Rather than answer, Silvana grasped the curtain and drew it aside quickly to reveal the electric red-orange sun dress with fabric circle wheels along the bottom of the skirt. "TADAAA!" she cried with a giggle. "This is dress number one. There are about five of them I really like. Four more to go. So, Z, is this a yay or a nay?" The woman gave a little spin in the dress, looking for all the world like the extremely happy adolescent that she generally was--with her eccentric tastes and bright colors. So the store clerk totally hated her fashion sense... So what? If Lillith was not going to buy this sort of dress, Silvana sure as hell was!

Zadist grinned and shook his head, "Don't ask me. Do you like it? If you do, put it on the card." He chuckled once more, unable to tear his eyes away from the clerk, fighting the urge to laugh at the look on the woman's face. "We can stay here all day. You've turned it into my favorite store, laska..." |
Silvana most definitely liked every one of the five dresses she had predicted. And so she changed back into the abhorrent pajamas, moving to the cashier. She slapped the garments down on the counter with a triumphant grin, which she paid the disgruntled store clerk--almost saying aloud, 'WHAT NOW, BEEYATCH?!' Silvana restrained herself, however, beaming at Zadist (who seemed to be fighting down a fit of laughter). It made the college girl happy, to say the least, to see him enjoying her antics. Where would they stop next? Shoes? More casual clothing? A Walgreens? Silvana doubted they would be grocery shopping so soon. Five dresses would hardly compensate for the enormous stash of pieces in her bedroom back home. Many of which, she was deciding, were not appropriate for dates with high-class, wealthy vampires anyway.

After the purchase, which Zadist carried dutifully to the car, he slid into the front seat with a tiny sigh. "Damn. Two more clothing stores, then the largest shoe store we-there is here. Uh. Then we have designer accesories. They should have your girlie junk too. And then, hopefully that's it. |
"I'm sorry to inconvenience you," Silvana said, folding her hands carefully in her lap as soon as they made it back to the car. She felt a bit bad about dragging the vampire male around with her to shop in the daytime, even if he'd been the one to suggest it. Didn't men dislike shopping with a passion. "Don't you hate shopping? Most guys do. We don't need to do all of that. Just some shoes and a Victoria's Secret would work. Or even JC Penney's. That's the simplest choice." She hardly wanted the man to spend a fortune on her, especially if he planned on getting her a car later. That was plenty enough without spending a couple thousand on outfits.

Zadist glanced at her once more, frowning. "I'm...making this hard on you, huh? Taking away the fun? No, I don't hate shopping...just hate the sun, is all. A lot of these stores are open at night, secretly, of course, but I thought you'd like to go with, uh, other humans around." He gave a tiny shrug. "Where do you wish to go, then?" |
Silvana mulled over the vampire's words, chewing on her lower lip indecisively. She was not altogether sure what she wanted. She needed at least one pair of pants, some t-shirts... Lounge clothing. Socks. Shoes. And of course, undergarments, which she had none. It ashamed her to be going to places, knowing that beneath the pajamas she had... Absolutely nothing. Silvana felt exposed, and her face may have flushed mysteriously as she contemplated it. "Uhm, I think I need underwear and stuff," she mumbled. "And casual stuff. So I guess a department store would have all of those things, including shoes. Then we can spend more time inside and out of the sun, which is good for you.... Right?" Silvana paused to sing along with the current Devdas track playing in the car.

Zadist hesitated, staring at Silvana. After a few moments, he licked his lips, glancing away and feeling inadequate. "Silvana. Where's a 'department store'?" |
Seriously? It seemed, from the expression on Zadist's face, that he neither knew what a department store was, or where to find one. His family had never shopped, apparently, someplace so reasonably priced and so the man was lost for words. Silvana stifled a childish giggle, swallowing it down before she could make the man feel... Well, idiotic. For not knowing. Rich people were interesting, to say the least. "Take Main for about ten minutes," Silvana replied with a grin, "Then turn right on Cherry. About half a mile down is a mall, called South Point. It's an indoor mall. Lots of stores. But on the ends, there are superstores... Called department stores. They are basically combinations of most things--furniture, patio items, children's clothing, shoes, underwear, perfume... Really convenient, and especially good for you."

Zadist nodded, throwing her a relieved look. How strange, that this female's opinion meant so much to him....He moved quickly, and soon, their car was pulling into the parking spaces. Zadist was watching the cars passing, and threw the female a tiny glare. "There is...a lot of people here, Silvana...You sure this is an okay idea?" |
Silvana nodded. "Yes... There are a lot of people here. Are you worried?" the girl said, unbuckling her seat belt and leaning towards the vampire. She teased his lips will hers in a gentle, reassuring peck. "I'll be with you the whole time. You look handsome. We can hold hands. We'll look just like a regular couple and no one will look at you except to envy me." Silvana grinned and giggled, laughing at herself. Laughing at how thrilled she would be to walk around with him in public--in broad daylight! Well, except indoors... "If you think you'll be okay, though," she added quickly. "I don't want to force you to go somewhere where you'll be uncomfortable."

The male seemed a bit taken about by the kiss, and glanced out the window, dazed, before looking back to his female. "No, I'll be fine...Let's go." He slipped outside, gritting his teeth while waiting for Silvana, his hands currently tucked deep into his pockets. |
Silvana ran from the car, grasping the vampire lightly by a sleeve to trot with her, up the stairs to the entrance of the mall, and ultimately the department store. Luckily, they had not parked too far off, so Zadist only had to brave the sunlight for about forty seconds or less. Silvana opened the door for him. A cool blast hit them, from the air conditioners. Malls were always kept pleasant temperatures, and she was sure with all the comfortable layers the vampire would be grateful about it. Once inside, Silvana laced her fingers between his, holding his hand and tugging him towards the ladies' undergarment section... Which was, of course, the girl's most pressing issue at the moment. Silvana would not rest until she was wearing a bra and some sort of bottom underneath her clothing!

Zadist grinned broadly when he saw where they were heading, and he began eying Silvana rather openly. "Let me pick some for you, laska....please oh please???" |
Silvana laughed as they stopped in front of a rather large section that also included nightgowns and night slips, as well as lingerie and undergarments. He was such a typical male, wasn't he? "Have at it," Silvana said, shaking her head with another giggle. "But you know, I have the power to say no if it's too embarrassing for me to wear! Or uncomfortable." She was hardly going to look like a drag queen or Wild West brothel girl, so the vampire could forget about that.

It was unsure if Zadist had heard her, for as soon as she'd given her blessing, he'd darted off. The male was like a hurricane, and finally brought an armful to Silvana, removing his sunglasses and grinning sheepishly. Mostly everything in his arms were boy shorts, as well as various sports bras, most of them in solid colors, though a few had stripes. Holding up a dark blue pair, Zadist wiggled it at the female. "You gonna model for me?" |
Silvana was definitely surprised at Zadist's choices. It seemed her tomboyish, innocent first night with him had made quite an impression on his psyche. She glanced around to make sure no one was watching them. In these sort of department stores, a person could walk into the dressing room by themselves without any sort of attendant, so why not? He's still have to be outside, but at least he could see when she tried them. "Okay," Silvana sighed. "The dressing rooms are over there. C'mon."

Zadist nodded, leading the way. He waited until Silvana was in the dressing room before grinning mischievously, glancing around. When he spotted no one, he slipped inside after her, once more lifting the blue ones. "These first..." He whispered, his emerald eyes sparkling with laughter. |
Silvana giggled a bit as the man pushed into the dressing room with her. There had been instances where she and her mom shared the same stall, but something told her that it was against the rules for a guy and a girl to be in the same one. Those rules were put in place, she thought, for very good reasons. They prevented more dramatic things from happening in public and freaking everyone else in the store out. But, since the dressing room seemed more or less abandoned, for the moment. Silvana saw no reason why it would be a problem. Just as long as Zadist didn't get so excited by the clothes that he tried something. Silvana took the blue set from him, unbuttoning her pajamas. She blushed a little, thinking to herself how easily they came off in front of him now, without a shred of shame. Afterward, she put on the boyshorts.

The vampire had watched raptly, licking his lips as Silvana slipped the panties he'd selected on. Noting the slightly blush gracing her features, the male lifted her head, dipping his own to kiss her gently, though still insistently. "How am I so lucky? How is it that I have something like you, Silvana?" |
Silvana wound her arms around the vampire neck, reciprocating the kiss a bit. She was disappointed when he drew back. But he made up for it by what he said to her. She beamed as bright as the sun he hated, and hugged him tightly. "I dunno why you like me so much," she said with a laugh. "I'm scrawny and short. You could have Megan Fox if you wanted." Silvana did not know if Zadist would bother with Megan Fox, but after seeing him, she probably would fall just like any other girl. The difference was that all those girls like Zadist for his looks. They did not know how interesting or weird he was, or how nice he was either. Underneath the raping and pillaging.

Zadist nuzzled her neck gently, shaking his head as he did so. "I've already told you why you facinate me. As for me. What I've done to you. What I've done to other humans. You know if you weren't at that dinner, Phayte and I would have ended up fighting for the most blood from that male. I honestly don't understand...." He released her reluctantly, stepping back and sighing. " I should step out, before something ends up happening in here." HIs eyes twinkled again, challenging Silvana somewhat. |
"Well... I guess I can be you muse to... Be a teeny bit nicer again?" Silvana laughed again, happily. She knew that he needed blood. And it was inevitable that she would dislike watching her own kind being murdered in front of her. She brushed back the man's hair gently to reassure. "I don't blame you for your needs, so don't blame yourself." But, Zadist had a point. If he stayed in the stall much longer with her, watching her change and unchange... Who knows. "Annnd, how about I try on some of this other stuff you picked for me by myself, and I can show you at home later?" The girl grinned, ushering the vampire out of the stall gently.

"Hmph." Was Zadist's only response to Silvana. Locating a bench outside of the dressing rooms, the male leaned back against the wall, folding his arms over his chest, soon fast asleep, waiting for the female to finish her shopping. |
Silvana tried on a couple more of the things Zadist had selected for her, then snuck out past him to look at the very cute, girly undergarments, from which she choose some with bright colored stripes and polka dots. So she had a healthy mix of tomboy casual and girly cutesy things. She also grabbed a nightgown, which was a pale yellow and had a bow on the front, which fell just above her knees and had a sort of frill along the hem. She thought it was cute, anyway. Once back into pajamas, she poked the vampire lightly in the side. "We can move to the shoe section now," she said.
