Emy smiled a little at him, then closed her eyes, resting against him. "Hun...are you alright?" She felt something was bothering him, but she knew he wasn't angry or anything.
Monty shrugged slightly. "A little...cautious. Somewhat angry, but I'm alright." |
"I'm...fine. I...well...you know I've been nomadic almost all of my life. It...it's hard for me to stay in one place for too long, even though it's much safer to make claims on territory this way."
"Oh. Maybe you should relax a while," Archie suggested, sounding pleased. |
Emy nodded slightly, nuzzling his chest affectionately. "I can understand that it will take getting used to. I'll do my very best to help you." She looked up at him with a small confident smile.
Monty grinned slightly and moved close to him, wrapping his arms loosely around him. "How about this?" |
Léan nodded, placing his confidence in her. "All right...I suppose I can try, but...it may not be enough. I guess we will have to talk this over with everyone."
Archie's cheeks colored a light pink, just slightly. "That's okay..." |
Emy smiled happily and gently kissed his cheek. She was so happy that he would believe in her like he did. "Alright. We'll talk to them later."
Monty smiled and just relaxed as he held onto him. |
"That sounds good to me." Léan wrapped his arms loosely around her waist, and held her close. His eyes were soft, and apologetic for how he had acted earlier.
Archie smiled, snuggling in and relaxing. |
Emy knew what the look in his eyes was for, then just smiled back at him. She just relaxed against him. She could understand why he reacted the way he did, and understood that it wasn't exactly his fault that it was that severe.
Monty grinned and nuzzled him slightly. |
Léan was overjoyed that she fully forgave him. He settled down where he was, in the coral, and shifted until he was comfortable. He was ready to rest.
Archie unconsciously shifted a little closer, eyes closing to enjoy the touch. |
Emy smiled resting against him. He really seemed to be back to himself, which made her happy. She suddenly felt exhausted all of a sudden.
Monty smiled and nuzzled against him some more before completely relaxing. |
Léan yawned quietly, then nestled his head into the crook of her neck, curling up with her tightly so they could share warmth--the water was starting to grow chilly as the sun overhead set.
Archie had a smile on his face. He rested against him, absently. |
Emy did feel very comforted and warm with him so close. She soon fell asleep, breathing softly and peacefully.
Monty quietly rested, noticing the water's change. He wondered if they should move to the larger cave, or if they should just stay there. |
Léan followed her soon after, sleeping peacefully.
Archie snuggled closer to Monty, feeling the chill of the water immediately. "...Maybe...we should move somewhere warmer...?" |
Emy smiled in her sleep, nuzzling slightly against Lean.
Monty looked at him for a moment, then nodded slightly. "If you wish." Then he gently pulled him close and sort of carried him to the cave. |
Archie smiled, hesitantly resting his head against Monty's chest. He was generally good at getting along with others...but it was hard for him to form attractions easily--he had a wall up when it came to attraction.

Monty smiled softly down at him, then slowly entered the cave. He moved to the back a little and settled against the floor. "Would you like me to stay?"

"Sure...I'm not gonna chase you out, after all..." Archie reminded him, tilting his head slightly. He had gooseflesh from the chilliness of the water.

Monty grinned and nuzzled against him gently, holding him close. "Stay close...I'll keep you warm."

"Okay..." Archie heard no kind of ulterior motives in his words, though there probably were, in a sense. So, he curled up closer to him, welcoming the contact and the warmth it brought.

Monty stayed where he was, curling his tail around him slowly. "Sleep well..."
|
Archie was aware that any sort of embrace with the tail was solely between close family members and mates, but he brushed it off, since he was so comfortable. "You, too..." He closed his eyes, to rest for now. He wasn't quite ready to drift off.

Monty hadn't really known what he did, but didn't notice it either. He was comfortable, and happy where he was.

Archie finally fell asleep, after a minute or so of simply laying in Monty's arms. He was far too comfortable to protest.

Monty watched him sleep for awhile, before falling asleep himself.

Léan woke up hearing some odd sounds about an hour later. His tail flicked around nervously, before he relaxed--it had been a nearby fish gobbling up some smaller fish.
Archie woke up before Monty. He had snuggled closer to him during their nap, but didn't quite mind that. It was darker outside than it was normally--nighttime had arrived. |
Emy moved slightly, but didn't wake when Lean woke. She just kept sleeping peacefully.
Monty nuzzled against Archie, smiling a little against him. |
