"Why not?" She asked. She would consider herself pretty lucky to live in a place like this, then again, almost anywhere was better then her home where she was alone most of the time.

"Huum, we could watch tv, or do homework, or just talk" He said. He was hoping she wouldn't pick homework, because that would just be boring. "Huum, or we can, dunno" He said

Randy sighed softly. "The other vampires that live here....aren't the best people to be around."

Jemini was about to say homework, you know, to get it out of the way....but something told her she could do that later. She smiled at him. "How about all the above except homework."

"Then why stay here?" She asked. If he didn't like living here, he could always find somewhere else to live "If I could move out, I would, not like my mother is home anyway, so being alone, on my own would be no different then how it is now" She said with a small laugh

"Haha, I like the way you think" He said. He really didn't want to do homework in till he had to, which meant he was going to push it to the side for as long as he could, in till he had no other choice but to do it.

Randy laughed. "If I could leave, I would....believe me." He couldn't leave...it was his punishment to stay and continue the meetings and deal with the elder vampires that stayed there.

Jemini giggled softly. "Well, I assumed you want to spend our time together doing homework." She reached up and kissed his cheek as they walked.

"I'm sorry" She said as she glanced up at him "Well, you aren't the only one who would move if you could" She said with a smile. "Why can't you leave, though?" She asked.

"Oh yes, because spending time doing homework, is just so exciting" He said Sarcastically. "Well at least I understand what's going on, humans are taught simple things, nothing like what I had to learn" He said

Randy sighed softly and closed his eyes. "I screwed up and this is my punishment."

Jemini smiled and giggled softly. "Quite fun." She then blinked slightly. "What we're you taught?"

"Forever?" She asked. It seemed like a harsh punishment if it was forever, to have to live in the same place and basically have no freedom what so ever.

"Probably stuff you really don't want to know" He said softly. He had been taught a lot of horrible things that probably wouldn't sit well with her at all.

Randy sighed and shook his head slightly. "I've got about 20 years left. But...it probably should be forever."

Jemini looked up at him, then went in front of him and wrapped her arms around his waist and laid her head on his chest. "You can tell me anything...I promise. I will always tell you the truth and I do not judge people by what they were brought up to do, but what they choose to do." Her voice was soft and loving. She meant it with all her heart.

"What did you do that was so bad?" She asked. She couldn't understand what he had done, that would make him say it should be forever. That meant, if they did remain together, they would never be able to live together, or have as normal of a life as they could.

"That's not the point, really" He said with a soft smile. He knew she wouldn't judge him for it, after all he had told her he was supposed to kill angels when he saw them and she didn't judge him for that, it was just the principle "I don't want you to have to know, what we are capable of" He said

Randy didn't reply for a moment. "I killed...a small girl..." He seemed to tense slightly and his whole body shook slightly.

Jemini shook her head and looked up at him. "But..wouldn't I need to know? Sense they will be coming for Layla and me...and you?"

Layla wasn't sure what to say, to that, there wasn't anything she really could say, was there? "I don't think, you should be punished for the rest of your life for it" She said finally.

"No, you don't need to know" He said as he glanced back at her. "We don't really all learn the same things anyway, and besides all you need to know, is that they won't hold back" He said. they all had different skills, so he couldn't tell her what to expect really.

Randy turned her around and looked down into her eyes. "If she was your little girl, what would you have happen to me?" He was deadly serious. He needed her to understand.

Jemini looked at him for a moment after he finished speaking, then sighed slightly and let go of him. "Ok...where are you staying?"

"I would have wanted you dead" She said honestly. She couldn't lie, if it had been her daughter that died, she probably would have wanted him dead "But you didn't mean to do it did you?" She asked

Seth glanced at her and smiled "Not much farther" He said as he took her hand and started to lead her towards where he was staying "How's staying at Layla's house?" He asked

[[I'd be a little peeved.]]

Randy nodded once, as if it prooved his whole point. He then sighed and looked away. "That's not really the point....I did it."

Jemini smiled slightly and shrugged a little. "She takes much too long to get ready...and she is difficult to protect because she doesn't want to 'burden' me or something...but...other than that, its alright so far."

Layla turned around and looked up at him "That is the point, did you mean to do it?" She asked. There was a difference, if he had meant to do it, that would change a lot of things.

"She takes to much time getting ready? How long do you count as to much time?" He asked with a raised eye brow "Well I'm pretty sure you could come stay with me, and leave her alone" He said. Although he doubted she would go for that, he had to try.

[[Ahh..I see. Yeah, I'd be peeved.]]

Randy sighed and shook his head. "I was in...well...humans sometimes call it 'blood rage'. I hadn't had any for a week and the girl was bleeding..."

Jemini giggled slightly. "Ok...maybe I just am ready in 5 minutes." Then she blinked and looked up at him, sort or surprised, confused, happy and sad all that same time. "I'm happy that you would like me to....but I do have to protect her. I can't do that if I'm so far away..." She sounded a little regretful of that though.

"You didn't mean to do it, so don't beat yourself up over it for the rest of your life, it was an accident" She said. She probably couldn't say anything to make him feel better, but she needed to try, she wanted to help him, if that was all she could do, she wanted to.

"Well, you look like you put a lot more time into your outfits then she does" He said with a laugh. "You know, eventually your going to have to pick between your job as an angel and being with me, you can't have both" He said as he lead her inside the building he was staying in and up some stairs.

Randy just sighed, not talking for a moment. "Maybe not the rest of my life...but for awhile." He would always feel the guilt of what he'd done.

Jemini blushed slightly and tucked a small piece of hair behind her ear. "Thanks.." Though, the part where she had to choose had her mood shot down. She didn't want to choose...she would always be protecting Layla...that had become more than just her job now...it was like...protecting your bestfriend from a bully...but on a larger scale. She didn't respond to that, but just followed him.

"You shouldn't feel guilty over it, well you should, but you shouldn't let it, make you think you deserved to be punished, no one deserves to be punished for an accident" She said with a soft smile "Besides, do you really want to live here by yourself for the rest of your life?" She asked

"You know I'm right, I'm not saying to not be her friend, and protect her if the time comes, but your not going to be able to keep your job as an angle and be with me" He said. After that, he quietly lead her up to his room and opened the door for her "Ladies first" He said with a soft smile. He knew the topic he had brought up wasn't the best but it was the truth.

Randy sighed and hugged her close to him. "How did I stay even a little sane without you?"

Jemini still said nothing toward the subject. It was just too....she didn't even know a word for that feeling. She didn't think she could choose. She went into his room and glanced around then suddenly faced him, she looked as though she had something on her mind.

"What do you mean by that?" She asked with a small laugh. That wasn't an answer to the question she had asked, but it wasn't really a bad one either. "That didn't answer my question though, do you honestly want to live here forever with no one?" She asked again

Seth stared at her "Is there something you want to say?" He asked. It seemed like she wanted to say something, and he was interested as to what it was, that she wanted to say but he wasn't sure it was something he wanted to hear.

Randy did grin slightly. "Alright...no I wouldn't want to live here alone forever." He kissed her neck softly.

Jemini soon looked a little nervous. "I'm sorry....but..I can't make a...big decision like that...so soon...." She looked at him, sadness tinged in her eyes. "Do you understand?"

"Although, if you were punished because of that, isn't it common for vampires to kill?" She asked. She always thought, vampires killed often.

"I wasn't asking you to make the decision now" He said with a sigh "I was just telling you the truth is all" He said with a soft smile

Randy shrugged slightly. "They were going to...but my sire saved my pathetic butt...I was only spared because of my age."

Jemini seemed extremely relieved, then embarrased. She nodded slightly and quickly turned around and went to the couch.

"I didn't mean kill other vampires, I meant kill other humans" She said. maybe she should have worded the question better.

"So what are we going to do?" He asked as he walked over and sat down next to her "Anything else you want to talk about, or need to talk about?" He asked
