"Papers, papers."
Elaina sighed as she sorted through the papers spread out across her desk, disinterest clearly written on her face. She picked one up, her grey eyes skimming over it, before she shook her head and tossed it in the trash. She had been told to clean out the archives, starting with the first folder and working her way back. She'd been at it for three days, and she was still on the first folder.
Elaina got up and stretched, her wings spreading a little bit. There was no room for her to really stretch them in the cramped office; you would have thought someone upstairs (Or maybe right next door, as it were) would have thought of something like that.
With a backward glance at the thick layer of papers on her desk, Elaina decided it would be a good idea to go outside and get some fresh air. The office was pleasant enough, but her wings were starting to get cramped. She grabbed the heavy keys and tied them to her waist before ducking out of the room, making sure it was locked. Wouldn't do to have anyone making off with one of the papers, after all. Not if they were any important, anyways.
She went outside and took a deep breathe, smiling a little. It was always so nice out here; the sun was nice and warm, the air clean and fresh. Nothing like on Earth, where pollution made everything taste like dirt. She stretched her wings to their full extent, before letting them settle bac against her back.
[[Heavenly paperwork ftw >.> I couldn't think of anything else to write, my brain is on strike all of a sudden ]]
