Dusk looked at Night and then down. "I don't have the authority to test her. But sometimes she angers me and I can normally sapress it but..." She sort of just got up and followed. She had her ears laid back. "I guess I'm lucky that she's kinder than most pack leaders and I only have to hunt for a week. It doesn't bother me really." She said softly sighing some she looked at Night. "I'm good at hunting, but that's the only thing besides being elemental that separates me from other wolves." Her voice light but she was still kind of angry. "That wolf, I know something isn't right but...I still don't like how she treated them." She admitted looking at Night. "I'm sorry I know you two are close I shouldn't complain I owe her my life and I should be greatful."

Solem watched as the two left and she quickly looked down at the wolf.She could clearly see his looking up at her but she took no intrest.She watched as the wolf tried to stand and Solem shook her head slowly.'Don't even try.Just because your healed doesn't mean you can just prance around.My pack members are going to get you some food so you can repleish your health.I'll stay with you until they return but after they return my pack members and I shall leave you hear.I'm going to make this clear right now......just because you are wounded does not mean I shall take pity on you.After your back to "normal self" your immeditaly leaving my territory."She said with a dominate tone.

Kaze looked at the wolf listening to her words. when she told him that they were leaving him a great sorrow glazed over his eyes. he laid his head on the ground starring at nothing. He wanted to cry but found that he couldn't, not in his wolf form at least. he knew he was good at acting but what seemed to depress him was that her words were harsh and bitter reality came into play. no pack would ever accept him. only his master loved him. and he loved his master.

Solem could clearly see the wolf did not like her words.She let out a soft sigh and she sat down on the ground."Look you might not like being left alone but I have to be cautious.I can clearly see that your wounds are from hunters.I'm not sure if you where owned by one or you where attacked by one.The only thing I know is I can't take a chance on my pack being attacked by hunters. If your owner comes to take find you I don't need them being lured farther into my territory. "She said with a serious tone.

He growled at the word "owner" showing that he would never let a filthy beast like that controle him. He calmed down in just a few seconds and then spoke, "The hunters took my family, my mom and dad and brothers and sisters. I simply just wanted them back, that's all. what did we ever do to them?" Kaze turned into his human form and rolled into a ball, crying. Even though he looked a little older, he was still just a pup.

When he heard her voice, Seth grinned over his shoulder toward Luna. They'd come back for them. Coughing before he was able to speak, the dark-haired youth let his rasping voice raise so his leader could hear him. "Me? Swim?" He paused to clear his throat. "You've obviously never seen me where my feet couldn't touch the ground." One could say that Seth didn't get along with deep water well. "You came back for us, Luna?" Stepping away from the fountain, he glanced at the humans around them before shifting closer to his alpha, bowing his head in respect. |
Luna smiled.'I always come back for my wolves.'Luna said softly and noding as if to note that she noticed his respect.Luna watched as the humans passed and kept her eyes shaded with her bangs.

Seth smiled, merely moving to brush his arm against hers. His movement wasn't one of flirtation, but merely a pack-motivated show of affection. As leader, she was prone to receiving them from her pack. Though he rarely did such things, Seth was in a rather good mood that day - it was his closeness to the humans, or so it seemed.
Amber eyes following a few more children as they scampered by, Seth smiled a bit before turning his attention back to Luna. "Is it time to go?" he asked with a small cough into his fist, his voice a grating whisper. ((That's alright. :sweat: I don't mind short posts . . . and I'm just about ready for bed myself. :sleep:)) |
Luna nodded.'Once we get back..I have a treat for all of you,then you need to take the cough medicen and go to sleep.'Luna said indicating the pies in her hand.She smiled at Seth and Terra awaiting for Terra to be already to go.

Vladimir smiled softly and then looked at Seth. That bloody cough was weird since most wolves didn't get sick easily. Sighing he watched the interaction of everyone and then shook his head. He couldn't see Seth swimming not in a hundred years. Yawning softly he nodded to what the alpha had said. "Sounds like a good plan. Do you know how you caught the cough?" He asked Seth.

Night nodded and then suddenly pounced. There was a plump rabbit in his jaws as he emerged from the brush again. "Got one." he said and gently laid it down on the ground. "The only reason we're close is because she raised me." he said and looked away hating the fact that she wouldn't ever love him more because of it. "It will never be nothing more." he said softly and the breeze ruffled his black and red furr.

"I've always had it," Seth replied, clearing his throat. He couldn't explain it - it had started when he was younger, and carried through beyond the point of sickness. He used to think it was due to the fact that he didn't talk much, but that wasn't a strong enough reason to carry a cough for years. Not only did he cough, but his voice sounded as though he had just woken up - constantly. Rough, ragged, and rasping, Seth seemed to ignore the fact that he sounded like he was dying whenever he spoke up.
"I don't want you worrying about me," the pale youth said with the beginnings of a smile. Meeting Vladimir's gaze with his own amber eyes, Seth bowed his head a bit, showing a small bit of submission toward the other male. "I don't mind it. Honest." |
Luna sighed.'Can you give the medicen a try?'Luna asked in a soft tone as he coughed.I know it was silly to worry about something he had for years but she was worried that one day it might turn into something whorse and at the moment she didn't want ot take any risk's what so ever.

"If you want me to, I'll do it." Seth nodded, and turned his gaze back to his alpha. "It's worth a try." He cleared his throat quietly, and then reached to snag Terra's sleeve in order to pull her closer to the others. He wasn't necessarily happy about leaving the humans, but he needed to stay with his pack. After all, if he ran into the other pack . . . death was always inevitable when the two clans met.

A caring smile spread across Lunas lips.'Alright..and I know proably none of you want to leave but..the next town we come across we'll need supplys,we can go to that town and all of you can explore,alright?'Luna said reading Seth's expressions as he tuged on Terra's sleeve.Luna didn't really want to leave either but they where wolves,they didn't belong among the human kind.Plus...her sister was somewhere near and right now her pack came first,and that wasn't a responsibility,but a promise to herself and them.

"Alright," Seth rasped, nodding with a small smile. In the next town, there would be a bit more time. Eager already, the youth clenched Terra's sleeve unknowingly. "The next town," he repeated quietly, eyes following a couple that walked by hand in hand.

Luna smiled and nodded to the three of them.'Well,lets get going.'Luna said softly trying to block out the fact her sister was somewhere near here.Luna wanted to race there and rip her to shreds.Her eyes flashed a deep dark red.Luna made sure to keep her eyes covered with her bangs so this way not even her pack would know.Her lips remained in a firm line across her face as they slowly started walking out of the town.It seemed more humans liked to come out at night then day.'Now I know how the accidents happen.'Luna thought to herself remebering all the times she ran out into the night.

Seth tugged Terra's sleeve again, releasing it after doing so. He followed after Luna quietly, glancing to Vladimir and then Terra before quickening his pace to follow the clan leader. Did she seem tense? Or perhaps that was just a wrong perception? The sharp-featured youth merely shrugged inwardly, continuing to watch the remnants of society as they wandered the streets. When they neared the edge of town, Seth cast a few glances over his shoulder toward the humans, but then forced himself to focus on what Luna wanted; where they were going next.

Terra hardly even knew that her pack was here hafl the time. She was to bussy looking at the humans and seeing what they where doing. It was all so cool but then she felt Seth tug on her sleeve and saw that they where leaveing. She sighed and then followed Luna even though she wanted to stay here. She wanted to stay and learn about them and everything they did.

Vladimir had been looking at something then took off catching up with the others quickly. He rustled Seth's hair slightly since he viewed that wolf to be younger than him. "I can't wait to explore the next town." He muttered walking a little forward over to Luna. "I'll carry your clothes till we get to the resting place." He said softly looking at her before slinking back a few steps again.
Dusk looked at Night. "I'm sorry. To tell you the truth I found you intimidating when you didn't talk." She said simply before jumping into the bushes and coming out with a squirrel. "Uck! I hate squirrel." She muttered making a face as she listened for a second. "I hope you find someone close to Solem's equal. But I know that there is no equal to her but I'm sure there is someone close." She said softly. "Or maybe she'll change her mind." |
Luna did nothing but simpley nod.She was afraid that if she spoke up her voice would be very...unwelcoming was all she could think of for the word to actully describe it.Luna walked on ahead a few pases from everybody else but stayed insite and close enough to hear if any hunters were coming.She had already put herself in the sacrifice position but did not know who to leave in charge if she died.The only way she'd die is if someone killed her.Luna sighed softly feeling comfert as the cave came into view.Her eyes turned into gold...the feeling of comfert and anger settling into a pit.She sighed softly and kept moving.

Night shook his head and looked at her. "Youre right, I act that way on purpose... Because I then know those with weak hearts don't approach me... But those who are brave enough to amount to something in life." he said softly an then shook his head and chickled as she got a squirrle. "Nasty little things." he said and then scratched his ear before streching. "No one does compare no... But that's because she's herself and everyone excelles at being themselves. She just sticks out more then most." he said wisely and then looked at her.

Vladimir smiled as they arrived back at their current home. He shifted happily placing the bag in his mouth and trotting inside the cave his tail wagging the entire way in.
Dusk laughed. "Guess that makes me faint of heart.' She said softly before looking around some. "I haven't seen anyone who stands out more than anyone else. Kajel is pretty interesting and your interesting, and well I just find everyone in that state of interesting." She said softly with a chuckle. ((We are having sever thunderstorms right now sorry if I disappear.)) |
Luna stayed in her human form simpley because she had gotten use to it.She smiled and almost laughed as Vlad put the bag in his mouth and went on ahead.Luna walked on and sat the pies down inside the cave near the entrance and looked up at the sky.Tonight she would travel around in the woods while most of them were asleep and see if there was any hunters near.Luna stretched as the last bit of the sun pressed against her skin.

Seth smiled when Vladimir scuffed his hair, and batted at the "elder" wolf's hand, knocking it aside. His gaze followed him as Vlad shifted forms, dashing about and toward home. Seth, too, kept his human form, having a preference for being on two legs instead of four. It was only when he caught the scent of the pies that his mouth started watering, and the youth headed forward after the two in the lead. He passed Luna with a small nudge, and then slipped over toward Vladimir. Though his grace was apparent, his speed was greater. Seth was lithe, fast, and he had the body to prove it. He never had been very thick; tall and lanky, mostly.
Running his hand over Vladimir's ears, he laughed, bumping his clan mate with his leg before moving to get ready to eat. "Eating now?" he asked in his usual rasping voice, tilting his head in a dog-like motion. Amber eyes flashed with eagerness as he realized just how hungry he was. |
