"For fun...I play a few instruments, if that counts? And I tend to be the one who takes care of the garden, many of my brothers view it as a waste of time." He replied softly, leading her through the labyrinth of hallways without even giving his surroundings a glance. He noticed her inching closer to him and laughed softly, "No one will harm you dear one. They wouldn't dare...especially since you are with me." the second part he added had a tinge of bitterness behind it.

Kana blushed and looked to the ground, falling away from him gently. "Oh..." she said quietly. "A waste of time? How so? I think gardening is fun...and relaxing...except my garden was on my windowsill...my parents never really let me go anywhere." she said quietly. "This was my first time going somewhere alone and I get kidnapped." she said, sighing. |

@Marsyas: I said many not all XD maybe he can go and accidentally set Alvaro off? ...hmm....)) Alvaro's expression softened further. His father really made the worst decisions at the worst times. How to cheer her up again...? "I could give you a spot in my private garden so you can grow your own garden. That is, if you would like." Alvaro offered softly, he had sealed off a part of the garden, claiming it as his own and only grew select flowers in there. Mainly black roses, he seemed to have a knack for growing some of the harder to grow plants. |
Kana looked up at him, her smile wide and her eyes bright with thrill. "Would you, please? I love planting things!" she said, cheering up a bit. Her walk started to have a little bit of a spring in it, caused from being so happy. "Thank you, Alvaro, I really appreciate it." she said, smiling still.

(I know, I was just giving a willing example of one who did like to garden and idk if you want Seregil fighting at all... He's as calm as they come and has a temper that may be the worst of all of the brothers besides, he wouldn't want to fight his younger brother for any reason at all.)

The soft smile was back on Alvaro's face, "You are very welcome." he laughed. Then he opened a side door and gestured for Kana to go through, "This way please." He followed after her and then looked around. It was surprising what just one door could hide. In the full moonlight was an entire garden, filled with all sorts of flowers, illuminated, not only by the moonlight, but by fireflies that danced in the air. There was a step-stone path that led deeper into the garden and he took the left path, towards his garden. |

Kana followed close behind, mezmorized by the awesome light and beauty of the garden. "Wow..." she whispered under her breath. She shook out of her daze and looked at the flowers as they walked. "This is beautiful..." she said.

Alvaro nodded and then stopped before a wrought iron gate. After unlocking it, he held the gate open for Kana. There were two black rose bushes right in the entryway, further on were other flowers, black rose bushes randomly dotting the area, a few white rose bushes also surrounded the area. There was only one red rosebush. The rest of the area had forget-me-nots and a number of small flowers. Alvaro placed a hand on Kana's shoulder and steered her over to one of the sides where there was a patch of empty ground, "This will be yours now." he said and then held out the key he had used to open the gate for Kana to take.

Kana gently took the key from his hand and stared at it, then opened it and touched the ground gently, then smiled up at him. "Thank you, Alvaro...I really do appreciate this..." she said quietly. Looking at the bare land gave her hope for it...she pictured what she would do to it in her mind.

@ Sikira: Yeah but I was waiting for his brother to reply too sorry...) Seregil smiled at the woman and took her hand placing a gentle kiss just above her knuckles, "I apologize you two but it seems I now have an urge to go see the garden, you may join me if you'd like." He extended the invitation to them both but didn't wait to see if they would follow him as he left and went down the hall way towards the library. He gave a courteous nod to Lucas and the woman he was with as he passed then walked through the side door and down the pathway towards the garden. He unlocked the iron gate noticing that Alvaro was already here entertaining a lovely lady, "Good to see you're doing fine now little brother," he said with a smile. Then he turned to the woman, "I don't believe we've met yet milady, my name is Seregil," he announced as he took a polite bow." (Too many introductions... lol) |
Alvaro glanced up as his brother walked in and his face lit up, "Yes, thanks to you Seregil." He glanced back down to Kana and offered her a hand to help her back up, "Don't mention it dear...now what brings you here brother?" Seregil rarely had time to visit the garden Alvaro knew, so it was a nice surprise to see him there.

Looking around at the garden a soft smile grew on his face, "I had come to see how the garden looked. It's in fair condition but not as good as it would be if I were still tending to it," he gave a wink to his younger sibling. "It's somewhat regrettable that I'm away so much but it can't be helped, father is extremely demanding and I for one can't stand having any of my freedom being taken away." A sentiment that was eating at him since he was being forced to marry within the next thirty days but he knew he had no choice, so he was trying to make the best of it.

Kana smiled and nodded to him. "Kana." she said. She noticed that the men were having their own conversation, so she frowned and looked around at her surroundings, hoping to find something interesting to look at.

Turning his attention to the female in their presence Seregil smiled, "It's a pleasure to meet you Kana, I hope you will find one of us suitable to your liking," of course when he said us he was referring to all of his brothers not just the two of them. She seemed to look slightly said for some reason and so the silver eyes vampire walked over to her gently turning her attention to him, "You mustn't frown in our company, I couldn't bare to see you that way and it is unbecoming of a beautiful young lady like yourself." His tone held a subtle allure yet again even though he had no intention of it, it was simply part of being a vampire.

Alvaro crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head, "Don't let Lucus hear you brother, he almost punched me in the face, and you know how much nerve that takes." He chuckled, "in fact, he jumped at the idea of..." He leaned in closer to his brother's ear, not wanting to disturb Kana with what he was saying, "...locking me in the dungeons because of you-know-what." He leaned back then and ran a hand through his hair, turning his gaze skyward.

Kana blushed and smiled a little. "No...I'm just waiting for your conversation is over is all." she said. Kana's eyes glared toward them as she saw them whispering. "He jumped at the idea of what?" she asked, being slightly suspicious. "Please, tell me. I won't say anything to Lucus if you tell me if it's about him, I swear I won't." she said.

Seregil listened to his brother with a slightly devious smile on his face, "Well if Lucas thinks he can handle him, then I say you let him out and see." As long as Seregil was around Albel would hurt no one other than whomever Seregil allowed him to focus his sights on, he could keep him contained. Not necessarily control him, but he never tried either, after all he was his brother.

Alvaro chuckled, "As long as you are in the room, I don't need him causing dear Lucus any harm." Then he turned back to Kana, "It isn't about Lucus, don't worry. It was just a little...inside joke." His smile dimmed slightly, yes...an inside joke...

Turning to Kana, Seregil put on a sad face, "I'm sorry Kana but we cannot tell you yet, but I am sure that you will find our before the thirty days are up, it is bound to happen." He didn't mean that as an insult to Alvaro but it wasn't uncommon of Albel to run wild on occasion so he hoped that this would pacify her for a while at least. Then looking to Alvaro he said, "If Lucus wants to cause trouble then I'll allow you to give him some but you won't hurt him, they can argue for a bit though." Seregil smiled at the thought, it would be a sight to behold and quite entertaining at that. |
