Kyousuke was doing his usual late night walk after finishing up with his work. He was always working and then his boss forced him to take a 2 week vacation. They needed less people working anyways. While passing by an ally, he head a bunch of comotion (sorry can't spell that word very well) and stopped looking over. He saw a kid getting beaten up and then left on the side as the other guys took off. He wondered if the kid was okay and walked over to him. He realized he not only had bruises but also cuts and scrapes too. 'Not to bad looking for a kid' he thought to himself.

He felt sorry for the kid and decided to take him back to his place. He picked up the kid and walked back to his apartments which wasn't too far from where they were originally. The kid didn't weigh much and when they got there he unlocked the door going into his apartment. He shut the door putting the kid on the couch and leaving to get a blanket. Covering the kid up and putting a pillow under his head he began to clean up the cuts and bruises.

Kaden was out cold.He had never been beaten so bad before.Last thing he remembered was getting pushed against the wall and getting knocked out from the blow.His eyes slowly opened.The first thing he felt was a sharp pain.....well everywhere.He shot up and fell off the couch when he got face to face with a man.Kaden sat there on the floor for about three and a half seconds before jumping up and staring down at the man."Who the hell are you? Where the hell am I?"He shouted.The pain was shooting through his body although he didn't really care at this point.He wanted to know who this guy was and why he was in an apartment and not in the dirty ally.

"Woah, calm down. You're gonna make the pain worse. Sit down" Kyousuke replied trying to get him to sit down at least. "I'm Kyousuke, even though I don't know who you are, I'm not going to leave some kid in an ally where he could die from a wound" showing him the small stab wound on his side. "Now please sit while I get some advil" Kyousuke answered.

Kaden looked at the man suspiciously and slowly sat back down on the couch."Well I suppose I owe you a thanks...oh and I'm not a kid either.I'm old enough to drink.If your going to call me something call me Kaden.....since it's my name."He said.

"Well Kaden, what do you wish to drink?" Kyousuke asked heading to the small kitchen and also grabbing the advil "Well you look like a kid, and that's how I saw you to be. You can have anything to drink but not alcohol because it wouldn't be good until you felt better. Besides I don't have any in the apartment." Kyousuke replied and added "I have different types of juice, water, soda, Tea, and milk"

Kaden tilted his head some and then slowly shook his head."Diffrent types of juice,soda,tea,milk,and even water?"He whispered mostly to himself.Kaden sat there for a moment thinking about what he should ask Kyousuke.He finally looked over and the man."Do you have orange juice?...Or or maybe some lemonade."He said.Kaden slowly laid down on the couch and flinched feeling the pain as he laid down. This is going to take a while to heal up......He thought to himself.

"I have orange juice, I don't have any lemonade though." He said pouring some orange juice in a glass and walking back to him along with the medicine. "Here are two advils and your drink" he held out his hand to him to give him the medcine and put the glass on the coffee table.

Kaden lifted his arm and lifted and took the advils from Kyousuke.He slowly sat back up and leaned over,picking up the glass of orange juice.He put the two advils in his mouth and quickly swallowed them down with the orange juice.When he was done he set the empty glass down on the coffee table.Kaden looked up at Kyousuke."Thanks man.I promise I'll leave first thing in the morning."He said.

"Oh don't worry about it. You really should get those wounds dressed properly though. You can stay here if you like, I'm a doctor so this would be like a free visit thing" Kyousuke replied and walked out of the room for a moment to go check on the beef stew he had been planning for two weeks to make. "It may be none of my business, but what happened out there for that to take place?" Kyousuke asked out loud wondering if those people would be out to get him again.

Kaden laid back down on the couch."Alright Doc....well it's a long story.I was hanging out at one of the large clubs.This girl walked up to me and decides to make me her new boyfriend.She was drunk also.Anyway her REAL boyfriend and his gang walk up to me and grabbed my arm.I tryed to explain but this guy didn't want to listen.He just brought me into a dark ally and his friends and him started to beat me.....some people are just so....."He stopped his sentence and just sighed.He didn't really have words to express his emotions towards that guy.Kaden just stopped speaking and stared up at the ceililng.

"Ah, so it was a misunderstanding. Well I have two weeks off of work. I had no choice in that matter, so which club was it?" Kyousuke asked and wondered whom the guys were. He might have been a doctor but he grew up doing what he could for himself and others including stopping any bullies that tried to take him down. A couple times he had lost but after awhile he won.

Kaden sighed rubbing his temples...."Ahhhhh I don't even remember.It was a couple blocks away from the ally so it couldn't have been very far."He said sitting up.Kaden stomach growled when the aroma of food floated into the living room.He slowly sat up and shuffled over to the kitchen."So what are you making? It smells really good."Kaden said with a smile.

"Beef stew, I've been trying to make it for about two weeks now and with a guest it certainly helps." Kyousuke replied turning off the burner adding "Well now after it sits and cools for five minutes then it should be ready. Did you want to something else to drink while we wait?"

Kaden smiled."Well it smells pretty good.I can't wait to have some....oh no I'm good.I'm pretty good right now.Maybe when I start to eat I'll have something."He said sitting down on one of the benches.Kaden looked over at Kyousuke."Not to be personal but do you live here by yourself or do you have a wife or a roomate of some kind?"He asked a bit curious.

"Thanks" kyousuke responded when the kid said his meal smelled good. "No, I don't have anyone in my life. I haven't dated for over 3 years now but that's because I am always over working at the hospital." Kyousuke answered stirring the beef stew without looking back at him and then put the lid on the pan and sat down across from Kaden.
