Monty hadn't noticed the inching forward the first couple of times. But once he did, he just watched for a while until he was surely cuddling against him. In which case, he gently and slowly wrapped his arms back around him and just held him.

Léan slept nicely. When he finally woke up, it was because his stomach was beginning to grumble and he needed food. He yawned softly, stretching his tail all the way out.

Archie would have been lying if he'd said he'd been terrified to wake up curled up with Monty. He missed being close to someone else, cuddling, sleeping together on cold nights.

Emy woke up from he slightly disturbed sleep when he yawned. She blinked, then smiled slightly at him. "Have a nice nap?"

Monty did love holding him like this, for some reason it made him feel at peace. Which, soon led to him drifting to sleep.

"Quite..." Léan's voice had a hint of contentedness to it. "...I think it is about time we headed back. As alpha...I need to gather everyone together and work out jobs, and who will be doing what." It was something that had been nagging at his mind for a while. An alpha was much like a business leader.

When Archie did wake up, he only shifted to yawn softly, and stayed firmly in place. He didn't know why he had no desire to move.

Emy smiled softly and kissed him a little. "Ok...we can go back if you wish." She stretched slightly, still thinking about her slightly disturbing dream though.

Monty was actually asleep longer than Archie had been, cuddling against him in his sleep. He could look quite adorable when asleep.

Léan had no trouble reacting to the kiss, and he smiled as well. "All right..." He stretched himself out more, and then pushed up off the ground, ready to go.

Archie stayed put, intent on resting as long as he possibly could. He was under the impression that this might simply be a one-time thing, for comfort. But could develop into more.

Emy smiled slightly and slowly rose to meet him, gently taking his hand. "Ok...come on.." She gently started to lead them off.

Monty soon woke, blinked slightly. As soon as he saw Archie he smiled a little. Then he looked around and slowly moved back slightly. "Sorry for that..."

Léan followed, but made sure he didn't look subordinate to her. Females could be be powerful alphas, as well. It was simply instinct speaking. He didn't even realize he was moving in that manner.

Archie followed him backwards, staying cuddled up. It was a small sign to say that that was okay. He paused, and then perked up slightly. "My brother's coming back," he noted, listening.

Emy wasn't trying to take control or anything, she was just thinking and didn't notice what she was doing.

Monty was relieved he didn't mind, but then stiffened slightly. "Ok...what do you think he will think about...this?" He meant them being so close.

Léan could see the rocks coming into view. It would be a few minutes before they fully reached the 'den site,' as it was commonly called among nomads.

Archie chewed his lip. "He's...a little overprotective of me..." he confirmed, softly. "He won't react well..."

Emy was still deep in thought, not really knowing where she was going, but it was sort of a sensing thing. She could've ran into a rock without even knowing it was there.

Monty thought for a moment, then shrugged slightly. "If he wants to start something, than he can."

Léan scanned the rocks for his brother. Monty seemed to be absent, as well. Something about that made him very nervous.

Archie bit his lip even more. "...I think he wants to talk to everyone at once. Maybe we should go up..." he suggested, trying to play up for a happy medium.

Emy looked at Leandre once she sensed his nervousness. "What's wrong?"

Monty sighed softly, then nodded a little. "Better than making him look for us, I guess..." He moved slightly and gently pulled him out after him.

"It's just--never mind." Léan looked relieved when he sighted the two of them rising up from the rocks...very relieved. He had been beginning to worry that something had happened, and someone had gotten hurt.

Archie peeked up over the rocks and smiled when he saw his brother and his mate.

Emy nodded slightly, then looked confused when she saw the two rising from the rocks together.

Monty looked over them and grinned slightly. He knew now what'd happened to those two. It seemed to click right into place.

Léan laid himself out on the rocks. "I thought we should work out jobs, if we're all going to stick together," he murmured, curiously.

"I...don't know what I can do. Maybe collect sea plants to eat," Archie offered, tilting his head. He hated hunting.

Monty thought for a moment, then grinned. "Well, I could tell half of us don't like hunting. So, I propose that Lean and I do the hunting. Or we could take turns. Then Emy and Archie here...hmm...what do you two know how to do?"

Léan playfully muttered something that sounded suspiciously like 'run away like a coward, directed at his brother. He lifted his head slightly, waiting to hear what they had to say.

"I can gather sea plants. I guess I could take a look around the area, too...I'm quick enough that if I see something bad, I can get back here in a timely manner..." Archie mused.

Monty's eyes lit for a moment, then smiled a little at Archie. "That sounds like a scout." Then he looked at Emy. "What about you?" Emy blushed slightly, looking down a little. "I'm not really good at anything..."

Léan shrugged, attempting to think. Hunting and scouting was taken care of. "Why don't we put you in charge of keeping everything in order right here, at our resting-place?" he asked, idly. It wasn't much work...most maintenance, possibly chasing out invading animals.

Emy peaked up over at him, thinking maybe there could be a little more she could do. Then she shrugged slightly and flicked her tail idly. "I guess..."

Léan was still running through possibilities in his mind. She was the alpha's mate, so that came with another responsibility, if she wanted it. It was still far too soon, however, in Léan's mind.

Archie started to think, too, trying to decide if there was anything else she could do.

Emy soon got a little frustrated, flicking her tail in response for it. "Ok. I'll keep the place in order while everyone's out." She flicked her tail again and moved away from them a little bit. A little angry and frustrated at the same time.

Monty blinked slightly, then sighed. "Looks like this is going to be difficult." He thought for a moment, then grinned. "How about this....I can teach you to make weapons."

Léan shrugged. He didn't mind. He usually kept some kind of weapon on him in case there was danger, but when he hunted, he rarely used them. He was an odd merperson, in that sense. He seemed like he didn't want to deal with any kind of drama at the moment unless it compromised the safety of someone he cared about.

Archie stretched his arms out, yawning again.

Emy looked back at Monty, then at the other two. "Fine. I'll do whatever you want me to." She then swam off a little bit, just sort of wondering, but not going too far, not really knowing where the bounderies were.
