[[I'm just coming in by describing the school and stuff, and then accidently running into someone else... ^_^]] Evelyn walked around the extraordinary school feeling overwhelmed and dazzled. It was without a doubt the most beautiful building she had ever seen in her whole life, or life[s] as she was beginning to suspect. The corridor lead her to a large, crafted door which lead to the gardens around the school. Outside was just as magnificent as inside, and Evelyn had to take in a deep breath to steady herself. There was too much to take in, but the best part that nobody was laughing at her or staring at her, or even watching her. That was strange... Something she would have to get used to. Evelyn stood in the doorway, feeling uneasy and out of place. Staring out, she tied to take it all in. |
Kathrin spun around in her chair, she was waiting for someone, anyone, to walk into the nurses office. She was bored like always, she absolutely hating being in a room with nothing to do. She was praying this year wouldn't be like last year, no one every got hurt last year so she was stuck in the nurse office with nothing to do for the whole year.
Kathrin stood up and stretched, she couldn't stay sitting for too long for some reason. She walked over to the door and put her hand on the door nob, she was planning on walking around the school for a little but she hadn't realized Evelyn was right outside so when she opened the door it slammed into her, hard. When Kathrin realized she had accidentally hurt Evelyn she gasped and kneeled down beside her "I'm so sorry! i didn't know you were there! are you okay?!" she |
"Ouhh" Evelyn whispered as she looked around slightly confused. One minute she was standing looking our across the gardens, the next she was on the floor with a throbbing head and sore elbows. Rubbing her head, Evelyn looked up and smiled at the pretty nurse.She genuinely looked upset to have nocked her over, so Eve decided that she didnt want to make the nurse worry or feel worse... "Im perfect!" she giggled and picked her hat off the floor and straightened it out. Placing the hat on her head, and sorting out the ribbons in her now ruffled hair, Evelyn looked back to the nurse. "I'm Evelyn. Im new here!" she smiled and then brushed off the dirt that had gotten onto her dress. Her posh accent made her sound out of place, but she tried to fight the urge to stop speaking; forcing herself to remember that everyone was accepted as equal in this school. |
Kathrin was a little surprised when she heard Evelyn say she was fine "A-are you sure? Do you want to lie down for a little?" she asked, hoping she would say yes to laying down. Her forehead was really red so she knew it hurt and she didnt want to send her off if she was in pain "It's nice to meet you, Evelyn. Are you sure you dont want anything for your forehead? it looks a little swollen to me" she said.

Looking down off the edge of the huge floating island Gary perked his ears upwards as he looked at the ripples of water on the ocean several miles below him. The ripples were more than likely huge waves, but from here they looked tiny.
Kicking a small stone off the edge of the land mass he turned to face the huge school campus that lay out before him. "Hmph ... looks like that cat got me into quite a large task this time around..." Slinging his bag over his shoulder he began his walk towards the large academy as his fluffy tail slowly swayes back and forth while the somewhat strong winds near the edge of the island played with his long silver hair. |
When the nurse asked if she wanted to lie down for a while, Evelyn decided that it would be a good idea. If the bump on her head was swollen, she might get dizzy and fall again, which would injure her more. "I think it would be a good idea if I took up your offer and layed down a little while" Evelyn smiled apolagetically at putting the nurse through trouble. Carefully, Evelyn stood up; wobbling a little, and then walked into the nurse's room. There was a padded bench against the far wall and she walked over to it and sat down. Taking her hat off, she made sure that it was in a place where it would not be damaged, she then rearranged her dress so that when she lay down, Kathrin wouldnt see her underwear. "Thank you for this. I appreciate you taking the time to look after me. Im a clumsy person anyway, but a bump to the head may make my balance even more off!" Evelyn smiled and tried to laugh, but now the bump on her head was properly forming, it hurt her to make any kind of head movement. A sudden strong feeling washed over Shilo and she immediately realised why. "Everyone, your headmaster has arrived!" she announced and then lead a group of enthusiastic students to meet him at the main entrance. "Good afternoon Sir" she smiled, trying to set an example to the other students. |
After walking for almost a mile from the edge of the island he reached the gates of the academy. Slowly trotting down the marble walkway towards the entrance to the massive school he comes upon a small gathering of students with a young woman before them.
Quirking his eyebrow at the greeting he brings his bag down from his shoulder, letting it hang at his side as he wags his tail slowly and scratches one of his ears. "Yes afternoon ... I'm guessing by your stature and authority you're one of the teacher here?" He looks back over the elaborate courtyard and gardens as he tugs lightly on his own ear while scratching it. "It's a bit over the top isn't it?" |
Shilo smiled when the new headmaster recognised her as one of the teachers. "Why yes, I am. I teach English and Italian here" When he made the comment about the school being over the top, Shilo frowned a little. "No Sir, I dont think it is over the top. You see, the beauty and extravagance of the school is the way that Aphrodite would have wanted it. It is a place of beauty" she tried to hide her dissapointment that the new headteacher thought his school was too extravagant, so smiling, Shilo motioned for him to follow her. "Would you like me to show you around? I could deirect you to your office and sleeping quarters" she smiled and turned away, walking slowly with all of the students following her. "You may go back to your free time now students. I will see most of you tomorrow in English at some point!" |
Kathrin smiled and followed Evelyn from behind so she would be able to catch her if she fell backwards. She pulled up a chair next to the girl and sat down "Does it hurt to move you head?" she asked. She didnt want to heal her forehead because that was only a minor injury, she was just planning on giving her a bag of ice, Although if the pain was to much for little Evelyn she would heal it.

Evelyn moved her head around in a test to see whether it hurt. The side stung a little when she did so, but nothing she couldnt bear. "It hurts a little, here" she said and pointed to where it hurt the most, and then smiled "but its not too bad!". Evelyn was 17 years old, but she still felt so young especially when she was hurt... She had a feeling she had been a Daddy's girl when she had a family. Rocking her legs back and forth like a child, Evelyn tried not to concerntrate on the headache that was forming slowly; is she thought about the pain, it would get worse. "How long have you been the nurse at this school?" Evelyn questioned Kathrin. |
Kathrin was glad to hear that the pain wasn't too bad, but she still felt guilty for slamming the door into her. She quickly stood up and grabbed a bag of ice from the freezer near her desk "This should help the swelling go down. Do you want some aspirin or something?" she asked as she sat back down in her chair and handed Evelyn the ice bag. "Hm...i've been a nurse for about two years at this school" Kathrin answered. |
Evelyn took the bag of ice and plonked it onto her now lumpy head. It felt nice and cold against the hot throbbing of her skull. "Thank you, and I think I'll be okay. I tend to stay away from pills unles I really need one" Evelyn blushed, but the ice cooled her face off quickly. "Wow, you must like your job!" she smiled and then winced as she got a searing pain through her temple. |

Ivan looked at Eclaire,"Shouldn't we be getting to our rooms?" He asked, Ivan started to look a bit pale. It was very common for him because he himself wasn't very strong, in fact, Ivan was half dead when Eclaire found him. Eclaire turned to look at him, but he shook his head which meant he was fine. A few seconds later however, he threw up blood on the floor and collapsed. Students nearby came rushing to help, but were pushed away by Eclaire. Eclaire, though worried about Ivan's health, remained calm and sharply looked at 2 scared looking students, yelling over the sheer panic of the other students,"Get the Nurse!" She bent down next to Ivan and made sure he was still breathing, though a shinigami, it may take years till he found another body to take over. |
Kathrin smiled and looked at the papers on her desk "I'm sure you'll be fine too, but try not to move your head much" she said, looking at Evelyn to make sure she heard her. " Yeah, i like being a nurse, i love being able to help people when th--" before she was able to finish her sentence a kid came running in talking about some kid who was really hurt. Kathrin quickly walked out of the her office and followed the student from behind, she felt bad about leaving Evelyn back there alone but she knew she would be fine. |
Follows behind the young woman while his tail flicks about slowly. "It's not a bad thing I suppose, Just not used to such an extravagant layout for an academy."
Tossing the bag back over his shoulder he continues to walk through the school, looking about at the students while his tail wags slowly. Hmm ... not used to dealing with such young meat, it will make flirting a bit more a hassle to avoid jail bait. |
Shilo smiled when her new boss changed his mind. "I know what you mean, it was hard for me to get used to aswell, but before you know it, you'll think it is just as beautiful as everyone else does". Turning a corner, Shilo began to read door numbers and when she found what she was looking for she stopped. "Twenty-six. Here is your sleeping quarter. I will show you to your office after dinner, because I have to be there to open the doors to the dining hall tonight. It's my duty for the evening!" she giggled and blushed a little. "Make yourself comfortable, and you will find the dining hal quite easily... Just follow the delicious smell of fresh cooked food!". Shli turned then and walked away, leaving the new headmaster outside of his dorm and headed for the large dining hall. Evelyn was confused at first, but she stood quickly and picked up what she assumed was Kathrin's medical box. Following quickly, she finally reached a large gathering of students and found Kathrin knelt by the side of a teacher who had blood on his face. "Kathrin?" she whispered. "I brought your medical kit, incase you needed it" the sight of blood was making Evelyn feel quite sick, so she placed down the box and walked away, heading for the dining hall to ger her dinner and hopefully make new friends. Cassie giggled when she saw how bothered Jake was about the water. Although, she was impressed that he had sat on the edge of the fountain, usually he stood well away. "You do surprise me!" she giggled and kissed his cheek. The soft sound of flowing water made her feel so relaxed that she wanted to sleep, but the sound of screams woke her up quickly. "Jake? I think we see whats going on. I hope nobody is hurt!" she looked worried and took hold of Jake's hand and pulled him in the direction of the screams. They found a large gatehring of students and Cassie tried to lead Jake through the group, but it was hopeles. "I wonder what happened?" she half questioned with an even more worried look on her face than before. |
Jake tried to see over the crowd "its no good... the air... i could fly you into the air and then you..." then he looked at her wings "mabey not... ummm.. we both fly?" he suggested

Cassie had somehow forgot that she had wings, and smiled mischeviously when Jake mentioned flying. "Sounds like a good idea to me!" she smiled and then moved away from the crowd so that she wouldnt nock anyone over with her large wing span. Fluttering her wings, Cassie began to hover into the air and towards the scene ahead. When she realised that the man lay on the floor must havevomited blood, and she saw the blood, she almost fell from the sky. It was horrible. Cassie hated blood, she always had. "Jake?" she whispered as she felt her eyes getting heavy. |
Eclaire patted his back and said,"Hey, get up Inn, the nurse is here." She picked him up and pretty much held him up. Glaring at the students crowded around them, they opened a path for them to go through. Looking at the nurse, she said,"Ivan here prefers to not have so many people looking at him like this, so shall we go to the office?" She asked the nurse.

Jake turned into a half bird half human (like a angel) and he flew with her, when she whispered his name he saw something wasn't right "Cassie?" he whispered back, but then he caught her and flew her down to safty "Cassie?"

"Urgh, I dont like blood" Cassie whispered, not able to bring her voice any louder than that. Her face was suddenly pale, and her normaly rosy red cheeks were a thing of the past. Wrapping her arms around Jake, Cassie let him fly her to safety and concerntrated on not either vomiting or passing out. |
Jake placed her on the grond and smiled "you will be fine, just try not to move, and rest up" he said and walked to the fountain, he got a cup and filled it without looking "you can do this" he mumbled and then he handed the cup to Cassie "drink this... stuff"

Kathrin smiled when Evelyn gave her the medicine box "Thanks, Evelyn" she said. She didnt say anything when she saw her walk away, she knew Evelyn didnt like the site of blood, most people didnt.She nodded and stood up when she heard Eclaire "Thats fine...i don't like it when lots of people are around either." She walked to her office with Eclaire and Ivan right behind, she was going to have to ask Eclaire what happened to Ivan, people dont suddenly collapse for no reason. |
Cassie could hardly believe her eyes when she saw Jake touch water from the fountain. She was so proud of him. "Thank you sweetie" she smiled and took the cup and began to sip it tentatively. |
