Kay looked up at him smiling. She nodded and kissed his nose. "I trust you" she whispered and laid her head back onto his chest. "Falkner I am so glad you are here" she whispered and found her self falling asleep. She felt so relaxed and comfortable in his arms. She clutched onto his shirt and wouldn't let go. She snuggled closer to him and buried her face into his chest. SHe hadn't been sleeping well from nightmares so she was pretty tired. She was so happy she was smiling in her sleep.

Falkner was now glad that Kay wasn’t crying anymore. A large smirk emerged onto the young man’s face as he held onto the girl’s hips. When she laid her head on his chest, this gave him even more peace of mind in thinking that she was on the road to recovery. The feeling of having his world so close to his heart made him feel a little poetic in a way. The separation of the two would definitely be a bad case on both sides, so they would have to work to keep things going smoothly between them. “I’m glad I’m here for you, sweetheart. Things are all good now.” He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. He had the same dream he always did, holding the love of his life whoever she was, even though now he knew who she was, but there was something more calming about this one particular fantasy. Falkner was dancing with the girl slowly with a crowd watching them, but he wasn’t worried like you usually was.

Kay smiled in her sleep and after a few hours of sleep she woke and smiled looking up at the man she loved with her whole heart. She giggled quietly as she realised he was still holding her waist, but she loved it. She felt so safe when he did. She snuggled closer to him and never wanted to move. "I wouldn't and I can't live without you" she whispered and kissed his neck softly not wanting wake him.

Falkner snored lightly as he kept his firm, protective grip on Kaiea’s waist. He tightened his hold, more than he loosened it in his slumber. Eventually, he looped his arms around her when he pressed herself closer against his torso and sighed in a pacified manner. The young man stirred in his sleep once Kay’s lips touched his neck, but he remained in his drowsy trance. Not too long afterward, he began to open his eyes and saw that the girl was awake now. “Wow, this is a surprise,” he said groggily, “how long have you been up? Wait what time is it, babe?”

Kay smiled as he pulled her closer and and kept as close to him. She smiled and kissed his nose hearing his morning voice. "Not that long love. A few minutes maybe." she said softly. "Its about 9 love" she whispered and kissed his nose again. "But you can sleep longer if you would like" she said smiling at him. His morning voice was so cute she couldn't believe it. He seemed to get cuter and more adorable every day. Just then her cell rang and she reached over and picked it up. She got close to Falkner again. "Hello.....oh hi mom....yeah I am fine.....no he is taking very good care of me.....wait!? now?.....ok can you wait a little while longer?.....no nothing is happing.....yes ok....thank you.....bye mom.....love you too" she said and hung up. "Falkner love my mom is coming over later. She just got in the airport" she said and looked at him worried. "Will you be ready?" she asked softly.

Falkner smiled that the gift that he received and the additional one of hearing Kay speak. When she told him what time it was, he just nodded. It was just a little bit later than what he would normally wake up at. Shaking his head, the young man whispered, “Nah, I’d rather stay up and look at you then dream about it.” A large grin burst onto his face as the sunlight gave Kay a beautiful glow as she leaned to get her phone. Falkner laid quietly as Kaeia spoke on the phone, caressing her sides. When she addressed the person on the other line as Mom it made him slightly anxious. He furrowed his eyebrows when the dreaded words came out of Kay’s mouth. “Damn it,” he mumbled, “Yeah I’ll be ready when she gets here.” This was going to be excruciating if he didn’t have his love with him.

Kay sighed and laid her head on his chest. "I am sorry about all of this. If she didn't come then I wouldn't be able to stay with you and the thought of that makes me depressed." she said and looked up at him sadly. She felt bad that he had to deal with her mother for she would be horrible. "And don't worry I wont leave you" she whispered knowing how bad her mother was going to be and she didn't want to put Falkner threw that by himself. "I wont ever leave you" she said and kissed his neck. "Don't stop" she whispered not wanting him to stop caressing her sides. She couldn't believe how amazing it felt.

Falkner shook his head and said, “Nah, it’s all good. It’s something that needs to be done.” A crooked smile crept onto his face and he continued, “I’d do anything for you, Kay. I got shot for you so that should be proof enough. He laughed at his joke and kissed her belly tenderly. When he got Kaeia’s assurance that she would never leave him, Falkner began to rub her curves a little bit more. Seeing how much the girl enjoyed it, he looked into her eyes, getting lost in them while he kept her close to him. “Wow, you sure are a bad girl. You had me thinking you were so innocent,” the rebel chortled as he went on, “I kinda like this side of you.”

Kay smiled and blushed. "Well I feel comfortable with you. Like you wont hurt me" she whispered and couldn't say any more for she was lost in how wonderful him rubbing her sides felt. "and every girl has her bad side no matter how innocent" she whispered and kissed his neck. She looked back into his eyes and knew what she wanted.....him. She kissed him deeply never wanting to part their lips for a second. He was just so amazing and wonderful and his tast matched him perfectly.

Falkner flashed a tiny smile when Kay told him how comfortable she was with him. “Well I’m glad you know that I am trustable. Just keep that in mind, okay sweetheart?” A small grin reappeared as the girl talked about the dark side to females in general and a chuckled escaped his lips as she kissed his neck. “You sure you want to do this Kay?” Falkner assumed her answer was the burning kiss that she planted on him. Taking in everything that was going on between them, emotions were running high and the young man’s heart was pounding against his chest. Their chemistry mixed so potently, it would have been lethal to anyone that would have been around them. Falkner continued to massage Kaeia’s curves.

Kay smiled looking at him. "Yes I want this but I don't want to risk my mother coming now" she whispered and kissed his neck again. "But yes I want you" she whispered again her breath caressing his neck. SHe closed her eyes enjoying everything. The feelings, the way he felt this close to her, how wonderful it felt as he rubbed her sides, and how it seemed like their hearts were beating as one. Kay kept close to Falkner never wanting to move away from him. "Falkner we should get ready for my mother" she whispered but didn't move. She found she didn't want to. She wanted to lay there with him all day.

Falkner tried to think things through, but his judgment was being clouded by his emotions. Finally, he whispered, “Kay, wait. I want us to take our time. I know that we have finally realized that we love each other, but I don’t want you to do this so soon.” His voice was low and gentle as he attempted to reason with the young lady. “Hon, I want you too, trust me, but not at this point in time. Give it a little time,” he pleaded softly. When she mentioned her mother, Falkner moaned to himself. “Alright, when do we have to leave?” He was completely at ease with Kaeia resting on his chest and getting up seemed like an impossible task. As if they shared the same body.

Kay sighed and nodded. "Yes. I think you are right. To be honest I think I would wake in the middle of the night screaming." she whispered and kept close. "Well...um.....she is coming here" she whispered and looked up at him scared. She was worried he would be even more mad knowing she was coming there. She hoped her mother wouldn't find anything wrong.

Falkner rested his forehead against the top of Kay’s head and kissed her hair. “Okay, just let things happen naturally, alright,” he whispered quietly. When he was told that Kaeia’s mother was on her way at the moment, his eyes popped. “Wait, she’s coming as in right now? Oh that isn’t good; we have to get ready now, Kay.” He jumped up, holding onto Kay’s waist and dashed to his room. Falkner rummaged through his clothes, looking for a suit or anything remotely formal. This continued for a about 5 minutes until he found a button down shirt, a vest and a pair of khaki pants. “I guess this’ll have to do for tonight,” Falkner mumbled to himself and when he changed into it, he looked to Kay for her opinion. “What do you think, sweetheart?”

Kay giggled and walked over t him. "Yes you look handsome" she whispered and kissed his nose. "I think we should clean a little bit more before she gets here." she said and went to the kitchen. She started cleaning and then she started shaking. She was scared her mom wouldn't like Falkner and that she would be forced to go back home.

Falkner began to feel at ease when Kay expressed her approval of his outfit and turned a light red when she kissed his nose. “Ah, babe you know how to calm a guy down. So I’m guessing she’ll be fine with the clothes you’re wearing right now,” he said curiously. He followed behind Kay as she headed for the kitchen to clean some more. With a tiny impish smile, the young man hugged the girl’s waist from behind and whispered, “Don’t be nervous about this. That’s my job, your job is to look beautiful and figure out where you’re going to put your stuff when your mom decides to let you stay.” Falkner leaned down and kissed Kaeia on her cheek while keeping his hold gently.

Kay let out a squeak but then smiled. She went red hearing him. "A-alright" she breathed and her heart raced. "I think she will but they are the only ones I have" she giggled. She had lost all her clothes but one outfit she was wearing. She wrapped her arms around his and leaned back. "I think I will just move everything into your room since that is where I will want to be" she said looking at him and kissed his cheek.

Falkner grinned triumphantly that he could make Kay blush lovingly. He nuzzled his cheek against hers playfully while holding onto her gently. A loud laugh floated into the air at the comment that Kaeia made about moving in. “Well I kinda figured that you would want to move in there. There is a toll to pay to get in there you know,” he said teasingly. When she kissed him on the cheek, his face lit up like a Christmas tree on steroids. Falkner growled playfully at her when a knock echoed throughout the room. “Oh shit, that’s not good. You don’t think…” He stopped midsentence, released Kay and ran into his room. He whispered to her pleadingly, “If that’s your mom, stall her until I get dressed. I make you this promise, you will be my roomy by the time this night’s over with.” A reassuring smile flickered onto his face before closing the door.

Kay nodded and opened the door. "Mom" she said shocked. "Hello dear" her mother said and hugged her. Kay hugged back and prayed her mother would be annoyed that Falkner wasn't there yet. "So where is this boy you are living with?" her mother said walking in and looking around looking disgusted with the place. "He is changing. He should be out soon. Why don't we sit down till he comes out and talk" she said and sat down on the couch. Her mother followed. "So have you been happy with this boy?" her mother asked. "Yes mom he is so amazing. And he takes very good care of me too" she said and thought of how he had confronted the guys who had rapped and almost killed her.

Falkner paced around the room as quietly as possible for him. He could hear the questions that Kaeia’s mom was asking her and knew that if something unexpected happened, he was done like dinner. Dinner! That was a probable answer to his dilemma, but what would a rich socialite want to eat that he had in his apartment? It didn’t really matter, but he had to get out there before Kay’s mom decided to leave the apartment. Snatching his outfit off of the bed, Falkner began to change his clothes. It took him a little while to get into his clothes, but they weren’t his style to be honest although desperate times called for desperate measures. The young man felt like he was about to go to his own funeral, but at the same time, the reward would be better than anything else waiting for him on the other side of the door. Falkner walked out of the room and stopped in front of the sofa. “Hello, ma’am it’s a pleasure to have you here,” he said, trying to mask the bitterness of the words on his tongue. He gave an awkward bow and stepped over to the armchair next to the women.

KAy looked up and smiled. He had changed, just to keep her here. She giggled softly loving how awkwardly he bowed and walked. He had obviously never worn that before. She smiled at him loving that he was trying so hard to get her to stay. "Yes I am sure it is." her mother said looking this boy over. "So you are the man taking care of my baby? Well before I let her stay in your care because for some reason she has grown very fond of you I need to ask you questions." she said and before either Kay or Falkner could say anything she jumped right in with the questions. "So do you have a job?"

Falkner chuckled nervously at the question. “Yes ma’am, I’m Falkner and it’s nice to meet you,” he said, smoothing out his pants. He felt slightly uneasy under the woman’s gaze. It may have been the judgment that was going to be passed on him or it was probably just the intense pressure of trying to convince her to allow her daughter to stay with him. With another nervous chuckle, he replied, “Yes ma’am, right now I am working in a bookstore at the moment, but I’m on paid leave for now.” Falkner looked over at Kay, hoping she could help him in some kind of way.

Her mother shook her head. "Mother do you really think he would leave me alone with the way I am right now?" she said and got up. She went and sat by Falkner. She smiled at him and took his hand. "I am glad he has taken the time off." her mother looked at them looking slightly discussed. "Well how do you plan on taking care of my daughter?" she asked thinking he wouldn't be good at taking care of her.

Falkner nodded in agreement with Kaeia’s words. It was true except with the incident with her rapist. “Well, right now I’m still getting benefits from my last ‘accident’, but I have a friend who’s got a business idea and we were going to put it into action when all of the issues were situated,” he said, locking eyes with her mother. The woman was definitely going to be difficult to please, but he would have to do his best for his own and Kay’s sake.

Her mother nodded. "And what is this job?" she asked and Kay shook her head. Kay put her head on his shoulder. "Mom please stop asking him so many questions. Can't you tell he can take care of me?" she said angrily. "This is why I still live at home. you scare them off." she said and kissed his cheek.
