Light cared a lot for Robin, Evan could tell.

Robin glanced around the room nervously.

Light furrowed his eyebrows. "Are you okay?"

"Yes," Robin murmured.

Light nodded.

Evan looked at L, wondering just what was going on between those two.

L glanced at Evan briefly, then looked away.

Robin blinked, turning his head upwards to stare at the ceiling.

Light got up, then ruffled his hair.

Evan rose an eyebrow. What as wrong with his mentor?

Robin blinked, glancing at Evan and then at L. For some reason, he could sense the slightest bit of tension.

L inspected the wall, avoiding eveyone else's gaze.

Light went over to L. "Is everything alright?" he asked.

"Y-yes," L stammered without so much as glancing at Light.

"You're lying." he stated simply, quietly.

Evan strained to hear what they were saying but failed epically.

"So? Why do you even care?" L mumbled.

Light rubbed his temples. "We're stuck together. Its my buisness..." he pointed out.

Light twitched. "You're lying to me L."

Leave him be, Light. Ryuuk snapped and Rin just simply... stood there.

L didn't reply. His silence basically confirmed what Light said, however.

Light nodded. "Precisely. Tell me." he stated.

Light sighed. "You're being a child. Whatever." he grumbled.

"Am not," L growled under his breath.

Light twisted around. "Yes you are! You're being a child, you're grumbling, and we've got murders on our hands and I'm HANDCUFFED to you for the next some-odd months!" he stated with an escalated voice.

"I am NOT being a child," L snapped, turning around and glaring at Light.

((They fight like an old married couple. XD))

Evan sank in his seat, getting away from the explosion.

"Am not!"

Robin blinked, watching the two bicker.

"Yes the hell you are! You snap at me, and you grumble, and you're a child! And you're a genius?!"

Evan got up and gently yanked on the chain, signaling Robin to get up.
