Onalea blushed and smiled at him behind her curtain of hair. "Ok where to next?" she asked since she had finished eating. She was having the best time with him. She was suddenly that she was falling for him.

Jace smiled at her, "well we got everything we needed so how about if we just walk around. We can check out any store you want." he said as he looked at her and smiled. He was glad he found her at that asylum and glad to be with her now. She seemed to be making everything better in his life.

Onalea smiled up at him. "Ok" she said and stood. then suddenly a girl walked up to them. "Hello Jace. Long time no see." she said. Onalea looked at the girl surprised then suddenly saw everything about this girl. She was the girl that Jace had a crush on in high school. But he other things she saw made her head hurt. She looked up at Jace hoping to let him know she wanted to go. "Well well well ho is this?" she asked looking at her. "Where did you pick this little trashy thing up?"

Jace growled when he heard the girl and stood up slowly. He seemed to grow ten feet and he glared down atthe girl he use to like. "leave her alone, you slut." he growled at her and you could tell if she diet back off he would hurt her. He then wrapped a arm around Onalea, "come on." he said and started to walk away with her. He had seen the pain on her face right away and knew he would get her out of there right away. Once far away he whispered, "are you okay."

Onalea clutched onto him. "I am now. Thank you" she said looking up at him thankfully. "Can we go?" she asked staying close to him. She had her head on his chest. Suddenly everyone's pasts were going threw her head. "Please" she begged.

Jace nodded and picked her up into his arms. "no please needed." he said to her softly and started to run out of there. He dodged people with ease and he didn't ever slow down. Soon he was outside next to his car and he held her closer, "you okay now?" he asked her softly.

Onalea held onto him tightly and kept her face buried in his chest. "Yes this is a lot better." she whispered but didn't pull her face back. "Con you tell me about that girl? I know I saw it but I want's to hear it from you. You make everything sound good." she said wanting to take her mind off the pain.

Jace sighed and kept her in his arms. "well as you already know I had a crush on her in high school. I was the kid in the corner who hardly anyone ever noticed till he said something and she was the popular girl in class who never looked at a guy like me. But one day she started to talk to me and things moved to the next and in no time we where dating." he said to her softly, "but she always seemed to act differently around me. Then one day she kind of trapped me in her house when no one was home and you can tell what happend. I sort of liked it but not that much. It wasn't till later I found out she only did that to make her old boyfriend jelouse. I duped her right away and I never heard from her again till today." he said and kept her close.

Onalea looked up at him sadly. "I am sorry about that." she said and now really didn't like that girl. "Oh we better go now. She is coming this way." she siad but before she could finish the girl was there. "Where did you go in such a hurry Jace? We didn't get to talk." she said placing a hand on his shoulder. She pushed Onalea out of his arms wich made her hit the car hard and then slid to the ground. The girl smiled at Jace then kissed him.

Jace was surprsied by the kiss but he had learned to deal with situations like this and in less then a second he had the girl in a neck lock and he whispered into her ear, "leave me and my girl alone or else I will kill you, I do have a lisence to kill." he said to her in a cold tone and then picked her up and threw her into the bushes. He then picked up Onalea into his arms and held her close, "are you okay? did she hurt you at all?" he asked and you could hear the worry in his voice.

Onalea put her head on his chest and clung to him. "My back really hurts." she whimpered. She couldn't believe he had called her his girl. It had made her really happy when she heard it. She looked up at him smiling weakly. "Thank you" she whispered and winced in pain. She kept close to him.

Jace kept her close to him and ran a gentle hand over her back, "I better take you home and take a look at that." he said to her softly and got into the car. He kept her in his lap as he drove out of there and didn't even care about the girl he had just chuckled into the bushes. THe only girl he cared for was the girl in his arms that was hurt now.

Onalea closed her eyes tightly shut in pain not wanting to scream. "Please don't touch my back" she whispered but stayed close to Jace. "I think she was forcing her past into my head." she said smiling weakly.

Jace held her close and nodded when he heard her. He kissed her head gently, "sorry." he said to her softly and held her close. "I think she knew." he said to her softly and soon he was pulling up to his house. He got out of the car and carried her up inside and hoped she wasn't hurt to bad.

"It's ok" Onalea said. "I think she did too" she said painfully. "Please make it stop" she whispered looking up at him sadly. It hurt like crazy. "Did I leave a dent in the side of the car?" she asked because it sure hurt like she did.

Jace quickly looked and sure enough thre was one. "yeah you did." he said to her softly and then headed into his house. He headed to his room where he kept anything medical. He gently layed her down onto the bed and went to work without a second to lose. He pulled out a needle and injected her with pain killers. "you will feel nothing soon." he said to her and gently stroked her head.

Onalea winced. "No wonder it hurt." she said and once he gave her the pain killers. She took his hand. "Don't leave me." she whispered looking at him hopefully. "Can you look and see what it looks like?" she asked softly. She wanted to know what damage that girl had done to her.

Jace smiled at her and squeezed her hand gently, "I wasn't planning on it." he said to her softly. He then nodded and gently turned her and slowly pushed up her shirt so he could see her back. It was bad bruised and it looked horrible. He ran a hand over it gently and found not blood or anything that was out of place. He then smiled at her, "it is just bruised, nothing else.

Onalea nodded and smiled at him. This time when he ran a hand down her back it felt good. She put a hand on his cheek. "Ok....please don't stop" she whispered smiling at him. She didn't want him to stop. It felt so good. It almost made all the pain go away. "It feels so good" she said.

Jace was surprsied when he heard her but he smiled and gently stroked her back again. "just tell me when to stop." he said to her softly as he layed his other hand over hers. He would do this since it seemed this was making the pain less and he was enjoying the feel of her under his fingers.

Onalea closed her eyes enjoying it. "I think you will be doing that for a long time." she said and felt herself falling asleep. "you know that feels amazing" she said and as her hand fell from his cheek she was asleep.

Jace smiled when he saw her fall asleep and continued to do it. He knew that if he stoped she might wake up and he didn't want that since she needed the sleep. He relaxed as he stroked her back and found himself falling asleep.

Onalea smiled in her sleep still felling his hand on her back. It gave her wonderful dreams instead of her usual seeing what others had done. She felt his hand slow down she smiled more. Her hand that was hanging over the bed found it's way to his and she entangled their fingers. SHe slept on happily.

Jace smiled when he felt her hand in his and squeezed it gently. He continued to sleep and found himself dreaming of her. He liked being like this with Onalea. He would make sure that no one ever hurt her like that again. She was the only girl that mattered to him now and it would protect her.

After a while Onalea woke and smiled feeling his hand in hers and his other hand on her back. She opened her eyes smiling seeing Jace so close. She smiled and leaned forward. She pressed her lips to his gently and smiled pulling back. She then closed her eyes acting like she was asleep. She smiled widely loving the feeling.
