Reserved for Louis and SMG Only.

Names: Kaede and Kaito Motou
Age: 23
Race: Human
Bio: Kaede and Kaito are twin thieves that live in a hidden shack deep in the woods. After living out their childhood with a band of traveling monks, they ran away to live their own life. And they found that it could be achieved quite easily through stealing. As such they have lived by the earnings from stealing and selling valuables from the wealthy. The only difference between the two is in Kaito, who has one gray and one blue eye. Kaede's eyes are both gray.

Appearance:

-------

Kaede made it back into the camp with an armful of wood for tonights fire. The day hadn't turned out to be too warm or cold, so keeping a fire tonight would be fairly easy. He set the bundle down by the pit Kaito had dug and stood back up to stretch. Kaito was sitting crosslegged on the other side of the pit. A line of corks was laid out in front of him, arranged in color from darkest to lightest. His brother was currently staring at the corks with intense eyes. As if studying them for something. Kaede rolled his eyes and turned away toward the shack. He never questioned his brother about the weird habits. Kaeade was the strength and speed of the two; Kaito was the brains. When Kaito wasn't having one of his paranoia attacks, he could read into peoples patterns and habits so well that stealing from them barely took an effort. Kaede had no idea how his brother did it, but he didn't really care as long as it worked.

Kaito heard his brother disappear into the shack and let out a sigh. He reached forward and switched around two of the corks at the right end of the line. He liked his collection of toys, but it wasn't always enough. Kaede was never much for talking. Which left him with nothing but the things he collected and the tiny creatures that would scamper into camp from time to time. He wanted to talk with his brother, but Kaede would only get annoyed. Kaede didn't like smalltalk chatter. Kaito sighed again and tilted his head back to look up at the branches overhead. A little bird sat up there, singing its heart out. He smiled and whistled back.

Name: Raiden and Batara Unai
Age: 19
Race: Unai
Bio: Like the thieves, Raiden and Batara are also twins though they are hunters and very loyal. Unlike their namesake, these Unai do not have a clan to call their own. Fearing the seperation that they knew was coming, seeing as they were the top two hunters, the twins took an alternate option and fled. You see, how the Unai work is the top hunters are married into the other Unai villages to keep ties strong and Batara was going to be married off in the upcoming months. These two took the role of mercenaries for hire like many others did. Though Unai usually don't kill, they will bring in a bounty to allow justice to be brought down. The twins had been hired by a city that had been frequented by a couple of thieves.

Appearance:

----------

Two black forms were darting through the woods, the smaller one taking off further and quicker than the larger one. Bird-like chirps came from the smaller one as she darted through the trees, clearly having more fun than the other.

"Batara, you keep this up and you're going to wind up in an ambush one day, the larger figure chirpped back as he fought to keep up with the smaller one. The chrips only brought a hyena-like laugh from the smaller form as she jumped onto the trunk of a tree and slowly climbed up.

"I could take 'em you know that Raiden," she chirpped back as she continued her leaps from one branch to another. That was true though, and Raiden knew it. While Batara usually seemed so full of energy and quite petite, she had yet to find a worthy opponent. The larger black form, the male, he was usually calm. He tended to read a person and corner them. He wasn't brash and did not run into situations that would involve fighting. The two were polar opposites at time but they were inseperable.

At that point they were in search for their newest targest, a couple of thieves. Raiden couldn't see how they were actually going to find them with Batara in this mood but she had yet to let him down. He didn't follow her into the trees though he made sure to try and keep up with his faster sister anyway.

Batara kept running until the sound of an off tune bird caught her ear. It wasn't like the others and her course quickly changed, her brother barely able to keep up.

The bird above Kaito suddenly went quiet, then took off into the sky. He frowned and looked around at the trees. His sharp ears picked up a slight, quick rustling through the leaves a ways off. He gathered the corks and got to his feet, heading for the shack. He nudged the rickety door open to find Kaede sitting on the floor sharpening his knives. Kaede looked up, then quickly got to his feet at the look on Kaito's face. "What's going on?" Kaede asked.

Kaito dropped the corks on his bunk before turning back to Kaede. "Footsteps, coming this way, and they're fast. Two of them maybe," he answered. Kaede nodded grimly and took up one of the knives before heading out the door. Kaito took a second knife and followed.

Now Unai were notoirously graceful creatures, at least most of the time. Batara could fall in and out of the category about as often as the wind changes direction. The smaller black creature was darting from tree to tree without second thoughts as to where she was going. Leaping from branch to branch the female heard the sound stop and almost just as quickly as it stopped a slight 'creak' echoed through her ears. Speeding up momentarily she leapt from one tree to the next before finally slowing to a stop to where she thought she had heard the bird. Do you see anything? She chirpped to her brother as the thick foliage of the trees didn't seem to help her at this point.

Raiden was about to respond when there was a series of small cracks and then his sister falling the branches, her body thudding agianst the ground. He started laughing at the girl but looking up to where they had been heading he saw two males, two armed males. His hyena-like laugh stopped suddenly and he took a step closer to his sister, his ears down, a slight growl coming from his throat.

Both brothers stood their ground at seeing the two creatures appear. Kaede frowned at the growl from one creature. He had never seen things like these before. He shouldn't assume too much, but he at least prepared himself in case the creatures were dangerous. He took a different stance, one more easy to attack from if needed.

Kaito thought differently though. He saw the protective stance of the one creature and lowered his knife. He touched Kaede on the shoulder lightly. "Kaede, lets leave them be. They're just creatures looking out for eachother," he said in a hushed tone. Kaede barely even glanced back at him though, keeping his posture. "Don't be foolish, Kaito. Until these creatures leave, keep yourself wary," he replied bitterly. Kaito frowned and withdrew his hand from his brother.

Raiden was keeping his guard up and that in itself set Batara off. Jumping to her feet she didn't take the same stance as her brother, rather she walked a large arc around the twins before them. They're who we've been looking for aren't they? She chirpped though she wasn't expecting an answer and her brother knew that. Pausing by the male that had left his defensive position she took a step closer and sniffed. Jumping back, her black and yellow eyes narrowed as she chripped, Yup, these are our boys. Batara's body began to change; the black fur being replaced with pale skin, white hair, and elegant white clothing. Her body was bent over from the shift and she straightened as soon as it was complete. A smirk crossed her face as she said, "It would be wise for you to listen to your companion. You really don't want to get into a fight that you'll lose." She paced over to the boy that still held his weapon ready, her hands resting on her hips near the small of her back where a series of fans, darts, and other small weapons were located.

Raiden shook his head; he wasn't about to change form so soon and reveal his identity, especially to the two they were sent out to bring in. He did however keep an eye on his sister. He was more than well aware of her ability to rub people the wrong way and while she was the better fighter (seeing as she actually went for blood), the male couldn't help but be protective of his younger sister.

Kaede gave her a cold smirk. "If it's a fight you're looking for, then bring it. I can take both of you easily," he replied. Behind him, his brother Kaito simply sighed and shook his head. Kaito pocketed his knives and took a step forward toward the girl. "Listen," he began, "We really don't mean you two any harm. Are you just passing through, or is there something you're looking for?" he asked. Kaito held up his hand once to silence Kaede's protest before it left his brothers mouth. Kaito didn't want to get the both of the injured, or killed, for any smartass remarks Kaede might make. The brothers were only talented in using the close confines of a city or town; not the open land of a forest. And Kaito knew these two strangers could beat them easily because of that.

Batara ran her tongue slowly over her top teeth as she rasied her upper lip to expose them slighlty. She didn't have sharp canines or anything, but it was an action that meant all the same. The girl then slid her hand behind her back where her own arsenle was kept, but she wasn't going for that. Pulling out a small knife she held it between her two index fingers, lifting it up to her eyes. "A decent blade, definitly of human origin," she said aloud, though clearly not to herself.

The larger black creature shook its head before taking a step beside the human appearing girl as his shape changed much as hers had. He had the same pale hair, eyes, and skin though he was taller and from his demeanor, much calmer. "Batara, much you insist on jumping to such tactics?" He asked the girl, his eyes on the weapon though he was watching the duo from the corner of his eyes.

The white haired girl rolled her eyes before saying, "Don't give me that brother." Her voice was bitter, just this side of venom laced as she shot the male a dark look. "You know these are the ones, this weapon smells just like them. Besides, the sooner we take them in the sooner we can leave this forsaken town."

Kaede's eyes narrowed and he moved to block Kaito from the two. "Bounty hunters, huh? You two must be pretty desperate to go after small game like us." He relaxed his grip finally on his knives, but still kept them at the ready. He glanced back to Kaito. "Go inside. You won't be any use in a fight like this," he ordered in a low voice to his brother.

Kaito gave him a bit of a hurt look, but nodded and shuffled back to the shack. He hated it when Kaede ordered him around, and even more so when he knew his brother was right. Kaito could offer a few distractions in the midst of a fight, but nothing more. And these two newcomers were a bit different than the average target.

"Am I going to have to assume that you wish to fight this one alone Batara?" Raiden asked as he rested his right elbow on the massive sword at his back. He knew his sister though, she never backed down from a fight unless she had some plan already thought out that would either avoid the conflict or get her where she wanted faster. She may have been smart, at least in battle, but the boy still found her techniques too brash and reckless.

A smirk came to Batara's face as she said, "Why do you ask dear brother? Is it because you wish to fight this one?" Without a second thought to it, the girls fingers flicked and sent the blade she was holding into the side of the shack, just beside the remaining male. That was when her attention shifted back to one of the targets. "A bounty is a bounty and Unai don't complain," she stated boredly as she tried to figure out if her brother was going to jump into a fight for once. He was too hard to read for her though, he was most of the time, so she would have to wait and see what happened.

Kaito blinked at the sword that landed in the wall so close to his face. Then he frowned, half turning back to look at the girl. "Thanks. Now I have to repair that later," he snapped before turning back to duck into the shack.

Kaede glanced back to the sword in the wall with a smirk. "Great show of strength. But if I had really wanted to spill your blood, that little move would've given me an opening. Circumstances being what they are, which includes me being tired as hell, I'm more inclined to make a deal with you two."

"Sorry, I don't make deals and for future matters it would serve you well not to underestimate me," Batara sstated in a bored voice as she reached her hand to the small of her back once again. Her finger tips lightly brushed the various objects that rested there. Her eyes remained locked, though her attention was also on the 'hidden' twin.

"What kind of deal are we talking?" Raiden said, though what his intentions were were even hidden from his sister at this point. It was clear who was more into the bloodshed but that didn't mean that male wasn't a capable fighter as well.

Kaede looked to the male twin, a smile on his face. "Good to see someone here is reasonable. Being the theives that we are, we keep tabs on other theives so we don't end up fighting over the same find. Anyone of them is worth far more than us two, I can assure you. Kaito keeps records of them."

"I will have a word with Kaito," Raiden replied calmly before looking over to the shack. "I will see just how valuable these other thieves are. Batara, be a good little sister and keep an eye on this one." He then calmly walked passed the male and towards the shack to await entrance.

Batara didn't like this idea at all. "Don't think that just because he's looking that it means you're off the hook," she told him bitterly. "You're our target, not them." The younger girl kept her hand at her back, she didn't trust these guys even if they were cooperating somewhat. It was just instinct though; she rarely, if ever let her guard down.

Kaito heard one of the two approaching and he went to see which it was. It came as little surprise that it was the brother instead of the sister. She was too much like Kaede for that. "What is it?" he asked, keeping the door cracked open only by a bit.

Kaede nodded. "Point well taken. But it would be shame to have to fight such a pretty girl," he teased, a smirk growing on his face. He wondered if she responded well to teasing. He assumed she wasn't, but it was fun to tease girls like her anyways. Nevermind the possible knife that could come flying at him.

"A list," Raiden replied bluntly as he stopped at the door. "Your partner said you had a list of the other thieves. He is asking to bargain for your freedom with the information on said list." The boy was quite surprised that Batara hadn't moved from her stare down with the other male, but then again from what he heard the male might be able to keep her occupied for a little while at least.

Batara pulled a fan from her back and opened it, casually waving the object though it wasn't to cool herself down. "Oh, it wouldn't be much of a fight I can assure you that," she retorted plainly as her eyes gave off a bored impression. "I don't think you would last long because hun, I'm much more than just a pretty girl."

Yeah, he keeps talking that way and Batara will be busy for a while, Raiden thought with a sigh at the sound of his sister's cockiness.
