Zadist had hesitated, nodding to Silvana and about to protest the curfew, before remembering the studying he'd done. Human parents normally inflicted a curfew on their offspring. The smile returned to his face, and he gave the duo a bow before guiding Silvana out. He held his car door open for her, before sliding into his side.
Reaching into the backseat and shoving various chick flicks that had been his studying material to the side, Zadist lifted a tiny package, wrapped in pink paper and tied with a silver bow, handing it to the female. It contained the Davdas soundtrack, though Zadist was unsure if she already had it. He also had something for her to play it on, just in case she didn't have anything. Deciding to get right down to the worst matter on his mind, Zadist cleared his throat. "My mother called. She wishes to meet you." The vampire frowned, staring forward. "No...that doesn't explain it. It's strange. Your customs are different than ours. My mother is the oldest born vampire. Very powerful. And...worse than me. At my worst. She is insisting that I bring you to dinner, so instead of the restaurant I planned, would you mind coming to our estates?" He hesitated once more, glancing at her, "I mean, not bring you to dinner, but, join us, I suppose. She is having human food prepared for you, but I must warn you, I doubt you'd like our...dinnertimes..."

Silvana's jaw dropped, first at the gift of the Devdas soundtrack. She did not have it--it had been hard enough to find the movie in the States! (Her parents did not like her extensive internet shopping, so she'd cut back on that.) But she stopped mid-squeal at the mention of the ordeal ahead. Zadist's mother. The oldest vampire. Wanted her. To join them. For dinner. At their estate. The concept of it flooded through her mind, and finally all the nerve endings in her brain started firing in protest. OMG YOU'RE GOING TO DIE! DON'T GO! SHE WILL EAT YOUR BRAIN! AHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHHH! Who is it, freaking Lillith?! The fallen angel of doom?!! But, despite her brain screaming at her to avoid the obvious danger.. She opened her mouth and said, "Okay." Why? Because surviving the woman would guarantee that Silvana could handle any hurricane.
And, among other things, Silvana was insane. She was pretty sure the woman would slay her the second after she opened her eccentric mouth, but it was worth a try. "Is there any particular way I should act? A high-class society girl? A southern belle? A scientific mastermind? A supervillain? An alien from outer space?" Silvana asked, her eyes practically glazing over from her nervousness regarding the idea.

Zadist listened to her quietly for a few moments, speeding along. It would take about half an hour, the speed he was driving, and his cell was already vibrating in his pocket. "Uh, honestly, laska, just act like you. She...won't like you regardless. And for God's sake, don't mention my father. Just don't. Is that the only question you have: How should you act?"
He continued smoothly, not looking to her. "You'll see some pretty bad things, by human standards....Don't speak against them. Don't stand up after we are seated. It's considered rude, and Mother won't like it. Phayte will be there too. As well as a few females my Mother saw fit to invite." The last sentance was through gritted teeth.

Females. Female vampires that his mother would prefer him to be with? Talk about overbearing. But Silvana supposed, as the oldest vampire in existence, she was a badass bee-yatch. Not that she would say that to her face... But she was itching/dying to know what Zadist's mother looked like. Would she be inhumanly gorgeous to the point that the girl would have to cover her eyes and scream, 'I'm bliiiind!!'? Or would she be just scary to the point of tears? If she was to be herself... Well, Silvana had managed to win Zadist over with her personality. So maybe the same thing would work on his mother? 'So, human, what do you want to do with your life?' 'CHASE STORMS IN A CAR!' '....Are you a thrill-seeking human?' 'No, I think clouds are pretty.' She could not even fathom how the conversation would go, honestly. It just seemed like madness altogether.
Silvana grasped the arm rest on the passenger side, gritting her teeth at the speed the vampire was driving. Seriously, he could be in NASCAR if he wanted! And his maneuvering around slower cars... Very impressive. But also stressful. Still, she tried not to let the idea of a flaming car accident get to her--even if it might be preferable to dinner with a bunch of angry noble-blooded vampires that would love to eat her instead. "What's your mom's name?" Silvana asked after a few minutes.

Zadist glanced over to her, raising an eyebrow. "Miss. Dvorak is what you should call her. She's Lillith Dvorak, though. You'll get to meet my sister, Cynn. She'll pelt you with questions. She's fairly young, and already sure of her place in our family when Mother falls. Vampire families are commonly ruled by the females, since my...Since the first vampire was female. Just, remember what I told you, alright? I used to be kind. Much kinder. Mother was the second main reason I changed..."
Soon after that, Zadist was pulling into a long driveway, the gates creaking admittance. His keys were handed to a blond vampire as the male moved out of his car, holding the door open for Silvana. The house was large, bright lights blaring from every window, the large double doors opened. Eerie music floated down, and the occasional tinkle of laughter. The estate was located on miles and miles of land, a large wall showing the boundaries. A good thing, considering the screams that occasionally pierced the air, pure desperation ringing.
At the first scream, Zadist had hesitated, looking to Silvana with uncertain eyes. "Laska...if you don't wish to do this, we can leave it for some other time..."

Lillith. Silvana's eyes watered. Her mind was on the fritz. Lillith. OH. MY. FREAKING. GOD. She had the urge to turn, the moment she was out of the car, and flee into the woods or something, like a desperado. She did not have a horse, however, so it would not have done her much good... This far out of town? She would not make it very far. A thousand questions surged through her. Why here? Why this city? Why Lillith? Why did she meet Zadist? What had happened to her peaceful, uneventful, painfully boring existence? Silvana hardly knew the answers to all of these questions, but she had a sinking feeling that she would eventually find out. Her jaw unhinged, she glanced at the vampire male... At his immaculate visage...
Wondering if he was worth possibly being torn to shreds, limb from limb. Well, he was nice...Underneath the raping and murdering. And he was the only guy who'd ever shown genuine interest in her personality. He had also deflowered her, so he had that little... Piece of her... For the rest of her life. Which, decidedly, was going to be a blink of an eye for the older man regardless of whether she died here or not. Silvana supposed having "murdered by vampires" on her headstone was ranked up there with "flung into wall by tornado". So, despite logical reasoning and the basic human survival instinct, Silvana's legs started to carry her towards the house.
"I'll be okay," she muttered, half to Zadist, half to herself. "As long as you try to keep them from stabbing me repeatedly or impaling me on a rod. Am I going to see impaled people? Is your mother like Vlad the Impaler?" The screams heightened the atmosphere, rendering the circumstances much like the sepia horror movies she so enjoyed--with the mad scientists or vampires or monsters... The people with a broken car in the middle of nowhere forced to trudge through the wilderness towards a dilapidated mansion that may or may not result in unspeakable terror and an agonizing death. "Just think of it as the Eye of the Storm, and I'm in a little red airplane... Circling around... Taking measurements..." she mumbled.

Zadist was eying her, clearly fearing for her sanity....not that Silvana had much to begin with. "No, Laska, she does not impale people..." As they moved into the entrance hall, it was clear what she did do. A woman, who could have been Silvana's age or younger, was hanging from the ceiling, naked. Various humaoid stood around her, though from the way they eyed the female, it was clear they weren't humans. The woman's body held various gashed that dripped unto the white marble below her, chains wrapped around her wrists, waist, and ankles. Tear filled her eyes, and the woman let out another scream, her chocolate eyes darting around in desperation. Phayte stood behind her, growling, clearly enjoying himself. The woman, however, had spotted Silvana, and began screaming, though it was unintelligible.
Zadist's hand was resting on his mate's arm, and it tightened slightly, the blood and acts being performed forcing his fangs to explode, though the male, for the first time in centuries, felt shame that he'd wish to join his brother. The vampire had moved to steer Silvana into another room, however, his brother stopped his relentless moving to greet him, calling out gaily and grinning broadly. As he greeted them, the female's turned, eying the human, before their eyes slid to Zadist. Only one stepped forward, however, a frail looking blond thing that eyed Silvana with dislike. "I would ask if you'd brought a treat for us, Zadist, but I can see and smell that the rumors are true. You marked a human? What happened to the bond we were supposed to share?" Her voice was sly and coy, continuing as she turned to Silvana. "I wonder when he will bore of you like he did..." A growl stopped her from continuing, and she sighed, hugging herself. "I am Celia. You are?"

Indeed, at the sight of the high school girl hanging from the ceiling, Silvana stifled a gag reflex in the back of her throat. It was not as though she was squeamish and disliked the sight of blood or violence. But the emotion from the act--the fact that she was a human being with friends and family... Got to Silvana. That, and the reminder that the girl, being tortured and killed in front of Silvana... Last night, could have very well been either her or Lucy. She wanted to cry, immediately, but her eyes stayed dry and unblinking. Her body informed her, through feeling, that retaining her composure would ensure her survival. Even if, deep inside of her, Silvana truly wanted to scream, pull out a baseball bat, and go on a rampage. If only she were Rambo. If she were Rambo, she could blow this joint! That's it, her mind drawled, Think happy, strange thoughts. They will keep you calm, jovial... I mean, look at your explosion of pink! You are Pretty in Pink. Very pretty. Oh. But that might be a bad thing, here. She was roused from her stupor by the sound of Phayte's voice, though. And ultimately, the address from a soft, female chime.
Silvana's gaze was met with a gorgeous, model-thin woman who called herself Celia. And, logically speaking, she had to have been the one Zadist was meant to court. At least, she suited him far better. Her willowy body, graceful movements. Silvana's reply caught in her throat, but eventually, she was able to speak. Instead of a squeak, like she'd expected to come from her, the girl formulated a rant. Long sentences. "Hi, I'm Silvana. You guys must be vampires, too. Hi. Very much hi. Hello. Uhm, nice..." She looked around frantically for a conversation piece. A marble statue. There we go! Silvana pointed at it. "That's a nice statue you got. Classic reproduction. Probably really old, though. I'd guesstimate several centuries. You should take it on Antiques Roadshow."

Celia looked at the statue, her eyes widening slightly before turning back to Silvana. "Um...yes...quite...lovely...Zadist..." Celia began purring, hers much higher in pitch and whispery that the male's. "Your mother asked me to let her know when you arrived...I'm supposed to entertain you while she...greets out special guest."
Zadist had grinned broadly at Silvana when she responded, snickering. As Celia turned back to him, he began frowning again, finally growling. "This is not your home. So Mistress Silvana is not your guest. She is ours. And I believe I shall introduce my mate to my mother. In her office, I presume?" Without waiting for an answer, Zadist began leading Silvana up the stairs, egging her on from behind with gentle nuzzles and laps to her neck. At the top of the stairs, however, there stood what appeared to be a young girl, maybe twelve or thirteen. Behind her, attached by a collar and chain, stood a naked man, clearly human, various fading bite marks. "Cynn!" Zadist greeted, holding out his arms. The female squealed and rushed into them, speaking in a voice that was much older than her body.
"Zadie! You never come to see me anymore! And now I hear you've marked a human? Mother is livid. She says you didn't learn your lesson from Melody...Ohhhhhh!!! Is this her? Why, she doesn't look like anything special! She looks like...cotton candy exploded..." Cynn tilted her head, finally bursting into a grin, seeming to listen to something inside of her, "Ohhh, Silvana, then? Can I dress you up and do your hair, please, please, please? How old are you? A few hundred years? You don't seem terribly strong, for that age..."

Silvana experienced a surge of triumph at the confusion brewing in the blonde female's eyes. And, as Zadist guided her up the stairs, she almost threw her arms up in the air and screamed, "Victory!" One boss down, an infinitely large number more to go! If this was a videogame, like Castlevania, she would be wreaking all kinds of havoc. But for now, all she had going for her was the ability to weave something out of nothing--with unrelated conversation about tapestries or gargoyles. It was ingenious, really. All she would have to do in front of Zadist's mother was peruse the books, comment on them. Ask if she played chess. She was the chess champion at her high school, after all. Not that a vampire wouldn't be better at chess than her, after centuries upon centuries to practice. (Assuming they even liked board games, of course.) An obvious back-up would be Clue, or even Yahtzee. Silvana hadn't played Yahtzee for a really long time!
They were interrupted, however, by a younger girl... Or a seemingly younger girl, named 'Cynn'. And from the warm greeting by Zadist, she assumed the faux thirteen-year-old was none other than family. His sister, perhaps. Despite the naked guy (and she tried not to look at the man's junk--it was seriously like RIGHT THERE), Silvana did not feel so threatened by Cynn. She did scowl somewhat at the cotton candy comment, but since it was true, she could not argue. "I think cotton candy is delicious," Silvana huffed, though. "It's pure sugar and I love sugar. Besides. It's fluffy and pink. I like pink. I also like green and orange and red and purple and yellow and--" She realized the girl had been asking to dress her and do her hair. What was she, a human doll?! Oh, right. Yup. That was the point.
"I'm nineteen, and... Uh... Dress-up is nice. I also enjoy tea parties and petit fours. But I'm supposed to be meeting your mother...?" She glanced back at Zadist to back her up, grimacing dramatically. "So maybe later?"

Zadist grinned and chuckled, shaking his head and leaning against the wall, tilting due to the stairs. Cynn frowned, then growled, a shocking thing coming from the tiny girl. "You don't intend to let me play with you at all! What kind of human are you? I should have Balto..." Cynn gave a tug on the human's chair, making him lurch forward, "Teach you how to....Ohhh....Then why would he mark her?" The girl's eyes were glazed, and she began talking to the air in front of her, confused.
Zadist seized the chance, tugging the girl along. "Cynn's a little strange. She's about to go through puberty. It lasts about twenty years for us, and when it's done, she will be in her prime. She's a little off...hears things. Vampire ancestors or some shit. I dunno if I even believe it. But she tends to know things she shouldn't...Here we are." Zadist turned to Silvana, cupping her head and kissing her deeply, lapping at her lips before turning to the double doors he'd stopped in front of and pushing them open.
Inside was a giant library, a large red desk sitting in the center of the almost circular room. At the desk, seated patiently, sat a woman paler than Zadist. Her hair was the same shade as his, and she bore the same striking green eyes. Her voice, when she spoke, was soft, but still piercing. Her presence sent chills down her son's spine, so Zadist could only imagine what Silvana felt.
Even more shocking than the woman, however, was the bright red of her lips, and the naked corpses piled to her left and right. Stench perverted the room, death and blood so thick you could almost swim in it. Lillith stood slowly, revealing a tall, almost impossibly thin frame. "Son. Girl. Come to me. I want to see what threatening to ruin my eldest child...Do you know the trouble your mere existance now puts on Zadist, girl?"

Silvana was trying to make sense of the information about Cynn, when she found herself caught between the vampire's hands and pulled into a bittersweet, deep kiss. She forgot where she was for a moment, grasping onto the front of Zadist's sweater and reciprocating, stifling the teeniest of moans as his tongue darted out across her lips. But, as quickly as he'd initiated it, he broke it, and the poor girl found herself being dragged into a room that smelled so horrifying she staggered and almost tripped on an Oriental rug. She covered her nose with her hands, as if it would make a difference, and immediately noticed the corpses on first inspection. They blocked the path to the shelves...So much for commenting on the woman's collection. Seemed rather impractical to turn a library into a mortuary, not like Lillith of all people freaking cared when she came up from hell with her demon offspring and--Lillith.
Silvana stopped dead in her tracks, fear rippling through her the very split second the infamous "woman" spoke to her. She angled her gaze, indigo orbs wide, and glanced upon a surprisingly ghostly woman... Frail, delicate, freakishly skinny... Terrifyingly gorgeous in an unearthly way that wanted to make Silvana scream, pull her hair, and crash through the window to escape from her. But, as a cornered animal, she remained frozen on the carpeting, her legs unable to move. They felt like lead, in those dreams where you try to run but cannot run fast even when your life depended on it... As if the feeling was not bad enough to begin with, the woman stood and beckoned to them.
Silvana's feet carried her towards the large cherry wood desk at the center of the chamber, towards the freakish woman that she honestly, wanted nothing to do with. But it was though the woman's command left her weak human body and willpower with no choice. She would be easily flayed, Silvana guessed, if the woman so chose. It would be over in an instant. She tried to think of something to say to Lillith that would not so offend her as to warrant that action, as she seemingly already despised her to the depth of her vampiric soul.
Silvana curtsied, clumsily, and stammered, "U-Uhm, yeah... I... Uh, nice to meet you. I am Silvana. I know that your son's interest in me is most convenient for all of you. But I'm trying to be good, so." Her lips welded shut, and she clasped her hands together. Her eyes were wide. Very wide. Her brain raced for something more to say, but she could think of nothing, except--"By the way, I like your curtains. Very thick."

Zadist had followed right along with Silvana, clinging to her arm, ready to fling her behind him. After just one night, he was addicted to the female, he needed her to survive, and he'd fight for his life if need be. His mother's gaze rovved over his hand, sneering. Her fangs didn't retract, and were so long the delved almost to her chin.
After listening to the female, Lillith's sneer deepened, and she leaned forward over the desk, making the male tug Silvana a step back. The vampiress spoke softly to Silvana. "No, not for all of us. Just for him. He hasn't told you, has he?"
"Mother, please-"
"Zadist, here, will be punished. I haven't decided what it shall be, but he will be. And you, girl. You can't seem to hold your tounge. Unwise, for that will mean you joining us here. I'd make you a slave, tied in my hallway. I assume you saw the little human slut when you entered? Imagine that with a much larger party. Though, I'd make sure only males received my invitation for that one..."
A growl resounded from Zadist, and Lillith glanced to her son in mild amusement, chuckling. "Come, though. It's dinnertime. We were waiting for you. I think your first vampire meal will be quite....thrilling..." The woman chuckled, leading the way to another massive hall.
Zadist intertwined his hand with Silvana's, giving it a tiny squeeze for comfort, before he began gently leading her after him mother. They arrived to a dining hall, the vampiresses already seated. Lillith seated herself at the head of the table, Cynn to her right, Phayte next to her. Zadist had a seat on her left, Silvana on his left. And on her left, sat Celia, who threw another coy look to Zadist. The only place a place was set was at Silvana's place, the rest filled with large clear glasses. On the large wood table, they were multiple rings, large ominous looking items. "Come, laska..." Zadist urged gently, praying Silvana would remember his earlier warnings.

Silvana's body went completely numb with fear. In fact, she hardly thought her nerves existed now. If someone had stabbed her with a compass, the pointy ones from high school, she would not have felt a single thing. She sank into herself, completely enfolded in her own interior monologue. She would not speak anymore, she thought, because she was definitely going to die sometime tonight. And the more she said, the more likely her death would be excruciating and terribly drawn out. Would she experience a gang-banging by vampires? Hopefully not. Not even Zadist's newfound addiction and want for her seemed to cool Lillith's desire for her blood and...
Even if her son did not agree, she would most definitely destroy Silvana without remorse of any kind. The girl allowed herself to be led by Zadist, by the hand, in the shadow of the terrifying woman. Vampire dinner. Vampire.... Oh, God, someone was going to murdered horrifically in front of her, weren't they? Silvana swallowed, clutching tightly onto Zadist's hand, unable to say... Honestly... Anything remotely witty to him.
Silvana was sandwiched at the table between Zadist and Celia, who clearly disliked her. She delighted, at least, in her place setting. Real human food! Although, she was not confident that they would give her anything good. Hopefully not live worms or raw fish... And, after all the unspeakable horrors she'd been seeing, she most likely wouldn't be hungry. And that was probably why, despite herself, she would eat like a pig just to show them she was okay. Silvana was decidedly not okay. But... Like the vampire male had urged her, she would not speak out against anything they said or did.
And she could not, at any point, stand and excuse herself from the table. Even if she needed to go to the bathroom. Silvana looked to Zadist, worry in her eyes, if not written on her face. She silently pleaded for some sort of support, if it came to that. And she would not let go of his hand under the table. She was far too freaked out, between the individuals present and the potential torture devices on the table. HANNIBAL LECTOR!

The vampire didn't seem fazed by the chains. Actually, his tounge darted out, wetting his lips for a moment, before he realized Silvana was still holding his hand and gazing at him. Her fear radiated from her. He could smell in, almost bathe in it. As much as he hated it, it made his body harden and tense, excited.
Soon, a streak was brought out, vegetables overflowing. The plate was laid over the existing plate in front of Silvana, the human who did so backing away quickly, trembling. Soon afterwards, screaming was heard, before another human male was dragged forward, thrust unto the table, sending the female, excluding Lillith, into a frenzy, their hands reaching out to poke and prod his skin. Screaming subsiding, the man whimpered, looking to each person on the table, pleading. His eyes rested on Silvana, seeing she was human, and he began begging. "Please, please, help me....help me...d-don't let them....please...." He began crying, even as he was chained down, the vampires reaching over, their fangs slicing into him and drawing more screams. His blood trickled into the clear glasses, which were gulped greedily.
Zadist hesitated, his eyes swirling with silver, his mouth parted slightly. The fear coming from Silvana, the pain from the male, the blood he could smell all around him. So tempting to act like those females. His hand tightened on the female's under the table, his other hand cracking the wood on his chair, though he remained seating, watching his mouth lean over, creating an incision in his neck, filling her own glass.
She swirled the liquid around, grinning maliciously at Silvana. Lillith raised her glass to the human, "Enjoy..."

Silvana's eyes were glassy. If not for the firm resolution to keep herself from crying when the man pleaded for help and then was cruelly... Drained... Before her... She would have been drowning in her own salty tears. On top of it, Zadist seemed to enjoy the view. Seemed to enjoy what was... What did she expect? The girl slowly removed her hand from his, glaring down at her vegetables. A vegetarian meal, of course. Mocking her. They were treating her like some sort of... Silvana did not know...
Some sort of farm animal that would be fed plants until they were fat enough to slaughtered and served at the dinner table. Just like the man. But, she lifted a fork and started to eat the vegetables, enjoying how they tasted like something other than blood and mammal flesh. After tonight, she would most likely be vegetarian, too. She could relate with cattle and poultry. No more hamburgers or chicken sandwiches. Just eggs. Unfertilized chicken eggs with no baby chickens in them.
The girl ate in silence, unable to speak because her throat had gone dry. She wished sorely for some water to quench her own thirst and wash down the savory greens. Unless someone addressed her, she would say nothing. Do nothing out of place. When she got out of this house, provided that she ever did... Silvana was going to scream like a lunatic and punch babies. Well, not the baby part. But she would most likely punch something, and then collapse on her bedroom floor in a sobbing heap.

Zadist hesitated as Silvana removed her hand. Slowly, he reached over, moving as if he was going to place his hand on her thigh. The male pulled back quickly, however, instead glancing away from her, and the feast prepared for him, growling softly. Dammit. He'd been afraid that Silvana would displease his mother. He hadn't thought of the girl turning from him.
After a moment, he lifted a hand, summoning the human serving Silvana to him. He muttered a few words, and the human reappeared, holding a glass of wine and water, setting both next to the female and dissappearing once more.
Zadist's mothers, however, seemed to be enjoying herself. Celia glanced to the human, grinning, her teeth stained red. "What's wrong, human? Regretting the choice you made?" She hissed softly. "You could give him up. It's a female's right, you know, to send their male packing, if he's displeased her...Since you were marked by our ways, our mating ways are yours as well. Well, not all of them. You couldn't do a lot of them." She smirked, before lifting her glass and drinking once more.

Silvana wanted to snap at Celia, or at least break a plate over he head to convey what she felt where words failed. But of course, doing so would result in many undesirable things. Even a word out of line in Lillith's presence would allow her to be torn to shreds in an instant. And, Zadist was not helping much, except for the water. To fight the desire to verbally thrash the blonde vampiress, Silvana lifted the glass of water to her lips and drank it.
A part of her recalled... How he had said he used to be kind, when he first started. But Lillith had degraded him to enjoyment of such violence. The human female could hardly feel comfortable, but she reminded herself that humans killed each other just as often. An in grotesque ways. She summoned images of the Holocaust, the missing people during Chile's dictatorships... Various revolutions, terrorists... Sudan, Rowanda...Murderers. Rapists among her own.
Was what she was seeing her, honestly, any worse? These were vampires. Born vampires. They had never known anything else. It was like drinking a glass of water for them. Without blood, they would die. And it seemed the sadism involved... Was necessary. No delicate sipping. No careful treatment. They just killed, and the bloodier, the better. Silvana felt alienated, from the individuals sitting with her at the table. She felt alienated from the dead man on the table surface. From the human slaves serving the vampires' every whim to avoid dying themselves...
Most of all, Silvana felt alienated from her own species. Humans. She could never be this cruel, even to survive. She would rather die than raise her hand against another human being, or even in this case... A vampire. But now, she sat on the brink between the two races; neither belonging to one or the other. Her life, as Zadist had warned her, had been turned completely upside down. But she thought of Devdas for a moment. Anything worth anything in life had to be attained through hard work.
If someday Silvana was going to have a shot at love, with a vampire or not, she had to at least try. Just like eventually she would get through her difficult classes at the university and become a Storm Chaser, like she'd always wanted. She would travel, she would wear bright colors... And she certainly refused to back down right now. Silvana ate her vegetables with renewed vigor and determination.

Soon enough, the dinner was over, and Lillith attempted to gather everyone in another room, presumably for more acts of violence. Cynn, however, wise beyond her years, glanced at her mother and shook her head. "Mistress Silvana needs to be on her way. She'll have to be home soon. Her parents said by ten."
As the other vampires stood, Phayte casting a scathing look over his shoulder, Cynn winked at the human, before following the group. Zadist stood stiffly, turning just as swiftly. "Come...I was going to take you to a movie as well, it would get out before midnight. But, if you'd prefer, I'll take you home now." He spoke coldly, as he had when they first met, his emerald eyes avoiding looking to the woman he'd marked for his own.

Silvana was, within a moment, indebted to Cynn. She may have smiled at the girl, actually, before she rose with the intention of following Zadist out of that terrible place. But, she thought it best to show her reverence, and bowed deeply to all of the vampires present. "Thank you," she said quietly. "For the lovely dinner." Silvana refused to be discouraged by any of their antics. How much of this, anyway, had been a show put on to frighten her? She had no way of knowing without asking Zadist in the car. As she followed the vampire male, walking briskly through the house, Silvana asked, "What movie are we going to, Z?"
In a split second, she'd invented a nickname for him. It sounded good, she thought. Kind of like Zorro, with the Z's he cut into things to show he'd been there. But from the vampire's cold behavior... Well, the girl could only guess. She was thankful to be alive, but she knew the moment she went home, she would collapse and cry her eyes out. A movie seemed a welcome distraction. And while Silvana could not lie to the vampire and say she was okay with everything that had happened, she did not blame him. "I still like you," she whispered softly.

"Don't lie to me." Zadist muttered, leading the way out of the house, waiting as his car was driven up. He opened her door and slid inside his seat, growling softly. He didn't look at her again, jerking the car into drive and pressing down on the pedal, making it lurch forward.
"We'll watch whatever you choose." He muttered at long last.

Oh, so now the vampire was going to take her reaction to a man being drained of his freaking blood in front of her personally? She had just survived the most horrific moment of her life, literally, after having only known Zadist for a day. It took years and years of love and familiarity for a regular person to withstand that sort of terror for another person. But she had done it. What sane human female would be willingly to look at him again after this? Silvana, obviously. But her evident disgust at the evening had apparently insulted him and convinced him that she was lying about... She was not exactly demanding to be taken home, was she?! Silvana gripped her skirt with both fists, seething. She did not understand this reaction at all. She did not understand the behavior of freaking anyone now. And she certainly did not deserve anger.
In fact... The girl's eyes may have been watering at that point. The tears that she'd held back in the house now threatened to overflow from her eyes. They could watch whatever she wanted? Really? What were they even going to watch now? It had better be a movie with fluffy kittens!, her mind screamed. And, when faced with despair, Silvana did the only thing she possibly could do. She sang Korean pop: Gee, by Girl's Generation.
"Aha!
Listen boy
My first love story
My angel
And my girls
My sunshine
Uh! Uh! Let's go!"
At that point, Silvana started flailing her arms in attempt to dance--in her seat.
"Neomu neomu meotjyeo nuni nuni busyeo
Sumeul mot swigesseo tteollineun girl
Gee Gee Gee Gee Baby Baby Baby
Gee Gee Gee Gee Baby Baby Baby!"

Zadist had fallen silent once more, except for letting out a tiny cry as Silvana flailed about, the car swerving dangerously. He turned his emerald eyes on her as soon as the car stopped on the side of the road. "What...are you doing?" The male leaned away, holding his breath, not wanting to breath in that scent. She smelled so fantastic, and holding out of that delicious meal. His body was aching, though Zadist attempted to hide the fangs and his silvery eyes from the female, gripping the steering wheel tightly. [/Center]

"I'm singing," Silvana stated. "Because the tension in this car is very thick. It could be cut with a knife." She glanced at the vampire, who was attempting to hide his face. Silvana hardly knew why, but... She was getting angry herself. There was only so much she could tolerate, even with singing Korean pop and trying to alleviate her suffering. And if Zadist was going to treat her like she had done something wrong, when she had acted much braver than a regular human would have in the given situation... Well, she could not stand for it any more.
The girl scowled and wrestled with her seat belt, yanking it off and getting out of the car before the vampire male could protest. She stormed out on the side of the highway, in the middle of the night, with other cars flashing by, and squatted by the grass. She lifted a stick into her hands, prodding the ground with it. Her tears flowed freely and silently down her face. "Stupid stupid stupid..." she grumbled.

Zadist cursed, quickly pulling himself out of the chair and moving to her. "Silvana....come on, get in the car....I'm....I...am...sorry..." He muttered, staying a few feet away from her. "Please, just, get in the car. I'll leave you be, alright? I'll...just take you home, and you can forget about us." Zadist paused, "I'll even wipe your memories, if you'd like..." Oh, gods, how he wanted her. Right here, on the grass. Make her scream...Zadist shook his head, trying to banish the thoughts.
