When the doctor had told Akio that Steven was going to have to stay the hospital for a while, he frowned deeply and lowered his head a little, holding onto Satoko closely. Though, when he heard the doctor's question he looked back up in a quick amount of shock as he tilted his head in thought. "Well...she does have some kind of special illness...its supposedly affecting her heart-rate..if that helps with anything." he said with a deep frown on his face still.

At this point, Akio didnt know what else to tell the doctor besides the truth behind both himself, and Steven. That they were both part demon, what good would that have done? Who knows what the people in this hospital would've done, someone could simply be really religious and try to kill Steven while she slept. Though, when the doctor placed his hand onto Akio's shoulder, he gasped looking at the man with tears welling up in his eyes; but he just nodded agreeing with the doctor. "M..m..may I see her sir?" He asked politly, sounding as if he were going to burst into tears.

Akio nodded walking into the room where Steven was laying as he saw how she was unconcious on the bed and the heart-rater was still beeping normally, or at least normal enough. He held onto Satoko closely and walked over to her side, leaning forward a little so that Satoko could be close to her mother as well. "Go ahead Satoko...give mommy a kiss, she'll feel better." he said trying to make sure that he wouldnt have to tell her that Steven was actually a little not okay, and not have their own baby daughter start crying.

When the doctors had walked back into the room and headed over to Akio, he looked over at them with concern and sadness in his eyes. Suddenly when he heard that Steven was going to need a new heart, he gasped for a moment almost feeling like he was going to have a heart-attack, he stopped himself from having one and began to try to breathe normally. Neither of them had really a family to tell about this, but he did know one person that he could be a donor since their blood types were both the same. "I....I have someone in mind...can I go call them now?" he asked nervously and frowned deeply.

Akio nodded a little reaching into his pocket and pulled out his cell phone opening it up and dialing in their friend's number. After a while of waiting, Josh finally picked up as he said 'hello' obviously. "Hey, Josh...its me...Akio.." he said sadly as Josh was a bit confused why Akio sounded so sad. "Whats wrong now?" he asked a little tiredly since he had just woken up because of being called at five in the morning. "Its about Steven....s...s..she needs a donor..." he said sadly feeling really bad to ask Josh this. "A donor?...oh...me...so...which organ does she need?" he asked thinking it was going to be something simple like a lung, kidney, or something like that. "A heart..." he said quietly as they both stopped for a long pause.

After a long pause, Josh finally decided to speak up. "Fine. I'll do it...just give me a few minutes to say a few goodbyes..." he said with a whisper over the phone as Akio nodded. "Dont worry...t-take as much time as you need." he said sadly and hung up the phone. "Okay...its done...he'll be here later." he said looking up at the doctor with a saddened frown.

Akio looked up at the doctor with a little bit more shock in his eyes this time since he didnt know that Steven's condition wasnt as bad as he would've thought it was. "So...w..wait there is another chance?" he asked having forgotten that Josh was still getting dressed and calling other friends telling them goodbye because he was going to go and donate his own heart. To be honest, he didnt have really any regrets since he wasnt really even married anyway, and this was for Steven so that she could live and take care of her own daughter.

Akio looked back at Steven as he frowned deeply clentching down onto the side of the bed tightly. He didnt want to lose her, she meant everything to him, he didnt know what would happen to him if he had lost Steven. "Steven....pl..please...d-dont leave me...dont leave me..and Satoko alone.." he said holding onto her hand gently. After a while though, Josh had made it to the hospital as he walked into the information desk looking at the nurse. "I'm here for Steven and Akio?" he asked curiousily as the nurse nodded and pointed over to the room down the hallway. "Thank you.." he said walking down the hallway to the room.

When Josh had finally made it to the room where Steven, Satoko and Akio were. He opened the door and walked in seeing that Steven was still laying on the bed unconcious. "Sh..shes still like that huh?" he asked frowning deeply as Akio nodded lowering his head. "Yeah..." he said quietly, than he quickly looked back at Josh. "Though, the doctors are thinking of an idea of trying to do it without using your heart...we're doing that only for a last resort." he said quietly as he looked down at the floor clentching onto his fists tightly wishing that this wasnt even needed. "Akio...dont worry...I dont care what it means...if this is what must be done to keep her alive for her daughter..than I'm willing to do it."

While they talked, Akio had suddenly heard his name get called out slowly as he turned around in shock seeing as it was Steven who was waking up. "St..steven?!" he asked quickly as he ran over to her side grabbing onto one of her hands quickly looking into her eyes which were barely even open. "St..steven?...a..are you awake?" he asked shaking her hand and gripping onto it tightly.
Josh simply stayed quiet as he looked at Steven with a deep frown looking at how terrible her condition was. At this rate, I dont think theres any other choice but to use my heart... he thought sadly.

Hearing how weakly Steven was speaking, Akio held onto her hand gently still as he looked into her eyes with tears welling up in his own eyes. "Please..S..Steven...dont leave me...dont let Satoko.." he said as Josh stood there in shock when he heard that even Steven didnt want him to use his own heart as the donor. Sh..she really is determined not to use mine... he thought as he tilted his head a bit. "Steven....I know I'm your friend and all...but I'm not joking around...I cant forgive you...if you die.." he said with a serious tone in his voice knowing that not only Akio would be sad but all their friends and her own daughter would be sad as well.

With a final sigh of annoyance, Josh crossed his arms tightly against his chest and walked over to another chair in the room. He sat down looking at the Steven with a somewhat disappointed glare. "Fine, don't want to take it?...than make sure you don't die..." he said with more of demanding tone in his voice rather than just saying it normally as he usually would.
Akio looked at Steven the whole time as he placed one hand over hers that was on his cheek with tears still coming down his face. "Please...Steven..don't leave...I'm begging you.." he said already knowing that it wasn't her choice to leave into the coma. Rather it would all be because of her own sickness.
The whole time they were all talking in the room, one of the doctors were standing outside with his clipboard as he frowned deeply staring down at his paperwork. He really doesn't want to lose her.... he thought walking away back into the testing room where the other doctors were working as well. "We have to hurry..." he said walking over to the other side of the table working onto somehow finding another cure, or at least finding another donor; rather than Akio's and Steven's friend.

While Akio kneeled there contiuing to cry, he tried to nod carefully but only ended up putting his head against her bed even more. "I...I hope your right..I..I cant stand having you stay here for the rest of life." he said clentching down onto her fists even tighter as Josh nodded simply and contiued to frown deeply. "There should be a donor soon...their all over the place..espeically heart ones..so dont worry..but you better accept it Steven." he said pointing at her with a serious expression across his face.
