Casey giggled and flinched away from his touch lightly. "Stop it, it tickles" she whined before she heard her dad moving around downstairs. "You'll have to go soon, I'll see you at lunch, ok?" she said softly as she embraced him, resting her ear over his heart.

Theo chuckled when she did that, then smiled and nodded. "I'll see you at lunch." He held her to him, a hand on the small of her back and one on her head, gently holding her.

"I love you" she whisperd before she breathed in. "Well... I'm about to fall asleep... I'll see you at lunch" she said again.

((Are we going to go through the day, or should we more or less go right to lunch?))

Theo chuckled softly. "Alright. You go to bed. I love you too, get some sleep." He then made sure she got back to the bed before starting downstairs.

((Hmm....I'm not sure. Which would you prefer?))

((how about we skip to just before lunch because they're just going to be working inthe forgery and Casey's dad is just going to be sizing him up. if we go to just before lunch, then we can get a good amount of dad/boyfriend torture in there before Casey comes. How does that sound?))

Casey's father grunted a greeting and pushed a bowl of oatmeal Theo's way "eat up boy, there's a long day ahead of us and much you need to learn" he said before continueing his own breakfast.

Theo nodded to him. "Yes, sir." He then grinned and sat down, starting to eat.

Casey's father grabbed a towel and dabbed the sweat away from him eyes. "You know, for a boy who's never done this before, you're doing pretty good. Just watch how you hold that hammer, you're holding it like a carpenter. You can get the job done with that hold, but this is what I mean by smiths that grew up in the trade do better. I grew up learning the best way to hold a smith's hammer. If you can learn the proper grip, it'd probably make it at least a little easier" he said and fixed Theo's grip slightly "there, remember that grip. That's the proper way to hold a smith's hammer" he advised. He clapped his hand on Theo's back "I'll go work on the fire, you straighten this sword out" he instructed and stalked off.

Theo had listened to every instruction, working hard to get it right. He was a slight perfectionist when it came to his work. So, he was glad when Casey's father complimented him. Then he watched the way he was supposed to hold the hammer and nodded as her father walked off. He thought for a moment, memorizing the way to hold the hammer and set to work straightening the sword.

Casey approached the forgery and peeked inside. She suddenly realized why her mother refused to let anyone take lunch to her father. Theo look absolutely handsome and... sexy. She smiled as she leaned against the doorway to watch him, not wanting to alert them to her presence because she wanted to soak in detail of the sight. She watched with delight how his muscles rippled every time he lifted the big hammer. That wasn't even mentioning how the sweat from being in the hot room all day made him look. He was perfection.

Theo hadn't noticed her come in, nor that it was even close to lunch time. He just concentrated on making the sword as perfect as he could. He didn't noticed how he looked, nor did he really care. He was shirtless, something he tended to do alot when he was alone. Shirts just weren't very comfortable.

After a few moments of watching, Casey decided she'd rather be in his arms. "Hey there, sexy, I don't believe I've seen you here before. Mind if i come in and bring you some lunch?" she asked, walking towards him.

Theo looked up when he heard her, looking confused, but his eyes lit up when he saw her. "Hey! Oh, I'd love some lunch." He smiled and set the hammer down, walking to meet her halfway and just kissing her. He didn't want to get her all sweaty.

Casey giggled and wrapped her free hand around his neck, kissing him back. "Now I know why my mom refuses to let me bring my dad lunch. I don't believe I'd want any other girl coming in and seeing this wonderful sight in front of me" she mumbled against his lips, nipping his bottom lip at the end of her statement.

Theo smiled, then chuckled softly. "What if one of your dad's clients was a woman? She'd have to come back here...she'd see everything."

Casey pouted "then you'll have to grab your shirt or something" she said through the pout. "I don't want anyone else to see this. Never ever, ever, ever. They'll fall in love with you instantly if they do and I don't want to fight the hordes of females, even though I know I'll win. I won't let anyone steal my man" she said, a slight tinge of jealousy and possesiveness in her voice.

Theo smiled happily and kissed her again, gently placing his hands on her sides to keep her close. "That's what I like to hear."

Casey smiled and leaned up to kiss him, but before she could, her father arrived "lunch already?" he called out, making Casey pull away. She smiled and nodded "yep, how's he doing?" she asked, grabbing Theo's hand and pulling him to her father. "He's doing well for a boy that's never smithed before. He has lots of areas of improvement, but that just comes with experience. He knows the right way to do things now" he complimented. Casey smiled "proud to have him in the family?" she asked "he's not in the family yet. But once he is... yeah, I'll be proud" he admitted with a slight smile showing through his scragly beard. Casey's response was to hug Theo tightly around his middle.

Theo smiled at Casey, than at her father. He was happy to be accepted somewhere. Anywhere really, but more so with the family of the woman he loved. When Casey hugged him, all he did was chuckled softly and hug her back.

Casey's father chuckled "don't worry boy, I still don't like you. You're taking my baby girl away from me and I'm not inclined to forgive you until you two get married. So be prepared for every bit of torture that I think of" he said gruffly. Casey giggled and kissed Theo "don't believe a word he says. He likes you, he's just pulling the daddy card. Anyway, I bet you two are hungry, let's eat" she suggested. Her father nodded and led them to the table where he normally has lunch. There were only two chairs so Casey sat in Theo's lap.

Theo nodded, but was still smiling. "I didn't expect you to forgive me at all." He half joked, but was sort of serious at the same time. He'd seen how his father acted when his sister was taken from them....though the situation was a bit different. Theo smiled and nodded to Casey, then followed her father, letting her sit on his lap when they sat to eat. "What'd you bring us?"

"Leftovers... including the pie" Casey answered, setting the different packs on the table. "Lunches are easy, my mom just packs a certain amount for everyone and sends them in a bag. So we don't have to worry about a million different things to clean up" she commented as her dad grabbed his pack to begin eating. Casey grabbed the others and handed one to Theo "here you go, love" she responded before opening hers.

Theo blinked, then suddenly felt like drooling. "Mm...leftover pie." He then laughed softly, kissing her cheek. "Thank you." Then he opened it and set about eating.

Casey giggled "I don't know if I should be jealous about the pie... it seems to be getting as much love as I am. I'm not sure how to respond to that" she joked with a wink before placing her fork in her mouth.

Theo blinked slightly, with food halfway in his mouth. Then he looked at her confused.

Casey giggled at Theo's expression and shook her head "don't worry about it love. Enjoy your lunch" she said, settling into to lean against his chest. She smiled to herself "dad, do me a favor. If a female happens to be in need of your services, keep theo out of sight" she said. Her father chuckled "will do" he responded.
