"Yeah true but I wasn't your employee when I got here."She said in a matter of fact kind of way."Ah there you go again with that off in la la land look of your!"Alex exclaimed pointing at Yamato.

"What? Do you really believe I like you that way? You seem nice is all, I like nice people so if you think I like you more than just a friend then you should just ask me." Looking at Alex hoping she will ask. Then thinking to himself "I hope she doesn't think I'm to weird or anything. I don't want to make the wrong impression on the first day. That would suck if she didn't at least like me a little that way."

Alex tweaked Yamato on the nose"Well if you give me that look over lunch I just might have to ask.By the way your kinda cute when you are all flustered like this."She giggled after she said that then turned bright red"OMG did I just say that too my BOSS!?!?!"she thought to her self.

Realizing what she had just said, Yamato started turning bright red himself and just didn't say a word, he just smiled back and went on driving to the diner. As he got there he went to open her door for her and closed it behind her. "I hope you like this restaurant, it is where I have all my meetings if they are during lunch, and you will be required to be there for all those meetings. I hope you don't mind them. Sometimes they can be very boring, but afterward we always eat. Normally we have meetings on Sunday afternoon, due to the fact that we are closed on Sunday so people can go to their churches and stuff like that. I hope this is okay with you? Meetings are only once a month though and always the last Sunday of the month. So don't make plans for that day okay?" Looking at Alex waiting for her reply.

Alex decided to pick a good spot to stare at for a bit and that spot was the ground."Oh ok do they last very long these meetings I mean?"She asked never looking up for a split second.

Trying to look Alex in the face but not having much success "Well normally an hour, if they last longer then only the people it affects have to stay. I try to keep them to an hour though. If they go longer then that, people tend to get annoyed seeming it's on a Sunday. It's just we don't open at all Sunday so people don't mind that much. I like to give my employees a day off, and Saturday is our day to sell off all the left overs of Friday. We only stay open till 11am on Saturday, I have found no one really comes in after that point so there is no need to stay open. We also only have two waitstaff on and either me or Toya are the main greeter for Saturday. So we get every other Saturday off. Even though I still come in to see if every thing is okay." Still trying to look at Alex and smiling.

Alex fiddled with her napkin daring not to look up for the fear of finding something else to complement her new boss on"Oh so does that mean I have work on Saturday too or will my help not be needed."she asked

"Well only once a month do I require the waitstaff to be on. I think I can make it so you don't have to unless you want to get in on the rotation of management that comes in on Saturday. The nice thing about Saturday is we open at 7am like normal but are only open till 11am. So if you want to you can do that, but otherwise you won't ever be required to work a Saturday, because you are a cook also. I only require Toya, because he is my best friend and part owner of the shop. He is also in charge of the delivery crew directly. I just supervise to make sure things are all good is all." Yamato bends down to table level and looks Alex in the face with a funny expression to try and make her laugh and open up a little.

Alex looked towards the middle of the table to only have Yamato scar the living day lights out of her. And with that Alex let out the most girly scream to ever be heard in the area."Wha!! what are you doing Mister!!"

Jake woke up and slowly got out of bed "dam... what time is it?" he asked himself, when he looked at the clock he chuckled "hmmmmm... what sould i get to eat... oh yeah" he walked to his cubord and pulled out a packet of crisps "cheese and onion, my favouret"

"You looked like you were worried about something so I wanted to be a little goofy to possibly cheer you up a little. I'm sorry I scared you though. I didn't mean to, I hope you know that? Are you okay though? Oh by the way get whatever you want for lunch, this one is on me." Looking at Alex and shying away a little due to her outburst. Then thinking to himself "I really didn't mean to scare her. I hope she doesn't dislike me for that." Yamato gets a slightly worried look on his face.

Alex poked Yamato in the leg with her foot."Hey no turning into a mister gloomy gills now and I think I'll have a B.L.T Club."

Yamato waves over a waitress that seems to know him very well. The waitress says "Yamato I see you finally brought a lady with you, it's about time you found yourself a girlfriend. I was starting to wonder about you. That friend of yours Toya, he seems kind of fresh with you sometimes. Well what will you two have for lunch today." Yamato turns bright red at her comment and says I will have my usual and my friend here will have the B.L.T club meal. Could you also bring a pitcher of water over too. We may be here for a little bit." The waitress looks at him and nod, then Yamato looks at Alex and smiles still bright red from the waitress comment.

"So I can't us the I bet you bring every girl here line darn. And thanks to that waitress I have this chick staring daggers at me.Wow Yamato you must be 'popular' with the ladies."Alex said with a little eyebrow wiggle and giggle

Still blushing a little at all of this "You want to hear about my dream I have been having for so long I can't remember?" Looking at Alex hoping she did.

Alex nodded"Well as long as its not like my reoccurring dreams cause I've had enough of zombies as of late."She giggled as a after thought

"Well for a long time now I have dreamt about this girl, never really clear until lately. She would come in and the only thing I could remember was a shirt, with a cupcake on it. Untill about a month ago, that was all I seen. Then the dream became really clear and I started getting more and more details until just this week I dreamt about someone coming in today that looked just like you and wanted a cupcake. In my dream I had made just one special cupcake and then I woke up. I believe that girl was you. You are wearing the same shirt and everything. I know it sounds weird, but in my dreams you were also helping me at the shop and we were more than just coworkers or friends. I can't shake it but I really want to ask you something, but I'm afraid you may take it the wrong way. I'm glad you decided to work for me......and" Yamato kind of mumbles under his breath "Will you date me?" still trying to mumble a little and looking at Alex hoping she didn't understand him.

"foods here and I will give you a answer after we finish eating cause I want to get to know you a little bit better"Alex said with a smile as her BLT club was placed in front of her.

Aria walked in for another day of work, she would have said same old same old, but everything about this shop reminded her of her father. Before the wreck, he brought her in here almost daily for a breakfast of powdered donuts. She loved working here with all of the sugary sweets, and on slow days she would think up new ways of decorating the cakes, or rearranging the displays. She wished someone would come in and order something, she was excited about getting her paycheck this week. She had found the cutest little dress and she wanted to wear it to a party this friday. Her crush was going to be there or so she thought. She was really bored and wished she had someone to talk to.

Toya looked over at Aria "Are you okay, you seem kind of bored right now? If you want to chit chat for a bit I don't mind. So what do you have planned for this weekend, I heard that you had Friday off this week. You have a date or something?" Toya taking a slight interest in her well being after all that had happened to her. "I hope everything is okay with you. I heard about your dad and it must be hard without him around. If you don't want to talk about it is fine." Toya looks at her and hopes he didn't offend her.

Yamato looks at Alex and smiles then starts to eat his ham and swiss with a pickle and some chips on the side. Just the way he likes it. Thinking to himself today feels like it's going to be a good day.

Aria looked up noticing Toya there, as she was busy rearranging the cookies, and making a cupcake display. "Yea I have friday off, I have party that my friend invited me to, and I hope my crush is there. I'm really excited, what about you?"

"Well for me I will be here till the store closes, change and stuff here then go out for a bit and have a few beers with Yamato, unless he has a date. If he does then I'm not totally sure yet. Still kind of single and all so I don't normally do much on the weekend." Looking at Aria and thinking she is kind of cute, to bad she is 17.

"Just curious Toya, but how old are you?" She said thinking how cute he was. Probably too old for her, and her mother would kill her if he was over 25. Even though she was excited about seeing her crush Zach, on friday, it couldn't hurt to keep her options open.

"Well I'm only 21. I meet up with Yamato in culinary school. He and I have become really close friends and I was the one that gave him his nickname. He is known as the Magical Pastry Chef. For some reason he never gets a recipe wrong. Try it some time to make him slip up. I did and he without fail corrected it and made the best desert in the class. It was so amazing and we were friends ever since. He even helped me finish my schooling, my family couldn't afford it so he helped me pay off the rest of my bill and told me he would give me a job. He is just a great guy and likes to see everyone happy. He is like an older brother to me." Looking at Aria, I wonder if she likes me or not. Thinking to himself, I wouldn't mind getting to know her a little better some time.

"You seem like a really sweet guy Toya, I'd love to get to know you better. Yamato has known me since I was a little girl. Him and my father were friends, and my father was a regular customer here before he passed. It's really hard to keep going on, especially working somewhere he loved so much, but I try to live my life to the fullest." she said smiling encouragingly at him.
