((if she knows where he is :XD))
Jake knew it was lesson time soon and he shifted into a fly, he began to fly outside, when he was outside he flew up into a tree "this looks cosy" he said as he flew to the top and then he shifted into a cat "now i have too wait until lesson finishes, then i go and hang out with Cassie" he said closing his eyes and fell alseep |
[[Wow. I have 4 characters. I must get soo bored!]]
Shilo yawned and stretched and smiled. The sun was shining in through her window and lessons were about to begin. Getting up, she washed and dressed and began to make her way out of the room; after running back to get her books and lesson plans. All Shilo could think of was meeting all of her new students and who she would be teaching for the next year. Cassie wandered out of her room and down the corridor in search of her dance room. She had always loved dance, and could not wait to meet her new teacher. On her way there, she passed a cat curled up in a tree and figure it was Jake. She smiled to herself and then walked off, leaving him to rest. Cassie would find him at lunch. Sitting on a bench, Evelyn engrossed herself in her new book; The Great Gatsby. She peered over at the large antique clock that rested in the school's chapel and smiled. 'A few minutes left yet' she whispered to herself, looking back to the withering pages of her book and began to read it again. It was Lottie's second day, and as she walked around the school grounds, she smiled to herself. She could tell that she was going to like it there, and the best part was... No water. Apart from the fountain that she passed in the courtyard, but she guessed that it wasnt that deep. The whole school was beautiful, and she was starting to changer her mind about her Father's palace being more grand. This place was definately created by the Goddess of Love, and it was obvious. Everything just looked so prestine and perfect. 'Wonder what lesson I have?' she thought to herself and pulled out her note book with a rough copy of a timetable. Not all of the teacher's had arrived at the school, and so most of the students were going to be in the same lessons for a few days... But Lottie didnt mind. It meant she got a better chance to make friends here. |
((what now for Jake?))
|
[[You really dont HAVE to skip lesson. You can go to one of Cassie's lessons if you want to. Or try making new freinds. I know Jake is scared of meeting new people, but it might be good for him. Cassie has friends :) ]] |
((nah, Jakes a loner :XD))
Jake woke up and remembered he was in Cassie's lesson, he quickly got down and rushed into the room "sorry im late teacher" he said quickly and sat next to Cassie "i was ummm... getting changed" |
Kalila nodded as Jake entered. She surpised that a boy would want to take her class but it pleased her none the less. Show time! "Alright kids lets get started!" Kalila's sweet, musical voice filled the room effortlessly. "I'm Miss Kalila and I will be instructing you in the art of dance. I've studied everything from Swing to Zumba so you can bet that you'll be sampling anything." She gestured to mirrors, upon which she had written the the following statement:

Leon had stayed up all night reading and filling out forms, after all he has do some work away from his other job. he finished filling out the forms, faxed them, then proceeded to stretch.
He splashed water gently on his face, staring at himself in the mirror, grimly reflecting on his past, but then smiled and dismissed it. Locking his room, he straightened his gloves, and walked to the first class of the day. After all, it might be interesting. Opening the door as quietly as possible he went to the back of the room and sat down, his hat on his desk and his fox ears in the air. He felt like he stuck out like a sore thumb, but its better than being bored at his nurses office. |
Cassie smiled sweetly as her new dance teacher; Miss Kalila looked around the room at each different student. When Miss Kalila asked if anyone had studied dance before, Cassie blused and raised her hand shyly. "I have'nt studied it, so much as learnt it. I used to watch people dancing from the clouds, and they always looked so beautiful and graceful, so I followed their moves and began to learn how to dance myself. I'm not very good though" she trailed off in a quiet, shy voice and blushed even more when she realised everyone was watching her speak. Lottie was sat quietly at the very back of the dance studio, hiding her face. A girl spoke whom she had never met before, and Lottie smiled when she realised that this girl was an Angel. They were from two complete opposite lengths of the world; Lottie from within the sea, Cassie from within the sky, so needless to say she had never seen one before. Feeling slightly more confident now that someone else had spoken before her, Lottie raised her hand and smiled. "I didn't study dance Miss, but I did used to have to dance a lot in my Father's palace when he would host balls. However, my type of dancing is nothing like yours. I used to dance with a tail, not with feet!" she giggled and then continued with "Please excuse me if I am a little wobbly. I am still getting used to these legs of mine" she said and blushed a bright shade of crimson. |
Waking up from bed, Mary arched her back backwards and stood, bringing her hands gown as far awy from her as possible, sticking her tush up in the air. Much like any cat would stretch after being curled up all night. Looking at the clock ash gasped and ran into her closet, grabbing her book-bag and dance clothes and ran for the studio. there were few classes in the blooming school, so for now all of them were manditory. ---------- Running into the dressing room, she qucikly slipped out of all of her clothing, what little she had thrown onto herself in the little time she had. She needed a quick shower so she slipped into one of the stall, letting the warm water cleanse her. "Nyaaaa~" |
Victoria made her way around the halls with ease. She had seen the school in one of her visions, and it had been so vivid, she even knew what colors all of the walls were, the characters in the ceiling murals, and noticed one big, even swirl in the middle of the marbled floors where four hallways came together. She'd also seen the faces of several of her fellow students, two Nekos, an angel, mermaid, and a very irritable looking Kitsune. She smiled as she walked, carrying the books they had given her. They were nothing but blank, perforated pages, and she was sure others would be confused by them, as she was the only one she knew that could see the stories behind the tiny domino bumps.
Andreas made his way to his first class, Dance. Now why had they decided that he of all people should be in a dance class? "Don't worry, Andreas, it will only increase your skill. Dance is a great form of exercise and takes lots of muscle and flexibility." He mumbled to himself, then sighed, "Who am I kidding, I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb. Fiery red hair, wings, why don't they just stick a sign around my neck that says outcast and just get it over with." He stopped speaking as he burst through the door. Class had already started, and of course as soon as the door opened, all eyes were on him. He resisted blushing, and instead made his embarrassment sound like anger, a bad habit of his that usually drove people away, "Sorry I'm late, I kinda got lost in the hallways. This school. is just so d-," He caught himself mid cuss-word, another bad habit that he was trying to get a leash on, "confusing." Adira barely made it to her office in one piece, and so did the devices she was carrying. She'd been awake for fifteen minutes, and already she was piling up requests from students who had broken watches, video games, cell phones, Cd and Mp3 players, and there was even a girl who had handed her a mechanical heart. "Dang med students." she had mumbled under her breath as she walked away from the girl. Now she was balancing electronics in one hand, her to-go cup of coffee in the other, and trying to open the door of her office without breaking a device even more than it already was, or pouring scalding hot liquid all over herself. She finally managed to turn the knob and scurry inside, dumping the devices on her desk and taking one, long swig of her coffee. "Maybe I should start wearing a backpack," She mumbled to herself as she began work on a cell phone that some moron had accidentally dropped in the fountain. "Or maybe just have a drop box for all of this stuff in my room, have everyone put their names on a piece of tape, because no way am I remembering who gave me what, except for maybe the girl that gave me the heart, and just let the students dump their crap when it breaks and I'll get it back to them when it's fixed." she began to agree with herself as she bared the naked circuits of the cell phone and dumped out what must have been at least an ounce of water, "Yeah, yeah that could work." |
Tatum smashed a fist down on her blaring alarm clock, it had been singing a song by Justin Beiber, and she almost vomited in her bed. Phineas had been 'caw'ing at her to turn it off for two solid minutes. She glanced up at the time on her now Beiber-less alarm clock and gasped. "I'm late! Oh, all the god's in the underworld, my first day and I'm late!" She hurried to get ready, skipping over her jeans and choosing a comfy pair of yoga pants when she remembered her first class. She quickly threw her wild red mane into a messy pony tail and rushed out the door with her dorm room keys attached to a long key chain in one hand. Phineas managed to fly out just before she closed the door on him, pulling a ten-point Indiana Jones move that made her smile, despite her brisk, practically-running walk down the hallway and her negative mentality, "I'm dead, I'm sooo~ dead." she kept mumbling to herself as she walked into the door of the dance studio, "Sorry I'm late, I overslept," She said, glancing around the room. "In my dreams I was murdering Justin Beiber, his song was playing on my alarm radio, and I didn't want to wake up until he'd been decapitated." She laughed nervously as she took a place next to one of the other students whose name she couldn't quite recall.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Arely swished down the halls casually, the morning was slow, and her core classes didn't start until late in the day. She had a hot mug of green tea in one hand and was sipping at it gingerly as she walked, admiring her beautiful surroundings every step she took. She was on her way to her office where she would begin organizing invitations to the YPC. She talked to the board earlier that morning and they had agreed to put it back on the after-school activities list as long as she would include all students that had control over some aspect of the mind instead of just being able to see the future, whether it be reading minds, or even controlling them, she had to accept them, and she would. She remembered as she made it to her office that she was supposed to tutor a young blind girl, Victoria Sterling, she remembered her name was. Apparently she was a seer, which, however unique, Arely found quite strange. She hoped that the girl hadn't gotten lost in the hallways during the morning rush as she began to scribble down notes about various students that had mental powers. |
Kalila giggled at her late arrivals. "I expect a few late occurrences, especially during the early weeks... just try not to make it a habit," she added a wink to her embarrassed students. She enjoyed the stories from her students and was quite intrigued by Lottie's tale, or lack there of currently. Smiling she said, "Well lets start with some easy stretches and hopefully get some noise of you kids!"
Kalila led them through a series of easy stretches and them had her students line up, facing away from the mirrors. I don't want them feeling so self conscious. "Pick your partners everyone... we're starting with something fun-- Swing!" |
(( Confused... 0.o))
|
((we started classes... dance is right now so you can have your charrie join in or so something else))
|
Tatum groaned a bit when she found out what their first dance was, "I really suck at swing. Found that one out the hard way." She said remembering learning swing for her cousin Monica's sweet sixteen. She and several other girls had to learn the dance for a special birhtday performance. She ended up not being able to be in the performance, but she did get everyone's signature on her new leg cast. She watched as the other students scrambled to find partners, standing awkwardly at the edge of the classroom. Needless to say, she wasn't any good at socializing with people she didn't know well.
|
Leon's eyes shifted to the edge of the class to see a student. Trying to remember the list of students he read last night as well. Tatum. Yep, the name and picture matched. ".. Not my problem." He whispered to himself. Walking past Tatum, stopped when he reached the door. Pulling out a cigarette from his pocket. Then proceeded to walk out of the room with a cigarette on his lips.
Leaning against an open window he lit the cigarette and looked at the sky "So peaceful. Although, being stuck in the middle of nowhere, with snow everywhere is more so." A smile suddenly sprawled onto his face looknig at his reflection, today he woke up with semi short black hair, his sides literally hurting form laughter. "I look like Doctor Who! ooooo wee, What fun." He rubbed the back of his head and slumped his head forward. |
((another dance lol...))
Jessie walked in, her hair spiked up looking for someone to talk to. "Two dances in one week this is crazy." She said quietly to herself. She was wearing purple knee high converse, rainbow socks, a black skirt, and a white tank top. She did not care what she looked like because she had just thrown this outfit about thirty minutes before she came here. (( Oh shoot did u take my profile out :()) |
Victoria continued to walk in the direction that her instincts told her to go, bumping into an obstacle on the way. 'that's odd... I didn't see this in my vision' She began to feel the obstacle with her hands, noting that it was soft, so she hadn't run into a marble pillar or anything like that. when she felt a breath, she realized that what she had run into was a person [Leon]. She blushed a deep crimson, "I'm very sorry. I didn't see you there," She giggled, waving a hand in front of her face to signify her blindness. "I'm obviously lost, could you point me in the direction of Miss Arely's room? She is my tutor. Oh, and I apologize for feeling you up, I didn't quite know what it was that I ran into and, well, touch is my strongest sense."
Andreas saw the girl that had come in just after he did, standing off at the edge of the room while everyone else was scrambling to find a partner. he pushed through the crowds, making a bee line to her and ignoring the comments about his rudeness. "Um, Hi." He said, "I'm Andreas, would you like to be my swing partner? I mean, if you don't mind. I saw that you didn't have a partner, and I don't have a partner and well, It's not like I'm feeling sorry for you or anything or that I think you're a bad dancer or..," He sighed, "Shut up, Andreas. quit babbling you're making a fool of yourself." he said to himself out loud. He saw her look of curiosity and thought, 'great, now she probably thinks I'm rude, creepy, and insane.' |
"Oh no, it's quite alright dear, my fault for being here in your path." he gave her a warm smile although she couldn't see it. Reminded him of his daughter sadly. "Arley eh? Yeah, i'll take you to her, if i remember the room of course." his gloved hand grabbed onto her and they began to walk down the halls. "It shouldn't take long to get there. Though this place is huge... If i may ask though, you don't have to answer.. How long have you been.. Without vision?"
|
Victoria laughed, "It's no trouble at all for me to answer, I've been talking about it with curious people since I can remember. I haven't been blind all of my life, I was born with Retinitis Pigmentosa. I completely lost my vision when I was eight or nine, but I can still see, in a manner of speaking." She continued to walk with the man allowing her body to be led by him, taking note of every step and turn as they traveled. "My mother wasn't completely aware of her heritage, thus she didn't completely understand my gifts until my grandmother explained that we come from a long line of Greek prophets. The retinitis is a disease that I inherited from my father's side of the family."
|
"I guess nobody around these parts is normal, then again, we all have something special." He stopped in front of a door which he was dead sure was where they were heading. "Well, i haven't been to Greece since.. the beginning of the Cold War i believe. But thats a story for another day. By the way, i'm Dr. Leon Sisk,, in case you ever find your way into my office." He patted her shoulder and placed a lollipop in her pocket. "Take it, i litterally have been dying to get rid of all those lollipops."
