Akio noticed how Steven was pointing in the exact same direction as to where he was going to as he gave a little smile and looked back at her with a nod. "Alright. Looks like I'm basically walking you all the way home then." He said, as he looked away from her once more and kept walking in the same direction. Hearing her little story about who she lived with and why made his smile soon turn into a frown though; who knew this girl had to go through so much on her own? "Ow..that must be a pain." he said, looking down at the floor and clentching his fists tightly. In a way, he somewhat envied her to be lucky enough to even have any parents whether they cared for her or not. Although, he was more alone than anything; he lived alone in his own house as he made his own food from catching fihes or killing deers and bringing it home. Even though he didnt like doing this for having to kill an innocent creature, he had to do it for him to survive.

"It is."She said."I live with 6 brothers now.It use to only be my twin sister and my twin brother and me but now everything had gotten so much more complicated when mother went missing."She said."Though...would it be okay if i saw you again...i mean your really nice and i want to pay you back..maybe i can cook you dinner or something."She said blushing a bit."I cook dinner for my whole family every night i also clean the house up too.Im mostly like a slave in that house.If i don't do something right then i get punished."She said looking at the ground with her hands behind her back."Here is my cell phone number."She said handing him a piece of paper with her number on it."I would like to hang out with you more and talk to you more and get to know you okay?"She said with a smile as she looked up at him very cheerfully."i hope to see you tomarrow...Akio."

Akio kept walking with Steven as he was beginning to smile most of the time while being with her, she seemed to interest him much more then he thought she would've, but suddenly hearing about her life inside her home his eyes widened and his smile quickly turned to a frown. Now rather then still enving her for having parents he was saddened and wished that there was something he could to to help her. When he heard how she would go ahead and cook for him, he gasped and turned his head away blushing. "Umm...y..you..you dont have to do that...y..you know..I...I didnt even do anything for you.." he said, glancing back at the paper by the corner of his eye and grabbing onto it. He quickly placed it into his pocket and contiued to look away blushing.

"Its my treat."She said with a smile."tonight i might sneak out of the house so if your awake i will come by your house or call you okay?"She whispered to him."Well i have to get going i will see you later."She said waving goodbye and heading toward her house.When she got at her house her step mother looked upset.
"Where have you been steven?"She asked looking impatient and angry.
"I met a new friend so i was talking to him."She said
"Your late for cooking dinner so get to it!"Her step mother yelled and stormed off.
Steven was scared she was going to hit her.She then began cooking dinner for her family.When it was bed time and everyone went to bed,she snuck out of the house.Please call me...She thought in her head.

Akio nodded when he heard Steven's little request as he took a little turn at a corner and walked the rest of the way home alone. While walking home, he hadnt heard the yelling from her mother outside since at the moment while walking home, he was thinking a lot about Steven for some reason. Why am I thinking about her so much?!...I...I just met her.. he thought.
Once he was finally home, he immediatly went into the kitchen and poured a pot full of sink water as he placed that onto the stove and cup open a little cup of ramen. He licked his lips in hunger as he broke apart two little fake chopsticks and waited for the water to boil. After he finished eating he didnt bother to clean up since he didnt really see the point of it; he just left the little plastic cup on the kitchen table and went into his room laying on the bed staring up at the ceilnig bored out of his mind. "Ugh...what to do what to do..." he told himself as he felt a little weird thing in his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper, it was Steven's phone number. "Eh..why not?" he asked himself reaching over for his home phone and dialed the numbers, waiting for her to pick up.

As Steven was walking she was trying to find his house.She wore a short skirt and a long sleeve shirt similar to the one she had on earlier.When she heard her phone ring she answered."Hello..Akio?"She asked."Um can you tell me where your address is."She said blushing a bit."Sorry if its a bit late but a snuck out and i actually made something for you for tomarrow if thats okay."she said.

Akio smiled softly to himself when he heard that Steven picked up, at first he just shook his head and looked up at his ceiling. "No no thats okay..well..my address is 24 Woodford Street, it should be the green old building." he said as he slowly began to frown of the thought of what she might think when she came in and saw the large mess in his house. No one really ever visited him before so he never bothered to clean up really.

"okay.I think i know now thanks.i will be there under 10 minutes."She said with a smile and hung the phone up.She put her phone in her bag with her.When she found his house she picked a little pebble up and threw it so it would hit his window.She then continued this until he would open his curtain and see steven outside.

Akio just hung back up without another word as he hung his phone onto the charger next to his bed. "Ten minutes huh?...." he asked himself as he slowly sat up on the bed and yawned a little to himself. "Lets hope she gets--" he was immediatly stopped when he heard a few pebbles hit his window. "Hmm?..." he asked, getting out of bed and walking over to the window; he pushed the curtains to the side and opened his window then looked outside. She was standing there in plain sight as he smiled and waved toward Steven. "Oh...hey there..Wait right there..I'll go open the door."

When Akio saw her she waved at him and shouted."Okay!"She said happily and stayed where she was and hummed a bit.While she was at home earlier though she had earned a few bruises to her arm neck and on her sides.As she waited for Akio she opened her phone adding Akio's number to her contacts just in case she has an emergency and needs to call him urgently.

When Akio got downstairs in his pjs he moved across all the the stuff he had on the floor and went over toward his front door and opened it for Steven. "C'mon in.." He said with a joyful smile toward her, he never had anyone come to his house before so he wasnt sure how to act as he stood aside from the door waiting for her to come in.

Steven stepped into his house keeping her joyful smile on her face.When she stepped in she had her arms behind her back and smiled."I made you this."She said handing him a meal she cooked herself that stayed in place and was wrapped good to keep it fresh so it was still warm."I hope you like white rice and i hope you also like chicken since i made chicken.I also made beef and pork so i put that in there as well along with some salad."

When Akio grabbed onto the bag of food that Steven had made for him he could already smell the deliousness coming from it as he took a small inahle of the food and smiled softly at her with a nod. "Thank you." he said bowing his head to her and moving some cans and cups of old ramen on the table down to the floor. Once the table was all cleaned off he just placed the bag onto the table and walked over to the living room. "Go ahead, sit down." he said, moving aside so that she could sit onto the couch. "Sorry the house is a mess...I dont usually have visitors.." He said laughing to try and hide his true sadness deep down.

"Its fine don't worry."She said cheerfully as she helped him get some of the food out of her bag.Though a few of her bruises on her arms were visable since when she reached her hand into her bag it rolled up her sleeves."I actually worked more on your dinner then my families.I made them my favorite kind of pasta and i made you basically the best meal ever."She said with a chuckle.

Akio blush slightly when he heard that Steven had made him the best meal ever rather when she made her family just her favorite kind of pasta. "th..thank you." he said with a little bow toward her from behind as he walked over toward the bag and looked over to see what she was doing when he realized she had bruises all over her arms. His eyes widened when he saw them as he grabbed onto her wrist and made her stop unpackaging everything. "Wh...what happened?!..." he asked, glancing down at her arms then back into her eyes.

"Um...."She paused for a minute."After i got home.....my step mother she said i should be punished....so i was.She also let one of my brothers punish me with her her."She said looking down a bit holding onto her arm a bit.

Hearing how her mother and brother hurt her, Akio slowly released his grip on Steven's arm. He was scared and at the sametime angry at this point from just hearing what she said. He was angry since if he knew this had happened; he would've been over there within a second and stopped her mother and brother before they hit her, and scared because Akio knew if her mother was that cruel then it was doubtful she left Steven out here to go to his house on purpose. He really wanted to tell her to stay here with him now; but how weird would that be? he resisted the urge to say it and just looked down at her arms the whole time.

"I wanted to see you....because i was scared."She said."I was scared in pain and i know we just met today but i trust you more than anyone in my house.I know this might be weird to ask this...but i want to stay with you tonight if its okay i mean i can just sleep on the couch or if your fine with it i can sleep in the same bed as you but if its too awkward for you..then i wont."She said keeping a smile on her face.She didn't want to make Akio worry about her.But she knew she only could trust Akio with everything."How about we have a sleepover kind of thing?ANd get to know each other."

Hearing the sudden request of Steven asking to stay here for the night, Akio's eyes widened for a bit as he nodded slightly. "Ummm...s..sure you can stay a..as long as you want." he said with a nervous little laugh, he may not have said it but he was so happy inside to hear she wanted to stay here for the night. Even if it was for the night, he was glad she decided to stay here for two reasons; One, she wouldnt get hurt at home anymore by her mother or brothers. Two, Akio hasnt had anyone stay with him before so hes been so lonely and he was happy enough that he had someone to stay with him, espeically if it was Steven at this point. But suddenly hearing where she slept, he began to blush a little since he noticed how the couch was completely dirty, while his bed was huge and was the cleanest thing in the whole house. "Y...y...you can sleep with me...i..in my bed." he said blushing even brighter when he heard himself say it.

Steven smiled."Sounds good thank you so much Akio."She said hugging him."Well feel free to eat the meal i cooked."She said with a smile and sat down on the couch that Akio cleared the spot off of.She then began to think...should she sleep in what she is wering or in her underwear....maybe he will lend me a button up shirt like what i see in the movies...She thought to herself.

Akio smiled and nodded as he sat down at the kitchen table and began to eat the food quite quickly since the ramen he had never really filled him up enough but it was enough to get him through the night. While part of his mind was hi king on how great this food was another part of it was thinking how weird that was going to be sleeping with Steven in the same bed. Just thinking about it made him blush as he tried to shake off the idea of anything happening. "why am I even thinking like that?!" he said with a whisper to himself while still shaking his head.

Steven stood up walking over to Akio."is the food good?I hope i didn't cook it too long."She said with a chuckle."thanks again for letting me stay."She said sitting down at the table putting her chin into her palms.He was actually really cute steven had noticed.Wait why did i just think of that...She thought in her head."Um....so after you eat....what do you want to do...we can go straight to bed if your really tired..."She said blushing.

Akio nodded as he finally finished the rest of his food and wiped his mouth with a napkin next to him. He smiled and looked at Steven. "Yeah! It was great!" he said with a joyful tone; seeing as how she was staring at him like this, he backed up a little in his seat and placed his hand all over his face from a slight bit of blushing and confusion. "Wh..wh..why are you staring at me like that?...i...is there something on my face?" he asked in a little embarassment.
Soon right after hearing her little question, he began to blush even more as he covered his face completely by lowering his head down onto the edge of the kitchen table. "W...we..well I..I have an extra pair of pjs in my closet..s-so if you'd like..y..you can go ahead and wear that..I-...I was planning to take a shower anyway..s..so you can change while I go take one.." He said with a slight muffled voice.

"Sorry i kind of spaced out by starring at you.Sorry if i made you feel really embarrassed."She said feeling embarrassed herself."That sounds good."She said with a smile."Even if its just a long shirt its fine."She said standing up.She didn't actually like wearing pants usually cause she kicked them off cause she got really hot at night.Steven then got her bag that had only now a sketchbook and a few books in them and slung it over her shoulder."im ready to go upstairs so you lead the way since im your guest and i don't know where your room is."

Akio nodded as he stood up from the kitchen table and walked over toward his staircase. "C'mon I'll show you." he said with a soft smile on his face, he went upstairs first and stopped at the first door on the right. "This is my room and down the hall on the left is the bathroom, my extra pjs are right in the closet in my room." he said with a little nervous chuckle.
