Teia smiled up at him and sighed. "I dreamed of you too" she whispered and closed her eyes happily as he massaged her neck gently. "Ok but wouldn't it be easer if I just came down there with you? OR you stayed up here?" she asked smiling up at him. She would do anything to be with him all winter. It was the one thing she wasn't looking forward to. "I will do anything to see you." she whispered and looked up at him.
Tyrel met her gaze, looking slightly stunned as he did so. His hand trailed down her shoulder and to her hand, where he linked their fingers and thought over his words before speaking. "I will not live with you," he said quietly, and the elf frowned. "I will not go against the laws of my people like that." Running a tan hand through her hair, the elf sighed. "Only after marriage, Teia." He chuckled. "We will have to be patient to see one another."
Teia looked at him shocked. she closed her eyes smiling as he ran a hand threw her hair. "Ok but what if we brought my tepe down? Then you wouldn't be living with me. I would be in my house and you could put it in the corner so you would have your own place and I would have mine" she offered but if he still refused she wouldn't push it any more. She was just glad he was there now.
The tall elf paused, and then laughed and threw his arms around the woman, pulling her into his lap. "Your tepee wouldn't fit into the cavern," Tyrel said with a smile, rubbing her arms as he buried his face in her hair. "A good thought though, Teia." His accent lilted a bit, showing that he was truly pleased with her suggestion. Now that he'd embraced her, the elf knew they'd both be nice and damp - but warm. That was one thing he loved about this human - she was so warm.
Teia was so small - he loved how she fit into his arms just the right way, how she sounded more beautiful than music itself. He could sit and listen to her all day and never tire of her voice. Tyrel could be happy just by sitting beside her - and even more so if he could hold her. Teia. My Teia. |
Teia blushed and then nodded. "Ok. Then I will keep an opening up for you. Where is your cavern so I can make the hole by there" she said looking up at him. If he didn't have to swim so far he wouldn't be so cold. She smiled as he pulled her in his lap and wrapped his arms around her. She leaned onto his shoulder and closed his eyes. "I feel so warm with you. And like nothing can ever hurt me" she said softly. She knew he was her everything now. She couldn't live with out him. She was going to keep that openging open for him.
He didn't want her out on the ice . . . so he promptly shook his head. "Near this shore is the closest place." There were a few moments of comfortable silence before the elf spoke once again. "Just keep your fire going, and I won't have to worry about getting cold." Being near you will keep me warm. Besides, his society of elven kind could withstand more cold than most humans. It was the one reason he still didn't wear a shirt.
You are my everything. My shining star - the ocean I long for. Elven words - they rang through his head suddenly, and a smile made its way onto his sharply featured face. They meant "I love you." There was nothing that pleased a sea elf more than the ocean - and Tyrel had found one thing more intoxicating; more addicting. Teia. "What if someone comes for you while I'm not with you?" he asked quietly, stroking the woman's hair repeatedly - he loved the silky feel, how her soft hair fell through his fingers gently. |
Teia nodded and cuddled closer to him. "If anyone comes I will either fight, run and hide, or if worse comes to worse I will dive under the water and swim to you" she said looking up at him. She smiled as he ran his fingers threw her hair. No one had ever done that and it felt so amazing. She looked at his chest then started drawing tribal pictures on his chest. "How are we going to pass the winter by with out each other?" she asked still drawing on him.
Tyrel flinched away at first, a funny smile on his face, but as Teia continued to "draw" on him, the elf relaxed. He was ticklish, but refused to say anything - instead he forced his thoughts back to their topic. "Die," he said dramatically, his accented voice more of a purr. It was . . . silly of him . . . but he could think of nothing but her hand at that moment, his blue eyes following her fingers intently.
((:XD Short.)) |
"Yeah that is what I was thinking." Teia said and sighed. She smiled seeing his blue eyes watching her every move. She loved his eyes. They were the prettiest blue she had ever seen. "why do you have to live under water? Couldn't we make you a tepe right next to mine?" she asked looking into his eyes her brown eyes full of care, worry, longing, and curiosity.
For a moment, Tyrel paused, his gaze lingering within Teia's. "I need the water," he said slowly, blinking. "It's like an addiction." The well-muscled elf frowned, looking at the fire. "Though I suppose that we could try it." The reason he lived underwater was because his cavern was always damp - it was like having water in the very air he breathed. The elf relied on the waters to keep his power alive, to let his magic stay at the same level. "If I don't wake up one morning," he said in a slightly playful tone, "just toss me into the water if you can." Or perhaps a bucket of water. He wasn't necessarily kidding, but he didn't want to freak Teia out too much.
His hand moved to rest over hers, stopping her fingers from tracing over his chest. Tyrel was holding back laughter due to the fact that it tickled, and he kissed her fingertips to stop her from drawing on him. "Stop!" he chuckled, his free arm wrapping around his own torso. "That tickles." Eyes full of love, the elf smiled wholeheartedly, soaking up the moments he had with her. Not only did they risk getting caught, but Tyrel knew that she was human - he would outlive her. The very thought made his heart sink, but he didn't let the emotion get to his face. I love her now and always, and I will enjoy her while she's still here. |
Teia's eyes sparkled but she shook her head. "If you need water I don't want to keep you from it. I was just wondering." she said and giggled and buried her face in chest. "Well you can take it very well. I didn't know I was tickling you" she giggled again. She took in his scent and smiled. It still his smelled wonderful. "I am so glad I found you. Right now I would be in the arms of some man I don't love instead of the arms of the man I do love" she said looking up at him smiling. That day was and all ways be her favorite day.
Tyrel held her close as she buried herself against him, and the elf stroked her back repeatedly. "I am glad you're here then," he said, tracing a small flourish over her back. "I don't enjoy being without you." Even though he had "enjoyed being alone" just the other day, the white-haired male couldn't think of losing Teia now.
Crushing her to him in a warm embrace, the elf pulled away only to lift her chin with his finger, watching her for a few seconds before leaning down to press his cool lips to hers. "I would try anything that brings me closer to you." |
Teia smiled up at him. He was the best thing in the world and she could never be without him now. Even at night it was torcher with out him. SHe knew that winter would kill her but she would keep that opening open so he could come threw. She wrapped her arms around him as he hugged her tightly she hugged him back just as tightly. She looked into his eyes. They were always filled with love and warmth. She kissed him back and wrapped her arms around his neck. WHen he pulled away she rested her forehead on his. "Ok but nothing that will get you killed." she said softly. If he died she wouldn't be able to stand it. Life with out him was something she didn't want to think about.
"I won't die," he muttered, his hands moving to cup her face. "I finally found someone to live for." He stroked her cheeks with his thumbs, meeting her gaze with a smile. "If it doesn't work, we'll just go along with the first plan." His blue eyes flickered to the tepee's opening, and he rested his forehead against hers once again. "I'll make my own shelter. I don't need much help . . . but I would enjoy company."
Stroking her cheeks again, the elf tilted his head so he could kiss Teia, humming in contentment as he did so. She tasted good, he realized (with much embarrassment) suddenly. With a blush, he pressed his lips to hers again, reveling in the wonder of the moment - it felt like a shot of electricity, like a wave of joy - every time he kissed her. "Will you keep me company while I make a shelter?" |
Teia blushed hearing he was living for her. She blushed even more as he kissed her. She never realised it but he tasted amazing and his kissed were so amazing. She wrapped her arms around his neck and looked into his eyes. "I would love to keep you company." she said and kissed him lovingly. Even thought he was cold his lips felt amazing on hers. She never wanted to pull away but knew she should. She pulled back and smiled wider. "We can have an opening in the ice so you can get to the water every now and then." she said happy he was going to be close to her all winter.
Tyrel hugged Teia one last time before standing and shrugging off the pelt she'd wrapped about them, reaching down to pull the woman to her feet gently. "My power will help me with the shelter," the elf said with a grin, linking his cold fingers with hers as he walked toward the tepee opening. Upon exiting the dwelling, his blue eyes scanned over the late morning frost that lingered about the pond.
Releasing her hand, Tyrel chuckled and quickened his pace, turning the chance to gather materials such as wood and other plant life into a game of tag. "Catch me?" he taunted, turning around once he was many feet away. Laughing in a melodic tune, the water elf then moved with incredible speed, flitting to the other side of the lake before returning to his spot not far from the human. It was moments like these where he seemed . . . otherworldly. His dark skin glistened with what seemed to be a bit of water, his blue eyes swirling with sparks of darkness, and his long hair flit about in an unseen breeze. Tyrel looked like a creature from another time. |
Teia giggled seeing him run around. Her breath caught seeing him like that. She felt like she was in a dream. After a few minutes she snapped out of it then ran after him. She giggled and still made no sound on the dry earth. She smiled at him and was getting ready to catch him. she never remembered having this much fun. Even as a child. She was always expected to act older because she was the only women in the tribe at her age group.
Tyrel let Teia catch up, only to disappear in a spray of water that misted over her, reappearing behind the girl and wrapping his arms about her torso. Flinging her in a circle, the elf laughed again, sounding even more "water oriented" as he did so. "You're fast for a human," he said in a flowing accent, sounding more foreign by the moment. His cold touch was icy, but at the same time . . . warm. Soft, gentle - playful. "And quiet. If I couldn't see you, I wouldn't have known you were coming, Teia."
Nuzzling the side of her face, the white-haired youth backed away, his hands leaving her as he spun away again. "Try again?" |
Teia smiled up at him. "well my people are blessed with being quiet." she said giggling. Even though he was cold she felt warmer with his arms around her. She looked at him smiling then went after him. After a little bit she wrapped her arms around him and kissed his ear. "got you" she giggled happily. She never wanted this to stop. It was too much fun.
Tyrel hummed happily, smiling as he felt her kiss his ear. "That you did," he purred, squirming away from her with a laugh. It was too much fun - he didn't want to worry about gathering supplies quite yet. Suddenly he changed tactics. Instead of running, the elf tackled Teia, turning in mid-air so he would hit the ground instead of her. Crushing her to him, he laughed, blowing a cool breath against the side of her face. If only this could last forever. If she were elven, then it possibly would - but she was human; temporary. The thought nearly crushed him, but Tyrel forced it away. Enjoy her while you can, little elf.
Teia giggled and looked down at him. She smiled and cupped both his cheeks. She leaned down and kissed him lovingly. She was loving this time with him. But she was more in love with him. She pulled back and smiled at him. "You are so amazing" she whispered smiling down at him. She rubbed her nose to his giggling. She never wanted this to end. She wanted this happiness to last forever.
A small noise left Tyrel's lips, and he burst into laughter. "Not as amazing as you," he chuckled, slipping a hand behind her neck and pulling her down to kiss her again. "I'm sure a pretty little thing like you has no trouble drawing the crowds back home, eh?" His blue eyes were playful, and the slender elf let his accented voice flow just like the water he'd come from. "Why would you choose to live outside of home, waiting for a stranger?" He brushed Teia's cheek with a cold hand. "What if I'm lying to you? What if I'm not what's best for you, Teia?"
Teia looked at him shocked. "I chose because I fell in love. And I found something that makes me so musch more happy then I have ever been" she said smiling at him. "I don't care. I am falling my heart and I don't care where that leads me" she said and brushed hair out of his face. "And I didn't draw crowds. My sister does though. But I guess I draw magical creatures" she said giggling then kissed him again.
Letting out a low hum of enjoyment, Tyrel returned her kiss. "Let's hope this choice of yours isn't life threatening." The elf then rolled, pinning Teia against the soft ground with a laugh. "Pinned ya," he chuckled, his water-like voice wavering slightly. "How do you expect to live through this relationship, human?" He laughed, keeping the woman pinned for a few more moments.
Teia gave a squeak then smiled up at him. "I don't know. I feel like I have died and am in the big sky." she said smiling up into his eyes. She was downing in his wonderful voice. It was like drowning in a dream. She moved some of his hair out of his face and put it behind his ear. "I am glad you are staying up here with me. But I feel bad. I am keeping you from the water where you belong"
