Zadist growled softly, rubbing his temple. "Alright, Lucy lives. Two, you said whenever I want. So if I happen to be hear and want to see you, well, then you must come here." He stated simply, continuing quickly, "You will not be paying for anything. It's my job to provide for you. Food especially. Secondly, why would I have a problem with you having homework time and helping. But," Zadist gave his michevious smirk, "I think sex should be acceptable as long as the homework gets done within your allotted time period. As for the sleep..." The male sighed, glancing away and nodding, though his head quicklyy swivelled and shook, and no. Even if you weren't moving in with me, you would no longer be travelling without a bodyguard. During the day, their will be bodyguards assigned to guard you, since the vampires cannot. There is your deal."

Silvana was quite unhappy with the way the vampire countered her rules. She was glad that he allowed for Lucy to live, would not interfere with her homework, and allow her to sleep. The sex thing was acceptable, as long as her homework got completed, and correctly. No halfhearted attempts, and certainly not the vampire doing the work for her. She would like him to tutor her on subjects she did not understand because it occurred to him (since he had counted the pieces of garbage and the stars) that he was probably quite good at things involving numbers. However, Silvana was irritated beyond belief when Zadist insisted he had to provide for everything. The bodyguard thing she could tolerate, if they stayed more or less out of her way and sight unless the need arose. But paying for everything? No.
"I can deal with all the rest of that," Silvana stated, "But I can't agree with you paying for everything. I know you must have a good amount saved up from all the time you've had. A surplus. Plenty to spend, more than you even have need for. But I'm studying for a career, and if I can't buy SOME things, I am going to feel useless. Like I am just your pet, rather than your 'mate'. Please, let me buy my food. You won't be eating any of it anyway. And someday I am going to have a job, so... What am I going to do then?"

Zadist stared at the female as if she was mad. "Your job is to make sure I'm doing mine, protecting you and providing for you. If you wanna chase storms for fun." (Though he had no intention of letting any storm close to her....) "Then fine, but I am providing your food. Buy things you want, spoil yourself with your money. You aren't buying food." The vampire leaned back once more, shutting his eyes, tugging her to him. "There. Not so bad, ne?"

Silvana grunted, but she'd make peace with it eventually. If he would take care of her essentials, she'd be all right. When she'd go out to eat at school she could use her own money, anyway, or out with friends. And she could buy her own fun outfits, make-up, DVDs, videogames, and whatever else she wanted at least. Vampires are control-hungry, her mind marveled. Seriously, he wants to do everything. At least Celia had given her some good advice earlier that evening--women were in charge. If she professed to be unhappy about something, later on, she was certain that Zadist would endeavor to fix it. And that comforted the human girl. So she nestled up to the vampire without protesting anymore. "All right. I'll deal with that, for now." The girl brushed the back of her hand down the side of the vampire's face, thinking there was no point in going to sleep yet if she would not even be attending school in the morning.

Zadist began purring, nipping gently the the female's hand. He was clearly pleased now: If he was a peacock, he would clearly be strutting. After a few contented moments like this, Zadist opened an eyes, viewing her sceptically. "Tomorrow morning I'll take you clothes shopping, and food shopping, if you'd like....Maybe we should look into a car for you as well, just in case..." Zadist mused aloud, before wincing. "Oh, yes, there is something you won't be happy about. Every Sunday night, a group of us gather, making plans and the like. Here....including Phayte..."

A CAR? Silvana's jaw unhinged. This was totally unreal. Just how rich was Zadist, anyway? She thought about asking, but would it seem rude...? She would wait till she got more settled in to start asking personal questions. But clothing shopping seemed nice, too--and grocery shopping. She imagined grocery shopping with a born vampire. He would have absolutely no idea what anything was. Or what anything tasted like... And the girl was going to keep her promise, she would become a vegetarian from now on. No meat anything. Dairy products and eggs she could death with. But meat? No. Not after dinner at the Dvorak household. "I thought I was going to use your car?" Silvana giggled. "I promise I won't crash it or anything..."
And, on the subject of clothes shopping, she thought it might be amusing to play dress-up witht he vampire, if he allowed her. Zadist would look excellent in Rococo vampire attire--Gackt anyone? But the mention of the meeting in his apartment made her face fell. "Can I... conveniently disappear from the apartment during the meetings? Girls' night out with my friends, maybe?" She made puppy eyes at the vampire.

Zadist nodded, grinning at her, "Yeah, but I was thinking, what if you'd taken the car someplace, and I needed to get to you? Well, we'll take a look at some cars, too, okay? And of course you can. As long as you are guarded." He fell quiet, musing then.
After a while, he grumbled, letting his eyes fall shut. "Wake me when you get up, love. It's going to be a long day..." The vampire sighed, clearly not looking forward to moving about in the daytime.

Silvana sighed heavily. There was no convincing him, was there? Zadist was stubborn--set in his old ways. If he wanted Silvana to have a car, she would probably have a car. Not that she disliked the idea of actually having one, considering that her driving skills would be put to use for once, but she felt bad having all of these extravagant gifts bestowed on her that not even her parents had been able to afford. She was a regular girl who enjoyed small things, like the Devdas soundtrack. Not a gold-digger. Which was ironic considering the enormous age difference between her and the vampire. In some ways, she was... Silvana almost laughed, but instead pursed her lips at the man, who now had his eyes closed.
She glanced around, wishing that she had a toothbrush to brush her teeth with. But since there were known that she knew of that she could use in the apartment, she poked the vampire gently. "Am I allowed to cuddle with you when we sleep, or do I have to stay really far to one end of the bed?" she asked. It baffled her, too, that Zadist even considered going out with her in the daytime. Wouldn't he pass out from fatigue?

The vampire cracked open one eye. "Do as you'd like, laska, but let me sleep, unless you wanna be dragging a burning corpse out of the sun, ne?" The let the eye drift back closed, wrapping an arm around the female. It was strange, to see him sleeping. He didn't breath, ans since he had no heartbeat, it was truly as if Zadist had died.

Silvana wiggled out from underneath the vampire to turn the lights off in the rest of the apartment. She could not sleep unless there was only a faint light, which she kept on in the bathroom. Zadist probably preferred to sleep with lights on, considering the difference in their sleeping habits, so she left on a lamp. But the room was just dim enough for her to be happy, and the girl crawled back onto the bed. She slipped beneath the silky sheets and draped herself across the vampire's chest, under the arm that had previously been around her. Zadists figure was cool, still... No heartbeat, no breath. She could have been sleeping with a doll of a "stiff". But Silvana knew it was a man, and a man she liked, vampire or not. So she enjoyed being snuggled against him regardless. Her eyelids fluttered shut, and her body remembered how exhausted it was. She practically lost consciousness within ten minutes.

Zadist woke groggily, though he was happy. He laid there for a few moments, stroking the sleeping woman. Eventually, however, he wiggled out from under her, moving to the heavy drapes covering his window. Sure enough, when he pulled them back, blinding white light seared across his vision. Zadist let the drapes fall back, waiting patiently for his eyes to heal.
When they finished, he moved to the bed, kissing Silvana anywhere and everywhere. "Wake up, laska. The beginning of our day..."

Someone would think Silvana was the nocturnal one, based on her behavior. She hated getting up at any time of the day, no matter how long she had managed to sleep--two hours or fifteen. The blankets were always so lovely and comfortable, and she even enjoyed the pajamas the vampire had purchased for her the previous night. They were like wearing flannel blankets in of themselves. Silvana groaned her protestation, feeling around blindly. She grasped the pillow on Zadist's side of the bed, and covered her head with it. He might have to literally drag her from the mattress to get her up.

And that is exactly what the vampire did, picking her up, prying the pillow from her fingers. He brought her to the bathroom, setting her on her feet. Zadist pulled the shower hose down, pointing it at her. "Silvana. Wake up. I have the best water bottle in the world here...." He warned the female, fingers inching towards the cold faucet.

Humans had two basic survival instincts--fight and flight. And Silvana, in this instance, had learned from her mother that cold water in her face in the morning... Was something to fear, perhaps more than vampires. So the girl pivoted on her heels and hauled butt out of the bathroom, diving onto the carpet to escape the "line of fire". And giving herself rug burns on both knees in the process. She already had so many "battle scars" on her body, it was only appropriate that she give herself a couple more, right? Her hands were over her head as she crouched low in the Duck-n-Cover stance people used to advocate during the times of potential nuclear warfare.

Zadist watched her antics in disbelief, moving behind her and shaking his head. He lifted her gently, sighing and moving to the couch. "Laska, it's not that bad, is it?" The vampire lifted her legs, lapping at the rug burns, watching them with satisfaction as they melded back. "Come, get on your pajamas so we can go shopping." The male had already tugged on his own outfit of the day, a black sweater, dark blue jeans, and sneakers. He also reached next to the door, lifting a jacket and sunglasses, slipping them on. "And don't take all day. Sadly."

Silvana laughed at herself, embarrassed at herself. The searing of the burns had at least successfully roused her from her lethargy. And then, it helped a bit when the vampire healed the new wounds using his magical saliva. Really, it was the best saliva ever. And it tasted nice, too, she could really use a kiss--but, no. The two of them had an objective today, so she could hardly get the two of them distracted with something like THAT again. "I don't like cold water," she said with a shrug and sprung up. "Let me get myself presentable for the public eyes. "She rushed off to the bathroom and shut the door. Inside, she arranged her hair, made sure the bags under her eyes weren't particularly noticeable... Rinsed her mouth out with water for lack of anything else. And yes... Clothes. Though the pajamas could hardly be considered proper attire for malls and shops. Silvana returned momentarily, admiring Zadist in his current get-up. He was a bit like a dashing foreigner or movie star, with his good looks and sunglasses. Even the heavy jacket. Although Silvana thought he would be really hot outside with so many layers. Still, they probably protected him from more serious sunburns.

Zadist chuckled, eying her happily, before beckoning the female. "Come, lovely lady. Let's get you into some proper attire. Besides clothes and food, what else will you need here?" The vampire asked, donning the coat and slipping the eye glasses into place before making his way to his eclipse. In the daylight, it was noticable that the windows were tinted amazingly dark.
"And I thought we'd go through a drive through food place for you, before stopping for clothes. Sound okay?"

Silvana practically pranced after the man. She looked incredibly stupid next to him; so nerdy and cutesy while he was charming and cool. But she was more or less oblivious to the fact, because amongst all the gorgeous model-esque women of the world, Zadist liked her. Her personality could intrigue him, while all others' bored him to no end. She eased into the passenger seat of the car, lifting the Devdas CD. "Can we maybe..." She glanced at the vampire with a suggestive grin. "...Put it in the CD player?" And her stomach growled just a tad, signaling she needed some sort of sustenance. Maybe a breakfast burrito with eggs and potatoes? It sounded delicious to her. "Food sounds good, actually," Silvana agreed. "I'm in the mood for a breakfast burrito." She squinted at the extremely tinted Eclipse windows. "And I'll prolly need things like... A toothbrush and paste, deodorant, girl shampoo and conditioner..." The girl thought for a bit longer. "Probably other toiletries, just to keep myself nice and pretty." The nineteen-year-old grinned at the vampire.

Zadist had obiediantly bent, taking out the current Hollywood Undead cd in the player, putting it away quickly and nodding to it, signaling that Silvana was good to go. As she listed off more items, the vampire looked at her in disbelief, before shrugging and shaking his head, backing out of the garage. "Alright, laska. Where are these breakfast burrito thingies? You seem nice and chipper, now that you are awake..." The vampire, on the other hand, seemed the opposite, scowling as they came outside of the parking garage. Though it was almost pitch black in the car, the vampire was squinting behind his sunglasses, mumbling curses about the sun.

Silvana popped in the CD, but kept the volume at a manageable level, if only to make conversation audible. She confessed though, hearing the first song made her heart leap with joy. And she may or may not have started bobbing her head and tapping her fingers before answering the male's question. "Oh, it's uhm... Mexican food. So if you can find a cheap Mexican..Drive-through... That works?" She glanced at Zadist, noticing how he cursed the daylight under his breath. She expected him to be hissing at the sky shortly. And there was no reason for the girl to be anything but cheerful, considering how she had triumphed over the vampire's desire to leave her for good... She had even managed to convince him that he needed her to live with him or he'd be lonely, and go into the daytime (despite his apparent loathing for it) in order to buy her clothing and other...Necessities. Food. Cosmetic some-such. Other presents. My, she had a curious power over the vampire serial killer... "I am quite happy, thanks," Silvana replied with a bright smile. "But it must be because I am with you."

The vampire tossed her an unreadable look from behind the glasses before facing forward again with a sigh. "You're a stupid human, you know that?" To soften his words, he reached over, holding the female's hand, not letting go even as he stopped at Taco Bueno. He placed the order, also getting his mate a large doctor pepper and a sandwich of some kind. It looked fancy, so he'd thought she may like it. The bag and cup were handed over quickly, before Zadist began moving again.
The car stopped shortly in front of a high class clothing store, Zadist eying the place with disdain. His mother and Cynn shopped here. Horrible place, with all those dresses and things. Blech. "Let me know when you are done so we can get inside. Quickly." The vampire muttered, before continuing his curses.

Silvana snorted at the name of the restaurant. Taco Bueno. The Good Taco. It was such an awkward sounding name. The female laughed for a bit, under her breath. But it must have confused the vampire a bit. She felt a little sad at the stupid comment, when it was uttered... Not for long. Zadist held her hand and she gave it a squeeze in return. Her mood reversed back into sunny cheerfulness. And, before she could say... Haha... Taco Bueno, otra vez, she had a paper bag in her lap and a large drink. She sipped nonchalantly from her cup through the straw, pleased by the soda, and by the burrito when she bit into it. There was also a sandwich, with meat. But since Zadist had ordered it for her, hoping she'd enjoy it... Well, Silvana decided to eat it too. If only to make him happy. Starting at lunchtime, though, she would become vegetarian for good!
After finishing the remainder of her fairly large breakfast, and at least half of her huge drink, Silvana nodded at Zadist. "Okay, we can go in! Hey--you don't look very happy about this place. Is there something wrong with it?" She glanced at the clothing shop. It appeared high-end... More mainstream than the typical clothing stores she visited. She preferred second hand stores and vintage-styled indie clothing shops, either online or at the mall. And she wondered if she would find anything to her liking in this place, unless she mixed and matched items in ways the store clerks would not expect... In the dressing room. Silvana smirked. That was always fun...

The male glanced over at her, shrugging. "They know us Dvoraks well. They'll take good care of you. C'mon." The male slipped from the car, quickly making his way into the store. Though he wouldn't truly burst into flames, he burnt far too easily, and even with the layers, he was gritting his teeth by the time her got inside. The store was large, clearly upscale. Right away, a female bustled towards them, smiling.
Automatically latching unto the female, though she sent Silvana a strange look after viewing the pajamas, she began dragging her through the store, showing off various 'fashionable' items, finally asking her what she liked.

As the woman ushered her along, every time she was not looking, Silvana grabbed something unusual off of the clothing racks. The store clerk would glance back at the grinning girl, to find she an extra article of clothing slung in her arms. None of them were things she had suggested; no items that in themselves were "IN" that season. And they were certainly not things that any of the Dvoraks would have selected themselves--particularly not Zadist's terrifying mother, the vampiric Queen Bee. Silvana's selections fell more along the lines of eye-catchingly bright red-orange sundresses, tunics with weird patchwork birds on them, Kaleidoscope patterns, abstract art prints, and vintage designs. By the time Silvana had a laundry-sized load in her arms, the clerk was clearly on her last nerve. "So it seems... You already know what you want." Silvana nodded energetically, edging towards the dressing rooms.

The clerk nodded her admittance into the dressing rooms, before moving off to find Zadist, beretting him, telling him his mother would not condone those dresses, that he hadn't even know they carried them. The vampire simply grinned in reply, moving towards the dressing rooms. "Let me see them." Zadist pleaded, leaning against a clothing rack as he waited.
