Luna slowly pulled away from the buck,suddenly feeling Seth lick her ears.A small whine escaped her throat as her tail begun to wag lightly.Luna gently nuzzeled Seths muzzel and curled up against him.Then Luna watched as Lana ate the buck,a warm smile spreading across her lips.Thats when she knew,Lana would fit in just fine.Although it would be a long journey to reach the north to watch the lights,but they would make it.Hopefully it would get her away from her sister and for once she would be able to feel blissful.

Seth shifted forms, stroking Luna's head with a gentle hand. He watched with a crooked smile as Lana ate, and then turned his attention back to the fiery wolf beside him. Careful to avoid licks of flame, the youth ran his hand over her flank, his smile growing. It wasn't often that he found himself so close to Luna - he didn't usually try to cozy up to the alpha. But that day was different - he didn't want to keep himself from talking. Besides, the reason for him being so quiet - his cough - was gone, or at least held off for now.
Enjoying the heat from Luna, Seth let his reflective eyes flicker back to the other female as she ate. "When will we leave?" he asked aloud, realizing that the silence had been rather long. Stroking Luna again, he marveled at the sound of his own voice once again. It was strange to not worry about his cough; it was a curious thing to miss . . . well, almost. |
Luna curled up beside Seth,remaining in her wolf form feeling very content.'Once everyone is done eating and ready to start running towards north.'Luna said lightly as her eyes closed,enjoying Seths hand running threw her fur.She would soon shape-change into her human-like form but for now she decied to enjoy the touch of his hand.Ofcourse her flames had died out but her fur still gave off heat.To her it felt quite ordinary,but she didn't know how it affected others.

"When everyone's finished," he whispered, and then glanced over to Terra and Vladimir. They seemed to be almost done, and Seth himself wasn't quite hungry. Looking down at the fur that ran through his fingers, a small smile made its way to his face. He really did enjoy the heat that came from Luna, and absolutely loved the fact that he was beside her - it was a strange feeling, really, to think of how happy he was just because he was with her. Of course, it was then that he reigned his thoughts in, glancing over to Vladimir. He had more claim to the alpha than Seth did. He was older, more experienced, and a better fighter - all around a better choice. With the quietest of sighs, his amber eyes moved back to Luna, and he continued to stroke her side and back, slowly moving to lay his cheek against her head as he shifted to curl up around her as best he could. If this is all wrong, then I don't want it right. |

Luna felt quite comfertable in the position that had just been formed.She snuggled up against Seth,her eyes still remained closed.She never realised how cold his body felt compared to hers.It was quite odd,being so close to someone for the first time.He was young,but then again not that young.That really didn't fase her though,she remained curled up against Seth,enjoying the silence as Vlad and Terra ate.She was quite content as that moment as her body relaxed and her thoughts seem to come at ease. |
Lana backed away slowly and licked her paw as she sat. Laying down she watched everyone her huge fluffy tail wagging back adn forth lazily making her fur ripple like a river. Closing her eyes she thought of how much her form and her brother's were so close. Nearly growling at the thought she shook her head and looked up on her back and nodded seeing her weapons where still secered to her back. She then gave a small yawn her large fangs being revealed before she closed her muzzl again and rested her head on her paws.

Solem covered her mouth as a yawn passed through her lips. Even though she disliked not being able to watch over Night she knew he was right. Sleep was slowly taking her over and she didn't want to ignore it any longer. "Alright...Good Morning Night."She whispered as her eyes closed. It was only a matter of minutes before her heart-beat slowed as well as her breathing to a rhythmic tune.

Night smiled softly and nodded. "Good morning love." he whispered and put a blanket on her lightly and then grabbed another starburst. He then nuzzled her softly and smiled warmly. "I will never leave you... And that's a promise." he whispered softly and then closed his eyes enjoying the feel of the light on his skin.

Seth watched until everyone had finished eating, and then sent an eager thought to Luna. 'Ready now?' Stroking the side of the wolf's neck, he took a deep breath. Before they left, he wanted to see the humans again. He'd made a sort of friend while they had been showing up occasionally - a rather nice old couple who absolutely adored both Terra and himself. It would be nice if they could say goodbye. Falling still, Seth closed his eyes, sighing quietly. He loved the snow - he generally liked everything cold. It would be different now that he wasn't coughing. Or, could at least stop coughing for a while before the medicine wore off. 'It looks like everyone's finished.' With his cheek still resting against the alpha's head, he slowly sat up, watching as Terra stared out at the night. Surely she was thinking the same thing as he - the humans were on their minds. |
Lunas eyes fluttered open as she slowly sat up and shape-changed back to her human form.'So..would you like to go say one last goodbye to the humans before actully leaving?'Luna asked aloud lightly,her head turned towards Seth.Her eyes were a light gold as she stared off ahead,threw the thick forest.

Lana shrugged lumbering to her feet. "I guess... there's not really much to say goodbye to for me." she said softly and shook herself to make sure nothing was in her furr. She knew the others of the pack though by just looking into their eyes tht they wanted to see them one last time. And she wouldn't be denying to go, she just felt uncomfortable doing so after being kicked out.

Seth's features brightened, and he nodded. It was incredible how Luna could do that - seemingly read into her pack's intentions. "I would," he said quietly, glancing over to Terra. The female seemed ready to leave that instant, and the very thought of seeing the humans made Seth feel the same way. It can't be right to feel this way. They were human - shifters weren't.
Standing, he offered a hand to Luna, and then met Terra's gaze with a grin. Time to say goodbye. |
Luna smiled warmly and slipped her hand into Seths as she stood up.She then followed his gaze to terra.'It sucks when someone knows you,huh?'Luna said with a light laugh.It indicated to Seth and Terra.She knew how interested they were in human life.She still couldn't wait to goof off with Lana.She was very interesting,and perhaps more playful then she looked.Luna remained in her human form,not wishing to be spoted by hunters and so on,if they were they would think they were abunch of werid teenagers roaming around.

Seth grinned, shrugging his shoulders at the alpha's comment. Giving her a gentle tug, he snagged Terra's hand as well, glancing to the others. "We're going to stop by the town real quick," he said, accented voice filled with excitement. "There are a few people to say goodbye to."
Terra nodded, agreeing with him. As soon as they started out toward the town, Seth gave Luna's arm a nudge, smiling at her thankfully. 'I like you knowing what I think. It's . . . different.' When they finally got within the borders of the human area, Seth released Luna's hand, giving her a quick smile before racing Terra to the house near the edge of town. An elderly couple sat about the porch, where the two shifters spoke with them quietly. A few expressions of sorrow were shown, and near the end a few hugs were given. It was then that Terra looked back to Luna, looking grim. Seth's face showed how shocked he was at the words she spoke, and he let his amber eyes trail over to the alpha as well. 'She wants to stay.' Seeming to droop a bit, Seth shook his head, glomping Terra with a hug that nearly knocked her off of her feet. She was going to stay with the couple. They were getting too old to do their own work, and their last child had just moved away. They needed help around the house, and Terra immediately offered to stay with them. When their meeting began to get too long, Seth slowly stood from his place on the porch railing, giving the other three a warm hug before stepping down the steps and heading toward the pack again. "She wants to take care of them," Seth whispered to Luna, eyes scanning over the others in the pack. It seemed as though they were getting smaller with every season. |
Luna went ahead and ran along,as she stared up at Terra,her eyes soft and warm.She wanted to keep Terra and at that moment it was clear she had done her duty.She had helped a pup grow up enough to actully talk to humans and communicate.She watched as seth went back and forth a few times,her eyes remaining there golden color.As Seth came and stood in front of her,she spoke in a soft tone,almost saddened.'She can stay.'Luna stated simpley,wishing she could bring Terra along with them and take her with Lana and them.Then again,sometimes it was best to allow someone to do as they pleased,and for once she let everyone make there own decision.Although her decision was final and dominate.

Lana shifted back to her human form and brushed her long black hair behind her ear. She smiled standing by Luna as Seth and terra raced off. She waited paitently until she spotted a butterfly and stocked it silently and then caught it gently and laughed lightly as the butterfly stayed on her finger and then flew up to sit on her head. Laughing quietly to herself she looked up at the bug and then shook her head so the butterfly flew off as Seth came back and was surprised Terra wasn't there with him.

"She knew you would allow her to stay," Seth whispered, and then gave a sad smile. "We'll see her again sometime, if we come back." Watching the butterfly that Lana had been playing with take to the sky, he sighed, looking depressed. "I think we're ready to go now. I already said goodbye."
From where they were on the front porch, Terra gave a slight wave, and then entered the house to start some dinner for the old couple. She would remain there until they had either passed away, or a relative came to help them out again. His cold hand unknowingly sought Luna's, and Seth looked to the forest once more. "How long do you think the journey will take?" he asked, clearing his throat. It seemed that the medicine was beginning to wear off - it only lasted for half the day, though for a normal human it would have been a whole 12 hours. |
Luna laughed lightly as she watched Lana.'Adorible..'She mumbled to herself and then turned her eyes back towards Seth.'If we travel all for the rest of the day,we'd proably make it to the out-scurts but not completely there.'Luna then noticed Seth had once again,placed his hand in hers.She was taken by surprise but gently squeezed his hand,reassuring him that Terra would be alright.Although,Luna would miss her greatly.

Lana looked over surprised and blused slightly hearing Luna. She then looked at the wolf wave and sighed sadly. "I bet she was great." she said softly really feeling acword because she really hadn't known the female who had chosen to stay. She then spotted another butterfly and was so tempted to chase it but didn't. Her mother always said if she came back she wanted to come back as a butterfly and would play with her again as she had when Lana was a child. And to Lana seeing a butterfly would be the thing she would miss most when they went north. It would make it feel like her mother was far away.

Seth smiled, nodding. "Outskirts by nightfall," he whispered, and then quietly fended off the beginnings of a cough. Wrinkling his nose, the youth headed away from the house, wanting to get started before he felt too tempted to stay. He had grown rather attached to the old woman and her husband . . . they were good people. They were part of the reason he loved humans so much; Seth wanted to believe that every human was just like them, but knew it wasn't true.
When the reached the edge of town, Seth glanced about to make sure there was no one nearby before taking a deep breath. Sending a farewell howl to Terra, one loud enough to be heard from where she was, he kept the sorrow from his features. Goodbye, Terra. |
Luna sighed softly as she begun to lead the way.'Thank you for staying Seth.'Luna whispered as she then begun to lead the way.She simpley started off at a steady pace,not really trying to run.She did miss Terra but then again,they did have Lana and since Lana was here this provided some comfert for Luna.She did enjoy having younger 'pups' around because it gave her a chance to provide younger ones with her own knowledge.

"I wouldn't leave you, Luna." Seth gave her hand a squeeze, and then kept by her side as they headed onward. As they walked, he bumped into her a few times, smiling when she looked to him. As they continued onward, he merely winked and laughed playfully, seeming to enjoy the walk as they steadily approached their destination. "Will there be humans were we go next?" the shifter asked, brushing stray hair from his face as a slight wind blew it into his eyes. His question was finished with a small cough, at which he tried to halt any further ones.

Lana watched as Seth howled a goodbye and then hey began walking. Keeping a slight distance from the Vladamir guy she stayed on the other side of her alpha and looked around curiously as they walked. It always made her wonder how a pack could be so close and yet not completely trust eachother. It was something she would have to learn and as they walked she had snagged another butterfly happily and had whispered a wish to it before letting it fly off again.

Luna smiled warmly.'Im glad.'She said lightly.As seth bumped into her a few times she laughed.Then she turned her attention back to Lana.Even though Lana lost her mother,and perhaps didn't need anybody else.Luna would wrap herself around Lana and keep her safe from anyone and make sure nobody would hurt her - ever again.Luna sighed in content and then heard Seths question.'Well ofcourse.Its not really any different from here its just abit colder and has snow.'Luna said with a soft smile as her eyes remained on Lana,watching her movements and the way she played.

"Snow," Seth repeated, grinning. He hadn't seen the stuff in a long while, and was more than eager to have some to romp about in. Leaning over to impulsively lick Luna's cheek in excitement, the amber-eyed male made an apologetic cough escape his lips . . . not that he could have avoided it anyway.
((I'm trying to come up with something dramatic to throw in here . . . but I can't seem to think of anything at this point. I'm too brain dead. :XD)) |
