Randy chuckled softly. "I guess you could say we are. But, we have strict rules against killing innocents...children. Much less drink from them."
Jemini glanced at him, then snuggled up to him and shook her head. "Nope." |
"Ohh" She said. So that meant at least all vampires weren't completely heartless and they did have certain morals "I do believe we should change the subject now" She said
"Okay then" He said as he wrapped his arm around her "What exactly do you want to do then?" He asked. Although sitting there with her and not doing anything would have worked for him. |
Randy nodded slightly when she said to change the subject. "Well...what would you like to talk about?"
Jemini smiled a little up at him. "Watch tv?" |
"Huum, no idea what do you want to talk about?" She asked with a laugh. She really didn't have a specific topic in mind.
"Sure" he said as he picked up the tv remote and held it out to her "Go ahead and put anything you want on" He said |
Randy laughed softly. "Hmm...how about I do this?" He kissed her softly and wrapped his arms around her waist loosely.
Jemini looked at the remote for a moment and gently took it. Then just sort of stared at it. She didn't know how to use it. |
"But that doesn't count as talking" She said with a laugh as she pulled away from the kiss "That just counts as occupying the mouth without words" She said
"You know, I thought I didn't know a lot about the human world" He said with a laugh "Look press this button and then use these to change the channels" He said as he pointed to the corresponding buttons. |
Randy pouted slightly. "So...you don't like me occupying your mouth without words?"
Jemini blushed slightly and nodded, pushing the buttons like he'd told her to and smiled. Then looked at what was playing, finally stopping on the news for some reason. |
"I didn't say that, but you asked what I wanted to TALK about" She said with a laugh
"Why do you want to watch the news?" He asked. Human news was always about death, or who was cheating on who it was pretty boring. |
Randy blinked, then laughed softly. "I guess I did."
Something had caught her eye and she was looking at it. It was showing a video from a robbery of some important store or something. She was looking at one of the bystanders. It was another angel...someone she knew. She sighed softly after she'd seen the date and heard where the store was located. They were watching her. She shook her head slightly. "Why do people do things like this?" She tried to cover up what she was really thinking about. |
"See I have a point don't I?" She asked with a laugh "Not that I minded what you were doing, just wasn't talking" She said
"What else is on your mind?" He asked as he looked at her, he could tell there was something else running through her mind "Because humans are stupid" he said. There was really no better answer for it, but that. |
Randy just chuckled and pulled her closer. "Then may I continue?"
Jemini blinked slightly at his question, then sighed again, looking at her lap. "They're watching me." |
"Nope" She said with a slight smirk "You said talking, no taking that back now" She said with a laugh. Besides talking sounded nice, just like what he was doing before, but in a way she wanted to talk and find out more about him.
"Huum, how do you know that?" He asked. There were Angels around from time to time, they came to earth often actually, to protect others or do whatever there job was. |
Randy pouted slightly and looked down at her. "Fine...ask me a question."
Jemini leaned against him and closed her eyes. "He's a watcher angel. That is their job." |
"Eh, I don't know what to ask you" She said with a small laugh. She really had no idea what to ask him, she wanted to know so much one question was hard to come up with.
"Huum, how do you know he's watching you?" He asked. That just meant she was going to have to be more carefully, and he would probably see her a lot less, after all she still wouldn't pick him over her job, which meant he was probably going to be forgotten now. |
Randy laughed. "Not one question?"
Jemini wrapped her arms around him and buried her face into his chest. "He's...I know him.." |
"Well there are a lot of things I want to know, it's just when you ask me to ask a question it's not a very easy task" She said with a laugh "Why don't you ask something besides I know more about you than you know about me" She said
"So then who is he?" He asked. It didn't sound like she was to happy he was around, then again he wasn't other, that meant she would have to make her choice and he got the feeling it wouldn't be him. |
Randy seemed very amused by that. Then he kissed her nose and smiled. "Sure. What is your favorite color?"
Jemini didn't answer for a moment. "My brother." She wasn't too close to her brother and he'd turned his back on her before. So she knew he wouldn't do her any favors. She'd probably come straight for Seth when he found out about him...probably thinking he'd done something to make her be with him. |
"Blue" She said with a small laugh "Next question?" She asked
"Oh great" he said. He could imagine the fact that he was her brother being a huge problem for him, even more then a regular angel. |
Randy smiled. "In case you wanted to know, mine's green." Then he thought for a moment. "Ok...what is your most embarrasing moment?"
Jemini didn't move or talk for a couple moments. "I'm sorry...I didn't know he would be assigned to me..." |
Layla stared at him "Why do you have to ask that question?" She asked with a sigh, trying to remember "Let's put it this way, I don't remember" She said. She had, a lot of embarrassing moments.
Seth looked at her and smiled "It's not your fault, dear, besides don't be sorry, you didn't plan it" He said |
Randy grinned, then pouted slightly when she said she didn't remember. "Aww..."
Jemini didn't smile back, this had ruined everything. Why was it that her life was suddenly very good, then it was being slowly ripped away from her. |
"Next question?" She asked with a smile, there wasn't much she wouldn't tell him, she was just hoping he didn't bring up the one incident she didn't want to talk about.
"I'm sorry hun" He said and hugged her tightly, he didn't know what he could say to her to make her feel better, if there was anything he could say at all. |
Randy smiled and kissed her softly. "How much to you like me kissing you?" He knew it wasn't the fairest question, but he wanted to know.
Jemini hugged him back, sort of tearing up. She knew what she would have to do and it wasn't going to be easy...not in the slightest. But...she refused to leave him. |
Layla looked at him and narrowed her eyes, she was half tempted to give him a wise ass response but decided not to "I love it" She said honestly "Next question, that doesn't involve you" She said with a laugh.
"It's okay" He said and rubbed her back some, trying to calm her down some, he didn't want to see her cry, hell he didn't even want to see her upset "You have me, no matter what" He said |
Randy smiled happily. "Good." Then thought again. "Hmm....one without me in it...that's gonna be kinda hard..." He joked. Then he looked full at her. "Alright. How do you feel about being assigned a protector?"
Jemini shook her head a little. "It's not okay...he'll try to take me from you..." |
