Saya stopped and turned around "Yeah, some times i wish i was like you" she laughed "You dont feel sadness and Betrayal...and thats a good thing" She said. She walked a little closer to Seth and tilted her head "why would you have too visit your sister?" she asked

Rai laid down in the grass as Saya examined her work for the Halo Cup. Things were going nicely, considering they were doing it all in one day. Tomorrow, huh? she thought, wondering if she should compete. She didn't really have a reason to, though. She didn't think it was that necessary to go in and prove her strength, and if she wound up further up in a magic fight, she might actually just cause more problems. No wonder Shadow students don't do anything... she thought with her slight realization.

Saya called Seth over for a second opinion, and the end result sounded like Seth thought it was good. Saya sounded happy, and judging from Seth's words, she had probably hugged him. "No apologies necessary, from what I hear emotions are powerful," he said and mentioned that he didn't really want to go visit his sister alone.

"Ya, sometimes I wish I was like you," Saya responded with a laugh. "You don't feel sadness or betrayal...and that's a good thing." Rai ignored the last part of what she said, thinking on that. Not feeling any emotion...what would that feel like? Maybe it wouldn't be too bad....No. She stopped that thought immediately. She saw nothing good about having no emotion. Without emotion, her powers would be just a tool. She wouldn't get any pleasure or pain from it, sure, but as a result...as a result...many more people would be dead...I wouldn't be here....I would be just as horrible as they thought... No. Emotions were good for her. They kept her from being the same as those she despised. Certainly, she didn't know several emotions, but she knew sadness and betrayal...and guilt. And she was glad she did.

Seth laughed, "Aria and I always competed growing up. Things just kept escalating each time - the stakes became higher." Not wanting her emotions? Seth did not understand, he thought they liked them... "So, they way I see it - Aria and I only have one more way to up the stakes." Seth shrugged his shoulders. "Our lives are all we have left to increase the pay out."

"Thats a little...extreme..dont you think?" Saya asked, she didnt understand why Seth and his sister did that, she never fought with her brother and she never really met Kuro cause they were separated at birth. "i always thought you were suppose to love you brother or sister with all your heart...guess i was wrong" she said with a little laugh.

"Love - its so strange. Isn't it?" Seth laughed, "Well - thats how Aria and I do things... we only care for each other at convenience. The survivor of us two will be the one to move on as the next clan leader - or at least be that much closer. You still have to fight and kill the winners from the other two families." Seth smiled, "Aria and I will win against the other two families - at least that's what we hope. We want to bring pride to our house. This is the only way.... " Seth smiled again. "Hey, maybe you guys can come! If I win against Aria - you can come with me to my home!"

((LOL! And nahhhh not too much. It's fun! It's like when I'm super excited and bouncing around my mom's room driving her absolutely insane. >D And thanks! Rai sat up and opened her eyes, looking right at Seth. "Seth. Have you ever killed anyone?" she asked. He may be able to fight, but he didn't strike her as someone that had killed anybody.

"Yeah, it is" Saya said, she listened careful to Seth yet she still didnt understand, there was so may questions she wanted to ask Seth but it take a year for him to answer all her questions. "But if you dont win...you die?" she asked, she didnt want that to happen but if he did lose its not like she could bring him back to life...or could she? "Can i ask you something?"

Seth turned to Rai, "No Rai, I have not killed anyone. I have caused wounds to ensure my get away and things along those lines - but I have never taken a life." Seth smiled, "Yes - If Aria wills I will die. But it is okay - Im ready - and Im sure she would be able to defeat anyone who opposed our clan." Seth laughed and then smiled once more. "I know Aria could do it - I just have yet to be sure of myself."

"Oh," Seth turned back to Saya, "Sure - I like questions."

Rai looked down, a sadness creeping into her face. She figured as much. He had never killed. And even if he had, he wouldn't have experienced another person's death like she had. Even if she said anything and tried to explain, he wouldn't understand. It was hard to explain... "Seth, if you intend on killing someone, just be prepared." It may sound natural on its own, but to see someone standing and have them around and then suddenly see them...lifeless....and know it was by your hand... she added on in her mind.

[technically he killed Ui~~ but she came back so im not sure....]

((I think since she didn't actually die and healed up before death, it wasn't actually killing her...=/ The mental world is separate from the real...))

Saya frowned and looked at the ground, suddenly she had a flash back of the day she was killed. a few tears ran down her face but she quickly wipped them away before any one could see. she forced a smile on her face as she looked at Seth "Well...Jake is going to help me with my shifting power and i was wondering if you could help me figure out what other powers i have"

Seth looked at Rai and then back at Saya. "How can I help you discover your powers?" Seth smiled. He did not say it aloud, but he planned to lose. Seth only trained as hard as he could to pose a threat to his sister - to keep her motivated - to keep her moving forward. Yet, he had no intention to survive their final encounter, the things she can do for the clan are things he can barely dream of.

"So Saya, what do you need me to do?" Seth smiled sweetly again.

Aria stood at a distance watching her little brother associate with the others. "I feel so bored today," Aria mumbled to herself, "I think I want to play with my little brother..." Aria smiled and put out her right arm, it released a thin but powerful push.

"Lets play..." Aria smiled and laughed.

Seth turned his head when he sensed his sister, but was met with a push. It threw his body a large distance back - crushing his body into the shadow tower. "I can't..." Seth's body was in too much shock from the blow to react. He was at the mercy of a follow up attack, yet - he displayed a smile.

Saya looked at Aria and tilted her head, so that was his sister...she looked very powerful but looks could be deceiving. She let out a sigh and looked at Seth with worried eyes, she wanted to scream at Aria but wat good would that do? it would probably get her killed and she really didnt want to die...again.

Aria walked closer and raised her left arm, unleashing another push towards her brother. "Enjoy." Aria spoke with a sinister smile, laughing at the pain she was causing her brother. "What a fool you have been brother. Did you think that making friends would make you any stronger?" Aria laughed and looked at all the people in the area.

Rai reacted instantly, by a natural reflex worked into her system, as Seth was flown into the Shadow tower. She turned over, into a low crouch with one hand resting on the place where her fans were tied. They would require more force to pull them out, but they would still come loose with enough ease. As far as she was concerned, they were under attack and she was in need of defending herself.

Seth received the push - and got driven deeper into the towers thick wall. Seth fell out of the hole in the side of the building. "At least Im not stuck anymore..." Seth smiled, trying to catch his breathe. "They have nothing to do with the competition Aria. Just leave them alone, you can just focus on me here." Seth tried to wave everyone away with his hands - he hoped they understood what he was trying to signify with them.

Aria watched one of them react, most likely an internal relfex. "Brother, so naive." Aria blasted Seth back into the wall, watching him fall to his knees. "If I was going to kill them." Aria smiled, "They would be dead already." Aria laughed, brushing the hair out of her eyes.

"Just like you, brother." Aria walked even closer, now standing above her fallen brother. "I can kill you whenver I want too." Aria pointed her right arm at her brothers back, unleashing another push.
