Luna kept her glance towards the other direction.She calmed herself for the moment.'You all can eat..I will be back in abit.Vlad your in charge while im gone.'Luna said in a soft tone as she dashed off toward the sound of waterfalls.Her two legs made her run very fast.She ran faster then the average wolf and human.She leaped over the objects that where in her way in a hurry to get away from the clan.This always happend as the sun was setting,being reminded of her mistakes,her parents,the past.She remebered the maim and slaughter.She needed to get away before she completely lost her mind.

Vladimir laughed and looked at everyone. He chuckled when his ears where ran over so to speak and then looked at Luna with the hope of pie. "I hope so." He said softly looking pretty hungry himself. HE thought Luna looked pretty in the last rays of light but kept it to himself and in wolf form it was easy. Looking around he blinked. "I feel out of place." He said simply before shifting again. "Should we start a fire for the evening?" he asked softly. Then she left. Of course he sighed and looked around. Grabbing a pie he looked at the precut slices. "Alright come on eat a little bit see how you like it. I think if we're all in human form it would be best to have a fire." He said.

With a nod, Seth moved to gather a bit of the wood they'd set aside earlier, starting a fire as fast as he could before moving to pull Terra to sit with them. In a triangle-like circle, the youth watched the pie with an intense interest, amber eyes wide. He was ready to eat - definitely ready. His stomach growled, giving away that he was a bit more hungry than he dared admit.
Chuckling, Seth sat cross-legged, watching Vladimir with the pies. "Which one first?" he asked in his usual rough tone, coughing to the side before licking his lips and glancing back to the food. |
Luna sighed in relief as the river came into view.She stoped at its edge and closed her eyes and fell down on her knees out of breath.Luna closed her eyes leting her breath escape from her mouth blocking out the tears that where coming.The darkness was over powering,she hadn't yet mastered it and it was taking its toll on her.It needed to be put to use,she had stored too much up.Luna kept it bottled up and laid back down in the grass staring off into space.She wasn't that hungery either way.The moon reflected off of her and her shadow.She kept her eyes closed focusing on her surroundings.

"Uh anyone. Here." He grabbed a rock and put two slices of pie on it handing it to Seth. "Eat up, if you want more just ask. We just need to leave some for Luna and after that I'll try to get some wild game for us to eat too." He said softly looking at everyone. HE dished out more pie and handed it to Terra and then himself. He ate a bit of his and smiled some enjoying it. While Luna was away he had to make sure everything stayed ok.

Night smiled and shook his head. He then nudged her softly with his muzzle and looked at her. "If there's any trouble Dusk, stick close to me okay? There's a reason Solem had barely ever fought me... Ans I don't want to loose a good person from the pack." he said softly and then like a flash of black lightning he pounced and brought another rabbit. "Hmm a few more maybe?" he said smoothly setting it next to the other rabbit.

Dusk smiled some nodding. "Alright, will do." She watched him catch a rabbit and then narrowed her eyes. Jumping into a bush and after some rusttling and odd growling. Coming back she dropped a badger in front of him. "I like badger and I think that'll make up for some rabbits." She said softly sitting down with a sigh. Badger was a bit more difficult to get too they fought back with a rage like a wolf.

Night watched licking his paw ans chuckled. "Hmm true..." he said and then looked at her. "Im sure this is enough for the kittle wounded pup don't you think?" he said lightly and took the two rabbits in his mouth. "I think tommorrow we should stalk some deer since that will be a bit more filling for the pack." he said smoothly.

"I'll try to get something tomorrow morning." Dusk said softly grabbing the badger and looking at the squirrel not having room for it in her mouth. Blowing air out of her nose disapprovingly she dropped the badger and worked the two dead animals around so she could carry them both. Getting it so the badger sat sideways and the squirrel hung by its tail she trotted back towards the wounded wolf. She was quiet proud of her badger catch though it did come at a slight price her paw had been scratched up a bit as she pawed it out of it's home but it didn't hurt to bad or anything.

Solm was suprised at the emotions this boy had.She didn't dare change into her human form since it would make her weaker if hunters attacked them.She quietly took tiny steps,making the space between her and the boy only a inch or two apart.She nudged the boy some and looked down at him with a warm smile."Look.....I don't know how it feels to get your loved ones taken away by hunters....but I do know how it feels to lose them.I have faith that your loved ones will be returned to you.You can rest in my territory for a few days to gather your strength.Maybe I can go to the town and see if the hunters sold your family.....if that happens I'll find a way to bring them back..."She whispered.Her ears twitched some as she heard someone walk up to the wounded wolf and set down a badger and a....squirrel? Solem quickly put space between the wounded wolf and her so he would have enough room to eat.She looked over at Dusk with approving eyes."Very good.This should be enough to hopefully gets the wolf energy up."She said.

Luna soon sat up and felt blissful once again.Who knew just by clearing her mind she could finally relax.Luna stood up and stretched.The moon was out and bright tonight.She smiled and started heading back towards the cave.They had started a camp fire.Luna smiled happily and started running back towards the cave.

Night trotted behind Dusk following her silently. He then set down the rabbits and looked at Solem. "You should have some too... You haven't eaten all day." he said pushing a rabbit towards her and looking a her with his you have to keep your strength up look. He knew that sometimes she went way too long without food or hinting and it made him angry because he didn't want to see her weak ever.

Solem looked down at the rabbit with disgust.Her stomach haden't felt well all day.She didn't want to take a chance eating something and then getting a virus.She shook her head slowly and looked up at Night with her milky blue eyes." I rather not Night.....my stomach isnt quite right today..."She whispered.Solem quickly looked back at the wounde wolf. "This should suffice....you have plently to eat and regain your energy.I will check up on you in the morning.Goodbye."She said and quickly turned away.Her tail swayed softly back and forth as she started to walk away from the wounded wolf. "Night,Dusk....come on."She said with a serious tone.

Night nearly growled in frustration but then let it pass. If she got sick because she hadn't ate it wasn't his fault. Although he knew he would blame himself later... He walked after his pack leader and purposfully walked and dug his claws into the ground with every step. He then stopped once he Walked away from Solem and threw the trees. He then appeared infront of her and looked at her cooly. She could snap at him all she wanted, but he knew that making a false trial would mess up the wounded wolf. And any hunters who wanted to track them down.

Solem glanced back at Night every few seconds as she heard his nails dig into the ground.She turned her head when he suddenly disappeared into the trees.Solem guessed he must have been mad since she had not eaten the rabbit.She woula apologize later if it bugged him that much.Although when he suddenly popped out infront of her and she saw the look he was giving her she immediatly knew what he was doing.A small smile spread across her lips and she let out a small laugh. "Very good. I suppose your right.......your thinking very quick today.....awesome."She said with a chuckle.She walked up to Night and gave him a small nudge. "Thanks....."She whispered before continuing through the forest.

Night was surprised as a slow smile spread across Solem's face and tilted his head slightly. Hearing her praise he was surprised and his ear flicked up towards her in surprise as well. When she thanks him he nodded ans nudged her back softly. "Ivealways got your back..." he said softly as if it was a fact. He was a person/wolf who became very loyal and protective of the people who are willing to risk trying to talk to him and become close. And that loyalty would never fade either, for he believed if one is loyal and kind the favor will someday be returned.

Dusk looked at the wounded wolf setting the food down near him. Sighing deeply she hesitated but followed Solem anyway. Eyes slightly narrowed as she followed the two in front of her. She stayed silent along the way watching Night move around and make a false path. She wasn't at all there and just followed quietly and at a speed that just allowed her to stay up with them. Solem was reminding her more and more why she'd left her first pack and at the same time reminding her how hard it would be to rejoin a pack latter.

Kaze laid in his human form, crying silently. he ignored when the other two came and set down the food. he eventually cried himself to sleep, exhausted from the pain.

Luna slowly stoped running and switched her pace into walking.She suddenly wondered why they had started a fire.Luna smiled wondering how they where doing and turned into the cave to find them eating pie.'How does it taste?'Luna asked with a small smile as she watched Seth make a complete mess out of the pie.She laughed at how he tore it apart.

Seth glanced up from his meal, quirking a half smile in Luna's direction. "Good," he muttered through his food, trying to keep himself from laughing. I must look ridiculous. He meticulously finished his current mouthful before cleaning his face and looking back up to his alpha. "You should try some. I haven't had anything like it." Instead of coughing, Seth cleared his throat, trying to avoid choking on his food.

Luna smiled warmly at Seth and sat down beside everyone.'Alright.'Luna said softly looking around at everyone.'So...uh..seth...did any of it land in your mouth?'Luna asked in a teasing tone as a small smile pressed against her lips.

Night nudged Dusk softly as he fell back with her and looked at her. "Relax...." he said softly and then looked ahead of them. A slow smile spread across his features and he chuckled. "You both need a star burst." he said lightly and grinned. He waited for their reactions hoping they would lighten up.

Ducking his head in embarrassment, the dark-haired youth nodded. "Enough of it to taste," he rasped, smiling. His amber eyes filled with mirth as he took another bite, this one the most civil of all of them; more of a nibble, really. The pie was practically calling his name - it was so good, he could hardly resist taking another bite.
It was many moments before the youth spoke again, his eyes waveringly flashing over every other member in the cavern. "When are we going to the next town?" he asked, trying as hard as he could not to sound too eager. Failing miserably, Seth swallowed, his excited gaze locking on Luna. "Soon?" |
