When Steven had told Akio more about her own past, he frowned a bit more deeper as he held onto her hand even tighter with a nod. "Yeah...I...I guess you are.." he said still sounding depressed. Akio slowly lowered his head even more to the bed as he finally was able to stop crying. "Promise me though...Steven..please...promise me you wont leave me..or Satoko." he begged squeezing her hand even tighter as his strong emotions caused his demon side to slowly leak out a little bit of his own aura.

When Akio watched how Steven had picked up Satoko to hold her, he smiled softly looking at how their own baby daughter looked so peaceful. He couldnt help but feeling so useless, he had promised both Steven and Satoko that he wouldnt ever let anything happen to them, and what was happening now?..Steven was sick and he couldnt even do anything about it. Please...s..someone..help her...please... he thought clentching onto the bed tighter than ever before as his nails slowly began to dig into his palm, which caused him to slowly begin to bleed.

Steven put one hand onto Akio's."Calm down.Im fine Akio.You can ask the doctors anything you want to know when they come in...so please do not burden yourself with this grief.Nothing is going to happen to me.I promise.There should be a donor shortly."Steven said with a smile.She hoped she was right though.

After hearing what Steven said Akio looked at her with sadness still in his eyes, right when he opened his mouth to say something two doctors walked smiling softly with their hands behind their back. "Good news..and bad news.." one of them said as Akio looked over at them for a moment in shock when he heard that there was both good news and than there was also bad news. "Your call Steven..which you want to hear first?" Akio asked looking back at her.

One of the doctors nodded when they heard that Steven wanted to hear the good news first. He cleared his throat for a moment and looked at her with a soft smile. "We found a way for you to stay away from a coma..." he said confidently as the other doctor lowered his head to tell the bad news. "Thing is...it will require surgery of transplanting a new heart....we have the donor..but the thing is...the chances of it working out are 50-50." he said sadly.

Hearing that the chances were only 50-50. Akio looked over at Steven in shock that she was going to take that chance. "S...Steven...." he said with a concerned tone in his voice knowing if he tried to stop her, there would be no other way to cure this disease. He held onto her hand tightly afraid that the surgery would fail. "Okay..Sirs?...may you take the baby and wait in the waiting room?.." the doctor asked nicely as Josh nodded walking over to Akio. "C'mon...lets go."

Akio and Josh both went into the waiting room as they sat down around a little wooden round table. Akio the whole time was rocking Satoko in his arms slowly to help her go to sleep. "Dont worry..Satoko...m..mommy will be fine." he said quietly trying to comfort her but at the sametime himself.

After the several hours had passed by, and the doctor coming over telling them the good news. Akio's eyes widened up in shock and happiness as he smiled brightly. "Sh...sh.shes alive?!" he yelled out happily as Josh simply crossed his arms smiling softly and closing his eyes still sitting on the chair. "Go see her Akio..I'm still tired." he said falling back to sleep as Akio nodded running into the room where Steven was seeing her laying there. "Steven!!...Your alive!" he said once more with tears coming down his cheeks.

Just hearing that Steven wouldnt let something like this illness kill her, Akio smiled softly as he lowered his head seeing how Satoko wanted to hug her mom. "Okay okay Satoko." he said softly walking over to her letting her crawl onto the bed. "Becareful though Satoko." he said smiling softly and tilted his head when he heard about a scar. "Hmm?...a scar?...umm...sure why not?" he asked tilting his head to the side even more to see what the scar looked like.

Seeing the scar on Steven's chest, Akio was actually a little amazed at how much smaller it looked than he had thought it would've looked. Wow...I thought they were going to cut her entire chest open...its just a little cut. he thought, just seeing how small it was made him happy that she wouldnt have too much of a large scar to have to feel too much pain.
Though, suddenly when Satoko said her first word, his eyes grew even wider than ever before. "S...Satoko?!" he said in shock looking at her in even more shock than from seeing the small scar. He had known their baby was special and all, never knew that she'd be special enough that she'd learn how to talk so quickly.

Akio simply nodded gently as he looked at Satoko the whole time. "Yeah..she really is." he said laughing a little quietly knowing that would be good especially when she would go to school she would be able to catch up on the lessons that they learned faster than anyone else. Though, when he heard Steven's question, he nodded a little and pointed out the door. "Yeah..hes still in the waiting room; he fell asleep. makes sense since we did wake him up in the middle of the morning."

When Satoko crawled up to the edge of the bed, Akio looked down at her smiling softly hearing how she called him 'papa' already. "Wow..shes learned another word already? dang..shes getting smarter and smarter by the second." he said laughing a little and holding up Satoko into his arms bouncing her a little in his arms.

Hearing how Satoko giggled, Akio kept smiling brightly as he contiued to bounce her in his arms. Though, when he heard that they should all do something fun as a family, Akio stopped looking over at Steven tiltig his head. "Hmm?..something fun?...like what?" he asked with a whispering tone in his voice.
