Amy smiled and nodded "I know.. you aren't like him.... hitting me for the fun of it... you are too kind for that.." She smiled at him and brought his hand up to her mouth and kissed it gently.

Philippe smiled softly at her. "Never."

Amy smiled at him and then closed her eyes. The medicine was taking effect and she was tired. "please don't go..." she mumbled before falling asleep.

Philippe smiled at her softly and gently pressed the back of her hand to his cheek lovingly. "I'll be right here when you wake."

Amy woke up a few hours later and quickly looked around. She relaxed when she saw him still there next to her. "hey.." she said softly. Her voice back to normal and her vision a lot more clearly.

Philippe blinked, then smiled. He'd looked like he'd been daydreaming. "Hello."

Amy smiled and said "welcome back..." He looked as though his thoughts were somewhere else. "you alright? what were you thinking about"

Philippe smiled gently at her and kissed her hand. "It doesn't really matter..."

Amy shivered when he kissed her hand, her temperature was back to normal. "aww please tell me" she said as she looked at him and gave him the puppy dog eyes.

Philippe looked at her, then chuckled softly when she looked at him like that. "I was thinking about what it'd be like once you're settled into your new home."

Amy smiled softly "it seemed awesome" she said with a small smile. The nurse came in and looked at Amy who seemed to be doing a lot better. She looked over at the man besides her "you were lucky to have brought her in when you did..." She then walked over to Amy and began unhooking her from all the machines. When she was about undo the IV amy stopped her. She knew when the needle was pulled out that some blood would flow. She looked over to Philippe and wondered if it was alright or if he would leave.

Philippe smiled softly. "It was." He glanced at the nurse, but quickly looked back at Amy. He didn't want the nurse to freak if she saw his eyes. He gently laid a hand on her arm. "It's alright. I'll be fine."

Amy smiled and looked back to the nurse "he gets sick around blood.." she said as a lame excuse to the nurses weird look. She winced as she pulled out the iv but it was quickly covered by a bandage. The nurse nodded her good bye and left the room. She could leave as soon as she was ready.

Philippe grinned slightly, thinking it amusing that she made that excuse up. But, he smiled at her softly after the nurse left. "That was kind of you to think of me, but it was ok. I wouldn't have attacked you."

Amy looked over to him and smiled weakly. "I know you wouldn't have attacked me.. I just thought you would be uncomfortable.. I know you must be hungry after everything that just happened..." she sat up in bed and cupped his cheek with her good hand "you saved my life.." she said softly.

Philippe smiled softly and lovingly at her, then gently kissed the wrist of her good arm. "Anytime." He looked back at her with a very serious look in his eye.

Amy smiled at him and then shakily stood. It was hard to move without her good arm. Why did it have to be her right arm? She stood and balanced on the wall. "Can we go back home now?" she asked him softly.

((I'm soooo sorry for taking so long to reply. My internet's been down since Thursday night and I just got it back. ><))

Philippe moved out of her way until she asked if they could go. Then he went to her and gently swept her off her feet and carried her bridal style. He smiled at her, not saying a word, just nodding.

Amy smiled to him softly and laid her head on his chest. She didn't want to speak, she just wanted to feel safe in his arms again. Maybe leaving her small shack was a bad idea after all.

Philippe gently kissed her forehead with a loving smile as he took her out of the room and hospital after signing her out.

Amy smiled and closed her eyes, relaxing. She had to trust him, she was just glad he wasn't hurt. Maybe he could help her control her shield more, she was distracted to easily and she couldn't focus.

After walking home, carrying her being slightly paranoid the whole way. But, not in a way that she would know. Once they were home he looked down at her and sighed. "You haven't said a word...are you alright?"

Amy nodded her head at his question. "I'm fine.." The typical girl response to something when nothing was actually fine. She sighed softly and closed her eyes. Why did he have to come back now? Why did he have to hurt the one thing she actually cared about. When her life was finally starting to look better, he had to come back and ruin it. Well he did promise to make her life miserable. She had to trust Philippe and maybe Robert would finally leave her alone.

Philippe didn't look convinced. "Come on...I'm such a bad guy....most of the time." He grinned slightly, maybe he could cheer her up. "What would you like to do when we get home?"

Amy smiled and looked to him and said "Hm.. I am not sure... I could make you something to eat?" she asked him curiously. Maybe she could cut her finger and put some blood into the pasta she would make. He would like that. She smiled at him, she didn't need him worrying about her, she had lived on her own in a tiny shack for years, always getting beaten up, this was nothing new.
