Zadist smiled and nodded. After about fifteen minutes, he stood, reaching over and gripping the suitcase. "Let's go, laska. What would you like to do first?" |
Silvana nodded and stood up, smoothing down her dress. She glanced off into the distance for a moment, knowing that the area around the airport was not very interesting and not a great representation of the rest of the city. But Florence itself was gorgeous and old. She vaguely wondered if Zadist had ever been here before... Before now, of course. But what did she want to do? Well, she supposed that, first things first, the two of them would have to get permission from Viseh to use his house while they searched for one of their own. His house could be anywhere in Tuscany, so they might have to drive for a while. Either they got someone to take them, or Zadist would have to rent a car. Not that he knew where anything was. So, she opted to ask the vampire first.
"Well, that depends. Have you been here before, and know your way around Tuscano? Or is this a first? We need to call Viseh, ask if we can use his house, then find a way to get there. We can hire someone to drive us, take a train, or drive ourselves. So... I guess it's more dependent on you and what you're up for. I'm happy just being here." To demonstrate the point, Silvana bounced up and down three times, clutching her hands to her chest and grinning. |
Zadist snorted. "Of course I know my way around, though if has probably changed a bit in seventy five years or so. And I'll drive us, or course. When we get outside, I'll be calling Viseh, and have one of his cars brought here. I meant what else?" |
Silvana chewed on her lower lip lightly, so as not to break her own skin, and then averted her gaze for a moment. What did she want to do? What was even open right now? As a human she would be screaming for pizza and gelato, but as a vampire? She had plenty of blood, between Zadist and the girl from the night before, so she was not exactly starving as of yet. "I don't know," she admitted. "I thought we'd just head off to the house. I can go buy stuff and wander around the streets with my jaw hanging open later...It's night time. Is there anything you particularly wanted to do, Z?" The girl moved to the vampire, curling her hands around his arm and smiling.
|
Zadist shrugged. "I'll have some work Cynn asked me to do in a few days. Other than that, I've spent a lot of time here back in the day...I'm good. Think on it, okay?" He moved off a bit, raising his cell phone. Suprisingly enough, the road outside the airport was still teeming with life. Even more suprisingly, vampires seemed to be in abundance here as well, and were easy to spot. Many actually seemed to be tourists, taking pictures. Occasionally, someone would spot Zadist's white hair, and point and stare. Even a few born children tried to race across the street towards him, to be scooped up by their mothers. |
Silvana listened to Zadist's words, nodding slowly in understanding. Work to do for Cynn? What sort of work did the vampire mean, she wondered? Knocking off a few people for her? Espionage? Business? Was it exciting or boring? She thought about asking, but decided not to. If he had not volunteered the information right off, either it was not important or he just did not want to talk about it. "I'll think about it. There's some things I want to start doing, to gain myself a reputation." Silvana started to snicker with a secretive smile.
Once again, she was surprised by the abundance of vampires even here. People that ordinarily she would not have thought of seemed... Well, to be everywhere. Silvana almost wondered how she hadn't spotted them before, when she was human. Perhaps vampires were simply good at hiding in plain sight. But truly, she picked up on them with no problem, merely from their scents alone. However, their appearances were certainly anything but regular, so the girl was puzzled enough over it. Of course, none of them had white hair like Zadist. Either it was bizarre, or they recognized him from it, because they kept pointing and whispering amongst themselves. Could Zadist really be a celebrity even this far on the other side of the planet? Silvana leaned in confidentially. "Z, why is everyone looking at you? Just your hair? It's weird." |
Zadist glanced at her quickly, wrapping up his phone conversation, though it seemed he'd argued with Viseh in Japanese for a while. When he hung up, he frowned at her. "What reputation? What are you thinking, laska?" He glanced at a passing group of gawking born vampire tourists and scowled, sending them moving quickly down the streets. The young male who'd been lifting a camera dropped it right away. Zadist took Silvana's arm, tugging her towards the building, standing close to a group of humans, though he spoke so they couldn't hear. "I've done a lot of bad, to humans. But, most vampires never see one of their fighters. The vampires who are fighting the mades who have lost control, or have been swayed by Melody... My family is from Europe, remember? If Phayte was next to me, it would be worse." He glared behind her once more, stopping a woman who'd been approaching in her tracks. "Just...if anyone asks for a picture, tell them no, alright? With the airport here, Tuscany is the first stop for tourists..." |
"Nothing major," Silvana said with a giggle. "I'm not sure yet. Mostly a signature appearance." She had noticed Zadist arguing in Japanese with Viseh, and so she tilted her head to the side. "What were you and Viseh on about? I only know some simple phrases like 'Nan desu ka?' and 'Chiizu o tabemasu'." Silvana started to laugh at herself again. At this rate, her reputation would be as the weirdest, non-vampire-like vampire in existence.
"Yeah, Florence is overflowing with tourists especially," Silvana admitted with a shrug. She wondered if her presence, as a made vampire, with Zadist (as well as obviously carrying his marking, and he hers) would cause any upset among the born vampire crowds. Would word of her spread too, alerting their enemies even in this portion of the world? "I won't let them," she said, "But will they start talking about me, you know..." The girl appeared flustered for a moment, searching for words. "...Being with you, I guess?" It seemed that no matter where she and Zadist traveled to, someone would know who he was and attempt to approach him, or her for that matter. "I hope that Viseh's house is in the countryside or a small village... Because all the attention might be detrimental to our... Trying to lay low, know what I mean?" |
"A..signature appearance?" Zadist echoed, before frowning. "Maybe...maybe we should wait for a bit, to enter the vampire scene thing, okay, laska? And it's nothing." Zadist glanced at the phone with a glare. "He was thinking of just taking Lucy away from Phriyte. God dammit, no!" The last was bellowed, making many heads turn their way, and the two vampires who'd been approaching bolting down the street. "And it's not." Zadist frowned. "I hadn't really thought of that. It's normally easy for me to ignore them...yeah, we'll have to figure this out a bit..." The vampire rubbed his head, shaking it slightly. "Anyway, the limo will be here in about a half hour. So and hour or two. Do you need anything?" |
Oh, this vampire. Silvana had not meant anything more serious than her clothing. So she merely blinked at him with her indigo orbs and then frowned. "When I meant by 'signature appearance' was just thinking about wearing only bright colored retro clothing, and then putting purple-pink streaks in my hair...Maybe teal," Silvana explained, shaking her head and smirking. Really, she could just see it--a fifties dress with a skirt that buffed out, a bright neon yellow, and shocks of color through her dark hair.
And then, of course, a clashing, bright color of Mary Jane heels or boots. Either a bow or a hairclip, and a funky beaded necklace with matching bracelets. That way, if Melody ever came a-calling, Silvana would be popular amongst the vampire crowd of Italy... As a daring fashionista! Maybe she would have to relocate to Milan eventually. Zadist, earlier in their relationship, had referred to her as the "color in his world". And no doubt she would continue to be that way, in the dreary society of vampires, even among their number! Silvana snapped back to reality at the mention of Lucy being whisked off by Viseh and away from Phriyte. It was a silent reminder she had to call both of their friends, so that she could give them advice without having the urge to bite them. Considering they were still romantically involved with vampires, of course. She wondered how Lucy would do, taken by Viseh, who clearly desired her beyond reason. "Is he going to take her back with him to Japan?" she questioned. "Are they going to get married under the moonlight while she wears a kimono?" Actually, that didn't sound too shabby. Silvana didn't feel comfortable riding in a limo. Actually, she'd never considered them particularly attractive, even for rich people. But it was a popular method of transportation for the wealthy, despite her sentiments. Hadn't Zadist wanted to drive himself? Oh, well. "I dunno," Silvana said with a shrug. "Do vampires need to brush their teeth? If so, I need a brush and toothpaste. A hairbrush would be good, too, probably. Unless Viseh has all those things back at the house?" |
The vampire snorted and raised his eyebrow at her. "Vampires rarely marry." He reminded her, "Our marks are much stronger than that. and I doubt Lucy would let Viseh mark her. And...Viseh...he tends to change his mind. He seems obsessed with her, but I dunno. I still think Phriyte would be better. But...I'm also biased..." He smiled, referring to Phriyte being his favorite cousin. He paused, tensing as a limo stopped. It was, however, far too early for theirs to be here. The male sighed and relaxed as someone else folded themselves inside. "He probably has spares...And I doubt we have to, Most of us do so out of habit, however. If you want your own, we can go inside. I'm sure they have a store for it...' |
Silvana eyed Zadist with obvious confusion. Viseh changed his mind a lot? What did that mean? Silvana was horrified by the idea of Lucy being carried off by a vampire that would wake up one day and not care about her anymore. If that was the case, she would also prefer Lucy with Phriyte, simply because he was a nice person (seemingly), and also a member of Zadist's family. Closer to home. Lucy all the way in Japan, and with the Yakuza? It would be stressful for everyone, but especially if her heart was broken as a result. "Oh, no," Silvana murmured, her eyes wide. "I don't want Viseh not to like Lucy anymore. Do you know how horrible that would be for her, if she chose him over Phriyte only for him to..." She lowered her gaze to the floor, shaking her head. She would really have to talk to Lucy about this before anything drastic happened. Warn her.
"I would like my own," Silvana admitted after a moment, watching more tourists moving by and chattering to each other about Zadist evidently. Honestly, no one could keep their attention off him even for a moment, as soon as he was noticed! It was very bizarre. "After all, we have some time to kill and maybe we'll have less nosy people pestering us in the store, right?" She held her hand out to the male vampire expectantly. The habit of holding his hand had not vanished with her changing--she still craved Zadist's touch, after all. |
Zadist nodded after a few moments, reaching over to take Silvana's hand, though he glanced around nervously. He tugged her inside quickly. Inside, after walking almost the whole airport, a little shop was found, carrying all neccesities for trips. He continued talking as they moved, "I'm not saying he will. I, after all, never thought I'd be tying myself to one woman again...Viseh is basically the same...except with slaves. A...lot..." He contemplated for a moment. "I believe he, at last count, had over seventy five." He glanced at Silvana, then away, "He likes...a lot of women in his bed, if you see what I mean. I just don't know if he truly wants Lucy or if he is just viewing this as a competition between him and Phriyte.." |
The moment they arrived at the shop, Silvana moved off immediately to find her necessary items--she chose a purple toothbrush and some paste. They were Italian brands so she didn't know if the paste would taste abhorrent, but it was worth a try. She grabbed up a hairbrush, too, for good measure. Was there anything else she needed? Silvana looked, but didn't see any hair dye, particularly for colored streaks. She hadn't expected it. So she'd have to find that somewhere else. It would be amusing to do that to herself while Zadist was off somewhere, and then come back to her looking even more like the Silvana that was on her inside--just supremely colorful.
Silvana snorted. "So basically, he has a harem, you're saying." A human sex slave harem. Wow. If anything could be said about the Japanese vampire, he was probably very experienced in bed, to a ridiculous point. But somehow, Silvana had not though of him obsessing over Lucy in that way. Sure, he had advertised sleeping together in Silvana's presence. But otherwise, his focus seemed to be on Lucy the girl. "I dunno. Is it normal for him to called people 'so and so' the Wonderful, 'so and so' the Beautiful? Lucy told me he essentially compliments her every two seconds. I have no idea what Viseh's personality is like, so I can't determine what it is he's feeling. Truthfully, I'd be more comfortable with her being with Phriyte, too. But you know, it may not work out that way... I can at least say that, he didn't seem to be paying much attention to the competition between them when I saw it. He was just doting on her, mostly, and Phriyte was inconveniently in the way enough for him to want to fight him." |
Zadist refused to look at her once more. "It's a common enough thing!" He finally said, almost defensively. "Many high up vampires have them!" He continued a bit quieter, "And, no, I've never heard him call anyone wonderful or beautiful." Zadist fell silent, shoving his hands into his pockets. "I dunno. Maybe it's the real thing. It's just so unlike him." He gave a slight shrug, before pretending to be obsessed over feminine hygeine wipes and speaking quieter. "And a harem is a sign of your power, as well. It shows the world you are able to please yourself however you wish, and posess the means to take care of that many slaves..." |
"I'm not judging," Silvana said. "Though that sort of thing is... Mmm... Long since dead in my world. It's not considered respectful to women. That makes me wonder. Do female vampires have harems, but of male slaves?" If the same thing was possible for female vampires, it hardly mattered to her who had harems or not. As long as it was a two-way street, not a one. And, so that Zadist wouldn't get confused about her motivation, she added quickly, "I'm just curious, don't get the wrong idea." While it was fun to think about having a harem of men at your every beck and call, Silvana still desired only one person. That person was standing beside her, and no one else would satisfy that need. Honestly, she did not want anyone else to satisfy the need, either.
"Well, let me see," Silvana said, leaning up against a shelf that seemed stable enough to support her weight. She'd guessed correctly--it did not wobble. "What is his personality like, then? Is he normally really cheerful? Because around Lucy, he was more or less flamboyant." She thought back to the way he'd just slung her over his shoulder, and then how he'd spoken to the girl while in the room with her and Silvana. And Lucy told her how he'd carried her up the stairs princess-style while he praised her, essentially prancing. Everything that came out of Viseh's mouth towards Lucy seemed.. Well, really sweet. |
The male quenched the urge to glare at Silvana. He couldn't exactly tell her not to have a harem, now could he? "Yes, females do have harems. And it's your choice whether or not to take them...My mother got rid of hers when she took my father as a mate. Cynn, however, is growing hers." "That depends, for Viseh." Zadist continued softly. "I've rarely seen him outside of work. And when he is working, he's as cold and heartless as I have to be. He's much crueler, however, and it takes much less for him to take a head. Maybe it would change with Lucy. I doubt he'd give up the harem, however." |
"I don't want a harem," Silvana said simply. "I only want you." She perused some more items, like make-up. There were some bright eyeshadow choices... Lip gloss. Overall, she did not need foundation or anything anymore. Her skin had improved thanks to the change. But, if she still wanted to have colors to match her clothing, she would need some of these. The girl went and got a basket from the side of the door, plopping the items into it so she would have less to carry in her hands and more room. She would not go crazy, however. There would assuredly be better shops for these sort of things in town, whenever they got to explore it. And, most likely, in the daytime. She could wander in the daytime, right? Right.
"If he doesn't give up the harem, he has no chance," Silvana said. "Lucy is a one-man woman, and she'd expect hers to be the same. So, I'd say that Phriyte has already won, in at least that aspect." She eyed Zadist with a chuckle. "Unless he has a harem, too?" How would she know? And, she'd only met and conversed with Phriyte once. She did not know his personality well, either, except that he had been nice to her for Zadist's sake. But his treatment of women? Unknown. She could not accurately judge. |
Zadist followed her, watching as various items were placed into the basket. After a moment, he took the basket from her gently and coughed nervously. "Y-yeah, he does. Even Lye has a harem, though he has never touched a female, to my knowledge." Zadist was silent for a few moments, peering inside the basket, "Actually, every warrior I know has a harem. I doubt either male would give them up, however, if Lucy wished it, I think Phriyte would refrain from using them. Viseh I don't know about." |
Silvana grinned when Zadist took the basket from her. Was he being helpful and carrying it, or was that his way of saying she was getting too much stuff? Either way, she had finished picking up items...He had nothing to worry about. The nervous cough was cute, though. Didn't he like hearing her say she wanted only him? Silvana stood on her tip-toes for a moment, pressing a kiss gently to the vampire male's cheek. She smiled brightly, saying, "Ti amo. And I have everything I need now, if you want to pay and then get out of here. We'll have to think of something else to do, to kill time. But I don't know what's open at this hour. I was a 'normal' girl the last time I was Italy."
"We'll have to see what happens," Silvana said with a heavy sigh. "I'm not worried about Marie and Lye at all. She's a nice person, and he was, too, to my knowledge." The girl paused. He did not drink blood from humans, only from bags and donors. That made him instantly a vampire saint, to Silvana. And her inspiration. She would do the same herself, and drink bagged blood, to avoid having to potentially hurt anyone. Now, fighting was a different story. She would learn to hold her own against other vampires, whether Zadist wanted her to or not. "I'll call Lucy soon. Maybe tomorrow. I have a feeling she'll need advice about this stuff, and I want news on it now and then. I worry about my friends, as you know." |
