We Escaped Our Nightmare

A Can We Escape this Nightmare of Ours? side story~

Same setting as the original RP, only the asylum members have breached the main control room and are finally escaping the nightmare they've been sentenced too. Even though they are on the home stretch, the inmates still have some troublesome guards to get around as well as actually getting past the fence that surrounds the hellhole building. Will they actually make it out? Or will they forever be trapped within the cold, dark, death-like walls of the asylum?

Name: Nieko Colte

Age: 28 since last rebirth, but technically is over 3000 years old

Gender: Male, but if often mistaken for a female

Race: Fire Ninja

Personality: : A tad too girly at times, Nieko can’t help but love shopping and playing dress-up. To make things worse, he has a very feministic look. Checking him out from behind, you’d swear he’s a girl, but once he spins around, you’ll notice he’s not a “hot babe.” (Ha ha, poor Nieko-kun!) But looks aside, Nieko’s one powerful foe. And yet, for as strong as he is, he never uses all his strength. Stamina and speed are his things. He’s not strong, but since she’s speedy he packs quite the punch. He’s kind hearted and very passionate in all he does (and yet his a masochist!). Nieko is very opinionated and will often argue against a point he has firm beliefs on. He doesn’t like to be proven wrong or take no for an answer, but he does know when to back down. All and all, he’s one hell of a guy. But don't let his soft looks and gentle side fool you. If they do, you'll be dead. Nieko is actually an assassin for hire and can kill without any thought.

Powers: He can breath, spit, throw, block, deflect, whip, and control fire. He can also transform into a large fiery bird. Nieko can also transform into a simple hawk (he often uses this as a disguise).

Weakness: Water. He is defenseless against water attacks, floods, and anything else. Luckily, he can always fly away, but it'll still hurt him.

Side: Bad

Bio/History: Nieko is a servant to a man he's not going to be revealing. But, with his lord away, Nieko figured why not get himself a job. After realizing not many people hire assassins, Nieko went on a trip. Flying about, he soon came to the asylum. With a large devious look on his face, Nieko sent down a rain of fire. Landing within the walls, Nieko swiftly moved about in his mission to find the owner.

Passing Kage's spot, Nieko practically growled and vowed he'd kill the 'damn punk,' one day. Making his way to the boss' layer, Nieko filled out some paperwork and within seconds was given a uniform. Only, he turned it down saying, "I'll either fight like this, or I'll kill you all." Cold-hearted as always, Nieko ended up winning his 'bargaining.'

When walking about the place, the wannabe escapees seem to just ignore him. After all, Nieko doesn't look like a real threat. Only, if they should try to escape, Nieko will prove them otherwise. He's not one to unleash hell, but he'll get close as the jaded male loves to make those that disobey him... suffer. So, escapees, do your best to avoid Nieko or he might be the last thing you'll ever hear, breath, and see.

Other: His flames are green in color, and he often fights with dual fire swords, a katana, a pistol, shuriken, and, of course, fire. Although, Nieko is a skilled assassin, so he can turn pretty much anything into a weapon.

Menewsha Name: FidelisRaor

Name: Dranz di Ralz

Age: Appears: 23, Actually 183

Gender: Male

Race: Dragon

Personality: He can be fairly assertive when he wants to be, but for the most part does not state his own ideas. He is quick to anger and will often attack when someone comes too close after he has been tortured.

Powers: Flight, claws, and the ability to breath fire. If there is enough space and he is enraged enough then he will take on the form of a dragon instead of the normal humanoid shape. Because of this being is true form his strength is greatly concentrated in his humanoid form to the point where he can break through weakened metal.

Weakness: Dragonsbane can greatly weaken or paralyze him if it comes in contact with his skin. If it is ingested then he will become weakened close to the point of death. If he is bound he is unable to take flight or using his claws. Bells act as a hypnotic or put him to sleep. The drowsiness will greatly decrease his strength back to that of a strong human.

Side: Good

Bio/History: At one point his schizophrenia was enough to handle: the voices were there but able to be ignored. As his strength was a great asset he had signed up to be one of the guards, wanting a challenge. After working in the asylum one night, the voices became too much to handle as if they were being stirred by something. They urged him to go against the guards, and unable to take it he tore down most of them. After he was adequately restrained he became a member of the asylum for good. Most of the time he is restrained in a straight jacket as each night the nightmares invade his mind and the voices urge him to kill. He is growing tired of waking up afraid and enraged, as well as the need to kill and hopes to escape in order to return to a more 'normal' life. He is so desperate that at times he can be seen ramming his head against a wall in an attempt to get out.

Other: He seems happiest when in the sun or outside. He hates when people ask him how he ended up in the asylum or when the guards try to talk to him.

Menewsha Name: Dear Lelie

Name: Luca Di'Amore

Age: 17

Gender: female

Race: Genie

Personality: At times Luca is a bit naive she is a little shy at first because during her life she had very little reaction with other people other than her family. Sometimes she's overly chatty, but that happens rarely at times due to her shyness usually overpowering her bubbliness.

Powers: Mostly healing magic and a bit of time magic, but if you take her hair clips she will grant you three wishes within certain boundries. Also has a bit of control over water.

Weakness: Fire magic or lightning magic. Also when it rain too much or snows too much her water magic looses a lot of its strength due to the mass amounts of it


Side: Good, escapee that found Kage

Bio/History: Luca was a child of a baron and his mistress. Surprisingly the mistress happened to be genie. The trait full passed on to her daughter which was surprising. The father took her in and said she was adopted to his wife with out informing the baroness that it was his illegitimate daughter. She was raised as royalty growing up as a baron's adopted daughter.She was easily accepted by all her siblings and they loved her as their own. Until one day.

The young woman's mother showed up at the door asking to see her daughter. The genie garbed in shawl begged the baroness to see the daughter. Baroness got the young woman who was bewildered as she had not known she was adopted. As tears stung her eyes she leaped forward and began choking her real mother. While Luca was choking her the baroness dragged her off of her mother. Her mother spat that she was the baron's daughter and the baroness went to choke Luca. As the Baron returned home he decided it was best to send his illegitimate daughter away for the sake of the family and his name... thus she ended up in the asylum.

Luca then being in the asylum felt hurt. She didn't belong here, why couldn't they have sent her to boarding school. After spending sometime in the asylum she began to sneak around in certain hours finding her way around the complex. She has been caught and beaten many times, but she feels hardly any pain anymore. One day she stumbled upon a boy in a tube. She was intrigued by him and began to visit him periodically.

Appearance/Looks:

Other: Luca has never really interacted with males other than her own family. She was kept in for most of her life. So she sometimes becomes very flustered around Kage and other males.

Also her body is covered in quite the many scars so she tries to keep them covered. The military officials there have beaten her time and time again for lurking around in the other areas especially when they find her with Kage.
