Theo nodded. "I thought I'd replace the one I'd broken." His voice was calm, with a slight happiness to it. When she'd said that, he paused for a second, then shook his head a little, like he'd imagined her saying that. Kirse walked up to her and placed his head in her lap, looking up at her.

Casey looked down and scratched behind Kirse's ears. She was still shocked from what she had said, so she breathed deeply a few times to calm her nerves before she spoke "You know, this guy's grown on me. Talk about a 180, He goes from tying to kill me--according to my head--to my friend. You... you are too, you know. you're kinda... growing on me" she told him.

Kirse seemed pleased by what she said and nuzzled her tummy with his nose and panted slightly. Theo glanced back at her and smiled as he worked on the door. "Really now?"

Casey smiled and ruffled Kirse's fur "yeah... somewhere in the midst of you threatening my life... you kind of grew on me. I don't know how, I don't know why... but... I find myself wanting to stay here, instead of going home. At first... all I wanted to do was go home... but now... I can't imaine myelf leaving. Kirse, here, might even be the cure for my fear of dogs. At the beginning, everytime he came near me... I as scared out of my mind. He looked like a normal dog, why should he hurt me? Even now, I'm still a little nervous about being aound him... but... I'm getting better" she confessed.

Kirse seemed pleased with her doing that. Theo looked back at them and looked a little surprised by how Kirse was acting. "He doesn't let anyone but me do that....strange..." He looked at her and smiled. "Well, he must really like you." Then he rubbed the back of his head, looking ashamed again. "Just remember...he's not a dog. Kirse is a wolf."

Casey shrugged "Wolf or dog, they're related. A dog is just a tame, small wolf. Our neighbors have a dog that is half wolf," she explained. "Either way, I couldn't begin to tell you why he likes me so much, I haven't even begun to be nice to him until just recently" she commented.

Theo nodded slightly. "Just my point. He's not tame." Then he laughed softly. "I haven't the slightest either. I suppose its just an instinct thing."

Casey shrugged "either way, it doesn't really matter I suppose. What matters is how he acts, not why he acts that way" she responded. "So, what happens now?" she asked.

Theo shrugged slightly to her. "You go inside and eat."

Casey gave him a sideways glace "I almost don't want to, just to prove something. I don't know what I'm proving, but I was intent on starving earlier. However, seeing as how I'm making peace with both of you, I probably should go in and eat. But, only if you join me" she told him.

Theo blinked and looked at her fully, then laughed. "I guess that's not too much to ask." He set down his tools and wiped off his hands, then motioned for her to go first.

Casey shook her head, "nope, I'm not going first. We're going at the same time, to ensure the other gets to the food. I'm still not sure whether or not you'll actually follow me" she responded. She grabbed his hand and began pulling him with her as she walked to the kitchen "I'm not taking any chances" she told him.

Theo seemed surprised, but just grinned and let her pull him inside. He kind of watched her as she did though. She was awefully cute. Then he chuckled and nodded once they were inside. "Now, how much would you like?"

Casey blinked at the question "erm... I don't know... what is it? Whatever, don't answer that, just give me some or whatever. I don't feel hungry, but at the same time, I haven't eaten all day so I need to eat... I just don't know how much I want" she told him.

Theo blinked at her, then chuckled softly. "You are quite confusing sometimes." He grabbed a bowl and opened the pot and dished out two large spoon fulls for her. "Its soup." He grinned and handed it to her. Then got one for himself, but about four large spoonfulls.

Casey grinned as she took the bowl from him. "I told you not to tell me what it was" she teased with a wink. She sipped it and her tastebuds exploded with delight this is quite possibly the best tasting soup I've ever tasted, she thought "it's good" she told him. She didn't want him to know just how much she liked it, so she kept her face to one of inidfference.

Theo chuckled softly and sat down, waiting for her, then watched her. His face turned into a small pout when all he got was a good from her. "Aww....that's it? Just good?"

Casey raised her eyebrow at him "I could throw it all up if you'd rather. It's good" she told him with a wink. She smiled and continued to eat. She wanted to see how long she could keep the facade going. At this point, all of the teasing was just a game to her.

Theo blinked, then shook his head slightly. "Throwing it up would be a waste. You wouldn't want to spoil Kirse's and my work, would you?" He ate a little more, sort of watching her.

Casey chewed "I simply asked if you would like me to. If I wanted to spill my guts on your shoes, I would've by now" she responded and took a big glup of soup this... is amazing... pure bliss, she thought.

Theo just grinned and continued eating. Maybe not everyone loves my cooking...

Casey smiled at Theo and finished off her soup. "I'm playing around with you, it was really good. Probably the best I've tasted" she said, not liking his melancholy mood that she picked up on. Then, randomly, she hugged him what the heck... where did that come from? what am I doing... and why am I not pulling away? she thought.

Theo blinked, then smiled. "Well, its good that you like it. I don't mind that you were me-" He looked slightly startled, but soon smiled softly and hugged her back gently. I wonder what's gotten into her...

Casey stared blankly at Theo, blinking a few times. She pulled away "sorry... I uh... I don't know what happened... I just... I don't know what came over me" she said, backing up a bit and sitting back down, looking away, her face completely red.
