Casey tilted her head to the side "really? How come?" she asked. She knew why she hadn't had a boyfriend before, she was never in town long enough for guys to become interested, plus when they did, they were scared off by her dad. "I thought you were more social than me, you didn't strike me as the hermit type"

"Oh" was Casey's embarrassed response when realization hit her "alright then. Well... um... ok, next question: How long have you been with Kirse?" she asked, practically desperate to change the subject into something less awkward.

"No wonder you two understand each other so well, you basically raised him" Casey commented. "Alright... you don't have any questions for me, do you?" she asked.

Casey thought about his question and shrugged "I like it. As I mentioned before, I was always in the forest, even if that wasn't the smartest move for me to make. That said, whenever I went into town, for whatever reason, I always felt like I'd moved. SO I guess in that sense, I really haven't. I've lived my family, but spent my time alone" she answered.

"Alright... my next question is... why do you travel so much? second half of that being: what's it like travelling all the time?" Casey asked.

Casey tilted her head to the side "what was so bad about your home? Sorry, I just don't understand not having a wonderful home" she asked.

Casey smiled sadly and nuzzled against him "at least you have a sister... and you have me now. No more traveling" she said with a smile, leaning up and kissing him at the end.

Casey placed her hand up to rest on his cheek, running her thumb along his stuble. She pulled back slightly "so... when do we get to the waterfall?" she asked.

Casey nodded "can't wait. In the meantime, however, we are in need of more conversation. Hmm... how about... your sister. I've never had any siblings. What's it like, did you like her? Did she like you? What was it like growing up?" she asked. She almost found it amusing how curious about these things she was.

Theo's face seemed to sadden. "My sister....was taken from us at the age of 15. A lord came by and demanded her to make up for their debt." He sighed. "Well...after that, I'd never seen my sister again. I do know that she has two kids now....but I've never seen them, nor do I know anything about them. But...I know she is not happy in her position...if she's even alive anymore."

Casey looked down "have you ever tried to go see her? Perhaps it would brighten her day to see you again after so many years" she commented. "Would you... want to see her again?"

Casey purposefully wiggled until she was able to set her feet on the ground. She faced Theo, took his face in her hands, and looked at him "how were you ever supposed to stop him? You were ten years old! For all we know, he might've hurt your sister, or you, if you did anything. Why don't you track her down? At the very least you'll find out if she's alive or not. You need to talk to her. You need to know that she's alright, she needs to know that you're alright. Maybe you can find away to get her out of the marriage and somplace where she'll be happy... You need to do this" she urged, whispering her last phrase.

Casey looked down and sighed. She nodded "alright... I'll stay behind" she whispered, leaning into his chest. She'd miss him terribly when he'd leave. She knew he would... he had to. She swallowed back the tears that threatened to spill over and she looked back up at him "it's ok" she told him softly with a small smile.
