Quick tempered and fast acting, he often acts before he even has time to think. When he does take the time to think, he’s logical and often comes across as cunning. Many find him hard to trust, but he would never break a promise. Often looses interest in something or someone quickly, unless the fondness he has grows on him, in which case he can be almost overly attached and protective.

Bio:
Jamie always felt a deep feeling of right and wrong, and that he should be able to punish those who didn’t abide by the law. As a prison guard that’s now possible. As an only child he’s also not used to being told he’s wrong. However, he’s also not used to being rewarded either due to neglectful parents.

Personality: Dark and seductive Davin always knows what he wants and how to get it. He thinks fast and doesn't let his emotions show unless he goes too long without sleep. He's always focused on what he sets his mind to and is hard to distracted. One thing he hates is rules and authority figures. If ones around he goes out of his way to disobey and break the rule regardless of the punishment or consequences.

Biography: The oldest child of two Davin had problems obeying his parents and their rules. He came from a wealthy family. He adored her sister until she died in a freak accident that's when Davin snapped and went on his killing spree. Starting with the other driver and ending with his parents. The total ended up being about 8 people which landed him in jail headed towards death row if he didn't rehabilitate.

Jamie walked down the corridor of mostly sleeping criminals. He knew most of them by name, others by...interesting appearance. All by crime. He was to watch over the end two cells tonight. He felt sick that if you hurt and killed enough people you got special treatment. Davin was his main hate within the prison. They had never spoken, and Jamie had never been on guard near him before, but just one look into his eyes was enough to bring out pure hate. He glanced into his cell as he went to take his place behind the desk facing the two top priority cells.

Davin smirked from where he was. He wasn't scared. They threatened him with his impending death daily and he just calmly explained that from the day he was born he began to die so they were just speeding up and imminent process. He chuckled darkly watching the prison guard. He loved it absolutely loved it that every time the man happened to look in he had this look of pure hate on his face. The fact that he could bring out such a raw emotion with out doing anything exhilarated him.

Just imagine Davin... He smirked to himself, Just imagine what he would do if you gave him a real reason to hate you... Davin's eyes flickered with thought. It wasn't that he was evil. At least he didn't think he was he didn't even really mean to kill all those people. The driver. His parents yes...but the people who got in the way...no...

Jamie sat there for a while. He was used to being watched, he was used to others thinking so loud it made the air thick. The halls were filled with the thoughts of those forced to stay silent. It started as a small itch in his mind, a tiny fragment of a thought then he looked up, into the cell next to Davin's. "Know why that's empty?" He had wondered earlier why he had been put here instead of a larger, scarier guard. It must have been because Davin wasn't a threat. Not like some of the others. He was scum, he was a dirty filthy piece of scum. Still, he had never hurt anyone unless they had tried something.

"Because no one's in it...." Davin replied with a smirk and a dark laugh. "I thought that would be obvious...." He grinned wickedly at that, "Though maybe it's not empty...maybe this cell is empty..." He said pointing to the floor of his cell. "Maybe I'm not here...." He laughed laying down on the wood bench that was his 'bed'. His eyes though remained on Jamie booring into him dissecting him.

Huh...I thought you were just a murderer...turns out your also insane. What other wonderful things will i find out on my long...long night shift? Jamie just shook his head and looked away from him, then took an A5 book out a large pocket and started reading. "Shut up! I can't read with your mad laughter!" He didn't look up from his pages. He didn't have to. The other mans eyes would be right on him, running over cloth and skin. He felt sick that he was being touched by Davin's gaze.

"Not mad...." He corrected softly as he watched him, "Just different....like elephants....I'm an African but your and Asian...were both elephants...I'm just different..." He smirked thinking on that his eyes releasing Jamie for a moment as they flickered up tracing an invisible outline. He stopped after awhile his eyes going back to Jamie. His eyes glimmered for a second as if he had some great secret that he wouldn't share.

Jamie stood up, picked up his book and walked just within safe distance of the bars. "Look, I'm trying to read." He held up the book so Davin could see. "I just want to sit an read until morning, so just stay quiet okay? I didn't ask to have to baby sit you tonight." He stayed standing there, waiting for some kind of answer. He wished those eyes would stop looking. Thousands of eyes stared at him, glared at him all day. Davin's however burnt through his mental barrier and he could feel them burn his skin. Those eyes that were not dead and hopeless like most of the other prisoners. Those eyes that were cold and empty and seemed to call you in like an ocean. Come closer, they seemed to say. Come closer and stare into my depths, and then let me take your life. They wanted something, and looked like they always would.

"Maybe I'm babysitting you...." Davin said watching him closely, "After all your the one who has the ability to do things...." Davin smirked giving a sigh. In truth he was bored. So so bored. This, tormenting the gaurd so he couldn't read was his only entertainment. And he was going to milk it.

Jamie laughed, unable to hold it in. "You babysit me? I think not. I have the power to do things, you do not. That's the difference." He walked up the the bars of the cell and leaned against them. "Don't forget it's you who's trapped behind these bars, not me." Already he felt like it was going to be a long night. If he could choose, he would have Davin killed. None of this holding them in a cell for years and years. That man was not afraid of death, and he enjoyed tormenting those around him. He would not fall prey to the man's words.

"Really? Hmm I guess…I feel pretty save in here though. You have more chance dying out there than I do in here…cars. Guns. Airplanes. Sickness. People. There's bad people out there. Worse than me…" He smirked as he ggot up moving towards the bars a dark look on his face. His eyes glinted as they locked with Jamie's. "Do you know why I killed them…my parents I mean?" His eyes watching Jamie drawing him in.

He shouldn't let anyone come up to him, not with only the bars between them. It would be so easy for Davin to break his neck...but he would rather die speeding up his death sentace, then move away in fear. "Of course I don't. Whatever sick twisted thoughts were running through your mind at the time aren't really common knowledge." He turned and threw the book on the desk then looked back at him. "Yeah, It's pretty unsafe out here, but at least I get the chance to die. I get the chance to feel a rush when I do something dangerous. the most dangerous thing you do now is eat the food." He smiled almost cockily, feeling like he had scored a point.

"Wrong.....the most dangerous thing I do is talk....." Davin said darkly, "They deserved it....the diver...my parents...those other five I didn't mean to kill....my parents...." He shook his head closing his eyes for half a second, "They were the sick ones...." He paused changing direction, "And I don't need rushes...I have a brain...I can be anywhere I want....you just have to think...." Davin smirked tapping a finger to his head with a grin.

"Truly insane. Shame as well, I was hoping that you would be more dangerous then you are. Maybe I could have provoked something from you. Just to make things a little bit worse for you." He felt sick thinking about what it could occur in someone's mind to take the very life of not just one person, but eight. "Don't you even feel guilty? Don't you wonder how you could not just hurt but take the very life from someone?" Jamie put his hands against the bars leaning against them a little more. "Don't you wonder what the hell is wrong with you?"

Davin raised an eyebrow staring coldly at Jamie no emotion on his face. "I know what's wrong with me...I've been going to phsycologist since I was an egg. Here's the truth. I am exactly what my poor dead parents wanted me to be. Cold. Emotionless. Cunning. You didn't see them clap....they applauded. Everytime I won an award they asked me if I felt proud. I always said no. And they would clap louder. When I would cry as a kid they would slap me...when I was happy, or scared.....smacked pushed kicked....then my sister....I loved my sister." He said softly, "No I don't feel guilty that I killed the man who killed my sister. No I don't feel guilty that I killed my parents cuz they weren't parents...."

He paused, "I feel guilty that I killed the five...I feel guilty that when I put the gun to my head I listened and put the gun down." Davin said with a smirk, "I feel guilty that I was born...and I feel sorry that you give a damn what I feel...because it doesn't matter...nothing I did or will do matters...."

Something snapped in Jamie's mind. "I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHAT YOU FEEL!" He smashed his fist against one of the bars and felt it vibrate. "I don't care how terrible your life was, I don't care what happened to you! To me you're not even human, to me you're simply a waste of oxygen and atoms. If you can hurt like you have, If you can sit there like you do then you're not human! You can sit there with no emotion then you can't even have a soul." He felt his anger rising, and knew that he couldn't do something stupid, he had already been warned once or twice.

Davin just smirked watching him amused. He tilted his head watching Jamie thoughtfully. "There...you do understand...." He smirked, "I don't believe that I have a soul...I don't think anyone does.." He smirked he was enjoying the mans outburst. The way he pounded the bars! Such pure emotion. It gave him shivers. His eyes flickered watching Jamie more closely, "That...and I'm not sitting..." He added with a laugh just to set him off again.

Jamie hit the bars again, and held in some things he knew he shouldn't say. "Stop laughing! You're mad! You should just shut up and die!" He tried to take deep breaths and calm but he could almost feel his fist making contact with the criminals face. The sun had completely gone, and now it was dark and cold. He found it harder to stay focused, and he turned and went to sit back down. 'stay quiet...don't say anything, let me sit down and just shut up...'

"I'm working on it..." He said softly watching Jamie silently now his gaze even more intent. Slowly he backed away to his 'bed' and sat down his eyes remaining on Jamie. He was deep in thought. 'What a strange man...so easily riled up....he needs to be knocked down a couple pegs....perhaps....a different approach...' He thought darkly wondering what else could make the man snap so.

He sat back down, feeling slightly sick. As soon as he was off shift he was going to ask never to be put here again. His mind screamed at him to hurt, to lash out. Something else held him back, but it was a hollow feeling, and he wasn't sure that he would be able to control himself. He picked up his book and flicked back to his page, but his eyes skimmed over the same few lines way too many times and he kept looking up at Davin. He felt a mess.

Davin stared back at him having nothing really better to do. He could tell how hard he was trying to read and fully aware that he wasn't getting anywhere. He watched Jamie with a blank face his eyes cold. They had lost their intensity and seemed to just be glazed over unblinking. His mind was a swarm however his thoughts far from Jamie.

When Jamie saw Davin's eyes, cold and blank now, his heart settled a little. He took a few deep breaths and tried again to keep reading. He could do it now, although he still found it hard to keep focus. Slowly the minutes passed, and the whole place was silent. Even the turning of pages was eerily muted in the large stone building. He wondered what it was that made this much of the population, enough for whole buildings to be built and filled in less then a year, so inhuman.
