"There are eels. There's also this really pretty spiky brown and white fish..." He was probably referring to a lion fish. "I guess those are my two..." Archie decided, nodding. "You pick one or two more..."

Monty blinked slightly. "I can't very well pick any if I don't know what lives around here, now can I?" He said softly. He didn't mean it in a rude way.

Archie blinked, tilting his head. "You could always pick something random, and we'll just have to search around and see if we can find it," he reminded him, pleasantly.

Monty chuckled softly. "That's true. Now, does a shark count as a fish?"
|
"Yeah, it's a fish. It doesn't breathe air," Archie assured him, grinning. "We can look for a shark..." he gulped, "...as long as it doesn't try to harm us..."

Monty shook his head slightly. "It won't try to. It's just curiosity that makes them bite. That's how they identiry things....they don't mean to hurt people." Then he gently kissed his forehead. "Besides. I told you I'd protect you."

Archie purred softly, cuddling up against him. "Okay...how about plants? What plants do you want to look for?" he asked, curiously.

Monty smiled and held him close, thinking. "Have you ever seen golden coral?"

Archie tilted his head slightly. "...Not around here. But, we can certainly look! I think we should also look for a kelp forest. Kelp is tasty!"
|
Monty swished his tail back and forth for a moment. "I do like kelp..." He mused.
|
Archie was completely unaware that kelp, when used right and in copious amounts, could be used as an aphrodisiac. He just saw it as a sweet snack. "...Should we just stick with that for now?" he asked, pleased.

Monty smiled and nodded. "Should we play now?"
|
"Yeah!" Archie seemed quite excited. He shot up out of his seat, swimming in small, rapid circles. "Where to, first?"
|
Monty slowly rose from his place and watched him with amusment. "Well, whatever you want to look for first."
|
Archie paused, brow furrowing as he thought for a moment. "...Maybe we should look for kelp first," he decided, cheerily. "We can get a bunch of it and snack on it while we look around."

Monty smiled and nodded. "Alright then." He stretched and looked around. "How about that way first?"
|
Archie sniffed slightly, then nodded. "All right! Let's try going that way, first...maybe there's a kelp forest somewhere around here!"
|
Monty chuckled softly and swam off, but made sure that Archie stayed close.

Archie stayed close to Monty, not wanting to wander too far off. They searched for quite a while...and finally, their search paid off. The telltale signs of a kelp forest were in the water around them--broken-off branches of kelp, and an increase in small fish.

Monty got a little excited when they saw signs of the kelp. He looked around almost frantically now for the kelp. He was really into this game now.

Archie did as well, sniffing slightly to see if he could smell it. When he finally caught sight of it, he pointed out towards the distance, a big smile on his face. "There!" The kelp forest was big, and made the water around it kind of dark.

Monty blinked slightly, it was alot bigger than he thought it'd be. "Wow. I can't believe we have that much."

Archie began to dip in and out of the great mass of kelp, barely escaping becoming ensnared several times. Finally, his daring nature got the best of him, and he suddenly became entangled in the mass of kelp. He whined, swishing his tail around rather frantically. It was adorable to see him so flustered.

Monty watched him for a moment, then couldn't help but chuckle when he became ensnared. "Just a sec." He moved down to him and gently untagled his tail from the kelp.

Archie sighed, floating out of the forest and clinging to Monty slightly. He was glad he'd helped him out. He didn't want to stay stuck forever, after all.
