Zadist had moved next to her, sitting and placing himself in her lap, stretching out and yawning a bit. "I see. I'll have to leave after you fall asleep, if I'll make it home before sunrise." He didn't seem particularly interested in the movie, instead placing her bowl on his stomach, so he could still see her face.

"You should go to bed, now, then. You have a long night ahead of you tomorrow, laska. Would you like me to carry you?"

(( LOL, Hi, Kitteh! XD ))

Silvana was quite amused at how quickly the vampire familiarized himself with her. It did seem, almost, like she was his pet, that he could touch and hold whenever he felt like it. But in a way (she thought back to the catlike purring), he was also her pet. The mean, evil vampire... Was like her giant kitty cat! Ahhh, how the tables had turned since earlier. She was not so exhausted as to necessitate being carried back up the stairs. However, lazy... That was was another matter entirely. Besides which, picking her up seemed akin to carrying a feather for Zadist. He was so strong that did not bat an eyelid to moving her on and off of his lap, into his arms, or climbing up the sides of buildings.

Silvana finished her ramen, placing it aside. She wanted to watch the movie a bit longer, and spend more time in the man's company. So she thought she would ask him more questions, to prolong the evening just a bit. "What does 'laska' mean? And why do I have a long night tomorrow?"

Kisu 06-23-2010 09:24 AM

"It's a suprise." Zadist answered smoothly, watching her move the bowl away through half closed orbs. After a moment, he glanced away. "It's, uh, a pet name. Means love...." He reached up lazily, tugging her hand down and burying it in his hair, hinting for her to play with it and rub it some more. Just the thought send Zadist's into a purring frenzy.

"Silvana...why aren't you upset with me? For what I do to your kind? And for not remaining faithful to you? Why are you alright with it? You're so strange. I want to understand you." He hesitated. "I think I would change, for you. If I could. But I doubt I can."

ContessaLeandra 06-23-2010 09:33 AM

Silvana was more than happy to comply. She did not have any pets, but she liked to touch animals' fur. Once she had a dog, that they had to give away because her mother developed allergies to it. It happened a long time ago, when she was a little girl. The dog had been a Bichon Frise, named Mimi. She remembered how much she had cried when they were driving her to the pound. Silvana stroked her fingers through the man's hair, brushing it back gently from his forehead. Really, she was envious of how smooth he kept it. Even with extra strength conditioner and a leave-in treatment, Silvana's naturally wavy hair was prone to frizz. It was difficult to tell, when it was straight, but air-dried out of the shower? Disastrous. She continued to 'massage his scalp' in a way, as he asked her why she was not bothered by his actions.

"I am upset," she said, "Inside. It frightens me. When I think about what you were going to do to Lucy, and what you almost did to me... And those scary urges you get that you have to satisfy that always end in someone dying... It makes me sad. But... You are what you are, right? How can I be angry about it? Vampires, I think, do what they must to survive, like everyone else." Silvana shrugged her shoulders. "Besides, we've only just met. I don't know you well enough to demand you to be faithful to me. That would be really clingy and weird. But, I am jealous. Yeah." She blushed a little.

Kisu 06-23-2010 09:39 AM

Her answer was met with silence, other than the purring. Finally, Zadist sat up slightly, kissing her gently. "I shouldn't have marked you. You still don't understand what it means fully. Silvana...I'm yours as much as you are mine. This is way more than simple 'dating', or marriage, even. We are bonded. By blood. If you wish me to stop, then I'll try. Just please don't fault me for my weaknesses."

Zadist hesitated visably before continuing. "Long, long ago, my first hundred years, I was completely different. I...was an advocate for made vampires, kind to humans. Even lived among them and helped them. I can try to do that again, if you'd like. But it's been a long time...It is my duty to please you and give you what you wish. You can ask anything of me, and I will give my life, if it takes that, to please you. You say we just met." He gave a tiny shrug, "That doesn't matter. I marked you for a reason, knowing what it may mean for me."

ContessaLeandra 06-23-2010 09:46 AM

Silvana turned completely scarlet at his words. Oh, wow. Now THAT was commitment! That was not something that she would have heard from a human boy anytime soon in a relationship! Not only did Zadist know what he wanted, from her, he was perfectly willing to do as she pleased as well. But he had told her, earlier, that he would not change for her? Why the sudden decision to do whatever she desired of him to do, even if it meant giving his life and his indulgent life style? There was a vast, she believed, very vast difference of experience between them. 'Long, long ago', his 'first hundred years'? Just how old was Zadist, anyway? She did not think that she wanted to know just yet, for fear of what it might entail. Silvana, adult by human standards, was still simply a child in the vampire's eyes. A very young, very naive child.

"I don't want you to change, for me," she mumbled, angling her gaze away from the vampire male in flustered fashion. "Not if it means you could be risking yourself. Do what you need to, that's all. I can ask more of you later, if... If it starts to bother me a lot. I guess if you can cut back a bit, that would be nice. But not if it will hurt you in the end. Okay?"

Kisu 06-23-2010 09:50 AM

"Cut back..." Zadist nodded, grinning broadly and rolling from her lap. "Then I shall." Stalking to the tv, he switched it off and moved back to her. "Bed, laska. Bid day and you have tornado school." Without waiting for her response, the male hefted her into his arms, moving up the staircase.

As he moved, he removed the paper from the walls, piling it on top of Silvana with a chuckle. "Afraid I'd get lost?" He muttered quietly, plopping her slender form unto her bed."

ContessaLeandra 06-23-2010 09:57 AM

Silvana squeaked again, as she was scooped up princess-style into the vampire's arms. She wanted to ask him why he was so nice to her, after so many years of hating every stupid human's guts. But it would have to wait. If he comes back, her mind chided. This time, though, she ignored it. He had to come back, even if he had to keep her a secret from his brother Phayte and the rest of his family! Why would he have bothered to do all this, hurry back to her... Give her his phone number. Unless he stayed with her, it did not make sense at all. "You remembered!" she cried gleefully, wrapping her arms around his neck and clinging tightly to him. "Tornado school! Isn't that exciting? Storm chasing? Yeah? Yeaaah?" And why was she so hyper at this hour? Well, Silvana liked attention. And she was getting lots of it.

She snorted again as he removed the taped signs from the wall, and ultimately, places in her room....Until he ceremoniously dropped her onto her soft bed. She yawned against the back of her head, sinking back into the pillows and giggling at him. "I hope you liked the signs," she said. "I love thinking of things like that. I will never bore you, I hope you know! Well, I'll try not to, anyway..."

Kisu 06-23-2010 10:00 AM

Zadist glanced at the stack of papers in his arms, lifting an unbelieving gaze to Silvana. "I doubt you'll even bore me, laska." The papers were dropped in her trashcan, before the vampire dove into bed, curling next to her, sighing softly. "How I iwhs you were not tired right now...Sleep, laska...I...enjoyed my first night with you...I hope you did...somewhat."

(Caught a newish stalker...)

ContessaLeandra 06-23-2010 10:07 AM

Silvana rolled over, throwing an arm over the vampire and nestling up to his chest. She wondered if vampires had heartbeats... She tried to listen for one. Well, she was enjoying the night now. At first, it was extremely scary. Then, it was very painful. Then it felt really, really amazingly good... (*cough*) Afterwards it got weird, and now... Sort of unbelievable. And she had a hard time thinking that...It might continue to be like this. Somewhat awkward, but at the same time... Lovely. Interesting. Exciting. New. And it would be a wonderful diversion for her until she attained a degree that allowed her to become a storm chaser... Despite that her mathematics skills were sub-par at best.

"Of course I enjoyed tonight! First you were really scary, but then you made me feel really good...." Silvana smirked, hoping the vampire understood what she was referring to. "...And now you are very nice to me, and I don't understand it... But I like it too. And I hope that you will come back tonight like you say you will, and not leave me like your brother wants you to..." She fell quiet, allowing the silence to hang in the air for a moment. "Zadist, are you good at math?"

Kisu 06-23-2010 10:09 AM

Sadly, however, there was no heartbeat.

The vampire had listened for a moment, before coughing and glancing away, his eyes wide. "You certainly blurt out whatever is in your mind, don't you?" He growled softly, playfully, nuzzling her. "Could make you feel even better now...no pain at all." He hinted, smirking. "And..what? good at math? Yes....why? And I told you not to worry about Phayte. He doesn't want me to leave you...he's just unhappy,. and afraid I'll end up hurt again."

ContessaLeandra 06-23-2010 10:17 AM

Zadist could not see it, but Silvana was bright red from his comment. Was he flirting with her? It sounded tempting, yes... (Though she was appalled at herself for admitting that it did.) But she really did need to sleep to be able to wake up and take the bus to school... And actually remain conscious through her Atmospheric Science, Physics, and Mathematics classes. What Zadist said about Phayte and... Getting hurt again... It caused the girl to wait to answer. There were really a lot of things that had happened in Zadist's past that she did not know or could hope to know... Unless someday she was brave enough to ask about them. Which she was not, right now. Maybe in a month or so, when he trusted her not to... Break his heart? Did vampires' hearts ever break? Well, evidently they had feelings, so most certainly they did.

"As tempting as that sounds," Silvana murmured with a shy giggle, "And it does, believe me... I do need to eventually sleep if I am ever going to get up. I'm terrible at waking up in the morning. I even ignore alarm clocks. First it has to go off, half an hour before I need to get up and get dressed. Then my mom comes and knocks on the door, to rouse me some more..." Silvana took a deep breath before continuing, "And then finally, when I don't get up, she comes in and squirts me in the face with a spray bottle of water. THAT wakes me up." The girl slid her arms around the vampires waist, so she was pressed up against him as tightly as was physically possible. "And... Because I suck at math. Want to tutor me? Otherwise I might fail my Calculus class."

Kisu 06-23-2010 05:52 PM

The vampire chuckled, nuzzling Silvana while purring. "Yes, laska. I'll tutor you if you wish that. "And if you'd like, I'll destroy all the spray bottles in this city?" Zadist wiggled from her grip, gently pressing her arms to her sides.

After a moment, he caressed her cheek gently, bending over the bed to kiss her. "You surprise me, so much. I think I like that. I need to go. To be back before sunrise...I would stay...if I could. I'll see you tonight, alright?"

(Holy shit!!!! Now I have sound and watched that video!!!! IT's the shit!!!!! Yes! Gotta see the movie!
The way they move!
And sing!
And that woman is so beautiful!

((Isn't it great?! XD Devdas = awesome. I own it. I have other Bollywood YouTube videos that are also fantastic if you want to see. Just ask. X3 *is good at addicting people to weird stuff* ))

Silvana would have protested the fact that the man was leaving her. But well, lying in the darkness in bed reminded her of just how exhausted she was. And so she started to doze off, and was unable to argue when the man moved her arms away and told her he would be back later. At least he had offered to tutor her in Math, right? Except she shuddered to think what compensation she would have to give him for his...Services. Also, it would be embarrassing if he tried to explain to her and she didn't understand. Silvana did not want Zadist to think she was stupid.

"Okay," she murmured. "See you..." And she rolled over, snuggling into her pillow. Saying goodbye may also have been a dream. She was unsure... At least, until her odd dreams began again, involving Big Bird playing pool with the Great Pumpkin from Charlie Brown while she carried around a tray of lemonade.

Kisu 06-23-2010 08:00 PM

(Yup, yup, course I wanna see. I'd prefer a pm, though, so I can keep it for a while...Love her dreams, hehe! If you wanna time skip, that's cool.)

Zadist had qatched her for a moment, frowning. This was going to be complicated. Sure enough, on the car ride home, his mother called, making him flinch and hide the tiny object inside his glove compartment, as if that would help.

Phayte filled him in when he got home, before Zadist climbed into his bed, his brother chilling on his couch. What to do about Silvana...? He'd already given his word ro see her tonight. Perhaps he would talk with her over dinner...

ContessaLeandra 06-23-2010 08:15 PM

The next day passed without much consequence. Sure enough her mother had been surprised to see her at the breakfast table, but she had taken Zadist's advice. Silvana told her mother that Marie snored, and that she was unable to sleep. And so she had woken her up long enough to tell her she was going home, and called a taxi. She was not about to walk home in the dark with rapists and serial killers on the loose. (Irony.) After a couple of banana pancakes drenched in maple syrup, she took the local bus to her university campus, and made it through her first two classes without passing out. She was incredibly exhausted from sleep-deprivation, even if she had managed to scrape five hours from the time she slept at the vampire's house, and then a couple more at her own. It was lunchtime, though, when she had to pull out the alien abduction story for both Lucy and Marie.

"No, what really happened," Marie said, "Lucy almost died last night and you were nowhere to be found!" Lucy flushed, waving her hand to dismiss the idea. "No, when I woke up, the guy was gone. I think he was just playing pranks on people with those fake fangs and contacts. Too bad, cuz he was really hot." Silvana's mind shouted. ACTUALLY, HE'S A VAMPIRE, AND I TAPPED THAT. But her mouth said, "Sounds more exciting than going home and watching Devdas... Maybe I should have stuck around." The two other girls cried out, glaring at her. "You mean you ditched us?!" Silvana shrugged. "Hey, you guys forced me to go there anyway. Unless it's a Jedi Rave, I am sooo not interested!"

After another two classes, Silvana caught the bus home. She chatted with her mother as she made dinner--four cheese lasagna, Caesar salad, and garlic bread. Her father arrived shortly after that. Silvana did not eat much, because she was too nervous wondering if Zadist would come for her tonight or not... It was the moment of truth. So she excused herself, saying her stomach did not feel well... And went upstairs to work on her school assignments. Every now and then she would glance nervously at the clock, urging time to go faster.

Kisu 06-25-2010 04:10 PM

(I shall be on tonight.)

His day had been horrible. His second cellphone, family only, had rung nonstop, until the vampire had finally answered, listening to his mother rattle off. At least he didn't have to give Silvana up just yet. Only arrange a meeting with the vampiress that had raised the sadistic male. The one female in the world that Zadist would never disobey now. She scared the fangs off him. Almost literally.

The sun had set two hours nine minutes and four-no, five seconds ago. And Zadist was tired of waiting. Though Silvana had told the vampire to wait until her parents had gone to bed, the male had different ideas about this. He'd messed up his last relationship with a human. Silvana would not turn out the same. So it was almost eight thirty when his eclipse stopped in front of her house.

He slid from his seat, straightening the blue sweater he wore, and glancing at the khakis underneath before moving to the doorway, a dozen roses clasped to his chest. Not exactly Silvana, but he had something special for her in the car. If she didn't have it already...

Nervously, the vampire pushed the doorbell, glancing around awkwardly. Damn. Why was he doing this again? He'd flat out told her he wouldn't change for her, but after just one night, he wanted to. Wanted to please her and keep that look off her face, when he'd left to find another woman. Hence the reason for the strange clothes. That he'd forgotten the tags on..."Shit." He cursed aloud, bending awkwardly and letting his fangs slid out, quickly slicing through the tag. A moment later, his fangs were tucked neatly away, the tag drifting to the ground behind him. Hopefully, the female's parents would answer, and Zadist wouldn't have to try to get past Silvana to meet them.

In his world, the females rules the family, hence the flowers that wouldn't impress Silvana at all. Zadist intended to impress her mother before taking her daughter out. Her father didn't matter, after all, if he got in the way, Zadist could just sli-NO! He scolded himself, reminding himself that Silvana most likely enjoyed her family and wanted them around.

(Tapped that...hehe)

ContessaLeandra 06-25-2010 07:40 PM

((Omg, that is freaking adorable... Zadist... AWWW. WOW. ))

Silvana finished her homework in record time. In must have been the inspiration of events to follow. Even her Calculus homework she completed with an ease unbeknownst to her. She had never been able to do it in less than an hour and a half... Or two, on bad days. But today, literally thirty minutes! And, surprise surprise, she had actually understood it, rather than rushed through it! Ahh, the magic of dates with vampires--a girl had to go crazy. Not really. But it was still an interesting situation. After that, Silvana sprang up from bed and ran into the bathroom to shower. She used nothing overly scented, just a simple jasmine soap, very light, and shampoo/conditioner. Afterward the girl dried her hair, straightened it as best she could, and ran into her room. She went through her clothes like a hurricane, trying to find the outfit she had considered the night before.

A short-sleeve white vintage-styled blouse... With some frills on the front; nothing too crazy because the focus was totally the... Bright pink skirt with white lace trim, over sheer white tights, and bright pink Mary Janes with heels. And the bright pink Victorian-ish cameo on the blouse. Of course, she put on her light-pink-with-white -polka-dots-and-white-lace-trim undergarments, just in case something else was going to happen. She wasn't pushing for it to, but... Zadist was sort of unpredictable. She finished off the look with the neon pink fingernail polish, waving her hands frantically to dry it... And then the cotton-candy-hued eye shadow. A simple sheer lip gloss... There was this unspoken rule in the fashion world where you either had crazy eye make-up or bright lipstick. This time, she wanted eye shadow. Her skin (amazingly) looked okay, so she only had to pat a light layer of foundation on, and as the girl gazed into her full-length mirror (in the corner of the room)... Silvana thought,

Well, I do look like a neon explosion of paint. Hopefully he likes that.

Meanwhile, downstairs, a grumpy-looking Mrs. Di Morro heard the doorbell ring, and slipped off of the sofa from beside her husband. They had been watching some of the World Cup on TV. She was middle-aged, with graying brown hair, and a simple long-sleeved blue top over jeans. Some of her prettiness from her younger days remained, but mostly she looked tired... It must have been from all the politics she experienced in her environmental consulting position downtown. The endless piles of paperwork, perhaps? Her name was Sarah. She wondered who could be coming to call at this hour. And when the woman finally threw the front door ajar, she was surprised by what so so. A strikingly handsome, pale young man with even paler hair... An albino, maybe? In a sweater and khaki pants... Holding roses and looking... Somewhat nervous, or determined, or a mixture of both. At first there was a pang in her chest, unexplained, like she did not want him there. But as his good looks sank in, it occurred to her that maybe the boy was there for Silvana. But it didn't make sense. Silvana never had boys over!

"Paolo," she called to her husband on the couch. The Italian man, Sicilian, stood up and peered into the hallway. He had darker skin and hair, but blue eyes. He, too, retained some of the handsomeness from his youth, but he was gaining weight and slightly balding. The man peered into the hallway at the stranger, or intruder in his opinion, and went upstairs to fetch Silvana. "SIL," he yelled, not waiting to reach the top of the stairs before doing so (and with a heavy accent). "SOMEONE IS HERE!"

Kisu 06-25-2010 09:15 PM

Raised in a time when he would have been brought into the house, settled down and given tiny finger sandwiches, Zadist's greeting threw him off guard, and he continued to stand there for a moment. Finally, he held out the bouquet. "These are for you ma'am...I hope I'm not intruding. I'm here for Silvana...Would she be avaiable at the moment?" Zadist offered the female a smile, though his piercing green eyes were traveling behind her, past Silvana's father, up the stairs, waiting for a sign of his new mates.

ContessaLeandra 06-25-2010 09:23 PM

Sarah arched a brow and nodded. She took the roses, taken aback by the young man's politeness at bring his date a bouquet in this day and age. "Uhm, come in," she offered, stepping to the side and beckoning. She had no finger sandwiches, certainly, but Zadist could wait in the hall for Silvana. "She's probably finished her homework by now, but she was feeling a bit ill, at least around dinnertime. Hardly ate. But I suppose if she knew you were coming, she purposefully ate next to nothing tonight." She crossed one arm over her stomach holding the bouquet, and rubbed the back of her head, unsure of what to say. But she was suspicious and curious, like any mother would be, so she asked, "What's your name? Have you known Silvana long?"

Silvana wheeled around when her dad entered her room, caught like a deer in the headlights. Her indigo eyes were wide like tea saucers. Her father squinted at her, in her electric pink clothing, but shrugged anyway. "You have a visitor," he said. "Some boy. Now young lady, it is late. If you come home past midnight, I WILL kill him." The girl could scarcely believe her ears. A VISITOR? Did her dad mean...? "THANKS, DADDY!" she cried and snatched up a purse, taking off down the stairs in a fit of unmatched enthusiasm.

Kisu 06-25-2010 09:31 PM

Zadist gave Sarah a bow, stepping past her to stand in the hall, his hands clasped behind him after the female removed the flowers. "I'm..." Zadist hesitated, unsure if he should give his real name. He continued on, however, choosing to do so, "Zadist Dvorak. I've only known Silvana a few days, but was lucky enough to persuade her to join me for dinner. I...apologize that she didn't tell you." Not that she knew... "I certainly didn't mean to create any inconvenience."

He stopped speaking, looking to the stairs as he heard the conversation upstairs, followed by Silvana's footsteps. Zadist's breath caught in his throat as the woman came into view. She was an explosion of color in his dreary world. And every single vibrant splash matched her personality. He loved it, and was unable to keep from beaming to her. Zadist moved to the bottom of the stairs, holding his hand up to help her the last few steps. "Silvana...you look beautiful..." Zadist wasn't aware he spoke the words until they were out.

ContessaLeandra 06-25-2010 09:41 PM

Silvana must have turned as pink as her clothing, seeing Zadist standing beside her mother wearing--dare she say it-- a blue sweater and khaki dress pants! He looked almost... Normal! If it was not, of course, for his extreme whiteness and scintillating sex appeal. He moved to her on the staircase, holding out his hand for her to clasp. She did so, blushing wildly at the compliments. This was like Prom, except that she'd never gone to Prom during high school. Certainly not in this outfit. And most definitely not with a male of any kind. Males were like aliens to her. At least... They had been, until last night. "I-I'm surprised," she murmured to him, covering her burning face with one hand. Her mother stared at her skeptically from the hallway. Her father climbed down the stairs behind her, folding his arms and narrowing his blue eyes at the strange man.

"So, uhmm...." Silvana noticed the roses in her mother's arms. "Zadist gave you... uuhhh.. Roses?" Her mother nodded slowly. Then, in a moment of realization, went to the kitchen to fill up a vase with water and transfer the blooms there. The vase was placed at the center of their simple, four person dinner/breakfast table.

Kisu 06-25-2010 09:48 PM

Zadist nodded and smiled to the male behind Silvana, before focusing on escourting her down the stairs. This done, he continued to hold his mate's hand, as if declaring she was his. Looking to his mother, the vampire feined awkwardness. (Not as hard as you'd think.) "I wasn't sure what kind of flowers you would like the most, so I selected the customary...."

Zadist shifted once more, lifting Silvana's hand to his lips, inhaling her sweet scent as he did so, "Are you ready, Laska?"

ContessaLeandra 06-25-2010 09:52 PM

Sarah noted the boy's strange accent and pet name. Apparently her daughter shared the same preference for foreign men, so she nodded and muttered a thanks. The woman stepped aside to allow the young man to escort her daughter through the now-open front door. Paolo followed Silvana down the stairs and into the hallway, standing protectively beside his wife. "I want Silvana back at midnight," he declared. "She has school tomorrow, and needs to sleep." If only he knew the half of it, Silvana laughed...Inwardly. She could hardly say things like that aloud without arousing suspicion.

"I'm ready," she answered Zadist, beaming with the most giddy smile imaginable. She could not even begin to explain the joy she felt in that moment. The vampire, the blood-thirsty rapist serial vampire, had bothered to introduce himself to her parents! Things were looking up!
