Philippe looked at her for a moment, then sighed softly. "Well...if you want to cook something, I won't protest."
Amy smiled and nodded "You will eat it right? I mean.. you do eat food?" She didn't know how to ask without sounding really rude.
Philippe shrugged slightly. "Sometimes, if I have to. Though, you'd have to add some blood or something into it. Normally human food tastes like ash."
Amy looked to him with a shocked expression. Maybe she shouldn't cook for him afterall. Her eyes lit up when he mentioned blood. "I think I can manage that..." she said with a small smile. She couldn't wait to get started.
Philippe looked at her, glad she was happier. Though he was curious why she was all of a sudden. Could she possibly be that happy to cook for him?
Amy smiled and walked inside rushing into the kitchen. She closed the curtain making sure he didn't enter. This was going to be special for sure. It had to be. Maybe doing all this would finally release the dark hold on her mind. She sighed softly and got a bunch of ingredients and began cooking. She was going to make pasta, it was simple and not hard to burn. The pasta would be quite dry without the proper sauce. She went over to the cabinet and took out a wine glass, it was very pretty and it was quite large.
She hummed while cooking and went to the drawer and grabbed a knife. She gulped and acted quickly, slicing the palm of her hand. She winced and inhaled sharply before holding her palm over a wine glass. She smiled as it filled quickly. Wait, was that a good thing? Maybe she sliced her hand deeper then intended. She took advantage of it still dripping and put it in a small bowl for the pasta sauce. Finally there was enough and she didn't have to cut her hand again, she wrapped a bandage over her hand to stop the bleeding. She gathered the pasta and placed it in a small bowl and then covered it with her special sauce. She then added some butter and cheese for her own bowl. She carried the two bowls into the dining area and then called him over. "lunch is ready!" she smiled and placed the wine glass in front of his setting. Making sure to keep her hand behind her back so he couldn't see the cut. |
Philippe blinked when she rushed away to the kitchen. He had to chuckled because it was too cute. He moved into the library to look for one of his favorite books. He soon smelled her blood and sighed to himself. Why was she doing that? When she finally called him in, her smell was everywhere. It was driving his nose insane. He smiled at her, glad that she was so happy. "I know what you did....though I'm concerned how much you used..." He didn't want her to pass out or need a transfusion. He walked up to her and took her arm gently, examining it for cuts. Then looked at her other arm, noticing it was behind her back. "Let me see." His voice was commanding, but soft.
Amy looked to him and shook her head. "It doesn't matter.. just eat before it gets cold" She thought for a moment if vampires actually liked the cold blood.. then why did they keep it in a refrigerator? She shrugged and pulled her arm away and led him to the table. "sit and enjoy.." she said with a smile. Hopefully she didn't take too much.. but it sure seemed like she did. She wasn't feeling dizzy or woosy so that was a good sign. Maybe she actually didn't take a lot after all.
Philippe frowned slightly, then sighed. "Fine. But sit down." He sat slowly, waiting for her to sit before he would eat a bite.
Amy saw him frowned and frowned herself but did do as he told her to. She sat down at the table, hiding her arm under it while she picked up her fork with the free hand. She twirled her noodles and took a bite. "mmm I am a good cook" she said with a grin. "try some of the wine it is delicious.. or so I hear.." she added with a smile.
Philippe blinked slightly, then eyed the wine bottle. He took it and sniffed it. He resisted chugging it, it smelt soooo good. He looked at her, disapprovingly. He knew what she did...any other time he might have been ok with it. But, she just came back from the hospital. Spilling her blood more, just so he could be satisfied, was not worth it. He sighed though and picked up his fork and tasted the food. He had to admit it was good. The blood took away the ashy taste so he could actually taste the food.
Amy sighed softly, he didn't look happy at all. It was after all their deal, he was to feed from her after saving her. So far, he has saved her a lot and he hasn't gotten anything in return. It was time he had something good to eat. She watched as he didn't drink the wine but did have some pasta. Maybe he would like it after all, she was in trouble, she knew that much. She took another bite of her own pasta, swirling it just as she did before.
Philippe couldn't understand why she insisted on doing this to herself. But, he ate the food, which was good, but he wouldn't say so until after he said something he needed to say to her. But...he couldn't say it just yet. He eyed the wine, then sighed and poured some in his glass and took a sip. It felt like taking a drink of cool water after almost dying of thirst.
Amy looked over to him as he drank, he didn't seem happy at all. She watched as his eyes seemed to brighten after he took a drink. She smiled to herself, he did like it and that was good. She knew she shouldn't have done it, but he did say to add blood to the food to give it taste. So.. she was just doing what he had told her to. Would that go well? Probably not...
Philippe ate and drank the wine until he was done with his food. Then he set the fork down and wiped his mouth. Then he just sat there looking at her.
Amy looked at him and smiled softly, he ate a lot faster then she did. They ate in silence, it wasn't a problem but it seemed like he wanted to tell her something. "are you alright? I mean I know your mad at me for making the special sauce but... you needed it.." Could he really be mad at her forever? She sighed softly and finished up her noodles without saying anything else.
Philippe didn't answer, just watched her as she ate. He wondered what was going through her mind, but soon swept that thought aside. Once she looked like she was done, he stood and motioned for her to follow him.
Amy sighed and put her fork in her plate before looking up to him. He still wasn't speaking. She stood and followed him wondering where he was taking her next. It was huge, yes it could be a continuation of the tour but something told her it wasn't going to be that fun.
Philippe just walked up the stairs, towards the large rooms. His, hers and the spare. He was going to tell her something he didn't want overheard.
Amy followed him up the stairs, she placed her hand on the railing so she didn't trip. Where were they going? They had stopped by the bedrooms. Were they getting a puppy? Or did he have a girlfriend and he was moving her room? She had no idea what was going on. She blushed as an idea went into her mind but she pushed it aside. She was in trouble, he wouldn't be happy with her.
Philippe stopped by his room and opened the door, motioning for her to enter first.
Amy sighed and wondered what he was doing. He was super quiet and that was odd. She took a deep breath and then walked inside. His room was bigger then hers but not by much. Besides, that wasn't the point of this little trip.
Philippe came in after her and shut the door. He looked at her for a moment, he was worried, but he'd let her sweat it out a little longer.
Amy jumped as he closed the door behind them. What was going on? A sudden jolt of fear hit her, he had blood now. He was a lot stronger, was he going to kill her?
Philippe could feel the fear coming from Amy. He wasn't sure what she was scared of though. He slowly walked up to her and gently touched her cheek. "Why are you scared?" His voice was a little displeased, but not because she was scared.
