Elsie walked quietly down the halls of the school. She was tired and bored. She had transfered her from europe and was somewhat excited. She hoped that no one would talk to her or ask her to many questions. She was not a big talker or someone who hung out with others to much. She looked at the map of the school.

"THe library should be right here." She said turning into the nearest door. SHe frowned. This was not the library. She looked back at the map stepping into the hallway and turning it tryign to figure out what it was telling her.

"Yeah I know....Alright I'll see you later then.."Kaden said as he waved goodbye to one of his many friends.Kaden took the few books he needed from his locker and slung the bag over his shoulder.It only a few hours into the school day and he was already tired out.Kaden yawned and stretched out his arms as he walked through the school halls.Kaden got a couple hellos and his as he passed through the halls.He knew everyone in this school....well almost everyone.Kaden stopped in the hall when he saw a girl he had never seen nor spoke to before. "Is she new?"He whispered to himself.He shrugged and decided to approach the girl and see if she was.Kaden thought so since he could now see she was holding a map.Kaden slowly approached the girl and looked over her shoulder,down at the map."Whatcha looking for?"He asked.

Hearing a voice Elsie paused. She jumped and turned around. She blushed a bit and put her head down.

"I need to find the library. I am sorry you scared me."

She kept her face downward but looking up with her eyes she scanned him slowely. He seemed nice and he was definitly attractive.

Kaden chuckled."Sorry. I tend to do that alot....Anyway I know every inch of this school.I can take you to the library if you want."He said.Kaden didn't wait for the girls answer.He quickly took her hand and started to lead her down the hallway to the library."So whats your name? I've never seen you around the school before.."He said.

She blushed some more and kept her head lowered.

"I am Elsie but you can call me El. I just transfered her from europe. I do not know anyone or anything in this school."

She peeked at him with her head still lowered. He seems nice. I just hope hes not to nosy.

Kaden nodded."Well it's a pleasure to meet you El.You can call me Kaden...everyone does.I kind of figured you where new since you where holding a map of the school."He said with a chuckle.He looked down at her and saw that her head was lowered. She must be really shy......He thought.It took only a few minutes to get to the library.Kaden wondered what the teacher would say when he arrived at class late,although he really didn't care.Kaden might as well skip this period and head to lunch after that since 7 minutes of class was already done with.Kaden looked down at El then back at the library.'Well here ya go.It's kinda small but they have good books."He said.

She smiled at him and lifted her head up. She put out a hand to shake his hand.

"Thank you Kaden. I appreciate the help. I hope it was not an inconvienence."

She glanced around the library looking for the sections she enjoyed. They did seem to have a large selection and it seemed like it would be like fun. She did not have any classes for an hour so it would be fun to chill here for a while.

Kaden nodded."No problem.If you need anymore help just search around for me in the halls.I'm usually somewhere around here...."He said.Kaden watched as El walked into the library.He decided that he would just go outside and enjoy a nice breeze before lunch.Kaden didn't really feel like walking into class late and getting a "talking" from the teacher.He spun around and whistled as he walked down the school hall.

Elsie walked through the library and picked herself out three books. After she went to the librarian and got her books scanned she picked them up and walked out to the hallways. She decided to go see how nice it was outside. She opened the top book and began to read it.

Suddenly she felt the book ripped from her hands and backed up. A group of girls were standing around her laughing. She felt herself start to cry.

"What are you doing four eyes? Reading abook. What a loser."

Kaden walked through the hallway.His arms above his head.He knew that it was only a few steps away from being outside.He stopped when he heard noises coming from down teh hall.Kaden watched as a few girls pushed another girl,and ripping the book from her hands.Kaden quietly walked a few more steps and suddenly recognized the girl was actually El.Kaden shook his head and ran up to the girls.He quickly pushed through the them and grabbed the book from Ariel."What the hell! What is your issue! Get the fuck away!"He shouted with anger.What was it with girls or anyone and picking on the new kid.Kaden grabbed El's hand and pulled her outside.He definatly needed the fresh air.When he knew the other firls werent following he let go of El's hand and looked down at her face."Are you ok? Did they hurt you?"He asked with urgency.

Elsie looked up at him a moment. She felt her entire body go warm. She was still dazed by what had happened.

"Yes I am fine. They did not hurt me. I apologize for being so much trouble. I did not realize schools in this country were so different."

She restacked her books.

"I think my book got left behind. I need to go fetch it."

Kaden sighed in releif."Good.I'm glad I got there in time.Sorry your first day here had to be such a bad one.People in this school like to pick on new kids....."He said.Kaden watched as she restacked her books.She really must like reading....He thought. "Well if your going back in there so am I.I don't need anyone else picking on you."He said with a small chuckle.

Elsie smiled at him.

"Thank you for being so nice to me. I have never had people treat me well because...........well its not important. I must say it is nice for someone to include me though."

She smiled at him and took his hand kissing it. She let it go and headed back where she had come from looking on the floor for her book. She found it and picked it up. Her three books were titled: Werewolves for idiots, How to break the curse of a werewolf and Werewolves how to avoid transformation.

Kaden was a bit suprised as to why she kissed his hand. Must be something they do over....well where ever she livedKaden thought as he followed her back into the school.Kaden looked over her shoulder as she picked up her books and tilted his head some when he read the cover of the books. "So tell me this.........you seem to be quite fascinated with werewolves.Is it a hobby......or are you one?"He asked in a joking tone.He chuckled some."No but seriously why do you have so many books on werewolves?"He asked.

She smiled at him and laughed rubbing her hand on her right shoulder where she had a pawprint tattoo.

"me a werewolf? That is funny. I just happen to like werewolves is all."

She looked nervous for a moment and hid the books in her backpack quickly.

"So the weather was nice outside huh?"

Kaden watched as Els expression went from clam to completely nervous.He only nodded."Ok....well I suppose many people have a "thing" for mythical creatures....."He said.Kaden tilted his head some as she changed the subject quickly."Well yeah....I suppose so.It's quite chilly out there but I don't mind.I like the colder weather more than hot weather."He said.Kaden turned back towards the door and then glanced back at El."So would you like to come outside with me......or are you going to go back to the library?"He asked.

"I was actually on my way outside. I just got attacked on my way."

She smiled and then put her head back down. She was tired. She glanced at her watch. It was almost 3.00. She had her next class at 3.

"When is your next class starting?"

"Well my next class starts in about 10 minutes......maybe less. I have lunch though so it isn't really a class.I eat late...."He said.Kaden watched as she looked up at the clock.He looked up at the clock as well and smiled.School was almost over."Well if your going to head outside why don't you just come with me."He said taking her hand and leading her back outside.Kaden was always too impatient to wait for somones answer.If he thought it would be fun Kaden always dragged someone into it.He sat down under the large tree and patted the spot next to him."Come and sit.I was just going to relax until my last class was over so you can keep me company.I don't really care if you just want to read your books.I just enjoy the company."Kaden said with a smile.

She smiled at him.

"I would love nothing more than to keep you company. Tell me where do you live?"

She was curious about this boy. He seemed so nice and outgoing and this was so rare for her. She wondered if he had a girlfriend. She doubted it because if he did he would be hanging out with her instead of Elsie. Elsie did her best to look plain. If people knew her horrible secret they would never treat her so well.

Kaden laid his head on tree."Well I don't live that far from here actually.I live about.....13 or so blocks away.I ride my bike to school since it's more fun than getting spit balls on the back of your head and also I just like it better."he chuckled some at the thought of spit balls on the back of his head.Kaden turned to El with a soft smile."So....where do you live?"He asked

She frowned a moment and a shadow momentarily came upon her face.

"Well I live a bit farther but its not important."

She thought about it. She did not actually have an actual home. She lived rather in the woods close by. She lived in a cave on her own having just moved there. As a werewolf she had no one who was willing to give her a place to live.

"What kind of hobbys do you have?"

Kaden stared at her for a second as he watched her face sadden,although he didn't really know if she was actually saddened by that "home" subject since he changed the topic quickly. Kaden looked up at the sky."Well I do many things.I don't really have hobbies.I just do things randomly and if there fun I do them more often then other things.I suppose I like playing video games,watching movies,eating,sleeping,drawing....although I don't do that often,camping,....."He stopped and looked back at El."You get my drift don't you....I like many things..."He said with a chuckle. "What about you.....I see you like to read but what other things do you enjoy doing?"He asked
