Sotoe is cheerful,happy protective and very clumsy.She loves children and loved her daughter June very much.
Bio:Sotoe got pregnant with Destan's child when she was only 13.At the time she was only in middle school.Destan and Sotoe conceived June when the two were in the classroom studying together.But there was a blackout that day and that night they conceived june.But afterwards Sotoe broke out and tears and couldn't be with him because she knew he had a girlfriend and it would be too risky so she went home after that.Later on in the week Sotoe became scared when her period hadn't come when it was suppose to.Sotoe then went to her doctor and thats when she found out she was pregnant.When Sotoe told her parents they both abandoned her and Sotoe raised June on her own.When Sotoe's parents ever come by her apartment to see June Sotoe refuses because she no longer can trust her parents.

It was a bright and early morning.Sotoe was taking June shopping with her since June didn't go to school yet.
While June and Sotoe walked beside each other hand in hand,June spoke."Mommy who is my daddy?"June asked again.Sotoe was scared what to say.
"Your father....i can't find him."Sotoe said trying to make a coverup story so she wouldn't run off and go find him.
"Where is he?Maybe we can find him."
"Sweety i don't think we can do that today."Sotoe said sadly.
June nodded."Okay.What are we buying today."

Sotoe felt bad how she didn't even tell the father of her child that she was pregnant on that night of the blackout when June had been conceived.Sotoe doubted she would even see him ever again."Well we need more vegitables,different varieties of meat,noodles,rice and milk."Sotoe said with a smile.
Sotoe somehow missed being pregnant.It made her felt so much more confident but now since she wasn't Sotoe felt unprotected,unsafe,untamed.As they stepped into the market Sotoe grabbed a basket and went down the aisle toward the frozen vegitables and grabbed a couple of bags of different vegitables."This seem like enough vegitables?"She asked Sotoe
"Sure does but i don't like vegitables."
"Well you have to eat them so you can become strong and healthy."
June smiled."Okay."

After that Sotoe walked down to the frozen meat section and letting June pick out her favorites.
"Okay so porkchops,chicken breast,and steak.Anything else for meat wise?"She asked and June shook her head.
Sotoe walked down the aisle and took a carton of milk then to the cashier.Once everything was payed for she left the market with June and held June's hand.i wish i could see him again.

But he fell for Sotoe, a childhood friend. He proceeded to have intercourse with her, when he was 15, but vanished the night the lights went out. He hasn't heard from her since, but always wonders why he never left Sade until he graduated, always regretting never being able to have Sotoe...

~Destan walked around the small city, going through some legal documents. He'd started filling out some documents for college, wanting to become a pediatrician. "Damnit, why must they ask for the social security number? I never remembered that damn thing." He started to scraw it out. His current job was as a waiter at a local French restaurant.
~Destan finished the documents and stood up from hs small table in the park. "He headed towards the local supermarket for some milk, thats where he saw her..with a child...

While walking away from the market she saw Destan and she stopped walking.Destan? he's still in this town?Sotoe thought in her head."Destan...is that you?"Sotoe asked looking at Destan.She could feel her cheeks getting more of a red rose color."I haven't seen you since...that day..how have you been?"She asked having a smile on her face looking cheerfully at Destan.i still love him don't i?She asked herself knowing the answer.

June looked at the man and seeing her mother's reaction."Mommy is he my daddy?"She asked as Sotoe looked down at June.i want to say yes but if i do in front of Destan what will he say.Sotoe then took that chance and nodded.

~Destan hugged Sotoe tightly. "It's me Sotoe, in the flesh. I've been ok, making ends meet pretty much. God I've missed you. How have you been? Is everything ok? Who's this cute little one?" He had so many things to ask her. He needed to know so many things. "About that night... I'm going to need you to tell me all the details, over lunch." This was his subtle way of asking her out. He needed to know if she was safe and ok.

"Are you going to let me buy you lunch? Along with the sweetheart?" Destan asked, looking down at her gorgeous tanned face.

June was excited she nodded at Sotoe."Lets go mommy!Im June!"June said cheerfully.
Sotoe smiled."I also need to talk to you about that night also.Lunch would be exelent i'd really like that."Sotoe said cheerfully.She was very glad he was still in this town.Sotoe felt her heart beating faster.i still can't get over how good looking he really is.

June wanted Sotoe to hold her so Sotoe picked June up.Maybe he thinks june is my sister
"This is June she is my daughter."Sotoe said with a smile.

~Destan smiled and took her free hand. "Do you mind if I hold your hand across the street? It's dangerous around this time of day..." He offered, lacing her fingers with his. She's still adorable and her little sister is so cute. Although she never had a little sister when I knew her..

~Destan blinked as he watched Sotoe pick up June. "June is your...Daughter?" He was very confused and wanted to know how. "Please tell me how. Who is the father and why has he left you alone?"

Sotoe let Destan gold her free hand."Thats what i want to talk to you about.After that night durring the blackout.After i left i found out i was pregnant.Your June's father."Sotoe said a bit nervously.June just smiled at Sotoe and Destan.

June was happy her father was finally found.Her family was now to complete.Now all June wanted was a brother or sister."You can hold June and talk to her if you want."Sotoe said with a smile as she continued holding Destan's hand.Sotoe's heart beated faster as she said all of this along with holding his hand.i hope he's not mad.

~Destan, picked up June, and sat her onto his lap as he sat down in the chair across from Sotoe, as they waited to be served. "Sotoe...June is ours?" He was still confused about how this could have happened. "I just wanted to show you what love was, but I was head over heels for Sade. Then I hurt you by leaving you with June. I left you to raise a child alone. I'm really sorry. I'm attending the local college." Destan points down the block towards the campus. "I live in the Eastern dorms. I want you to come by sometimes. There's a Koi pond in the Gardens, I want you to meet me there, soon." He handed her a slip of paper that he had been waiting to show her for awhile, it contained his cell phone number and college extension.
~Destan looked at June. "June I'm your father. I know I haven't been around lately, but I will try and be around much much more, because I don't know you yet, but I know I love you already, ok? Daddy loves you..." Whoa...Did I just admit to being a father...HER father...Well, she does have my eyes...

Sotoe smiled at Destan how fond he was already of June."Down there huh.That shouldn't be too far right June."June nodded."I wanna see daddy everyday!"June said excitedly hugging Destan.
"Mommy and me make dinner all the time.We can bring daddy dinner!"June said hyperly.
Sotoe was glad Destan finally met his daughter now.

~Destan, smiles and kisses June's forehead. "You can bring Daddy lunch everyday if you want, but nothing too much, or the adminitrators will get suspicious." He looked into June's hazel eyes that matched his. "June, Daddy wants you to tell Mommy something. Ask Mommy if she will go on a date with Daddy.." He smiled, clumsily like the high schooler he was whenever she looked at him.

~Destan looked at Sotoe. "Let me do this, let me prove to you, I still want you..." He leaned over the table and pressed his lips against hers, holding her left cheek with his left hand gently.

June nodded."Will mommy go on a date with daddy?"June asked with a smile.Sotoe blushed deeply hearing June ask that and feeling the kiss on her lips.She then nodded."Okay...i will go on a date with you."Sotoe said with a smile."I've missed you a lot.When i left you..i even regretted it everyday i was pregnant with June...when i found out i was pregnant my parents kicked me out.So ever since i lived in my own apartment with June.Haven't seen my parents for a while..i don't like them anymore."

~Destan looked into her eyes. "Why did your parents kick you out instead of trying to help you? Or try to get you help? Sometiems I don't understand what goes on in the mind of adults sometimes. Anyway, I'm here now and I'm going to try and help you out. Do you have any money?" He dug into his pocket searching for something he could give her.
~Destan looked over at June, and placed her into a seat at the head of the round table they were sitting at as the waiter came and he ordered a orange juice for June and Water for himself.

"Not even i know why.To be honest i think it was wrong to do that since i was carrying their grandchild."June said as she pouted a bit."Yes i have money.I have a job as a waitress so sometimes i can bring June with me and sometimes i have my friend to babysit June."Sotoe said with a smile.

When Destan sat june down and bought her juice she automatically started drinking her orange juice when it came."Thank you daddy!"June said cheerfully.

~Destan slapped a 50$ bill into her hand, under the table. "This is for June and everything that you need for you two. I'll have another to give you every week, ok? I feel I need to start getting involved in my daughter's life. How old is she? Also, that's great that you're a waitress, but I work as receptionist in the hospital. I 'm studying to be a pediatrician. Ironic how I never knew I had a daughter until now, and I'm studying to work with kid. ^^ Well I make $10.50 an hour nd work part time and full time on the weekends. Quit your job. I will be the main provider. I'm guarenteed a job at the hospital because my Mother used to work in the Children's Wing before she died conceiving me. She was one of the heads in the children's department and her and Dad used to donate tons of money back to the Children's Wing all the time. Please quit. I want to show you I can be a good dad." He looked at her as June's chicken fingers came and his steak with string beans and mashed pootatoes came. "What did you order Sotoe?"
~Destan looked over at his beautiful daughter. "June don't drink up all your juice so fast. Do you like chicken fingers?"

"Okay i will quite my job."Sotoe said with a smile."i trust you."Sotoe said sweetly.Soon June's salad came along with her frozen yogurt."I ordered the salad with chicken slices and rasberry frozen yogurt."Sotoe said with a smile."Shouldn't we both move in together since we're both the parents of June and it might be easier?"Sotoe asked as she took a bite of her salad.

June stopped and nodded."I love chicken nuggets!Their yummy i love them with honey and ketchup!"June said taking a chicken nugget and biting into it then drinking a sip of her juice."hey daddy...can i ask you something?"June asked looking up at Destan."Do you and mommy still love eachother?will you be staying with us at home?"

~Destan looked into Sotoe's eyes. "Sotoe, I really want you to try and see if there is a spark between us, but I don't really know because I've been waiting so long for you. After Sade dumped me during prom, I just went home so depressed I didn't even look for you at Prom. I'm sorry. I had no clue about June. I would have helped you out if I knew. I'm not the type to just leave you with that." He looked over at June.
~Destan smiled at the small child. "Daddy doesn't know yet. Daddy's still in school so Dady will have to stop living near school and live with you guys. He doesn't know yet. Daddy likes Mommy, yes. He likes her..."There's nothing else I can say to that question, my dear. I'm not even sure if she'll take me back...All the pain I put her through alone..

Sotoe just listened to Destan.She wanted to show him she still had feelings for him."It wasn't your fault.Its mostly my fault.I didn't tell you when i knew."Sotoe said slightly putting her head down thinking.why didn't i tell him?I was probably scared. "I didn't tell you because at the time i knew and felt like you didn't love me and you had Sade.So i felt i was only going to ruin your lives if i told anyone about it.

June nodded to Destan and Understood he had to go to school."Okay daddy!"

~Destan watched looked down at all three finished platters. "Desert?" He looked directly at June when he asked this, and smiled. A smile with straight white teeth and a promise. A promise to always love his daughter. A promise to try and reconnect with her mother. A promise to himself to try and be a better man and father
~Destan looked at Sotoe. "Well, let's update each other on what's been going on in each other's lives? That'll help us get to know each other better. It's been what 3 years?" He looked at her, while the waiter took their plates and handed out desert menus.

When Destan said dessert June bounced up and down."Cake!"

Sotoe just smiled at June and lightly giggled."Well June's birthday is comming up right June."she said and june nodded."Well currently when after i gave birth to June i had no choice but to quite school because my parents wouldn't help take care of June.I had not enough money for a babysitter and most of my friends were out of town."
Sotoe explained as she looked at her dessert menu.

~Destan watched Sotoe as he too looked down at the menu. He saw some ice cream that caught his eye. As the waiter came, he announced his desert. "Vanilla ice cream please with chocolate chips. June, Sotoe what are you two ordering?" He looked over at June.
~Destan listened carefully, as he waited for June to order. "Sotoe, if I take of June sometimes, will you promise me to go back to school? I can have some of the nurses in the hospital keep her in the wing sometimes. They love me. ^^ I always promise I'll take them out for dinner, and I do sometimes ^^" Anyway, I bet they'll be willing to watch her." He offered with hope.

"I'll have chocolate icecream."Sotoe told the waiter."I want double fudge cake!"June exclaimed.She then returned to talking to Destan."Are you sure its alright?"She asked tilting her head and looking at Destan.She was happy he was letting her go back to school."I'll go back to school.Don't worry."She said with a smile.

"I'll have to write a list for you because some things she is illergic to and what she can't have."

~Destan giggled a bit when he heard what June had asked for. He then mentioned a small portion size for her, as not to give her a sugar rush so early in the day. "Chocolate ice cream eh? I'll never forget it ^^" He smiled at Sotoe, and kissed her lightly. "Yes I'm sure, the least the nurses will do is make you write out her information to keep on file. Just refer to me when you get there. Say Mr. Destan Giovanni sent you and that June is my daughter. They won't beleive you and will want you to take a DNA test. I will take the test on Monday morning. I want you to come in Monday afternoon, when I am just starting my shift, do you understand? When you take the DNA test, June's finger will be pricked, they will send her to the Children's Wing to put a band-aid on her there. I will then get the results and meet you in the lobby. Ok?"
~Destan kissed June's forehead lightly. "So how old are you now June?"

Sotoe understood."Okay.I understand."She said and nodded.Sotoe had usually wrote a lis about June often because she had her friend babysit her often.

June looked up at Destan and smiled."Im this many!"She said holding 4 fingers up."But i will be this many really soon."She said holding 5 fingers up."And then soon i will be off to kindergarten!"

~Destan nodded at Sotoe. "They'll like you. Many of the nurses there have hit on me, and many of them are nice and pretty, but I could never stop thinking of you or how Sade hurt me. Sade wanted to do it during Prom and I said no. That's why she dumped me. I know we were young, but Sotoe you were my first." He blushed looked down at his ice cream as he took a scoop and ate it.
~Destan looked at June "That's a big girl we have Sotoe. 5 years old! Wow. What do you want for your birthday June? Daddy will get it for you."

"Are you sure they will like me?"Sotoe asked nervously.Though Sotoe blushed when Destan told her she was his first."Was it alright for..your first?"Sotoe asked nervously.For Sotoe it was the best for her first.She scooped ice cream into her spoon and ate it.

June thought for a moment."I want a coloring book or a doll!"She said taking a bite into her cake.
