Layla looked at her and smiled "Well, it's a good thing we didn't give you any sugar or you might be even more hyper active than you are now" She said with a laugh as they neared the school gates "See, everything's starting to get set up" She said with a smile
Seth could feel some people looking at him as they walked past, a feeling he really didn't like much, he wasn't one for attention, in fact he hated it "Nope" he said and looked around "There she is" He said and pointed to the girl, and then noticed who was next to her, and had a bad feeling. |
Jemini giggled happily and gasped in amasement when she saw the carnival. She bounced excitedly. "Come on, come on. I wanna get closer!" She pulled on Layla's arm a little. She then sensed something bad, her eyes darting around, but she couldn't get a fix on it.
Randy blinked and looked at the girl. "Which one? Oh never mind..." He could smell her. He tilted his head slightly as he sort of stared at her, she was quite beautiful. |
Layla laughed and looked at her "You've really never had anything like this before?" She asked with a raised eye brow "Well I'll take you around so you can have fun, once everything is set up and were free to do what we wish" She said. She wanted her to enjoy what was going on today, let her have a good time even if she was working, she still wanted her to have fun. When she got to the main gates she couldn't help but look at the two guys standing there as she passed them, something was out of place, but she wasn't going to let it bother her.
Seth sighed as he stared at the other girl "So they have sent someone to protect her, figures" He said, that just made his job harder, he was going to have to separate, them and if he could do that. "I told you she was beautiful, shouldn't have doubted me" he said. Although he thought she failed to compare next to the women next to her, who stood out even more than her, to him at least. |
Jemini shook her head quickly, her hair flying back and forth. "No. I've never seen anything like this, ever!" She giggled happily and went with her, watching the two boys from the corner of her eye. She immediately knew what one of them was. She hadn't liked the way the other was staring at her. But she smiled happily, making it seem like she was oblivious to them. "You're awesome~" She said praisingly to Layla.
Randy nodded slightly. "They giddy girl is her protection? Wow..." He seemed sort of shocked by that fact. "I wonder if she's just a guinea pig, and there are more out there waiting to ambush anyone that comes close." He shrugged. That's what he would've done. He ignored his comment about the wolf girl though. |
Layla looked at her and smiled "Well I can promise you, you'll have fun today" She said. She felt happy that someone was over joyed as much as Jemini was happiness was a feeling she had thought she lost, but this girl just brought it out in her "Is something bad going to happen today?" She asked as she glanced over at him "I"m not that awesome" She said with a laugh Seth looked at him "Yeah" He said. She was overly giddy, he couldn't argue with that, she seemed just a little to happy for her own good, oh how he hated that, when people were always happy "Who knows, there might be others around, which is why separating them is the best option" he said |
Jemini giggled happily, even if the two boys unnerved her, she was still going to have fun. She nodded slightly. "More like, a little unnerving or unpleasent. But as long as you stick with me, you'll be fine." She said confidently. "Ah. Whatever you say. I still think you are." Then she looked around happily when they were inside. "Ok, where do we go to start helping? Anywhere?"
Randy chuckled. "I think she just doesn't get out often. She looks like the type that a father would keep at home for fear of her being carried off by some 'bad boy'." Then he looked at Seth. "Eh. Splitting them may work. But it doesn't look as if the hyper one is going to let go of the wolf." He grinned. |

Layla looked at her and smiled "Well, I can't promise we'll be together all day, we are students and we are required to help where they tell us to, but I'll be fine so don't worry" She said with a soft smile "Well, we should find a teacher and ask where they want us to help" She said. They hadn't been given assigned places really, although that probably would've made more sense. Seth looked over at him "Yeah sure, that could work, although I think she's a little to giddy and happy for a bad boy" He said "We'll I can probably manage that, with some time, once they separate, it won't be hard to keep her distracted, probably" He said. He was betting she wouldn't start a full blown fight in front of people, nor would he kill or start a bad fight in front of people. |
Jemini blinked, then looked at her paniced. "What if they come for you and I am not there? Or...or....if I make a complete fool of myself?" She looked completely terrified of that thought. "I don't know how humans act or...or do anything!" She really didn't know what to say if anyone asked her what her problem was, or if she could take the stares shewould get. "Layla. You can't leave me alone." Her eyes begged.
Randy chuckled softly and nodded. "The giddy girl and depressed demon. I think you two will make a lovely couple." He teased. Then laughed to himself. |
Layla looked over at her "Look, they aren't going to do anything to me in such a public place, don't worry about it, I'll be fine" She said with a soft smile "Besides, you shouldn't have to worry about me like that, just enjoy yourself, like I plan on it" She said with a warm smile "You will learn, it's not hard, besides as long as you don't fly and or use magic your pretty good" She said "I can, and I'll be fine, have a little faith aren't angels supposed to believe or something?" She asked
Seth glared at him a little "Because I'm sure a giddy and depressed child, wouldn't have enough issues as it is, lets add in mixed races, that'd be one messed up child, so I think I'll pass" He said and looked over at him "On the other hand, I did see you admiring the wolf, I'm sure you two could make a good couple" He said |
Jemini calmed down a little, enough to smile a little and breathe. "Ok...you're right...you should be fine until I can be with you again." She looked around a little. "Just...don't leave the carnival, no matter what." Then she smiled at her. "Ok, I guess learning isn't a bad thing." She blushed slightly at the faith comment.
Randy laughed. "I'm not sure I'd consider her a child, nor you." He thought a second. "And, I wasn't really thinking of you having children. Poor kid, being stuck with a dad like you." He teased a little meanly. "Ah. Me and the wolf? Hmm....I don't think she'll taste very good." |
Layla looked at her and smiled "I won't push you away, nor will I leave unless I have to, but no matter how hard you try, you can't be with me every second of every day" She said with a warm smile "I promise I won't leave school grounds, at all" She said "Well, knowledge is power, so you'll learn, and they won't look at you like your an alien" She said
Seth looked at him "Haha, I wasn't talking about myself" He said and rolled his eyes "Yeah I know, poor kid, actually it's more like poor any demon child really" He said with a laugh. It didn't bother him, because it was probably the truth, he wouldn't make a good father at all and he knew that, hell he wouldn't make a good anything "You never know in till you get a taste, one little bite could change that thought all together" He said |
Jemini didn't seem comfortable about not being around her all the time, but she nodded slightly. "Ok." Then she blinked at her. "What's an alien?"
Randy had to laugh. "Sure you weren't." He teased and grinned. "Ah. You know I was just joking right?" Though he then looked thoughtful. "Hmm...I might just try it one day." |
Layla looked over at her and couldn't help but laughed "An Alien, is someone from another planet, usually from Mars, or so they believe, there's no proof there actually real" She said with a laugh "Anyway, lets find a teacher so we know what to do" She said
"I wasn't and you know very well I wasn't" He said, it was almost like a friendship relationship they had going on, which was odd "However on the other hand, I was not joking" He said and looked over at him "Be my guest I don't share those kind of interests" he said |
Jemini blinked, then laughed. "Well, to them I might be." Then nodded. "Alright." Then wondered what a human teacher would look like.
Randy chuckled and waved off his denial. "Ok ok." He didn't say anything about him thinking he'd be a bad father. It really wasn't his place. It'd gotten easier to talk to him though, which was sort of amusing to him. He nodded slightly. "I might just taste you mark, if you don't mind that is." He grinned and looked around the carnival setting up. "Hey, it looks like students are helping set up. You think you should be too?" |
Layla laughed some "Naah, you wouldn't be considered an Alien, trust me, Alien's are supposed to be green freakish looking things, as far as anyone here is considered you look completely human" She said with a warm smile "Over there" She said and pointed to a teacher "Well go ask him" She said. She didn't mind this teacher for the most part he was nice. "He's not that bad of a teacher" She said as she took Jemini by the hand and took her over by the teacher and asked what they were to do.
Seth looked over at him and raised an eye brow at him and ignored his comment, he didn't feel the need to answer it "If I have to help set up, so do you" He said with a smirk "Besides if we go over there, maybe you'll get to work with a pretty face, well that might be torture for you around all these humans especially if you're hungry" He said and noticed the girls go over by a teacher "Lets go ask him what we can do" he said and started to walk over towards the teacher. [[They could end up being split up, as in Seth/Jemini and Layla/Randy if you want~ Just an idea to get them apart]] |

Jemini sighed slightly, relieved. "That's a relief. Though, I could be green if I wished." She grinned a little deviously. Then blinked and smiled. "Alright. Let's." She went over with her. Randy groaned softly. "Fine...I guess it wouldn't be fair if only one of us were tortured." He joked. Then nodded and followed him to the teacher, hands in his pockets and looking a little relaxed. |
Layla stared at her "Please don't, that would be really creepy, and you would stand out a lot and I doubt that's what you want to happen" She said with a laugh as they neared the teacher. She decided not to pay any attention to the two other men, she couldn't let that ruin things.
Seth looked over at him "Well, I didn't know you cared about what was fair and what isn't, you certainly are an interesting Vampire, never meet anyone like you" He said with a small laugh "Very interesting indeed" He said [[I can be if you want, not like he'll be an important character or anything]] |
Jemini giggled softly at Layla's reaction to her tease. Then smiled at the teacher. He smiled kindly at them. "Hello, Layla. Who's your friend here?" He was a curious guy, but he didn't push too much. He saw the two boys come up, but held up a finger as if saying to wait a moment.
Randy chuckled. "I'm not normal, I admit it." Then looked at the teacher, raising an eyebrow when he was told to wait. "This is gonna be harder than I thought." He mumbled. |
Layla smiled at her and then looked at the teacher "Jemini, she's going to be going here now, just started today, isn't she lucky" She said with a small laugh "Anyway, what do you want us to do?" She asked wondering if they would be put to work together or apart.
Seth looked over at him "Ahh, well that isn't such a bad thing you know" He said with a smile as he stopped walking and waited for the teacher to be finished with the girls, maybe if they were lucky he would break them up and make them work with one of them, but chances are that wouldn't happen "Yeah, nothing is ever easy" he said |
Jemini smiled happily. "Hello." The teacher chuckled softly. "My, aren't you happy?" He looked back at the boys and waved them forward. "And you two are?" Jemini looked at them, then kept herself from growling. Though she didn't look happy anymore.
Randy shrugged. "Gotta live with it." Then stepped forward when the teacher asked them to. "Hello, sir. I'm Randy. I'm just a guest of my friend here, though I may be thinking of transfering to your school." He was polite, but he looked a little tense. |
Layla looked over at Jemini, when the two guys walked over and squeezed her hand soft in a sort of 'It will be already, don't worry' sort of way. She wanted her to enjoy her day, after all today was meant to be fun.
Seth looked at the teacher, and put on his best smile "Seth, just transferred, in and my friend here is offering to help set up as well" He said "So where do you want us?" He asked with an innocent smile |
Jemini gently squeezed her hand back, as a way of saying 'I'll try not to freak out. I don't want you getting in trouble though.' Then teacher nodded. "Alright. I have the perfect places for you guys to start. Jemini and Seth. You two will go help with the ticket booth. Layla and Randy, you guys help set up the water shooter games." The teacher nodded and went off to other students. Jemini's eyes narrowed slightly, then sighed. "Let's go find this ticket booth." She smiled at Layla. "See you later." Then looked at Seth, waiting for him to go.
Randy blinked, sort of surprised that he would be paired with the wolf, now he knew her name was Layla. He smiled politely at her. "Shall we?" |
Layla was surprised by the pairings and looked over at Jemini I'll see you later" She said as she let go of her hand and walked closer to who she now knew was Randy, but made sure to keep a little bit of distance between him "Yeah" She said as she started to walk towards the booths, even if they had to work together that didn't mean she had to be friends with him, besides by the way Jemini was acting, this situation probably wasn't a very good one.
Seth looked over at Jemini, why did he have to get placed with the overly happy giddy one? Although beautiful, that kind wasn't his type. Though it seemed like him being around had killed her mood, which might make things easier on him. "We should get going" He said with an innocent smile as he walked a little closer to her "Lead the way" he said |
Jemini watched Randy and Layla walk off, then sighed a little. "Alright. Fine." She walked past him without looking back, though she had no clue what the ticket booth was or where it was. She just looked for a sign that said tickets.
Randy smiled at Layla, but didn't say much. He just watched her for a moment and figured that she wouldn't want to talk to him, so he kept quiet. |
Layla glanced over at him, he wanted to know what he wanted with her, but he didn't exactly want to talk to him either, but she decided knowing was more important "What do you and you're friend want with me?" She asked. She would have to remain cautious, she couldn't let anything bad happened, not today anyway. Though she doubted they were stupid enough to pull something off in front of all these people, at least she hoped they weren't.
Seth looked at her and couldn't help but laugh when she went the wrong way "Er, it's not that way, it's this way" he said and pointed in the opposite direction, it was a little funny how she seemed so clueless "Maybe I should lead the way, so we don't get lost" He said. He didn't really mean any harm by it though he hoped he wouldn't offend her by saying that. |
