He nods at Tatum. "One of my friends is a werewolf--I chart so I know when to be on the lookout for her temper flaring." Then he looks thoughtful. "I wonder if she needs a job right now. This teaching gig isn't all that bad, really."

As they walked she thought, her ears drooped. "Hmm.. I'm sure he would want to help. Though, I don't know how many potential psychics there are on campus. " The scent of the food made her stop for a moment.. breathing in a full breath before letting it go. "Mmm.. so hungry.. I wonder if they have sushi!"

After unpacking in his new living quarter he stepped out of the dorm and shut the door behind him.

Looking about in the hall way he strolled out of the teachers dorm and walked out into the courtyard, his eyes squinting slightly from the overly bright sun on the white marble walkway. "This place is too bright ..."

She looked outside of the dining hall and saw Gary wandering around. She gestured to the woman she was with. "Eloise, look! There he is now!" She took her hand and kinda dragged her outside. She waved over to Gary, calling out to him.

Cassie could hardly believe her eyes when she saw Jake touch water from the fountain. She was so proud of him. "Thank you sweetie" she smiled and took the cup and began to sip it tentatively.

Jake chuckled, and when she wasn't looking he quickly wiped it off "you should sit near the fountain, i saw how it calmed you down"

Arely allowed herself to be dragged out into the courtyard by the young neko, she didn't really know how to stop her, and it was quite enjoyable to her to have such an enthusiastic student. When she really saw the kitsune man for the first time, she felt her insides stiffen, what was it that she was supposed to ask him? YPC, right, right. She needed to ask him if he would help her revive the YPC.

She slowly approached the man, and as she stood in front of him, bowed deeply. "Good evening, Headmaster. My name is Eloise Arely, I am a teacher in the math and science programs here at the School of Aphrodite, and I was wondering if I could talk to you for a spell about a program that I would like to revive." She bit her lip as she straightened herself and looked straight at the man's face, "You see, I am prophetess, call me by many titles, they all mean the same, and I wish to help out the students here that share my gift, and I was hoping to recruit your help in bringing back to the school an association that allows me to do so."

Tatum thanked the teacher and scurried off down the corridor to her room, where she quickly tossed her ancient books onto her desk, grabbed her wallet, and practically ran to the dining hall. She didn't realize it before the smells of delicious foods hit her that she was absolutely starving and hadn't eaten a bite since breakfast. She passed a lot of people that she remembered from her first day of classes, faces and not names, she was terrible with names, and waved to them. When she finally made it into the dining hall, she was overcome by smells of her favorite foods. Her feathered companion, still resting on her shoulder looked at her through his shiny red eyes. "Be patient, Phineas," for that is what the bird had told her his name was, "We will be fed soon enough, there's always plenty of food."

When she had secured herself a chicken salad, and a small dish of chili cheese fries for her friend, (His favorite) she relaxed a bit, letting the sounds of the conversations around her buzz like white noise in the background as she asked her crow friend questions and enjoyed her meal, of which she would probably be getting seconds, and possibly dessert.

Looks to Mary and then to Arely as his ears perk upwards while she speaks to him about the matter. "I wouldn't know anything about prophets or seers, it sounds like horoscope reading to me." He shrugs and shakes his head as he looks into her eyes and gives a grin. "Of course there are things I've never understood since I can't possibly have a knack for everything."

Turns and looks at Mary as he puts a hand on his own hip and continues to speak to Arely. "If you want to make the program I have no reason to say no to it, however given my limited scope on the matter I don't see how I would be much use to you on a personal level. My expertise lies in sex and romance, not fortune telling and prophecies."

Cassie smiled as Jake mentioned the fountain, and she stood up carefully and walked over to the runnig water.

Shilo smiled at the other teacher. "The food here is free, and you can get it over there!" she said and pointed to a really long table that ran the length of the dining hall. There was a large selection of different foods from around the world, and everytime something started to run out it was refilled by the cooking staff.

Jake sat down with her and looked away again "this is lovely" he said sway his body a bit, he looked at the sky and started to think

"I know" Cassie whispered before she fell into a deep sleep. As she was sitting up, she fell backwards into the fountain and her wings were so heavy that she sunk straight to the bottom of the water [which was very deep, considering it was only a fountain]. Cassie's body was completely submerged under the water, and she was about 6ft under by now. None of this woke her, and it was clear that she had not fallen asleep, the sight of blood must have made her pass out, and now she was drowning.. Although she didnt know she was.

Jake heard her go under and with out thinking he jumped in, when he was in he began to sink, he forgot one thing... he couldn't swim, he picked her up and then walked to the sind, he kept slipping though, he decided to chuck her out and he attempted to swim but he couldn't, he knew this would be his final grave soon as he used up his last bit off air, he saved Cassie's life at the cost of his own

Watches a big commotion going on at the fountain as he attempts to converse with the other teacher about her prophecies.
His ears fold down as he grumbles to himself. "Seriously? My first day and already drama like this?"

Grumbles as he stalks over to the fountain and looks over the scene. "Who makes a fountain over 6 ft deep, it's not practical in the least... for that matter why do I have to always do all the work?"

Mutters to himself as he tosses off his yukata and jumps into the fountain, it doesn't take long to reach the bottom as he grabs the young girl and swims up with her, throwing her on the ground rather roughly before pointing to Arely. "Mouth to mouth or whatever, just fix her."

Goes down again for the boy and emerges with him as he slings him onto the edge of the fountain rather roughly and plants a fist right under his ribcage as water ejects out of the boy's mouth violently from the force of the blow. "Your age and you can't swim, that's a bit deplorable wouldn't you think?"

Arely blinked a bit at the kitsune, her head kind of moving to the side, "I'm very sorry if I confuse you, headmaster, but the help which i require from you is solely based on your power over the board. You see, the last head master wasn't very fond of me, and called my gift 'a bunch of nonsense based on ancient hocus-pocus' therefore he did nothing to defend the program when it was in the hands of the board. All you would really have to do is put a signature on the petition I will be passing around so the board will take into consideration reviving my program." She smiled sweetly at the man, "In addition to that, prophecy is often heavily based in sex and romance, seeing as one of the more popular reasons for someone to seek out a seer is to obtain information on their future love lives."

When she finally noticed that Gary wasn't paying any attention to her at all, and ran over to the fountain instead, she puffed up a bit, but when he emerged with two students, her eyes widened in shock. At his command, she began doing chest compressions on the girl, and breathing into her angled mouth every four beats, repeating in her mind, 'one, two, three, four, breathe.' until the girl began to cough up fountain water.

Cassie felt her body slam against the hard floor, and she spluttered awake. "What the?" she questioned to herself, when she realised that she was soaked from head to toe. "Jake?" she then whispered, as she looked around and saw him nowhere. The thing that scared Cassie the most was not that she was soaked, or that she clearly almost drowned, but that she had no idea where Jake was. Surely, he hadnt just left her to die? 'No, something isnt right' Cassie then thought to herself, realising that she knew Jake too well and there was no way he would do that to her.

Standing and shaking the water off her wings by spreading them to their full span [5ft] and wafting them around, she began to look around more intently, trying to find Jake, then it hit her... Jake would have tried to save her, but Jake couldnt swim? "Jake?" she screamed as she realised he must still be submerged in the water. "Jakee?" she wailed again when she threw herself onto the side of the fountain and swa Jake's body still submerged under water. He must be either drowning, or dead already, and Cassie could feel huge salty tears running down her cheeks.

Closing her eyes, Cassie plunged herself into the water. It had always been her gift to control the elements, but that only ever seemed the case at night, until now. Cassie concerntrated hard whilst under the water, and called upon the element Water. 'Water, help me now. I need you. Jake is drowning, and I love him so very much. Get him out of here!' Cassie thought to herself, but more to the Water. As soon as she did so, the water around her began to ripple and swell, and soon enough it was forming a mass that lifted Jake from the water and placed him down by the side of the fountain. Cassie too was lifted from the water. When she was next to Jake, she silently thanked the element and then turned around frantically to find someone who could help her. She screamed at a pretty girl in a hat who looked like she should be from the 1800's and told her to get the nurse.

"Stay with me Jake. I need you" she whispered in his ear and held him close, trying to keep him warm.

Evelyn heard all the commotion, and began to make her way to the scene that was occuring. As soon as she arrived there, she heard a girl screaming at her, telling her to get the nurse... Then realisation hit Evelyn as she saw a boy's body lay on the floor, dripping wet through. "Oh my!" she said to herself and began to run through the school back to the nurse's office. When she arrived, Evelyn didnt nock or anything, she just burst in. "Kathrin? Theres a boy. I think he drowned. We need you!" she screamed and then started to run back to the scene of the incident.

Jake wasn't moving, he was still slightly consious, he tried to breath but was still near enough dead, he soon then feel into un-consiusness

"Oh gawd damn it ... we should save this sort of thing for after the first date ..." He begins pushing on the boys chest in compressions and leans down to force air into his lungs, repeating this a few times before he sits up and slaps the boy in the face. "Wake up, if you die I will have you revived and then expel you for not listening."

Growls and returns to the compressions as he periodically gives the boy air.

Cassie opened her eyes to see a beautiful woman sitting by her and staring down at her looking worried. "Wh-What happened?" she asked the woman, who she assumed was a teacher due to her more adult looks and the fact that she was helping her. Cassie then realised that she was soaking wet and freezing cold. Thinking back, Cassie then realised that the last thing she remembered was walking over to the fountain with Jake and feeling dizzy and faint. She must have collapsed?

"Jake?" she asked the teacher, worried about him. If he had tried to save her, which knowing Jake he would do, he would have drowned... Jake couldnt swim, and Cassie knew that. 'Please be okay. I hope you didnt try to save me you stupid boy!' she thought to herself as her body began to shake and her breath began to come in jagged bursts, partly becasue she was so cold, but also because of fear that Jake was dead.

Jake coughed up some water and he looked around with fear in his eyes "wheres the water?" he asked and started to panic "do let me go in it again" he said and tried to get up

Arely comforted the girl, placing a hand delicately on her back, "It's alright sweetie, you and your friend are fine now." then she turned and looked at the agitated Gary, " we need to get them to the nurse." Her voice had somehow gone from gentle and calming, to rough and authoritative, she was surprised at even herself. She helped the girl to her feet, "Come now, child, you can help too. What on earth were you two doing in the fountain?"

"People that can't swim should stay out of water..." Stands up and and shakes his tail hard as water flings in ever direction. "Ugh ... my tail is soaked ..."

Helping the young boy to his feet he looks over at Arely. "Yea I guess so, they are alive now so you can take them, I'm going to go back to my room and blow dry out my tail and hair."

Cassie instantly felt better at the beautiful teacher's tone and words. She let herself be helped to her feet and faltered a little almost falling back down onto her face. When she had regained her balance, she heard the woman saying something about the two of them being safe... 'So Jake DID try to save me!' she thought to herself. When the sweet woman; who she was sure ws called Arely, asked what they were doing in the fountain, Cassie shook her head. "We werent in the fountain, Miss. I get quesy around blood, and when I saw the other teacher covered in blood I almost fainted. Jake carried me away and said that the fountain calmed me down once today, so it should be able to do it again. When I sat on the side of teh fountain, I must have collapsed and falled backward in the water. Jake cant swim. He is a Neko and the cat-like presence in him is scared of the water, so he never learned to swim. He must have tried to save me, acting first and thinking later, and now here we are. Im sorry we put you through so much trouble!" Cassie said and then burst into floods of tears, almost losing her balance again.

Jake quickly hugged her and then he began to cry too "this is all my fault... i should know how to swim, i shouldn't be such a wussy" he sobbed and then he shivered while hugging Cassie
