Kurama sighed softly as he walked through the gates to the school. He didn't live very far so he didn't mind the walk. Helped keep him in shape too. He brushed some of his long red hair out of his face as a gust of wind ran over his body. He loved the way that the wind felt dancing across his skin. His school uniform fit comfortably and wasn't too hot. He was glad for that because some of the class rooms got stuffer then he liked.

His foot hit a pebble as he walked and he just smiled to himself a bit as he adjusted his bag on his shoulder. He smiled as he looked up and at a few of his 'friends' as they liked to call them. They had no idea who he was. Only a smart guy in a class. Not the fox demon he truly was.

He walked up to his friends and he started to make idol conversation just trying to figure out what this new high school year was going to be like. He hoped it wasn't like last where he had to deal with stupid people and they thought they could push him around. They of course found out the hard way that plants can trip you or rip your pants off. He smiled at the memories of it.

(I hope this is an okay start. And that they keep their powers. Just a bit of them.)

Hiei sighed as he entered the school grounds, how in gods name had he been talked into this. Once he was far enough in and started to see people, he could tell people were staring at him, he heard some thing along the lines of "Did a middle school-er get lost?". He glared over at the person, your lucky I can't kill humans or you would be dead already. He sighed as he looked around, well at least it could be worse, at least he was going to school with Kurama, and not the other idiots, like Kuwabara for instance, now he would rather go to hell before he had to spend every day with him.

He wondered the school grounds in till he spotted Kurama, he wondered if Kurama had been aware of his sudden entrance into school. He didn't understand how he was able to live as a human, the uniform was uncomfortable, and ugly, and girly and something he never wanted to be caught dead wearing and here he was. Well at least the weather was nice, that was a plus.

Maybe things wouldn't be so bad right? he would have Kurama to keep him entertained, and humans were stupid, which meant they were amusing. He would have to get through it either way, he couldn't back out of the deal he had made now, once he said he would do something, he went through with it.

(lolz That's so Hiei. And we said high school right?)

Kurama felt Hiei's presence and looked behind him to see him standing there. He felt his heart get caught in his throat and he blushed a bit as a girl hugged him from behind. "H-Hello Kiki." Kurama said as he pulled away a bit. His hair was across his shoulder and his green eyes watched Hiei a bit. My shrimp Kurama said to himself as he waved to him. "I"m sorry Kiki. I need to show my new friend around the school grounds." he said as said good-byes and just left her huffing to herself.

Kiki was very jealous of this new student. She was a very controlling person and had gotten everything she ever wanted throughout her who life so not having Kurama's attention was a big slap in her face. "Kurama is mine..." she said to herself as she crossed her arms over her chest. She had that eight hour glass shape to her body and long dirty blond hair that was curly. She walked away thinking of a way to get Kurama's attention all to herself.

Kurama hugged the smaller male. "THANK YOU!" he practically cried on his shoulder. "You just save me from the worst thing in the world. I hate her." he said as he gave him a squeeze then let him go. "I can kill lots of high level demon's but one girl can just kill me with her voice." he said as he clenched a fist in the air and tears streamed down his cheeks. After he seemed to calm himself down he looked down at him. "So how do you like our little school?" he said with a giggle knowing that he would hate it. He didn't like much things other then his sister.

Hiei couldn’t help but grin when he saw the position Kurama was currently in, that girl looked pretty damn annoying. She may have been good looking, but that didn’t matter once they were annoying in possessive then it was all over and there were no redeeming qualities to look for. That was exactly why he didn’t deal with girls, most of the time the pretty ones worth looking at were annoying and stuck up, not to mention a lot taller than him, which pissed him off, a lot.

Hiei had a dumb founded expression on his face when Kurama hugged him “Are you trying to kill me, let go” He said as he attempted to pull away from the hug but failed. He wouldn’t have failed, if he had put his full strength behind it, although he wouldn’t admit it, the hug was nice. “Then tell her to fuck off, and that you hate her, see that’s your problem your way to nice” He said. If it had been him in that position he would have told her to back off and leave him alone, and that he wasn’t interested. Then again he probably wouldn’t have talked to her in the first place.

“Are you crying?” He asked with a bit of a disgusted expression on his face “I really wonder how you ended up being such a pansy” he said with a disappointed sigh. He certainly was not the person, he had pictured him being, sure his Demon form was, but his Human form was pathetic really, really pathetic, and girly, then again Yoko was girly looking as well. “I don’t like it” he said honestly.

(no their not. lolz Um maybe their sinor year just cause you can get away with a lot more. And just let me know if my posts get to long or you want me to change something about it.)

"Well Hiei you don't like much and life." he said as he sighed softly and brushed some of his long hair out of his face. He let his mind wonder a bit before he moved closer and whispered "Its an act stupid. I just can change the way i act the last year of school now can I. I get more attention then I want already." as he backed away he watched Kiki disappear. "And I've noticed that girl has been acting different. Remember when Koenma said that there might be lower level demon's taking over humans. Well I think he might be right." he said as he put his hand on his chin and his other hand around his chest resting the elbow on his other arm.

He leaned back against some lockers just letting his mind wonder more as he watched some of the other students just pass. That was their assignment. Find and get rid of all the lower level demon's that were taken over the kids in the school. That was easy enough you just had to make sure no one found out or exposed them for who they really where. That's why Kuwabara and Yusuke couldn't do it. They would be aggressive towards it but Kurama knew that he and Hiei would be able to handle it correctly. And Hiei should be out of what he probably considers hell with in the month if it was done correctly.

"Well I better show you to your classes. I believe that you were placed in all my classes so you don't need to worry about getting lost or something. I hope you can handle it." he said as he pushed away from the lockers he'd been leaning against and walked across the hall to his bag that was still sitting where he'd dropped it. He picked it up and slung it over his shoulder before turning and looking at Hiei. "Well you coming?" he asked when he didn't see the smaller male move.

“You’re lucky I like you, Kurama” he said. Out of all of them Kurama, was probably the one he viewed as his closest friend, although he would never admit that, too anyone, they would think he was going soft “I’m not stupid, so don’t call me stupid” He said in an annoyed tone of voice. He got the feeling he wasn’t going to be very liked by his fellow classmates but that didn’t bother him, he didn’t care if he liked him. “And I would suggest if you plan on keeping up that facade you don’t associate with me much” He said. It would cause problems if nice guy Kurama, who never did anything wrong, was friends with someone like Hiei, who was an ass.

Hiei’s ear twitched as he heard people talking about him, he really wanted to kill one of them right now, he was sick of hearing them whisper about how he was short. He wasn’t that short god, okay he was, but they didn’t need them to point it out. Especially when he had a short temper, and killing a human would put a damper on his life, he would get in trouble and be locked away again. “Who knows if she is, but seriously just tell her off, if she’s annoying you” He said. Act or not, he wouldn’t be able to deal with someone who was annoying like that, he would probably yell and put her in her place, and probably make her cry.

“Lost? I won’t get lost” he said with a glare “Oh, because I’m sure I can’t handle human school” He said. He didn’t like how it seemed like Kurama was almost treating him like he was a hopeless little child who didn’t know up from down. “Yeah Yeah” he said and followed after Kurama. This wasn’t going to be fun, he could see it already he needed to hurry up and finish this job so he could drop out.

Kurama chuckled a bit as he looked at him. He was just so cute. He turned around and walked down the halls. He got a bad feeling and looked around and noticed that not a lot of people were in the halls. Now that he looked around no one was in the halls. He stopped in his tracks and his hole attitude changed as it got serious. He noticed the lighting in the room got darker and a deep laughter could be heard. He looked around till a man appeared in front of them.

"Did you think you could stop me Yoko?" the man asked. His long hair hid his face from view. His body shook as it started to laugh. Kurama couldn't tell if he was a human or not but didn't have the time either. The hallway seemed to swallow them both up and the sinister laughing could be heard as Kurama started to fight. "Have fun in the past." the thing said as the world got dark on him.

Kurama couldn't stand the strain on his human body. It felt like a huge pressure was pushing on his body and crushing him. His body went rigid as he screamed loudly. Tears streamed out of his cheeks as it got worse and worse till he finally gave into the pain and passed out.

"You know, I thought schools would be busier places" He said as he walked through the hallways following Kurama. But stopped dead in his tracks at the same time Kurama had. He could sense something, something bad was coming and he didn't like the thought of it. His first day of school, and something was already going to happen that was just his luck.

Hiei glanced at the man, and watched him, he didn't seem human, or at least that's what he thought. But he couldn't attack him, because if he was human he would get in trouble. What they would need to do, would be to either figure out he was a demon and get rid of him, or find the puppet master.

He was about to get ready to make a move when he saw Kurama pass out, which caused him to glance away from the man, and as soon as he did he was gone "Kurama" he said as he walked over and shook him some hoping he would wake up, he didn't know what to do to wake him up, and they couldn't waste any time. He looked away from Kurama, and noticed they were now somewhere else, great just what he needed more work. And if Kurama didn't wake up, he was going to have to do everything on his own.

Kurama winced as he felt Hiei shaking him. He was to out of it to realized what just happened. His body seemed to smoke as Yoko took over. His long red hair turned silver and his eyes turned a dark yellow color. Large ears folded out of his head and a rather bushy tail came out as his cloths changed. Yoko slowly sat up and looked at Hiei. "Been a long time." he said as he stood up noticing blood spots all over his body. "I guess that rose vine did get him before he passed out." he said to himself as he tried to wipe the other things blood off of him.

"So....Where are we?" he asked, his ears moving around at ever sound as he sniffed the air slightly. He didn't feel any danger so he wasn't ready for an attack but then again he wasn't sure of the new surroundings. "Oh, and did you sustain any injuries?" he asked just asking for the hell of it knowing he didn't. He smiled to himself a bit as he stretched out a bit. He yawned a bit as he bent back, showing some of his sharp teeth. I hope Kurama will be okay after some rest.... he thought to himself.

Kurama was just sleeping inside of them right now. And with the help of Yoko all his bones will be healed. Or that's what Yoko was hoping. He didn't want Shuichi to die just because he was attacked because of his spiritual pressure. He had promised to protect him since he'd taken refuge in the small child's body. So he had to pay him back some how right?.

“So the other half appears” He said. Not that he really minded. Yoko would probably be needed right now anyway, and it was better for him to be around. Kurama was strong, but not as strong as Yoko was. He remembered when he first met Kurama, it was almost hard to believe that he and Yoko was the same person, but they were, and they were both forces to be reckoned with. “Always the same tricks” He said as he stood up and looked around, they certainly weren’t in the school anymore, just what he needed. They were probably going to get yelled at for missing classes.

“What the hell makes you think I know where we are?” he asked. Honestly stupid question to ask, what made him think he was any more informed then he was? He had no god damn idea where they were and that was actually bothering him. He should have been paying more attention so that person couldn’t sneak up on them, or rather him. “I’m fine, but you knew that” He said. Yoko seemed to ask a lot of stupid questions, whether it to be annoying or for some other reason.

“So are we going to stand here, or look for a way out?” he asked. He didn’t want to be stuck here for too long, who knew what the time difference was between here and the real world, they could be here for a day and a year could pass back home, which would be bad.

Yoko felt a weird feeling and did a double flip backwards just in time to not get attacked by a huge worm creature. This looked like a regular worm but with really big sharp teeth and eyes that hung out of the tip of the head. It grumbled strangely and Yoko sighed softly. He moved his hand to the left of his ear and took out a seed. He ran up to the strange creature and threw it in the mouth. He smiled as he lifted his hand in the air as he slowly drifted to the ground, and vines started ripping through the creature's body. Yoko looked down at his leg and noticed a small tare in his cloths and he sighed.

"Yeah. We should find a way out of here." he said as he fixed his hair a bit. He looked at the dark haired shrimp and smiled. He couldn't believe the attraction between him and Hiei. He wasn't sure of the shorter males feelings but he knew if he staid here and stared at him long enough he would have a huge problem to deal with later. He turned away and looked around. He saw what looked like a hole in the sky and decided that might be a good place to start.

It felt like a half an hour before they got to the point. He was starting to feel hungry and realized he hadn't eaten in what must have been two years. He laughed at himself as he tried to think of a way to get a better look. "You think you can jump high enough to get a good look at that?" he asked Hiei as he pointed up at the hole in the sky.

Hiei didn’t even bother getting ready to attack; he knew Yoko was more than capable of getting the job done himself, especially with a weakling like this. He knew that if he did try and get involved, it might cause trouble; after all it wasn’t always easy attacking the same person. He watched as Yoko did what he did, such a show off. Well at least now he knew there were even more creatures he would have to worry about while, they were here, which hopefully wouldn’t be too long. Something didn’t feel right about this place, and he just wanted to get out of it.

“I swear your even girly then Kurama” he said as he watched him fix his hair. Sure Yoko was deadly strong, but he was pretty girly with the way he did things then again so was Kurama. It was amazing they even got along; then again they said opposites attracted each other, maybe that was true. After all Hiei had felt himself drawn to Kurama, for whatever reason, he was.

Once they got there, he looked up that certainly was pretty high up. He looked over at Yoko and raised an eye brow “Your like two feet taller, than me and you want me to be the one to jump up there, I’m pretty sure I could but that isn’t the point here” He said. Why would he ask the shorter person to jump, when it would obviously be easier for the taller one.

Yoko laughed a bit and scratched the back of his head a bit. He didn't want to say the reason he didn't want to jump up was because he didn't want to get attacked. "Fine. If you're going to be a baby about it." he said as he sighed and laughed a bit. "And you're right. You are a shrimp." he said as he leapt into the air as hard as he could. When he got closer he noticed it was the portal that they had come from. Or that's what it looked like. He got to the top and just let himself be pulled into it hoping that he'd made Hiei angry enough to follow him.

When they went through he noticed that it was the same point as when they left. He was a little confused and wondered why time hadn't changed. He sighed softly and let Kurama take over. He winced slightly as he felt Kurama's pain. He fell to his knees as his hair, eyes, cloths changed again. Kurama held his chest panting softly. "I think this would be a good excuse to get out of school...bullies hurt me...yeah.." he said as he tried not to think about the pain in his right arm that hadn't healed yet.

Hiei glared at him “I wasn’t being a baby, I was being logical, maybe you should try it sometime” He said. He was about to comment about the shrimp comment, but he didn’t have any time, he was already gone. Like hell Hiei was going to let him have all the fun, besides he was pretty good at jumping high, and any action that went on up there, he wanted part of it. Not to mention he wanted revenge on whoever had sent him here, it wasn’t exactly fun getting wrapped into some unknown world with strange creatures.

Without wasting another second, Hiei followed Yoko’s lead, and leapt off the ground and into the hole. Easy enough for him that was, he may be short but he made up with it in power, it would teach people not to judge a book by its cover. Once he was through the whole he realized they were back at the school, the same place they had been when they left, strange. He glanced over, and noticed that Yoko had reverted back to Kurama, and how Kurama seemed to be in pain “I should take you to the hospital” He said as he walked over and offered him a hand

Kurama nodded slowly as he felt some sweat drip down the side of his face. He heard the bell ring and students started to file out of the class rooms. They all stopped when they saw Hiei and Kurama. "Dude! What happened!" one kid yelled thinking the two got into a fight while everyone was in class.

"Some bully just beat the crap out of me." Kurama said as he whimpered softly standing. He leaned a little on Hiei but it just felt awkward since he was shorter then him. "I'm going to the nurses office then home probably." he said as they just walked away. He didn't want to answer anymore questions.The nurse didn't know what to do with the two when they walked in. "Can I go home?" Kurama asked and the nurse just nodded. Kurama lead the way out of the school and they went to Kurama's house.

When they walked in, after unlocking the door, he was glad to find that his mother wasn't home. He didn't want to trouble her anymore then necessary. He bit back a cry when he leaned on his hurt arm. "Damn it." he cursed as he sat down on his bed. "Yoko...you jerk...take over already..." he yelled at himself but Yoko didn't and Kurama was just getting a little angry because of the pain. He didn't want to go to the hospital since his mother would find out but then again if she came in in the middle of the night she was bound to find his arm a little funny looking.

A bully that was cool, saying he got beat up by a bully, then again what other choice did he have. Though he was pretty damn sure, if a Bully ever did try to attack Kurama, he would get his ass kicked all the way to America. There was no way any, such human would ever be able to cause so much damage to Kurama, well unless it was a special human like Yusuke.

Hiei helped him down to the nurses, office and once they were done there he helped him home. Once they got to his house he looked around “All these years of knowing you, and I’ve never been inside your home” he said. There was probably a reason he hadn’t been inside his house, it was his human life and Hiei wasn’t part of that world. At least his mother wasn’t home, he didn’t really want to have to meet her and be nice to her “I could bring you to Yukina’s, or get her to come here” He said. He knew his sister had studied healing, and would be more than glad to help him out.

Kurama laid out on the bed wincing a bit when his shoulder moved a bit. "Yeah...maybe...I know I wont be able make it anywhere else..." he said as he let his body just slowly start to relax but with all the pain his body was ridge and refused to listen. He sighed softly as he looked around a bit. He was glad that his mother hadn't rearranged his room again. He didn't want to have to explain anything like dolls his mother made him keep or something. He could feel sweat just slipping off his body. "I-I should change...I-I don't want to..." he started but stopped when he felt pain shoot through his body. He laid there for a few more seconds before trying again but turning on his other side.

"I'm sorry Hiei. You don't need to stay. I'll be fine in a few hours...or by tomorrow at least. I know you don't like being near human things..." he said after a few minutes of trying not to scream when he sat up. He needed to do something that he wasn't going to be asking Hiei to help him with. The bathroom. And really badly. peeeeeee~! he thought to himself as he stood up. "If you'll excuse me. I need to use the bathroom." he said as he slowly started to walk towards his private bathroom that was in his room.
