Yukina yellped as she tripped and fell in the forest.Rain had been poreing down for most of the day and she had been runnig for days. She had escapped a dark demons home.Her family had been slaughterd befor her eyes and the deamon had took her and made her his homes servent. A few nigts ago she had escaped.And hadnt stopped running.She slowly sat up and herears twitched hearing cars.She made her way to a bush.She sighed in relief seeing a city a few miles down th road.Then looking around she forced herself to run again.She finaly stopped once she was in the city,hidden in a ally way she sat down. Catching hr breath,doing what she could to stay out of sighed.She shivered.She was wet and cold.

Sho sighed as he sat in caffe sipping on a hot chocolate.He looked out a wondow surprised that it had been raining all day long.

Eva rushed down the sidewalk.She had to get into a dry building and of course with her luck she totally forgot an umbrella.She held a newspaper she grabbed above her head.....although it wasen't really working.She quickly spotted a small caffe a few feet away.Eva picked up her pace and opened the door where she was hit by the cold AC.She growled and threw the soaked newspaper into the trash.Eva was soaking wet and know she was freezing and wet."What a gorgeous day..."She whispered sarcasticly.Eva sat down at one of the tables and glared out the window.She was snapped out of her vulger thoughts about the rain when she heard someone ask her what she wanted." I'll have a hot chocolate."She whispered.Maybe that could warm her up.....very unlikley though.

Kaden ears twitched when he heard someone come down the dark,now damp,cold,and wet ally.He looked up and was suprised to see a girl who was sitting only a few feet away from him.Kaden watched the girl who looked tired,hungrey,and seemed like she had been running pretty fast since she was breathing quickly."What have you been running from?"He said in a low,deep voice.

Yukina jumped and backed up ,while in the sitting position and stared towwards him,her eyes full of terror."w-wh-who are you",she mutterd softly.She was terified,there were dark circles under her eyes.What if it ws one of the deamons lackeys sent out t
o retrive her,she didnt want to go back!

Shos ears twitched as teh girl came in.He watched her and looked at his bag,there was a spare unberella in it.Getting up he went to her and handed it to her."um ...here",he said softly.

Eva looked up when she heard a voice directing to her.She looked up at a man that was holding an umbrella towards her.She couldn't help but laugh."Th....Thanks."She said.Eva slowly extended her hand and took the umbrella from the man."It would have been better if you where out there but I suppose it doesn't matter."She said,laying down on the table.At least she wouldn't get soaked when she had to get back to her apartment.A woman placed her hot chocolate on the table and quickly left.Eva wrapped her hands on the hot cup and smiled.It was to hot to take a sip but she did enjoy the warmth radiating from the cup.

Kaden rolled his eyes and took his hoodie off and looked over at the girl who was pratically shaking with fear."Well I'm Kaden....although I don't think that really matters to you.I might have scared you but you really shouldn't be shaking so much.By the way you haven't answered my question.What where you running from?"He asked.

Yukina stared at im."i...i was running from a deamon",she siad softly."it was far from here ...",she said softly."whts the name of this city anywse?"

Sho smiled at her."if i saw you outside i would have",he said hapily then smiled at her as she got her hot chocolate."i love hot chocolate,it keeps anyone warm when its cold",he said before owing to her then went back to his table and continued to drink his hot chocolate.

Eva raised her eyebrow a little when she saw him bow.She only nodded."Goodbye."She whispered.Eva waited for a few minutes to take small sips from her hot chocolate.She quickly started to take large gulps and before she knew it had finished her hot chocolate.Eva frowned but now that her insides where warm,she wasent completely soaking wet,and she had an umbrella she felt pretty good.A woman came out and took the cup back into the kitchen.She laid down a few bucks for the hot chocolate and a tip.Eva stood from her chair and walked over to the man she was speaking to before."Have a nice time drinking your hot chocolate...and thanks again for the umbrella.."Eva said.She quickly turned away and walked out to the pouring rain.She opened the umbrella before the rain hit her and she smiled."Sweet...."She said with a small laugh and started to make her way down the street.

Kaden looked at the girl with a odd expression."Really? A demon? Well at least he isn't just around the corner.By the way your in the city of Gattus."He said leaning back against the damp wall.

Yukina thought a moment and nodded."okay",she said sofly and closed her eyes feeling tierd.She shevered when a cool breeze blew.

Sho watched her leave and smiled brightly."no prob",he called out and as he also finished.Then sighed as he started to walk home with his unberella.

Kaden nodded.He watched as her eyes started to close.He quickly stood and shook her some."Hey...don't sleep out here.You can catch a cold.Come back to my....living area."He said,looking down at her.

Eva took slow and steady steps back to her apartment.She traveled down the street,took a left,the a right,then finally another left and made it to her apartment building.She closed the umbrella before walking inside and started down the hall.

Sho walked along as well ,he ended up at his apartment building witch hapend to be the same one as Eva lived in. Getting there he made his ay to his appartment ,yawning bordly.

Yukinas eyes shot open.Fear in them a moment then relaxed seeing it was Kaden. She looked at him a moment then nodded."al-alright ... then lead the way Kaden",she saod softly.

Kaden nodded and the took Yukinas hand and pulled her up.He let her hand go when he knew she was steady on the ground."It's not that far away.It's actually just down this ally."Kaden said,turning around and starting down the ally.

Eva jumped slightly hearing a yawn.She quickly looked over to where she heard the noise and raised an eyebrow when she saw the guy from before.Eva almost wanted to laugh but she stayed quiet and quietly tiptoed over to where he was.Eva poked him in the back and held up the umbrella."Thanks for the umbrella but if you lived right next to me then I suppose I don't need this anymore."She said.

Yukinas ears twitched as she followed him.She looked around the ally then ack at him."th-thank you",she said softly.Not to sure of Kaden just yet.But he was the first peson that she had met who was nice,in a long time.And she was glad that he was nice.

Sho nearly had a heart attack but laughed seeing her."hey,whats the chance of this hapening",he laughed takeingingthe unberella."if you want you can keep it"

Kaden nodded his head."No problem."He whispered.Kaden stopped infront of a small shack and opened the small door to it."I know it isn't much but it's better than nothing...."He said looking down at Yukina.

Eva started to laugh when she saw the mans reaction.She quickly gained control of her laughter and shook her head."I know....very strange.But No you keep it.I just forgot mine today.I didn't know it was supposed to rain all day...."She said.Eva rocked back and forth on her feet for a few seconds before speaking again."Well I should get going..."She whispered.

Yukina looked at it and smiled."its better then what i was livein in",she said smileing at him.

Sho slowly nodded."um yeah me too...uhh....just curious ....tomorrow if your not doing anything,whould you like to join me for hot chocolate?"

Kaden smiled."Alright."He said and pulled her in.The shack only had blankets covering the floor and a few pillows,also two crates that where suppose to be something to sit on.Kaden sat down on the floor and laid down on one of the pillows."Well you can sleep here tonight if you want.There are planty of blankets and there is a pillow over there for you.In the morning I can get us something to eat if you want."He said looking up at Yukina.

Eva smiled. " Sounds fun.I'll be there at.....11 A.M tomorrow if thats alright with you.....if not then I can always set up another time.I'm not doing anything tomorrow but just sitting around at my place and relaxing."She said.

Yukina smiled as she laid down and looked to him."that be nice...thank you",she said yawning.Closeing."good night,and sweet dreams",she said softly and was then asleep instently.A soft smile on her face.

Sho smiled."11AM it is then....uh have a good night",he said with a huge smile and went into his appartment

Kaden smiled and closed his eyes as well.He was suprised at how fast Yukina had fallen asleep.He soon fell into a light slumber.

"Night.'She said and walked back into her apartment.Eva quickly changed into some pajamas and laid down in her bed.She closed her eyes and quickly fell asleep.

Kaden woke to the sound of rain on the shack....well more like a light drizzle.He stood up from the makeshift bed and opened the door.He knew it wouldn't rain for that much longer.He closed the door and sat back down,leaning against one of the crates.

Eva rolled over in her bed,wrapping herself in her covers.She didn't want to wake but it was already 10:00 in the morning.Eva slowly sat up and untangled herself from her comforter.Eva stood from her bed and took a quick 15 minute shower,brushed her hair and teeth,finally dressed in a white t-shirt with a black jacket over it,blue jeans and black boots.When she was finally done she sat back down on her bed and glanced over at the clock which read 10:45.Eva rolled her eyes and laid back down on her bed,waiting for it to be at least 10:55 before she left to go to the man.

Yukina groaned in her sleep.Then her ears twitching she opened her eyes and slowly sat up rubbing her eyes.She smiled at Kaden."good morning",she said smileing at him brightly.She was relived that she was still in the shack. And that she hadnt dremt meeting Kaden. As she had been wakeing up she was scared to wake in the deamons home.

Sho yawned as he woke the next morning he sat up and opening his blinds he smiled seeing the rain wasnt comeing down as hard anymore.Just incase he made a mental note to take an unberella.He took a shower,got dessed and then grabbing his unberella he headed out.Wanting to leave a little early so he wouldnt be late.

Kaden looked over at Yukina when he heard her sit up.He smiled."Well good morning.I was going to let you sleep but I suppose you woke up from the rain or me getting up.."Kaden said with a chuckle."After the rain stops we can go get something to eat."He said

Eva hopped out of her bed when she saw the time was almost 11.She must have dozed off for a few minutes.She was amost to the door when she remembered the weather report saying it would be raining in the morning.She quickly ran to her living room and grabbed the umbrella she had set there yesterday but forgot it.She smiled and locked the door behind her when she left the apartment.Eva opened the umbrella when she was outside the apartment building and quietly made her way to the cafe.

Yukina looked at him and smiled."i woke up naturally",she said streaching and smiled at him."and food sounds breat...once the rain stops",she giggeled some bu smiled at him."thank you for being so kind to me Kaden",she said giveing him a bow.

Sho sat at a table lookingover the menu.He had gptten there a few mties ago and had told the wightress eh wished to wait untill Eva orived.

Kaden shook his head."No problem.I don't mind helping someone in need.It's not like my life can get any worse."He said with a chuckle.He turned around and peered outside.It was now only a very light drizzle.He would wait just a few more minutes before going out and getting something to eat with the remainder of the money he had left.

Eva closed the umbrella before walking into the cafe.It was suprising but she was actually dry rather than soaking wet.She scanned around before she spotted the man.A small smile spread across her lips as she walked over and sat down in the chair opposite of him.She hung her umbrella from the chair and looked back at Sho."Morning."She said.

Sho smiled at her brightly."good morning .... ",he said handing her the menu."I already know what I want,so take your time"

Yukina looked at him and smiled some."still there had to be a way for me to repay you in some way",she said hapily.

Eva shook her head and laid the menu down. "I don't really eat in the morning.I'll jsut have some hot chocolate and I'll be set."She said with a smile. Eva tilted her head to the side and stared at the man curiously. "So here we are in the cafe...eating breakfast and I don't even knw your name. Mine is Evangeline but you can just call me Eva for short. Now tell me....what is yours???"She said.

Kaden waved his hand infront of him. "No.I'm just glad that situation you were in you got away from.There is no need to repay me.You can stay here as long as you need until you find a job or someone else to live with."Kaden said.

Sho chuckeled."right,thats rude of me",he smiled at her."Im Sho,and its nice to know your name Eva",he said with a hudeg smile on his face then looekd at weighress as she came."Two hot chocolates,mine with a bit of milk in it please,and a tosted bagel with cream cheese",he watched the weightress leave then looked to Eva."so....tell me about yourself ....likes?disslikes?schooling?singel or not?"

Yukina looked at him curiously but smiled brightly at him.her eyes lighting up."thank you so much",she said bowing to him.Then sat normal and sat patiently,blushing when her stomach growled,she wrapped her arms around it and looked down."s-sorry",she mutterd,Then a few moments after let out a sneeze and she sighed."sorry ....again",she said evoiding looking at him.
