Starting when the trunks flew into his face, Seth laughed. "Right. Right." He heard her words, and then moved to beat her challenge. If she wanted to race, then he wasn't about about back down. The shifter moved as quickly as he could, changing into the swim trunks in record time before dashing toward the door.
There, at the end of the hallway, he saw Luna heading into the elevator. I don't think so. With a wide grin, he ran for the stairs. Bumping into some guy on the way, he shouted an apology over his shoulder before continuing down. Be careful, you silly pup! Still mentally chiding himself, Seth pressed his speed to it's greatest level. Of course, he nearly fell down the last flight of stairs as his legs threatened to give out from beneath him. With a gasp, he picked himself up, and glanced over to see the elevator opening. That would be Luna. Putting on another burst of speed, he moved through the room and to the door, barely getting there before he had to reach out and place his hand on the doorframe. Gasping for breath, he chuckled breathlessly, looking up to see the alpha a mere second behind him. "Made it," he breathed, looking flushed. The pink of his features stood out on his pale skin - it was a tone he'd never managed to lose, though it wasn't quite as bad as it once was. Seth reached up to tug on a lock of Luna's hair before turning away from the building and running for the sandy shore. 'I don't plan on falling behind. Not when I know I can run faster!' His lithe, well-muscled form showing off the improvements he'd made while missing, Seth let his strength and speed carry him the rest of the way to the beach. Excited and eager, he was more than ready to feel the water on his skin, to be with Luna during such a moment. - Seethe nodded slowly, and then frowned. "Life isn't something you can leave behind," she muttered, and then rubbed her arms. "Even I know that, and I'm the one running from it." Actually, in a way . . . they both were. The blonde shifted forms, turning into a gold wolf. Her brown eyes met Night's, and she curled up beside him, snuffing out a breath. Unsure of how to communicate mentally, she merely closed her eyes, letting her flank be warmed by the fire. 'At least I'm safe for now.' |
Luna laughed as she took not to Seth running down the stairs.So she just took her sweet old time geting in and out of the elevator just to find him running towards the beach.Thats when finally,something snaped and she took off after him.Considering Seth was abit tired - which gave her the upper hand - she fled right after him.Quickly gaining on him but not enough.Finally,she just ran until she passed the sand and the people and jumped as the water licked her ankles.She then glanced around - looking for Seth.Giving a light shrug she ploped down in the water,waiting for him to turn up sometime adventully.He ran too fast for his own good,he proably beat her already and was out in the waves.

Botolf laughed and chased Lana down,wrapping his arms around her waist,he lightly kissed her ear as he held her and they walked.'Its not nice to sneak out like that.'Botolf teased as he then slipped his hand into Lanas.Luna had already gotten on the elevator but simpley draged Lana into the elevator with him aswell.Lunas mind was proably else where,such as racing with Seth to get on the beach.When the elevator finally reached the bottom level,he watched Luna dash off as he was still holding onto Lanas hand as he lead the way out onto the small dock that lead onto the beach,grinning from ear to ear with thoughts of how today would go. |
Seth was, true to Luna's suspicions, in the water. When he exited, dripping, he silently moved up behind her. Wrapping his lithe arms about the alpha, he kissed her ear and growled playfully. Nipping at her ear, the youth picked her up a bit, keeping his arms around her waist. Instead of talking, he laughed, and then hauled the woman into the deeper water, where he promptly dropped her.

Feeling breathless and light on her own two feet,Luna let out a soft sigh of content as she heard Seth laugh.But being picked up - oh man.Leting out a yelp,she klutched at Seths arms,draging him down with her as a huge wave washed over them.Poking her head up out of the water,she gave out a breathless laugh and pounced on Seth,nipping his nose.'Sneaky.'Luna pured as she then leaped from Seth and started running deeper out into the water - out past the waves.A sly grin on her face.

'That's me.' He would have winked if she would have seen him. Seth laughed, shaking the water from his hair in a swift movement before chasing after the woman. Waves washed about him, but when he got past the largest ones, his amber eyes swiftly locked on Luna. It was then that he returned her sly grin with one of his own . . . and ducked beneath the ocean's surface. 'The signs in the lobby mentioned sharks, didn't they?' He had disappeared - and he wasn't resurfacing. For almost a minute, nothing happened. There was no movement that Luna could see, no thoughts from Seth, he didn't come up for breath - nothing. It was then that the shifter surfaced directly behind the woman, wrapping his arms about her in order to pin her arms to her sides. "Gotcha," he gasped, swimming back a bit so he could pull her off balance. |
Panic almost washed over Luna as she looked around to only find herself being picked up and her arms pinned at her side.Giving out a teasing laugh she squirmed and squiled.'Ill get you back for this.I know where you sleep at night.'Luna remarked with a breathless laugh as she wiggeled and squirmed abit more.After a few of effortless trys she then stoped,just staring up at the sky and taking comfert to Seths embrace.Something she had craved and grown to know after such a short period of time.I love you.Would have been the proper term,but Luna had kept things hidden and built away.The waves seemed to pick them up and drop them off back at the bottom but there were still a few waves that washed over them with little effect.But it was all so worth it.

"There's no avoiding that, now is there?" Seth breathed into her ear, and then chuckled as she started to squirm violently. 'I'm not letting go, Luna. That would be giving up.' The water swelled about them, and Seth finally just held the woman close to him. Just feeling her there with him, knowing that they were really together for a few moments . . . it made his heart swell with content. This was where he wanted to be. Here, right with Luna . . . holding her close and living life with her.
Kissing the side of the woman's neck, Seth let the waves carry them back toward shore. Partially swimming to help them out, the male smiled. "I must admit, you look good when you're a soaking wet, helpless damsel in distress." |
Lunas eyes slowly slipped closed as she felt Seths lips on her neck.How long had it not been like this and how long did she have to wait for it to just be like this?Just like this.Luna took in a deep breath as her heart hammered against her own chest.If she really wanted to,and actully tried she proably could break out of this but she decided against it as they were being draged back towards the shore.'You dont look so bad yourself.'Luna retroted as she was able to somehow,magically wiggle her way around to bring herself face to face with Seth.'You cant keep my arms pinned forever.'Luna commented with a sly grin as she made herself comfertable against his chest.Luna took in a deep breath just incase any huge waves decided to come crashing down.You make life and whatever I have to wait for,worth it.

"But I can try," Seth whispered, watching in amusement as her grin spread across her face. The feeling of being so close was starting to wear on him. The shifter leaned up to press a kiss to Luna's lips, though ended up laughing. At the moment he kissed her, a large wave crashed down about them, pushing them against the sandy shore. The shock of the water made Seth start, and he shook some of the salty liquid from his face.
"That kiss was more of an adventure than my entire time away," he said, turning his face away to cough. The water really had done a number on him. "I think I breathed in when that wave hit." Nose wrinkling, Seth linked his fingers behind Luna's back, letting his head fall back against teh wet sand. |
At that very moment,Luna quickly held her breath as they were washed up on the shore.Talk about a real joy ride.Now they both laid on the sandy shore - or atleast Luna on top of Seth.Talk about quite the scene but she didn't care.Lunas chin rested neatly on his chest as she watched his head fall back in the sand,a light laugh following along.'Well your determind,I guess not even a huge wave can break your grip.'Luna remarked as she felt Seths hands still linked on her back.Luna slowly pulled herself abit further up,her face hovering over Seth's as she lightly pressed her lips against his.Enjoying the warm,uncontroled feelings that followed.If her arms wheren't pinned,her fingers would proably be entangled into his hair.Lunas heart always raced whenever she was around Seth,it became quite a habit.And like powder and fire,our kiss consumes.

Seth chuckled at her comment, and shook his head ever so slightly. "Not much can make me let go of someone like you." His eyes remained closed when he felt her lips on his, and the shifter let out a contented noise as he tried to remember that he was keeping her pinned. With a kiss like that, he was completely distracted, scrambled - she could have gotten away if she'd tried.
His hands stayed linked behind Luna, but Seth wavered slightly. "Cheater," he breathed, and felt his own breathing quicken to match hers. Swallowing, he licked his lips, amber eyes raking over her features hungrily. In a sudden movement, he leaned up just enough to give Luna a kiss of his own, his heart rate kicking into overdrive. "Didn't your mother ever tell you that a kiss makes a man lose track of his thoughts?" |
Luna chuckled as she kept her lips a mere few inches from his,gazing into those wonderful amber eyes.'Hasn't your dad every told you its not polite to pin a girl?'Luna pured with a smirk following along.Her heart still raced from the kiss,as if it had all been planed out.Followed by another kiss from Seth,Luna wanted another.Then again,she always craved for Seths lips.And perhaps this bit will make girls leave him alone?Maybe not.Although Luna was game.She liked challenges.Luna lightly ran her tounge over her lips she lightly pressed her forhead against Seths.People like you are worth waiting for.

Watching her lips, Seth's gaze flicked to her eyes a few times. 'I'm sure he mentioned it once or twice,' he thought, and smiled a bit. It was torture to have her so close, yet so far away. 'You aren't close enough.' Lunging upward again, he caught another kiss before falling back. The shifter laughed, and relaxed back into the sand. The waves licked at their legs, and the sun glazed them with warmth. This . . . this was a bit of heaven.
"Will the elders follow us?" Seth asked suddenly, his voice low. His expression became one of neutrality, and his amber gaze trailed up to the sky above him. Slowly unlinking his hands, he rubbed Luna's back, letting one hand fall to the wet sand at his side. |
Blinking a few times as the questions registered she simpley curled up on Seths chest.This would proably be the only time that anybody was safe - even them.'They will.But we'll all be ready.'Lunas tone was soft but as steady as the waves that now crashed down in the distance.Taking in a deep breath,she enjoyed his calm hand on her back.When would it be like this again?Everything seemed perfect for the moment but she knew it could change at any time.'We might as well enjoy the time we have together now,because it can all change within the flash of an eye.Like last time.'Luna reminded.Her muscular thin body still supressed her own body against Seths.Enjoying the water that licked at her legs and the warm sun that glazed over her skin.'Ill be ready..

Nodding, Seth let out a sigh. His hand moved up to run through Luna's tangled hair, combing it gently until the snarls were free. "There's nowhere else I'd rather be right now," he whispered, closing his eyes and smiled. "Though there's only one thing that could make it better."
Partially opening one eye, the shifter looked to Luna. "When would you like the ceremony to take place?" Marriage seemed suddenly on his mind, and he ended up laughing. "I'm not being pushy, am I?" |
Luna laughed soothingly as Seth ran his hand through her hair and mentioned the ceremony.'No,not at all.We could always have it at sunrise or sunset,whatever you prefer.'Lunas soft tone soothed out as she craweled off of Seth and laid down beside him.Her face lightly nuzzeling his neck as her legs soon tangeled with his.The sun bright,shining down into her eyes but it soothed her to be beside Seth again.Just the two of them,not running,just relaxing.

"Sounds . . . good." Seth's voice was barely audible, and he smiled contentedly. Feeling her beside him on the beach made him smile. "Sunrise. It signals a new beginning." The shifter lay still, sighing. "And soon," he breathed, seeming to drift off as the sound of waves lulled him to be calm.

Lana smiledwidely at Botolf as she was pulled into his arms. She laughed lightly and then was pulled into the elevator. She kept leaning on him until Luna shot out of the elevator like a bullet. It was then that she began walking with her mate towards the ocean. Even though she didn't feel 100% or even close to it, she wasn't about to let her pack know that. She wanted them all to have the fun that they all deserved and she hated to be the rainclouds on their day. So like she alwaysdid she just sucked up and pain fatigue and aches and kept going. She knew she was going toenjoy herself as much as she could, plus, she had a nice warm bed to crash onto later to hopefully get some strength back. |
Luna laughed lightly,stretching and then slowly crawling away as Seth was...drifting off?Chuckeling she darted for Lana and Botolf.About time they got out here but then again,Botolf proably decied to fool around.Once she reached them,the warm sand under her feet she propelled herself onto Lana,snuggling her.'Well hey there sleepy head.'Lunas tone was soft incase she was still on the verge of a head ache.Grinning in delight she slipping her hands into Lanas.'Can I steal you away for abit?'Luna asked in a playful tone,aware of the fact that Seth will proably be coming up and after her soon enough.Thats if he wasn't too far gone with his 'nap time'.
Botolf kissed Lanas temple lightly as if a reminder that she didn't have to be out here if she didn't want to.But the sight of Luna made him take a step to the side as he watched Luna wrap her arms around Lana,praticully cuddling looking like a lesbie couple.Chuckeling,he crossed his arms and watched the two.'Hey,hey.Dont you have your own mate?The last time I checked Lana was mine.'Botolf reminded,his eyes looking at Lana,the chuckle firm and unmoving on his lips. Lana let out a surprised squeek as Luna assulted her with a tight hug and then laughed. She hugged Luna back and stuck her tongue out at Botolf. "I'll be after you later for that on emister." she said with a grin and then nodded to Luna. "Sure Luna... What do you need to steal me for?" she said softly tilting her head curiusly at her alpha.

Hardly aware of Luna's leaving, Seth drifted deeper into sleep. The youth felt the lulling of the waves, the warmth of the sun, and the sound of the people on the beach - all of it was like a song, pushing him further into dreams. The shifter took a deep breath, letting it out slowly as he tried to force his eyes open. When he did, he groaned, letting his arm fall over his amber eyes to block out the light. he hadn't been there long, but it was long enough.
In the back of his mind, his hearing registered Lana and Luna's voices, and Botolf's as well . . . but he didn't bother moving. He wasn't up for it yet. 'You left me? I'm hurt.' Sarcasm lit his mental voice, but he didn't move - his smile was the only movement he let his body go through. ((:XD Sorry for the delay, and for the general shortness of the post. I have to go!)) |
Stepping away as Seethe made herself comfortable Night fazed into his true wolf form as well. he shook his black mane before returning to rest next to her. "Yes... safe for now..." he whispered in her mind and closed his brown eyes enjoying the warmth and comfort he got from this form and from not being alone any more.

Luna laughed lightly at Botolfs jealous attitude and how Seth still laid quite far away.'Just girl time. After all, Botolf could use some guy time.'Luna retroted, shooting him a look and then hooking arms with Lana and stealing her away, taking long strides so they could be abit of distance away.She wanted to tell Lana about her and Seth geting engaged, talk to her and see how she was holding up, and mostly thank her for everything.Luna wanted to keep there pack together for a very long time, even if it meant running to the ends of the earth. Botolf really wished he could rip Luna a new one but soon enough they seem to walk off.Sighing, he decied to actully sit with Seth.It had been quite sometime since they talked, but then again, he didn't have much to say.Walking on the sand, soon meeting small waves, he sat down while Seth laid there with a goofy expression on his face.'Hey sleeping beauty.'Botolf remarked with a humored, and sarcastic tone. |
