"Are you sure you want to leave that big a tip?" She asked Rai, not that she was ungrateful, but she didn't think she deserved that much. "Thanks Yamato, I wish my dad was here to see this, I used to love making him proud of me." She heard a light plop nearby, and upon turning, she noticed a little choclate covered butterfly looking thing. But she knew better than to think it was really a butterfly. "How cute!" she gushed, as the little fairie stuffed his face full of cupcake. Looks like he had gotten ahold of a chocolate cherry cupcake. She thought she heard Toya talking, and as she had been awaiting his return from the office, turned and looked for him. She looked forward to their next conversation, because she thought he was a really interesting man. She loved it when someone was able to pay attention to what she was saying, and prided herself on being different from most girls.

Rai could feel him as soon as he was close and smiled at Aria. "Of course." Rai smiled and shook her head as the fairy fell for his weakness of sweets and sat on the counter eatting a chocolate covered cherry. "Besides, I would have paid that much for the sweets to begin with. And you not only brought me nearly everything, but you kept me compnay as well." Looking at the fairy Rai sighed slightly. -Great way to expose us all. But since it is Yamato's shop...well maybe it won't be such a problem- Glancing at Aria as she heard Toya's voice Rai smiled. "That Toya sure is something." Rai said with a smile to Aria. "I am sure he will be out soon and good luck." Rai grinned as she spoke, having noticed the attraction between the two earlier.

Moving over to the counter where the fairy sat she looked down at him. -It shouldn't be a problem.- Rai thought to herself as she tried to reassure herself of just that. -Yamato wouldn't tell anyone and I don't know if anyone else can even see him for what he really is. So it should be fine...I hope.-

Alex peeked over her shoulder and her suspicious were correct it wasn't a butterfly at all but a fairy."Hmm he sure likes that chocolate cherry maybe I should set out a bowl of them."She thought to herself while she went and got a bowl of chocolate cherries from the kitchen and made a little trail of them over to the display counter where she set the bowl down.

Jake looked at Yamato with a huge smiled "yes that sound sgreat" he stood up and huged Yamato "thank you so much, you will not get another complaint from a custoumer again, i will always be happy and not grumpy... mind you there are a few reason why i was grumpy, but now i can be happy" then he let go of Yamato and coughed and sorted himself out "sorry... i don't know what came over me"

Yamato hugs him back "I understand, and I also know your little secret Jake. Your an elf, I've known for a long time, that is why I didn't hire you at first. If you would have been honest with me from the get go I would have hired you. If you can still do the special orders that would be great though. I can still really use you for that job. All of your main deliveries will be handled by Jim. He is in charge of getting out all the larger orders. Toya is the main manager of the delivery crew, so if you need to ask a question about a delivery go to him directly, or Jim. I don't handle any of that stuff, just the special orders. So welcome to the staff, and you can start your training tomorrow at 7am. If I have any deliveries for you to make I will inform Jim, but if I don't then stick with your training till I need you. You have a good one Jake."

Jake was shooked when Yamato mentioned that he knew that Jake was a elf "you know im a elf... but how? i mean, i kept it secret so that no humans would know... and now you know" he looked around and the back at Yamato "how do you know im a elf?" he asked as he stepped back a bit

"Well I can tell these things Jake, it's just like I knew about others being faeries. I have been able to "See" this kind of stuff for a long time. It's okay, I won't tell others about your secret. To them you just look like a really handsome human. So you must be like really old by now, at least to human standards that is. You also could tell that this shop has faeries in it couldn't you?" Looking at Jake with a smile.

Maria smiled at Madison."So madison lets be good friends so lets get to know one another."Maria said with a smile at Madison.Maria kept her hands behind her back.

Jake looked at Yamato with a slight smile "well... i am 1000 years old... i still have near enough 9000 years to go" he said with a small chuckle "well i did get a slight feeling that there was fairy around... but i diidn't want to ask because i thought you would think im crazy"

"Well now you know that I wouldn't think you are crazy. So it's okay to talk about it with me whenever you want to. I need to get back to work now so I will talk with you later okay? I hope everything works out for you."

Yamato then goes back out to help with showing Aria how to close out the register for the day. "Everyone it is closing time, if there is any last minute things you need please come up and get them now. I will be closing the register in three minutes so you know." Yamato then sees the faerie on the counter eating a cupcake and chocolate covered cherries and chuckles under his breath. Not knowing who did, but expecting it to be Alex. Yamato looks her way and just gives her a friendly smile.

Now that Toya is done cleaning he went over to talk with Aria, but noticed she was busy getting trained on how to close out the register and decided to just wait a little longer to talk with her. Toya really liked her, but didn't know if he was moving to quickly or not. He had never had a girlfriend before, so this was all kind of new for him.

Jake thought about what Yamato said, then he shook his head and walked up to the counter "just before i go... can i have that cake i ordered earlier?" he asked getting out his wallet "i have changed my mind now"

"Sure Jake, let me find it really quickly. Okay here it is. That will be $13 dollars please."

Jake nodded and pulled out $15, he handed it over and smiled "you can keep the change... its my way of saying thank you" he then picked up the box "can i stay until you accually lock the door?"

"Sure thing Jake, I don't have a problem with that. Seeming we are about to close up now. I will be right back with you. Everyone we are closed now, I will need you to start leaving as we will be closing the door in 5 minutes. The register is now closed for the rest of the day so enjoy and have a good evening." Looking at Jake and Aria "So why did you want to stay after, and Aria now to start training you on closing the register. Closing isn't that hard, but I will take my time and show you each step. If you have any questions just ask me okay?" Looking at Aria with a smile.

Jake chuckled "i don't know, its just that this place makes me happy" he looked around "is it magical? thats what usaly makes me smile" he said then he stood up "i will leave if you want me too"

"Jake of course not, I don't mind if you stay. It is nice of you to stick around and all. I also what to ask, outside the faerie sitting on our counter over there, do you see any other faeries in the shop currently? Don't say who, just write it down for me. I want to see if you can spot any others in here." Looking at Jake and wondering if he will pick out Rai or not.

Jake looked around and he frowned "well... not from what i can tell, but i have used my elf powers for at least 200 years, i haven't even seen my elf form neither" he looked at his hands "i delt i can even turn into it anymore, i have never been able to change into it because of the fact im scared a human might see it and then they will tell every one"

"Hmmmm, Let me see something. My mom once told me that I had magical hands, come here for just a second Jake. I want to test something out. If you don't mind that is? It will require me to touch your face. I know that sounds kind of weird, but let's see if it does anything to you." Looking at Jake with a curious expression.

Jake looked at him and smiled "let me guese, you will try and change my form?" he said and then walked closer "well i haven't seen what i really look like for ages, so i suppose it would be great if you can change me, and thank you"

"Okay!" Aria said smiling at Yamato, while also looking at the strange boy named Jake. She made sure to keep an eye on the fairie too though. She couldn't wait to get a moment alone with Toya.

Sae finished the candy within seconds, even thought it was as big as his head. He licked his fingers clean and began to work on his wrists when he noticed another chocolate cherry ahead of him. Still, he wasn't exactly trying to hide the fact he was a fairy as he flew to the next one and plopped in front of it. It took him a little longer to finish this one, because now he was savoring the sweet juices and the cherry inside. And he was on his way to the third cherry when the lightbulb in his head went off and he realized people were looking at him.

Sae froze mid step, looking around at the people in the room. Some were still busy but a few had noticed his presence. "Oh no!" he cried, bright eyes going wide with fright. What would his parents think of him now, that he'd been seen?! Sae took no chances. He turned on his heel and darted forward. Of course he wasn't paying much attention as to where he was going, he was just thinking to get out of the bakery. And this only caused another incident. Sae ran smack into a sugar bag. The bag itself wobbled a little but did not fall over. Sae though, bounced back and landed on the counter with a gentle 'thud'. "OW!" he yelped, knocking his head against the hard surface. Tears welled up in his eyes as he sat there, his lower lip quivering.

Rai heard Yamato mention the store closing and debated taking the little fairy with her to keep him out of trouble. She would have been willing to share her cake if that is what it took. Rai sighed slightly as the little fairy realized people were watching him and went to take off only to run into a sack of sugar and land hard on the counter. Rai crouched down slightly to be eye level with the counter and smiled a little. "Hurt a bit didn't it?" Rai asked the little fairy quietly. "You ok?" Rai glanced over to where Yamato was preoccupied with Jake and then at Aria and Alex who both seemed to be paying attention to the little fairy. "You weren't very careful were you? I am guessing that chocolate covered cherries are your weakness then." Rai smiled brightly at the little fairy. "My name is Rai by the way. What is yours?"

Sae blinked at the woman in front of him, quickly rubbing his eyes to get the tears away. Although he was only a couple inches tall, he prided himself on being a man and wouldn't let anyone see him cry. "I'm okay," he answered, placing his palms on the counter beside him and pushing himself up unsteadily. There was a bump on his head but it was nothing serious, only his pride was hurt for having been seen and being clumsy. "Yea they're good. I don't get a lot of sweets 'cept when I come here," he replied, 'here' meaning the human city and not the pastry shop specifically. "Name's Sae, like 'say' when you talk. But not spelled the same."

He walked over to the third cherry and picked it up, then carried it back to where the woman was, and sat down to eat it. He wasn't too worried about being spotted now, he already had been, it wasn't like he could make her forget, plus others had seen him. So he hoped they'd just be quiet about it. Nibbling on the cherry slowly, he asked, "Can you get me a napkin or something?"

Alex watched as the little Fairy tried to make a speedy escape when he noticed that he was being watched.She thought too herself"owwie!"when he hit the sugar bag but Rai had beaten her too going and checking to see if he was ok.Still she wanted to make sure the little guy was alright so she picked up the bowl and walked up behind Rai and peered around her."Want some more cherries little guy too take home with you or too eat maybe?"she asked the fairy who's name she had yet to learn.

Rai smiled as Sae picked up another cherry and sat down. At his request Rai picked up a napkin and placed it down next to him. "How often do you come to the human world?" Rai asked quietly still smiling. It had been a long time since she had spoken to any of her kind. Feeling Alex next to her Rai moved over so Alex could join them. "Sae I might suggest you come back to this shop from now on. They have the best sweets." Rai smiled. "Plus I think your secret will be safe here. I will cover the charge for anything to take back with you too." Rai was all but beaming from having meet another of her kind after so long.
