"Oh...i've been a slave for 16 years" Kuro said as she looked at Drake "Hey, Drake....why do i have to have these damn chains on?! why does no one else have them on?!" she asked. She looked at Nala and smiled "Yeah, im Kuro"

Derek tilted his head, thinking about the age. "I think, he'll turn 22 in a few days." he answered, nodding in confirmation. Then he realized she called him master, he shook his head. "Er, I don't think he'd want you to call him master. Call him sir, or just Alex." he said.

"I am so sorry for being rude of talking when you are talking to your friend I am so sorry I heard that Nina got sold and Katie as well it is a shame I liked them both I hope a new master comes in soon it might be fun what you think?" She looked at her with her doll eyes.

Tabitha stared at him from a moment before laughing slightly. “I’ll have to decide which is better to call him then. Since he is younger then me.” She mumbled the last part. It was going to take some getting use to if she was the only women around the house.
Damon look at Nala. “Yes I am Damon.” He had a hand resting on his chest where the slashes are. |
Derek's ear twitched somewhat, since it wasn't very hard not to hear for him. He looked at her curiously. "How old are you?" he questioned tilting his head. "You don't seem much older than him. Or me for that matter." he added, getting some sheets from the closet in the room for her. Glancing at the time he frowned somewhat. The others should have been back by now. Unless they're here and just went to bed.

"It isn't that simple, Katie. Yes i have a duty to do but you have Onyeen with you and you will be safe with out me for a little while, while i make sure that Lyna is going to be okay. She had no one here, so the least i can do is make sure that she is going to be safe for once." Hotaru said to Katie as he looked kindly down to her, he ran a hand through his blood red hair before he landed his eyes on Lyna, she just nodded her head to the handler that said good by to her, it seemed like she was very afraid of what was going on. He sighed heavily before he took another ciggerate out to smoke.

Tabitha looked down. She hadn’t realized at some point she had crossed her ankles had her hands laying one on top of the other on her lap. “I’m 23, I’ll be 24 in a little over a month.” She looked back up watching him.

Nala looked at Damon and saw marks on him "oh my god What happen to you Sir Damon are you alright?" Nala was worried about him and the other slaves as well.

Katie sighed and gave Hotaru a hug."Okay, then keep Lyna safe and make sure she has a good home." She said, putting he key in her pocket." I guess i'll see you someday.." She said, kissing his cheek."Thanks for everything Hotaru."

I feel so inadequate LOL) Gabriel smiled although he really was intensely frustrated with such a deal being made right in front of him, but there was no reason to waste his energy spilling blood in here. He had gotten the companion he was hoping to gain although he wasn't sure that she would be much different the all the other personalities he had around the house. He had been hoping to gain a friend but only time would tell if Lyna would open up to him and become one. Life was cruel in such ways at times but, his hand had been dealt and now it was time to move forward. He saw Lyna standing behind him looking as if she was still enslaved in this place and it rubbed him in a bad way. So he walked back to her hand raised her chin so that she was looking up instead of at the floor, "Don't act like you're trash because you're not. I've released you from this shackle of a home so at least seem happy." He had been gentle in the way that he handled her, she was... delicate. |
Derek blinked and chuckled. "Well then." he offered her a bow in somewhat respect. "You're almost three years younger than me, and two years older than Alex." he said, sounding amused. "Janice should be your age I think, if not a year or so younger." he said, thinking about it. "Oh.. Janice is a maid around here. More like a housekeeper." he said, having muttered the last part. "I'm the doctor/butler." he added before tilting his head, thinking on what Tabitha could help with, if she was planning on staying.

"I am happy, thank you, Master." she said to hiim as a forced smile appeared onto her face, she was happy to be out of that place but she was still unsure about what type of home that she was going to. She kept her head up like he had placed it since he seemed to want her to hold her head high, but she still kept her eyes trainned on the ground. She didn't know if he wantted to be called master or not but she did so only because he didn't say not to call him that and drake was still infront of them and he could always take her to the back and punish her. Her scarred hands were callasped in front of her, no matter how much he wantted her to not act like a salve, she couldn't stop doing it since she was born and raised in slavery, it was her life and she never really knew anything outside of it.

The raven maned man shook his head slightly, "It's just Gabriel." He hated being called master as all of the other servants in the house had called him that even though he had tried to befriend them with little success. Quickly signing the papers he handed them back to Drake and then looked to Lyna making a hand gesture for her to come with him, her life here was over. He had paid 1,000 gold for her and he had no idea if he would get his money's worth in a true friendship, as he had no intention of making her a slave but he couldn't tell them that. All he had really wanted was a friend and even though you're not suppose be able to buy friends with money, he supposed that he would give it a try. Why not, all else up until now had failed.

"Alright.....Gabriel." Lyna said to him as she said his name for the first time that they had met each other, she turnned and followed him out of the shop, stopping out side the door as she closed her eyes and put a hand over them. Since it had been so long since she had seen the actually out doors with the real sun, her eyes were light sensitive at the moment, as they tried to adjust to the brightness of it, she squintted, still holding her hand over her eyes as she made her way forward, slowly as she tried to follow the man that had bought her.

Damon chuckled slightly. “I got these for pissing off Drake. I’ll be fine.” Speaking of his wounds he started to wonder how Tabitha was doing at her new home. She’s fine he told himself. Plus he needed to make new friends now that she was gone.
“I see. I know it’s a little late, but it’s nice to meet you.” Tabitha wondered if she’d see the Alex and the other servant before she finally passed out. Not that it mattered too much, but she felt bad that she caused a problem right after they arrived here. Her train of thought stopped when she felt a strong pain in her chest. She raised her hands to it, covering three faint marks that just appeared. Oh on, what’s happened to Damon. She knew it had to be him. Since she no longer had a strong connection with her family or old friends from before she was a slave. Her breath was a little ragged. Damn it, why now? Why couldn’t this happen when I was alone? She tried to act as normal as possible. |
She looked at him she was worried "I hope you are alright I don't want you to get hurt Damon try to get Drake mad that much." She said to him she was worried about him.

Derek's eyes went right to her chest, since that's where she covered. He looked concerned for the moment as he stepped over to her. "Tabby? What's wrong?" he asked, frowning somewhat. A second ago she was just fine, but now she was acting like she was in some sort of pain.

Putting on a smile for the woman as she finally said his name he grabbed her hand and lead her into the marketplace, "We've got to get some furnature for your room, so from here on, you can lead and pick. I'll follow and buy," he announced with a smirk. She would decorate her room as she saw fit and he would have everything delivered to the house by tomorrow or this afternoon.

Damon gave Nala a reassuring smile. “I’ll be fine, promise. I don’t annoy Drake often so there isn’t too much to worry about in the way of me getting hurt.”
Tabitha nodded. “I’m fine. The wound just started to ache some. I’m sure it’ll stop soon.” Slowly she calmed her breathing and laid her hands back in her lap. If only I had been there. I could have stopped him or took Drake’s attention away from him. Oh who am I kidding. If I had done that Drake would have surely killed me or at the very least left me broken. Two of the marks were under the bandage, but the third was above it making it visible. |
Nala looked at him and smiled as well "Alright Damon I hope we can be friends as well I like you. You are nice to me Damon and a good guy as well." She said to him and than she smiled a little bit. "Do you want me to leave so I can let you rest for a while?"

Derek nodded somewhat, still not reassured. "So, what's that wound then?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He was positive it hadn't been there earlier. It wasn't something he'd miss. Then he shook his head, figuring he'd let her keep her secret for a moment longer. "Never mind.. Let me know later on."
Alex knocked on the door somewhat before entering, a girl with dark blond hair following behind him with a few bags. "Knew you'd be here." he said before nodding at the girl. "Tabitha, Janice. She's got your clothes. In it you will find everything you might need, except, um.. The bras." he said, having sort of stumbled on the last word. It was a bit awkward for him to say that. "We didn't know what you were." |
Luke was walked into the slave house, when they were in they threw him into Kuro's cage and locked it. He looked up at Kuro and smiled "Hello" he said as he hugged her tight.
Kuro looked down at Luke and tilted her head "Umm...hello" she said as she tried to hug him but the chains stopped her. "Hey Drake...Why is he in my cage?!" she asked trying not to sound to mean. |
Lyna smiled a real smile for the first time in years as Gabriel grapbbed her hand and took her to the market place, she was on the vergue of tears as she listened to what he said to her, she couldn't believe that s9omeone, a master no less, was actually being kind to her. One thing was for sure, he was not like all the other masters that she had before she was sold again, she tucked some of her hair behind her ear as she followed the man. "Thank you.....for being so kind to me." She whispered to him, she wiped the tears out of her eyes, letting it drop to her side since they were now adjusted to the bright light of day time.

Drake sighed and dragged Luke out of the cage, throwing him into the one that used to be Katies. He looked over at Katie since she was still here. She came over and kneeled down in front of Lukas cage."Hello." She said,trying to know the new slave.

Gabriel simply smiled as he extended an arm out, "After you milady," he said calmly. The young man was surprised to have seen a real smile grace her lips and then some tears, it showed how much pain and trauma she had actually been through. He had only thought of this as a small gesture, but it apparently meant more to her than he would have originally imagined. Then he realized this was the first time he had gotten a good chance to look at her emerald eyes and he was slightly in awe. Then remembering, or forgetting if he remembered, to tell her something, "Oh and we should shop for your clothes as well," he added.
