"Oh D....God I'm so sorry... I must have confused you so much. I'm probably going to have to leave... find another place to work at. I can't stay here when they know. I'll come visit you though. And I'll spend every waking hour trying to get your diagnosis reversed so they can do the surgery to fix your ears. I can't stand to live without you anymore and just want us to be happy and together." She sighed. "I'll have to write up my resignation." She smiled sadly. She was going to miss this place, but at least she'd be able to come back and see her fellow employees.

D looked at her sadly then kissed her forehead. "No you don't have to go just yet. If you wait until after I get surgery then we can leave together." he said and stroked her hair. "And no you didn't confuse me. You just broke my heart. Hearing doctors got mad at you then when I saw you crying and it was Hatori's fault I thought you loved him but I am glad you don't. You might have broken my heart but it is and always will be yours" he said and took her hand and put it up to his chest where his heart would be.

Hatori watched as Amy began telling him the whole truth and undressed. He was used to seeing female bodies because he was a doctor and that was his job, but in seeing her his eyes widened. The tattoos reminded him of pains and the scars cut his heart deep. "Who?" he whispered coming closer to her even though he already knew the answer. He had worked with those sick astards before who took pleasure in hurting others like this. Hana was a living breathing person who had proved if pushed to far those who are beat upon and abused will retaliate. He then reached forward and put his hands on hers stopping her and then traced a scar with his finger. "Unfortunately... I have more scars on my chest... then you do on your body..." he whispered and then slowly unbuttoned his shirt and revealed the horrible scars. THere was no inch of his chest that didn't have either a white scar or a horrible looking scar. "This was from my old fioncee..." he whispered softly and took the picture and handed it to her. "You see... She was my first patient as an intern... And I was younge and foolish... And in love..." he whispered softly and then guide one of her hands to his chest to let her feel the scars. "When she got better and was released I proposed becasue she was my spring, that thawed my horrible winter ice.. And we moved in together.... When I got my job here at first, she began getting bad again... Destroying things randomly, snapping at the slightest things, and more then once did I get in the way of her destruction...." he whispered and then closed his eyes and removed his glasses. He reached up and wiped his left eye, wiping away the covering makeup to reveal the scar. "One day, she hit me in the face with a vase... And she broke down seeing me there bleeding and holding my eye... She blamed everything bad happening to me, how ever small, as her falt... She began dying of heart break... And a week away from out marriage.... I desided, instead of being selfish, that I would save her..." he whispered and closed his eyes. "So I earased her memories of us...." he whispered and looked away. "She's getting married ina week... And she's happy... But I kept these scars... And I didn't let the doctors cure my almost blind eye... Because I wanted to remember her and all the good and bad we shared." he whispered softly and a single tear raced down his cheek from his bad eye and fell to the floor.

she touched his scars and looked at his eyes her eyes began to well with hot tear that almost seemed to stream down her face "some of them men that worked for my father use to lock me in medical closets and beat me with the drip stands" she said half choking up that is the real reason i came to work here. she wrapped her arms around him pressing her naked body against his clothed body not even caring that she was still naked, she looked up in to his eyes "you are still handsome with the scars" she said softly kissing his chest

"I'm very happy for that..." Nadya said the words as she tightened her fingers around his shirt and blushed deeply as she looked at him. It was almost too much to bare the way he looked at her she thought her own heart was going to explode. And it was racing towards it's destruction, it seemed. "Oh D... I should have told you much sooner..."

Hatori looked at Amy sadly and then wrapped his arms around her tightly holding her against him protectively like he always used to do with Rin. Tell her he was okay and everything was going to be okay. "Its okay..." he whispered softly and then gently took her dress and draped it around her shoulders again. "youre still beautiful... Amazingly beautiful..." he whispered softly and then looked at the time. He gently let her go and took off his pager and coat and pulled on his black trenchcoat. "I think I'll get a tattoo with you... And you pick it out." he said with a warm smile. Sometimes.. Two broken individuals... can make a whole soul and happieness...

"It's ok. I was trying to tell you but it always seemed like you didn't care. So I called you nurse hoping you would noticed me" D said and kissed her softly. "But we both know it now" he said smiling at her. His heart was about to explode with happiness.

She smiled and buttoned up her dress "ill tell mike to open up a spot so we can both get our done" she said with a smile and texted mike/her tattoo artist "im not sure what you should get done love" she said as she laced her arm in to his " i still havnt met any of my patients" she said looking up to him

Nadya twirled some of the loose strands of his hair around her finger and smiled at him... she knew something was wrong but she figured if she just ignored it it would just go away. Her heart was beating a lot faster than it should, she was starting to get over oxygenated... if it kept up for much longer she was certain she was going to pass out. She pushed the code button on her pager to get all available staff to her area. They would know she was in D's room, but they would think it was D instead of her. "If I die.... please don't cry for me..." She was completely pale at this point.... "I'm so happy I checked the crash cart..." With that she pushed the button to send the page to notify everyone on shift that someone was crashing... and collapsed.

Hatori smiled and looked at Amy. Taking her arm he nodded and looked at her. "Hmmm We;ll see." he said and then stopped hearing his pager. Biting his lip he sighed and let go of Amy. Seeing the red flashing he swore and grabbed her hand. "Someone's crashing!" he shouted getting the attention of a few more nurses. He ran quickly knowing if someone did crash they only had minutes to save them. Stopping at D's room Hatori saw Nadya on the ground and moved quickly. He grabbed the syringe in his pocket and then looked her over. He felt her pulse and swore. Giiving her the syringe quickly he injected her with the reactent to rstart her heart and then kept a hand on her wrist for a pulse as he rubbed her arm. "Come on Nadya." eh whispered fearfully as the other nurses began grabbing the crash cart.

D looked and watched fearfully. He felt so helples. "Is there any thing I can do?" he asked getting down next to Hatori. He stroked Hayda's cheek and a single tear ran down his cheek and on to her. He couldn't believe it. He had just goten her and now she was leaving him. How could this happen? "Come on Hayda. Please I need you" he said.

She watched Hatori "What can i get for you doctor" she said softly trying to help but stay out of his way

"I need water and blankets.. And if she doesn't come around soon I need you to grab the emergency kit in the chart... But the injection should do the trick..." he said and shook his head. He knew about Nadya's slight heart condition. It was his job to know as her supperior but he was wondering why she had crashed like this now.

Nadya screamed. At first it was wordless but then began a long string of Russian that was spouted so fast and so loud that that she herself couldn't have told what it meant had she been in any cognitive state. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head and tears were streaming down her face. She clutched at the closest thing... which happened to be Hatori... and then collapsed again... this time she was awake... but she didn't seem to be making much sense. She was lethargic and only seemed to be able to speak in Russian. "Я не знаю то, что только случилось ..., мое сердце ... семейная история ... взгляд на мою диаграмму ... посчитало меня некоторыми медицина. Аритмия." She laid back down. Shaking... the floor was cold and she didn't understand why people didn't understand that.

She fetched a small cart and put a pitcher of and and cold water on the cart along with blankets , the emergancy kit and the chart and rushed back to D`s room she also brought a few towels and a pillow just in case

Hatori looked at Nadya as she had another attack and moved quickly as he grasped her words as she screamed. He grabbed the cart and flung it open grabbing her medicine. Helping her to sit up he injected her with the specific syringe he then forced teh pills into the water Amy had gotten and then held the water to Nadya's lips forcing her to drink. "Youll be alright Nadya..." he whispered now suddenly releaved he knew Russian. He then grabbed the blankets and wrapped them around her holding her head gently. "Now just breathe you're goin got be fine." he whispered softly and looked at her.

She smiled as he watched Hatori take care of Nadya now knowing that if she ever needed him he would take care of her

D was getting pissed with Hatori now but he kept that away. "Nadya?" he said softly and stroked her hair lovingly. "What did she say? I don't speak Russin" he said looking at Katori reluctantly but with worry in them. "What happened?" he asked wondering if she was always like this or if it was from her heart racing so much.

"Доктор спасибо Hatori.., но я не понимаю то, что Вы говорите..." Nadya was looking at him with a puzzled look... she herself hadn't quite yet realized that she was speaking in only Russian and couldn't understand what language that Hatori was attempting to speak to her in. She then looked up at D and smiled at him. Innocent... not at all like you would at a lover. "Вы действительно не должны быть вне вашей комнаты, волнующейся обо мне, когда я - тот, это должно заботиться о Вас. Я рассержусь и буду там, чтобы помочь Вам, как только я могу стоять на моих ногах снова."

Helleina nodded. "here" she said and dipped it in honey mustered and offered it to him. She couldn't believe how much fun she was having with him. Even for knowing and being with him for such a short time she was having more fun then she has had in years.

Hatori looked at D and then back at Nadya. "She just told me about her medicine in the cart relax." he said reasuringly and then adjusted his glasses on his nose. "Its alright Nadya," he said in very fluent Russian. "But you must know we are talking in russian and no one else can understand... Is your mind still a bit fuzzy?" he asked cooly in Russian as he looked at her and gently propped a few pillows under her just incase for some reason his firm grip slipped on her any.

She just needs some rest right now..." he said reasuringly to everyone and then looked at D. "Come on. I'm going to let you stay with her at her house... You both need a break." he said and then looked at Amy. "And then we have a date with the tattoo shop." he said with a nod and began walking out of the room telling the other nurses to clean up.
