Jake looked at the steak wide eyed and he started to eat all that Kirin brought "oh... thank you, this is really nice"

"No problem." Kirin says smiling.

Dr. Tik just chuckles as she eats her sandwich.

Jake blushed as he heard Dr. Tik chuckling "i suppose i must have eatten like a animal" he chuckled to the both of them

"It's understandable if you've been living on the streets since the accident." Dr. Tik says.

Kirin looks a bit confused but decides it's none of his business what they are talking a bout

Jake shook his head "i wouldn't have been on the streets if i wasn't the one looking at them machine... that is why im half dragon, because they made me the bloody machine cheaker every day, i knew one day it would blow up"

"And did you tell them about it?" Dr. Tik asks.

Kirin leaves the two to talk.

Jake shook his head "they said 'do it or be fired' so i had no choice whether to do it or not, when the explosion happend they all ran away shouting 'he going to kill us for revenge' after that day everyone was afraid of me"

"That's horrible. It's a sad state of affairs when people are feared for looking different." She says tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

Jake chuckled "yeah i know its horrible, but hay, its what you get for looking like i do"

"I don't think there is a thing wrong with the way you look." She says blushing a bit.

Jake blushed as well "realy? your the first person to ever say that... you look fine to me too" he said and blushed really red

She blushes even more. Her blue skin making her blush look purple. She opens her mouth to say something then closes it again not sure what she was going to say.

Jake looked at her purple cheeks and smiled "what type of speices are you" he asked as his black scales started to turn more red

"As I've mentioned before I'm a human who became a mutant." (remember she was in the building next door when the explosion happened)

"I don't rightly know." She says as she starts cleaning up. "Would you like something to drink?"

Jake smiled "yes please, i would love a drink... but not cold water, i found out the hard way that dragons can't drink cold water"

"How about I make some hot chocolate?" She asks starting to get the stuff out to make it.

Jake nodded "sure, that would be great" he chuckled to her with a smiled

Dr. Tik blushes as she starts making homemade hot chocolate. She whistles as she works.

Jake smiled at her, he had only just met her, but he was already falling in love "well, im glad i met you and Kiri"

"I'm glad I met you too. And Kirin is a great man. He does so much and asks for nothing in return." She says handing him a mug of hot chocolate. "So what happens if you drink ice water?"

Jake shook his head and chuckled a bit "well... first it burns my neak, then it starts to burn my stomach which then leaves me in a huge amount of pain" he said sipping the chocolate "tastes good"

"Oh my that isn't good. Is it the same with all cold drinks? And thank you. It's my mother's recipe."

Jake nodded "yep, anything that is cold, i will feel the pain, the pain only goes when the stuff does" he said and started to blush a bit
