"I belong with you," Tyrel replied, smiling as she stroked the hair from his face. The white-haired elf nudged her hand with his head as she tucked it behind his ear, and slowly leaned down to press his cold lips to hers once again before getting up, offering a hand. "Though I do think we should gather the supplies now before it gets cold again." He didn't want her hurting herself or getting sick because of him.
Glancing toward the forest, he smiled a bit. "Some wood would be nice. If we can gather some long branches, I can form them into a dwelling of sorts." His blue eyes then widened, and he pointed to a small cluster of trees. "Just there. With a few other bits of plantation, it can be like a . . . den of sorts." The trees created a canopy, their branches tightly woven just high enough for a roof. It looked like something once lived there, but Tyrel figured it had been a while since they'd come back. Perfect for a temporary dwelling.

Seer of the Past 07-13-2010 11:29 PM

Teia smiled and took his hand. "Ok. Let's go get the wood" she said and didn't let his hand go once she was standing. "And I am not worried of the cold because I have you" she said wrapping her arms around him. She then kissed him before she started looking around for nice big pieces of wood. She found one and tried to lift it but struggled. "Tyrel could you please lift this? I can't" she said blushing.

Esmme 07-14-2010 01:45 AM

Tyrel merely moved to help, smiling at the woman as he did so. "I'm not attracted to you because of your strength," he said with a sly smile, helping her lift the wood and carry it toward the den-like home that he would be staying in for the winter. "Having someone to help makes me feel needed."
They repeated the process of gathering wood for over an hour, but finally got his home just as he wanted it. "Perfect." Wrapping a slender arm about Teia's waist, the tall male observed his new home for a few moments before turning his attention to the woman he held. "Thank you, Teia." I wouldn't be up here if not for you.

((I'm totally thinking that something disastrous should happen.))

Seer of the Past 07-14-2010 03:18 AM

Teia smiled up at him. "Well you will feel needed a lot." she said smiling up at him. "Why are you thanking me? I should be thanking you. You have saved me from marrying someone else." she said and kissed him. "Do you want some pelts? I have plenty for you to use." she said wanting him to stay warm.

Esmme 07-16-2010 04:47 AM

"A few pelts would be nice," the elf replied, chuckling. "You go get them, and I will finish up here." The water elf blinked slowly, his dark features smoothing with calm as he kissed her forehead. "There are a few adjustments that I want to make before really settling down."
Pushing her toward her own tepee, Tyrel smiled, backing into his own shelter. He could have sworn he'd just heard a rustling in the bushes, and he didn't want Teia to get involved with trouble.

Seer of the Past 07-16-2010 04:52 AM

Teia nodded and grabbed her warmest pelts. She went back out side and brought them over to Tyrel. "here you. My warmest one." she said and sat them in his little house. "It there anything else you need?" she asked smiling at him. She hoped he would be warm enough at night. "If you ever get too cold you are more then happily welcomed to come sleep in my teepee." she said. She knew about the tradition but she thought warmth came before tradition. For if one died of cold then the tradition couldn't cary on.

Esmme 07-16-2010 06:36 AM

Blinking, startled by Teia's swift reappearance, the elf looked back to her. "I will be warm enough," he replied, kissing her temple before looking back to the trees. There. Movement. There was something out there, though it wasn't approaching. Perhaps it was another human? Shaking the thought away, Tyrel looked back to Teia. "Is there anything else we should do?"
Thinking for a moment, the tall male suddenly smiled. "We should gather some food before we rest."

Seer of the Past 07-16-2010 09:53 AM

Teia nodded and wrapped her arms around him. She smiled up at him with her chin on him. "What should we get? Most of the dear are gone around this time." she said and heard the movement. "What is that Tyrel?" she asked quietly seeing him look back. She got closer to him scared they were warriors from her village here to take her away. That was the worst thing to her right now. Being taken away from Tyrel.

Esmme 07-17-2010 08:48 PM

"I want you to go back to your dwelling," the elf said, pushing Teia toward the tepee. "Don't be scared." Already the waters of the lake were slowly getting choppy as though responding to Tyrel’s emotions, the small waves flickering about and beginning to form about his cold form. To keep her from getting wet, the tall elf pushed her again, his blue eyes hardening as he looked toward the noise. "Don't come out until I call you."
-

Once again the creature stirred, a low growl escaping its lips. It was a strange thing, this creature. An ageless face hidden behind a dark curtain of hair, the ragged remains of a cloak clinging to it's lanky form. A nearly shredded bit of fabric remained wrapped about his head, like a bandage that he could care less about.
As his glowing eyes locked on his target - a young woman - Vincent snarled again, moving in a motion too fast for the eye to follow. It was certain - he would catch his prey. But just as he was a few feet from Teia, claws and fangs extended and ready for the kill, a wall of water rose, throwing the creature back. With a feral hiss, Vincent regained his footing, glowing red eyes glaring at Tyrel.

"Teia, tent." Tyrel's watery voice rang with his accent, and the elf seemed to make the ground around him freeze suddenly. "Now." Another wave of water rushed over the creature, keeping Vincent pinned to as he tried to hunt Teia once again.

Seer of the Past 07-17-2010 09:22 PM

Teia gave a scream as the thing lept at her. She felt frozen to the ground but hearing Tyrel she ran into her teepee and sat right out side of the door after wrapping up in pelts so it would be harder to see her. She watched scared not to watch and risk Tyrel dyeing. She didn't know what was happening or who that or what that thing was. She was really scared of it though.

Esmme 07-17-2010 10:16 PM

Vincent turned his attention to Tyrel as Teia moved away, furious. Instead of reacting in a completely animalistic fashion, the pale-skinned male merely stood straight, inclining his head. "They summoned me," he said, his voice a grating hiss. Parting his lips, Vincent tasted the air - blood. He could tell that both of these people were living, could sense their life flowing through their veins. It smelled . . . delicious. Tempting. "They want the both of you dead."

Suddenly looking rather shocked, Tyrel blinked slowly, his blue eyes filling with uncertainty. "How could they know so soon?" The elder elves. They had ways of knowing nearly everything, and Tyrel's relationship with a human had already caught their eye.
Vincent merely bore his fangs, darting forward in a blur of motion. Once again, Tyrel's water rushed over the creature, trapping the red-cloaked man in a column that slammed him into a tree roughly.
One word flickered through Tyrel's mind as he observed the fanged human - vampire.

((Got a comment to add in, or shall I continue?))

Seer of the Past 07-18-2010 02:25 AM

Teia gave a gasp hearing the stranger. He was here to kill them. what was going on? HSe was so confused. Why would someone want to kill her? She was just a human she did nothing wrong. She closed her eyes seeing him to for Tyrel again but sighed happily hearing thee water. She hoped this stranger would go away soon.

Esmme 07-18-2010 04:18 AM

"Her kind and ours don't mix well, silly elf." The vampire hissed, picking himself up off of the wet ground for a second time. Instead of going after either of them, he merely swayed, looking . . . weak. Vincent bore his fangs at Tyrel, but then fell to one knee, the daylight finally taking its toll on him.

"So they sent you," Tyrel said quietly, slowly taking a cautious step toward his enemy. When the dark-haired male merely nodded, unable to speak, the elf frowned again. Elves, unknown to most races, had complete dominion over a few vampire families. This . . . creature was just a pawn. One used, and thrown away. The elders could care less what happened to him.
Seeing the stream forming around the vampire, Tyrel took another step forward. Lifting a hand, he shifted Vincent's face to look up at him. The creature's black eyes were tinted with streaks of red, his lips parted in pain to reveal pearly fangs. "You aren't doing this because you wish us harm." Confusion flit through those duel-toned eyes. "And you're dying because you're here."

Vincent pulled his head away from the tall elf, scrambling to his feet and hissing. It didn't sound quite as threatening as he meant it to. "I do what I'm told," he growled, crouching. Unfortunately, he had less than half his reserve of strength left - the daylight would make him crumble into ash immediately, but he would burn to death under it's heat-filled rays.
Tyrel stepped forward after him, catching his ragged cloak by the clasp in front.
"Do you wish to perish?" he asked, the waters of the lake slowly returning to their source. His blue eyes locked on the vampire's, and Vincent merely grit his teeth, stiffening.

A burst of motion. Vincent struck Tyrel in the temple with his fist, knocking the elf to the ground. The vampire persisted, pinning the elf as firmly as he could. Just as he moved to sink his fangs into the male's dark skin, the water returned, rushing over him and pushing him into a tree hard enough to leave few broken branches tumbling down around him.
Tyrel was weary with his use of power - the more he used, the less he had. Getting up without a word, the elf moved to stand before the vampire, taking his collar in his hands and dragging Vincent toward his dwelling. "If you have a death wish, then you will perish slowly." The waters flit about, seemingly forcing the vines to wrap about Vincent and hold him like chains. As the vampire hissed and tried to strike out, they constricted, and he gasped in pain.
Turning away, Tyrel moved toward Teia's tepee, kneeling beside her wearily and stroking her head. "He won't attack again."

Seer of the Past 07-18-2010 04:25 AM

Teia watched in horror as the stranger hit Tyrel but as soon as he was close to her she jumped up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Are you hurt?" she asked looking at his temple worriedly. She looked into his eyes then kissed him lovingly. "I was so worried you would get hurt. Why was he here to kill us? I am only a human and have done nothing wrong" she said looking up at him. "I have told no one that the magical world is real" she said still confused why that man wanted to kill them.

Esmme 07-18-2010 04:37 AM

"I'm not supposed to be interfering with your world," Tyrel said, his blue eyes filling with something akin to regret. He stroked the side of her face after she kissed him, watching her intently. "The elders control his kind. He is only a servant to their will." His white hair slid in front of his face as he looked down guiltily. "And it's against my kind's laws to even interact with humans. They will kill you, for knowing. And they will kill me, for disobeying."
Kissing her forehead, Tyrel sighed. "I didn't know they still kept such a close eye on us. It's been generations since I've seen another being, let alone an elf." His face fell, and he looked sad for the first time since he'd known Teia. He refused to lift his face to look at her again, and he kept his blue eyes on the ground as he remained kneeling beside her. "I don't want to lose you to them."

-

From where he was Vincent struggled against his natural prison. Instead of snapping the vines, they constricted, making it hard to breathe (yes, he can breathe. -_-' I'm just going to make him a vampire-ish person, not completely one. :XD). With a hiss, the pale youth stopped struggling, forcing himself to remain still. Even after many minutes, the vines didn't loosen their tight hold. When he squirmed, they began to crush him even more, and Vincent let out a small cry of pain. This is ridiculous.

Seer of the Past 07-18-2010 04:43 AM

Teia looked up at him surprised. "Tyler you wot lose me. Is there any way I can become one of you?" she asked willing to do anything to be with him. She had nothing as a human so she didn't mind becoming an elf if that was posable. "I will do anything to be with you because Tyrel...." she lifted his chin so he was looking at her. "I love you" she said looking up at him. She had felt it all along but didn't know if it was truly love but now she knew. She moved some of his hair out of his face smiling at him. She stroked his cheek lovingly hoping there was a way they could be together forever.

Esmme 07-18-2010 04:56 AM

"I love you," Tyrel responded automatically, and he meant it. His dark hands moved to take her face and pull her to him, giving her a passionate kiss before he sat down beside her. "If you love me enough to abandon your life, then I cannot change your mind." I've already given my heart to you, Teia. I can't very well take it back. Elves were loyal creatures; only taking one mate in their entire lives was a natural occurrence. But the mere fact that she was human brought the elders down upon them.
"The elders might have a way to make you live longer," the elf said slowly. But they would never help us. With a mental sigh, he began shifting so he was sitting behind her. Pulling Teia back against him, he wrapped both arms about her shoulders. "But switching races entirely?" He shook his head. "I've never heard of such a thing."
Though his accented voice was quiet, it was laced with emotion. "It isn't like being one of them." His blue eyes shot over to Vincent, who was still fighting against his capture. "Vampires create more. They don't need to be born."

Seer of the Past 07-18-2010 05:02 AM

Teia's heart was alight hearing he loved her too. She kissed him back then smiled. "I love you more then you could imagen. I would give anything up to be with you forever." she said and snuggled into his arms more. "I don't think the elders would like that since they sent that man or what ever he is to kill us" she said and looked up at him. "But is there any way? Would another water elf know?" she asked willing to go searching for one. She would look to the ends of the earth just so she could be with Tyrel. "There has to be some way" she mused trying to think of a way.

Esmme 07-18-2010 06:48 AM

((>_>' This almost sounds like an Edward/Bella moment. -_-' LOL))

"There are very few others left," Tyrel said quietly, his blue eyes filling with gentle care. "I don't want to waste my time with you searching for something we may never find." The elf shifted his arms slightly, resting his cool hands over hers. "I don't know if we should ruin your life with a wild goose chase."
It was then that Tyrel suddenly looked up at the still struggling vampire. But we have someone on the inside. A favored servant. "But the vampire might be of some assistance." Looking thoughtful, Tyrel stroked Teia's hands softly. "Given time, I might be able to talk him into searching with us or at least giving us some assistance."

From where he was held, Vincent snarled at the couple. His sensitive hearing picked up everything they said. Help you my arse. He bore his fangs, struggling to draw yet another breath. If he was to survive the daylight hours, he needed to calm down and let the vines relax a bit.

Seer of the Past 07-18-2010 08:57 AM

"Tyrel I would go to the ends of the earth just to be with you forever. I am not going to live forever but you will and I want to be there the whole time you exist." Teia said sighing knowing it was all true. "Really? He might know?" she said happily and turned in his arms so she was side ways. SHe took her pelts off because she was getting really hot. "I will be right back." she said and got up and went into her teepee. She grabbed her cooler outfit and took off the one she was wearing and then pulled that one on. She walked back out not knowing when she had entered the door flap had opened enough for Tyrel to see in. She sat back in his lap sideways and looked up at him. "I was getting really hot" she said and leaned up against his chest now perfect.

Esmme 07-19-2010 06:59 AM

"Then we can search," the white-haired youth said, smiling at the woman as she stood. His blue gaze followed her to her tepee, where it lingered for a while.
The instant Teia returned to him, Tyrel stuttered over a reply, a blush creeping over his sharp features. Swallowing audibly, the elf then closed his mouth, his face getting even warmer. "I can imagine," he whispered, clearing his throat.

Seer of the Past 07-19-2010 07:10 AM

Teia giggled hearing him but seeing his face she wondered what had happened. "tyrel what is the matter?" she asked putting a hand on his cheek. She still had no idea abou her teepee flap. She was trying to figure out what had gotten him so worked up like this. She had never seen any one red before.

Esmme 07-19-2010 07:23 AM

Shaking his head, the elf turned his face away from her, closing his eyes and breathing deeply as he fought to control his embarrassment. "R-really. It's nothing." Feeling her hand on his cheek, Tyrel shuddered lightly, a small shiver running up his spine. "I-it's just . . ." he paused, his hand moving to cover hers, "rather warm out here." Despite his words, his skin was still cold to the touch. He wasn't warm.
Swallowing again, Tyrel let his eyes meet hers, and he couldn't help but stare for a few seconds. Completely starstruck, the young male merely reached up and touched her cheek, tracing over her lips gently before leaning forward and pressing his cool lips to hers softly. Instead of disappearing, Tyrel's blush merely lightened, creating a light dusting over his cheeks. "You're so beautiful."

Seer of the Past 07-19-2010 01:36 PM

"Are you sure?" Teia asked smiling at him. She closed her eyes enjoying him tracing her lips then she kissed him back. It was amazing how he felt cold but his lips were always warm to Teia. She smiled and pulled back. She looked up into those amazing eyes and couldn't help but kiss him again. She pulled back and curled closer to him. "Would you like something to eat? I can make soup." she offered hoping to warm him up. But it might be good if he was cold at night then he wouldn't get as cold as she got.

Esmme 07-19-2010 05:57 PM

"That sounds wonderful," Tyrel replied, smiling. With a quick glance to the sky, the elf registered what time of day it was. Roughly noon. "I haven't eaten since yesterday." Letting his arms wrap around her one last time, the tall male helped Teia to her feet, glancing in Vincent's direction. The vampire had fallen still, but was still watching them with crimson-streaked black eyes.
"I do believe we'll have to keep him fed as well," the dark-skinned elf said quietly, frowning. Only he won't be eating soup. Moving to help his friend as best he could to prepare the meal, Tyrel forced himself to stop thinking about the vampire. He can hold his peace for now.
