So, I always wanted to make one of these. No character profiles, just hop right on in XD

Uhmm...basic info: Falling in love with your best friend is never a smart thing to do. Never. But, of course, sometimes it's just inevitable. So, to what lengths will these friends go just to get one another to notice their feelings?

So, basically I want a love triangle/square/pentagon/hexagon/heptagon, octagon, whatever, I just lost track of shape sides...anyway...

I got this idea while listening to StillNotDavid's english cover of Because I'm Stupid, the OST for uhmm...Boys Over Flowers on youtube. It's a sad, but pretty song.

Silver eyes blinked open sleepily. An annoying beeping came from the alarm clock set on his bedside table and Nao slowly sat up, running a hand through his hair while narrowing his eyes at his alarm clock. A moment later the poor electronic device was on the floor, on the other side of the room, having been thrown at the wall. Nao's slender fingers picked up his black-framed glasses and slid them onto his face. He blinked again, just staring blankly at the wall across from him before finally getting out of the bed.

After showering and such, he slid on a pair of white cargo pants and a black vest-top. He yawned as he ran his fingers through his silken black strands of hair before leaving his room. His bare feet padded against the floors of his apartment and he glanced at the clock hanging on the kitchen wall. No time for breakfast. He'd have to eat on his way to work. He pulled his messenger bag from the couch and slung it over one shoulder while simultaneously slipping on a pair of black chuck's. After snagging his keys off their hook he left the apartment, letting the door click shut behind him before locking it and hurrying for the elevator.

(Hm... This looks like fun. I'm assuming the name should be Japanese.)
Ayame's ultramarine-blue eyes fluttered open as they adjusted to the light streaming in through the window. She shivered and noticed that there was no blanket on her bed. "Taiko!" she mumbled angrily, glaring down at the dog on the floor. She picked the blanket up, wrapped herself in it, and closed her eyes only to feel Taiko tugging on it again. She didn't want to get up, but she knew she had no choice. She yawned and dragged herself out of bed.

She walked to the bathroom, still half asleep. After taking a shower, she felt more awake. She pulled on some black shorts, a green T-shirt, and since she was feeling lazy, braided her dark red-brown hair into pigtails. "Come on, Taiko! W're going for a walk," she called, grabbing the leash off a table on her way out the door. She dashed down the stairs and out of the apartment complex.

Sophia crumpled her eyes tighter as she heard glass smashing and screaming coming from the kitchen across the hall, Freaking hell! Can't they keep it down? She kicked the warm, purple duvet off of herself and looked around her mesy room, a hand messed in her black hair. Flinging her feet over her bed she jumped onto the gound and her legs gave out underneath her, Shit! "Sophia are you okay?" Sophia looked up fro the floor into her friend Jess's chocolate eyes and she nodded, "Yeah, but I now want a hot chocolate." Her best friend and roomate laughed as she helped Sophia to her feet, her legs still a little weak. "Well you can always go down to that coffee shop down the street, they have great hot chocolates. And this time you are getting chocolate right? not like last time when you brough home a large Coffee?" She laughed at Jess's accusing glare and made her way through the mess towards her wardrobe.

Pulling out a pair of ripped black jeans and a dark brown leather hoodie she kicked her black knee high boots from under her bed. Throwing it all onto her unmade bed she began to tug her pink boxer shorts down, "Okay wait until i'm out of the room until you get naked!" Sophia laughed and watched her best friend leave the room as she buttoned up her jeans and zipped up her hoodie, I'll change my singlet later on. She smiled as she walked out of her room and down the hall into the bathroom where her other room mate Jason was sitting on the ground nursing a slowly swelling black eye, "Dude what did you do to her?" Sophia tilted her head to the side and crossed her arms across her chest, "I didnt do anything! She accused me of cheating again." Sophia rubbed the bridge between her nose and sighed, "Well tell all your slutty friends to stop texting you so much and you won't have to go to the emergancy room every time you two talk." She reached over his head and grabbed her black hairbrush but after a quick look in the mirror decided her messy hair looked to Scene and cool to wreck with a simple sweep of a comb.

"I'll be back in a few minutes Jess." Sophia walked over towards the door and grapsed the handle with her hand, "He told you didn't he?" She looked to her friend and nodded, "You gotta ease up on him. Just becasue you guys are now dating doesn't mean you can Mother him and track his texts." Jess nodded and waved Sophia out, "Just remember a coffee for me to when you come back." With a smile she opened the door and shoved her balck wallet into her jacket pocket as she closed the door. The sun felt warm on her face as she began the to short walk to the coffee shop across the street from her favourite clothing store.

((lol then I guess Nao now works in the Coffee shop XD. And it didn't have to be japanese Ryuusei I just like japanese names is all.

Truth is I totally didn't expect anyone to even post :sweat:))

"Have a nice day." Nao smiled kindly at the mother holding a child in her arms. She thanked him and took her order. Nao watched them leave and the kid seemed to look at him when he laughed and clapped his hands happily. Nao smiled again, softer this time. "Nao! What are you doing?! Go clean up the spill at table three. Now!" The black haired male sighed and ran a hand through his hair tiredly, only five minutes. He'd only been here five minutes and his boss was already yelling at him. He picked up a cleaning rag and made his way over to said table, the frantic mother shooting him a grateful look. He smiled back and quickly cleaned up the mess as the mother went to calm her screaming twins. There seemed to be so a lot of mothers in the shop today. Mother's and couples. Nao swallowed dryly and tried his best to not look at the couple sitting next to the table he was cleaning. It made him feel self-conscious as a pang went through his chest.

Dana bunched her red-blond hair up into a ponytail after taking the quickest shower ever. She was going to be late for work. Again. She pulled on a pair of dark wash ripped skinny jeans and a black collared shirt. She sprayed on some P.S. I Love You perfume from Bath & Body Works and crammed her wallet, cell phone, sunglasses, and iPod into her small sling bag and headed for the door. Her roommate and best friend, Michelle was sitting in the livingroom drinking coffee and shaking her head. "Dana. When are you going to learn how to BE ON TIME?!" She rolled her eyes playfully. Dana shook her off, "No time for this, Michelle. I gotta go." Dana slid into her brown leather jacket and brown classic Keds. "Bye." Michelle said. Dana waved and locked the door behind her.

Sophia opened the door and moved to the side as a Mother wlaked past with her child. Looking around the shop and caught sight of a boy wiping down the only spare table, Damn it. I was hoping to sit down for a bit. I don't really wantto walk in the middle of WW3 again. She walked up to the counter and smiled at the handsome boy behind it. She could see the flashy Manager badge on his brown shirt and mentally rolled her eyes when he winked as he asked what he could for her, a little hint of an undertone in his voice. "Well first you can get me a cappacino." She remembered Jessica's words before she left, "Actually, make that two. Larges please." She said with a fake flirty smile. The boy's eyes spoarkled and she laughed a little, Didn't think I was that good an actress. Maybe I don't need all those lessons I'm paying for?
Taking her drinks from the man she smiled again and waved goodbye with her coffee cup before turning and walking straight into a little girl standing behind her, "Oh no! I'm so sorry dear. Naughty Alice! go and sit back at the tabel. No cookie for you." the girl's Mother pointed towards a table where a pram and another little boy were sitting at with what looked like their Father. "No, it's okay really. I'll just buy a new one." Sophia smiled and her heart dropped as the little girl's bottom lip began to tremble at the mention of no cookie, "Here sweetheart, I'll buy you a cookie. Do you want a choclate one?" The girl's eyes lit up and Sophia smiled as she paid for a new drink and a big chocolate cookie before getting yet another apology from the girl's mother and a smile at her happy daughter, chewing playfully on the big biscut.

"Hey! Nao!" Nao straightened up immediately, having finished with the table and looked over to the manager. He was waving him over. Nao ambled over and his boss pointed at the mess on the floor. Nao groaned, "Can't you have Allison or Milly do this? They're just sitting in the break room." "Is that back-talk I'm hearing?" Nao decided to shut his mouth and quickly went to rinse out his rag before kneeling down next to the mess to clean it up, smiling as he watched a girl buy a cookie for a little girl that was clearly not related to her. At least some people in this world were decent. He had loved his job at first, but then his old boss had been replaced and now...well he was the errand boy, the clean-up boy, the delivery boy...basically he had to do almost everything. Yet he couldn't bring himself to quit. He liked this coffee shop too much to just leave because he had too many disagreement's with the boss.

((It's fine, I don't really mind Serender-chan, I was thinking cafe anyway XD))

Sophia watched a new employee mop up her own mess, "Here let me help you. I feel bad everytime people clean up after me." She smiled as she put her drinks on the counter and bent down to help out. She held her hand out for the rag and raised an eyebrow, the offer hanging in the air. She held up a hand to cover her mouth from the Manager and giggled, "Sounds like a hardass. I hate bosses like that. my old boss was such a kind man, I cried so hard when he died. He was really old though." She shut her mouth and giggled again, "Look at me! I'm babbling, sorry."

{haha I always seem to go coffee shop when I do RPs or stories LOL}

"oh, thanks for offering, but it's no problem. It's my job after all." Nao smiled sweetly at the girl as he continued to mop up the spilled caffeinated drink. He chuckled lightly at her comment, "i'm sorry to hear about your old boss." he whispered, finally done with the mess. He stood back up and offered the girl a hand, "I'm sorry for not recognizing you but are you a regular here?"

((Lol let's get the two to talk...and then make the manager explode in Nao's face as the owner of the coffee house walks in XP))

Sophia smiled and took the boys hand, "Yeah I come a few times a week. I shouldn't be drinking this much coffee but I can;t help it, it's so good!' She laughed and looked around the room, "Um did you want to go and sit for a little bit? When do you have a break?"

((Argh. I haven't been following! :O))

Dana ran through the doors of the coffee shop and put her things in the break room. She clipped on her nametag and put on the rest of the uniform. She rushed back out to the front counter. "Hello. What would you like today?" Dana asked the customer standing in front of her. "Half vanilla latte, half hazelnut coffee." She said. "Coming right up." She repeated the order to the new worker. Dana heard something crash and then turned around. The coffee had splattered all over the place. "Crap." She muttered. She would've called Nao to clean it up, but she saw that he was having a conversation and she had enough consideration to not interrupt him. So she went to help clean it up herself. She grumbled. There were people in the break room just doing nothing.

((Sorry if it kind of doesn't fit...))

"My break? Oh uhmm..." Nao glanced at the clock, "i guess i can take it now...?" He turned to tan empty table and motioned for Sophia to go sit, having just noticed Dana, "I'll just be a moment." He hurried behind the counter, murmuring for Dana to let him help and he quickly picked up another rag to help mop up the spilled drink. The poor new guy, he was probably going to be fired in 3...2...1..."What happened here?!" nao sighed. The manager came out and looked around before spotting Dana next to Nao, "Dana! I didn't hear you come in, what are you doing? Oh don't bother getting your hands dirty, Nao can handle it, can't you boy?" "Uh...yea." he mumbled. The manager turned to the boy that had made the mess and glared, pointing at his office. Nao shook his head, the new guys never lasted long, the girls? They never seemed to leave. He tossed his used rags into the sink before pulling the apron he wore over his clothes off and hanging it up. Then he whipped up a quick green tea frappucino before making his way back to where Sophia was, "i'm sorry for the wait." he murmured, sliding into the seat across from her, "My name's Nao. It's nice to meet you by the way." he smiled brightly.

((Erh...I didn't know what else to do. Haha. So...I just randomly made something up. Eh...))

((Can't sleep...bored. Watching SNL rerun...&& I have nothing to do tomorrow anyway. Haha XP))

"Yea, I do actually." Nao replied. He pushed his bangs away from his eyes and righted his glasses, before wrapping his hands around his drink once again. "What about you?" He didn't often talk to others since he normally didn't have the time, so his socialising skills were a bit...yea. Living alone didn't help much either.

Dana smiled, wiping down the counter with a wet rag. She was happy that Nao was making some friends...maybe more than friends. *Wink-wink, Shove-shove*.

((Ahh! Short post...oh well, I'm kinda used to it now. I didn't know what else to write ): ))

"Don't worry about it." Nao assured the girl with another smile. She reacted the same way he did, except his phone was normally on vibrate so, no matter what, he always ended up hurting himself somehow. It was rather...painful...depending on where he was and what he was doing at the time.

A dark character ran in and the took out his camera, He snapped a photo and quickly made his exit, He would be no where to be found.

Ayame walked in an almost zombie-like trance, struggling to keep up with her energetic dog. "I am so not a morning person," she mumbled to herself. She stopped, pulling on the leash so that Taiko reluctantly stopped too. She looked up at the coffee shop. 'I never knew this was here,' she thought. 'I could use some caffeine. Maybe they're hiring, too?' She looked down at Taiko. They probably didn't allow animals inside. She tied the leash to a nearby tree and walked inside.

Nao blinked as the flash went off an turned, startled as the figure ran out. "That was strange..." he murmured, then he glanced at the clock. He quickly excused himself, if he didn't get back to work he'd be fired. Just as he was finishing tying his apron back on another customer walked in, "Hello and Welcome to-" he cut off and smiled wider, it was Ayame! "Never thought I'd see you in here." he said, walking over to her.
