"I'm not cruel," he states, simply. He shrugs. "I'm also technically part human so, I wouldn't leave another human to be killed by Angi." He heads into another tribal area and whistles. "Macy!" A young boy's voice squeals. A boy that looks like this: runs over and jumps on Cormac, happily. "Hiii! Why're you here?" He tilts his head at Serena. "A...human?"

Serena blinks and stares at the hyperactive person. She waved shyly "hi... I'm Serena" she said quietly.

Cormac sighs. "Yes, Kota...She is human. And her name is Serena. Where's Angeni?" He frowns at Kota's hugging him. Kota skips to the nearest tent. "Ang. Someone wants you." A small girl that looks like this: walks out and her eyes narrow when she sees Cormac. "What the hell you want?" she spits, before setting eyes on Serena. "You. Brought. A human.Here?!" She slips into a bit of a crouch, ready to attack Serena.

Serena swallowed and backed into the wall of the carriage He's not cruel, huh? She won't hurt me, huh? Yeah, right. Note to self: don't trust Cormac again, she thought as she started at the girl with wide eyes.

Cormac lets out a warning growl. "You lay a hand on her, and I'll kill you. Without hesitation." His eyes are locked on Angeni, and he moves infront of Serena, in a protective crouch. Angeni smirks, still crouching. "Will you now, Cubby? You can't hurt anyone. You're a wimp. How you ever got blessed with the from of a wolf is beyond me." And with that she leaps towards him.

Serena wtched the two fight, wide-eyed. She was backed against the wall of the carriage, shuddering in fear. The only thing betwen my life an death is Cormac... if she kills him, I'm dead, she realized. She suddenly felt powerless why is he being so protective of me? I realize that by common courtesey, he has t retaliate if I'm hurt... but why is he so protecive of someone who has done nothing but fight him since I've met him, she wondered.

A light green light surrounds Cormac and when it fades he looks like this. He snarls at Angeni. "Go ahead," he snaps. It seems he's still able to talk, but his voice is deeper and more animalistic. Angeni glowers at him. "Why the hell do you even care?!" she snaps, voicing Serena's thoughts. "She's human!" She stops, suddenly smirking. "Oh, she reminds you of Sera. ...Damn bitch deserved everything she got!" Cormac flies at her, pinning her to the ground. "This has nothing to do with Sera! This has to do with you, and you killing people that don't deserve it!"

Serena stard at Cormac with wide-eyed wonder. He's so... beautiful. Who's Sera, and who was she to him? Serena wondered as she watched the fght, still backed up against the wall of the carriage.

"Such as Sera. Your poor, sissy, bitch of a sister. Would you like to know how much she screamed when she died? Or what her last words were?" She smirks, not caring that he could rip her to shreds. Kota skips up to the wagon and sits net to Serena. "Dun worry. Macy won't let her hurt you. He's too nice. He's a big teddy bear." He watches Cormac, frowning. "Dun be mean, Angeni." Cormac bites down on her arm and lifts his head quickly. "Don't make me kill you." He slowly gets up and closes his eyes, grabbing his clothes from the ground. The light engulfs him again, and when it fades, he's only got his underwear and pants off. He puts his shirt off and goes back to the wagon. "Off, Kota. I'm leaving."

Serena sat silently against the all of the wagon "why... why are you so concerned about me? All I've ever done is fight you. Technically human or not... you're showing a lot of concern for someon ou haven't even known for a full day.

"You remind me of my sister," he states. He shrugs. "So the fighting doesn't bother me. But other than that, you're new. I've only picked up one other new person, and I treated her the same way... And she didn't act like my sister. So, yeah..." He trails off, sheepish. "Sorry you had to see that, by the way."

(Hm...I think I have a lot of angry female characters. And Angeni scares me. D: )

"I don't know... I kinda liked the wolf form... I've always liked wolves. In what way do I act like your sister? You don't have to answer if you don't want to... I'm just... curious" Serena asked him, slowly relaxing away from the wall. He says I act like his sister... all I've done is fight him. He seems to care about his sister a great deal... I'm curious as to why he thinks I act like her, she mused.

"She never listened to me, no matter how adamant I was. She also seemed a bit...confused by Kota and his hpyer. But she had a big heart, and anyone who got past her defenses was protected until death." He chuckles. "And I love wolves too, and not just because they're my form. They're so pretty." He blushes a bit at his wording. "Ah, next I'm going to start talking about bunnies and rainbows," he kids.

Serena smirked and glanced at him "I don't know... I'm more of a butterflies and unicorns kind of girl" she jokes back. "She sounds really nice... no wonder you love her so much. I can tottally understand where she was coming from in terms of Kota. He's strange... but.. I actually had a friend back home who acted just like him, now that I think about it. It never phased me then... I think I was just so surprised because I wasn't expecting it" she told him.

"Ah, butterflies. I apparently tired to eat one when I was five... And yeah, it helps that she was my twin, so we balanced eachother out. I was less of a...hermit, then," he chuckles. "Kota...is odd. I have no idea how Angie puts up with him. Eh, he's our peacekeeper anyway. So he's useful. So, I've grown used to his hyper."

"That's what it was like with me and Jake. We met in Elementary school, been best friends ever since. I would've run there, but I knew that would be the first place that my...... that they would look for me. I almost regret not telling him... but he's a horrible liar. Anyone would be able to see on is face that he knew where I was. So I didn't tell him. Instead, I ran into the frest and practically landed on your lap" Serena informed, a sad look on her face.

"My sister was an oddly good liar. ...I attempted to run away once, after an....incident...with my parents, and she told them I was in a well, in China. And gave them details as to the exact location of the well. It was so spot on, there was a well where she said, but no me, of course." He shakes his head. "How she knew that, I never understood."

Serena chuckled lightly "have you ever been to Earth, before?" she asked, feeling oddly more relaxed with him. Jake has that effect on everyone... even if I'm just talking about him. I hope he's ok... I miss him, she thought.

"Nope, I've never left here. Nor am I good at dimension hopping." He chuckles, heading back to his home. He feels a bit nostalgic, talking about his sister. He frowns when Sepia suddenly stops moving. "Ack. And we were doing so well."

Serena smiled then she rememberd Jake's love for horses "that horse really has attitude... Jake would love her. He'd pobably say something like 'she reminds me of you, Seri' or 'this horse is awesome, Seri, how can you and your weird dog-boyfriend not see that?' my response to the latter, of course, would be that you aren't my boyfriend" she said with a chuckle, imitating Jake's deep voice at the appropriate parts.

Cormac chuckles. "Sera would adore this...thing. And she'd point and laugh when I get bit. Ah, she was such a nice person," he mutters dryly. He shakes his head. "Come on, Sepia, I do have things to do. Such as feed the rest of them. And groom them."

Serena smiled "Sepia... if you don't move and get me home I'm gong to have to pull out the Jake. I know that sound very impressive, but all horses listen to Jake. He taught me his trick. And I know for a fact you won't enjoy it. So why don't you just listen to Cormac and take us home" she told the horse. She turned towards Cormac "do you miss her?" she asked.

Cormac stares at the horse. "Gah. Fine." He digs in his pocket and pulls out a carrot. He gives it to Sepia and she starts moving. He sighs. "Yes, I do miss her. I'll never forgive Ang for what she did..."

Serena watched Cormac quietly, musing over what to say next. After a few minutes of silence, she finally spoke. "I'll tell yo what Jake told me... he said: 'when things are hard, you just have to take everything as it comes. Don't worry about the future, and esspecialy don't dwell on the past. Dwelling on the past only hinders you from moving forward... from experiencing experiences you are meant to have.' You can't get Sera back, and I doubt I'll ever be able to see Jake again. So we take comfort in our meorieswith them, and move on" she told him.

"Oh, I know I'll never get her back, but that doesn't mean I have to forgive Angeni for killing her. For no reason other than to hurt me." He shrugs. He seems very level headed about that. "And I'll probably always get angry when she goads me about it, but I don't let it run my life. I just avoid her..." He chuckles.
