"Follow us?" Lillith asked, alarmed. "Where do you intend to bring me? And Amelia is here? Why can't I act like I know her." |
"Yes, they don't want me getting hurt." William chuckled a little before getting a serious face on again. "To you brother who is waiting right outside the palace walls. She devised this plan that she has been staying with me for the past few days. Never had an in counter with gypsies. Now we must hurry before they suspect something."
|
Lillith nodded, though frowned. "Take me to him." She commanded after a moment, stalking down the hallway. |
William quickly caught up to the girl then gently grabbed her elbow and without looking at her again lead her out of the palace. When the gate opened he quickly walked out of hearing range of the guards. "Get ready to run and follow me." He commanded this time.
|
"To run?" Lillith questioned, glancing at William and wrenching her arm from the male's grip. No one had mentioned that they would have to flee... Noble, however, was watching from the forest, and quickly hopped unto Merik's broad back. The horse moved as his master nudged. Noble pushed out of the trees, galloping past the two people. Midstride, he leaned down, gripping his sister, who swung quickly up, clinging to her brother. She was clearly suprised, and the action had only come from a lot of practice. The gypsy boy clearly hadn't trusted William to keep his side of the bargain, though he paused to nod his thanks, before turning the horse, who rushed back into the trees. It was easy enough to get away from the guards and prince, and back at the camp, Noble began beratting the female, who stared at the ground and shuffled nervously. |
William had expected this to happen, not like they would trust him. The girl even tried running out of the castle with out him. But right when the horse stop he quickly said something to the gypsy boy. "Ame's at my house." At the moment she wasn't but would be soon and he knew the boy wouldn't act upon it right away.
Then he watched them depart. Only took walk back and order the guards to get back to work guarding the palace. He had needed to finish some buisness before he could return home with his sister. |
As soon as he was done with Lillith, Noble moved to the paddock, letting Merik go inside. The horse trotted to his new friend, Eisa, and neighed a welcome. Noble watched, frowning. Why would he care if she was at her brother's or not. He didn't care about her. Tomorrow, he could put this all behind him...Still... The male slipped away, and made his way to William's. He crouched down close to the house, making sure he was well hidden, though he could peek out and see the front. |
Both William and Amelia were outside, William on the bench while Amelia was laying the grass. "How long are you going to be out here?" William asked from behind his book.
"Till I freeze to death. At least I'll get to see our real mother." Amelia said staring up at the sky. "I think she would prefer if you stayed down here and you are the spitting image of her personality and all, just look in a mirror. Now come inside before you catch a cold." William stood up before walking inside, knowing his sister would follow. Amelia sat up with a stretch, staying there for a little while. Lost in her thoughts. |
Noble resisted the urge to move out from his hiding place, instead settling into a more comfortable position. How had the female gotten into his head this quickly? And how hard would it be to get her out now? God, this was such a mess. It wasn't like Noble could be with her anyway. She was a princess. He was a gypsy. He sighed softly, and ran a hand through his ebony hair. |
Quickly Amelia got up and ran inside. Had found a devious plan that would allow her to stay outside longer. With a few laughs as William chased Amelia around the house. She walked back out with a blanket wrapped around her body and sat on the bench.
Amelia couldn't help but think of Noble, now that he was gone he was all she could think about. It plagued her mind constantly, putting her mind into a dazed state. Every time she tried to picture him she couldn't and it drove her crazy. She couldn't understand why one person could leave such an impression on her. Couldn't help but think it was because they way he treated her. No one dared to do the things he did. There was no other explanation for it in her mind. She just wanted to see him again. |
After a bit, and silken pants being the only thing the gypsy boy wore, Noble sighed and moved away. Bathe and bed...and the cold water would help cool his blood. Depite the chill in the air, Noble couldn't seem to calm down. The male moved away, to the river close to his camp. Soon, he was submerged under the water, only his head tipped back to stare at the stars. The water wasn't so cold after you got used to it. It had, however, done nothing to cool his blood. |
Soon Amelia's brother was outside to drag her inside to eat. He wondered when the gypsy would come or if he had already. His sister seemed lost and she wasn't the type that was good with reading into her feelings. Helped she never met any men other then the guards, him and their father. It was new to her.
Even after Amelia had eaten she was back outside. She could help it she felt more at peace. With thoughts of the gypsies Amelia couldn't help but adventure out into the yard and start dancing. William watched her with surprise from the door way. |
The cold got to Noble eventually, and he stepped out, tugging his pants on. He made his way back to the camp, huddling by the fire to dry himself, and thankful that most of the gypsies had gone to bed. There was no denying it. Noble wanted her. Maybe not as a wife, but he wanted her around. It didn't change the fact that he couldn't have her, but still. |
Amelia was carried back into her brothers home by getting thrown over Williams shoulder. For her she got to sleep on the couch seeing as her brother turned the second room into a study. For reasons unknown to her he left the door open before departing to his room to sleep. Leaving Amelia to her thoughts.
It had gotten to the point Amelia was ready to runaway. Only thing stopping her was she didn't know were to go and was scared of getting lost. She just wanted to be at the gypsy camp again, with all the liveliness. Dancing, singing, and the family. It was nice there and she wanted to go back. Wasn't like she couldn't throw away her title as princess. |
The gypsy boy remained by the fire, staring into the embers, until his pants were dry. He trudged to his caravan, climbing into the wagon slowly. Kaya was out hunting, so the male simply allowed his body to sag and fall into his bed. He tugged multiple pillows to his body before heaving a sigh. He could remember Amelia on these sheets, giggling and laughing as Noble tickled her. And the whole damn bed smelled like her! The male growled, at it was a few more hours until he fell asleep. (Feel free to skip to the morning...) |
[{'kay}] The small house was practically alive in the morning with shrieks and laughter, the siblings relationship was quite close, and the princess couldn't help but absorb the princes happiness. Even through the laughter though no smile would stay because every time she started to think, everything would come rushing back. If she willed it too or not. Soon enough though Amelia was back outside in a simple dress with her bow in hand and a quiver around her waist full of arrows. The target was a post across the yard with hay secured around it. Amelia was hopping that shooting her bow would keep her mind of the gypsy boy, who's kiss still lingered on her lips. Every arrow was slightly short of the target she desired for the lack of concentration. |
Noble had been busy all morning. The camp was getting packed up, horses were fed then teethered. At least, with the amount of things that needed to be done, the gypsy had no time to focus on Amelia. It was better that way, anyway. Soon, the sun was high overhead: Midday, and time to leave. Eisa was curently attached behind Noble's caravan. He should have sold the beast, he had no fodder to spare for the horse, nor the time or use for it. But, it was all he had for the princess. And a part of him didn't want to forget. Noble refused to aknowledge that as he climbed into the driver's seat. |
Amelia gained the new habit of pacing, she had nothing to do. So all she could focus on was Noble, Lillith, and all the gypsies. She couldn't help but silently scold herself for getting so comfortable there. Now she worried if they would get away or if the two even made it back. She just wanted to see them one last time... She needed to talk to her brother.
"William can I can throw away my status as princess?" She asked standing in his study frustrated. "Only if you never wanna step back in this country till I inherit the throne. To father you would be betraying the country." William looked at his sister with a smile. He would support her decision no matter what she chose. "Then do it. Tell father I will not marry that old man even if he disinherits me." Amelia walked out of the study. William wrote the letter and the news tore through the towns. If the King was angry before he was ready to explode. And Amelia was overjoyed as she laid outside in the grass her brother watching her and the gravel road from the bench. |
They'd started out, even though they made horrible time. Noble was sullen and silent, snapping at everyone who tried to talk with him. Even Merik seemed irritable, sensing his master's anger. |
William heard the sound of hooves, he quickly vaulted over the railing to his sister. "Ame, run and don't turn back." He tossed her burlap sack, her bowl, and arrows.
Amelia caught the things her brother gave her running into the woods and only kept running. She had no idea where she was going only knew she needed to go, not very quiet either as her feet stepped on branches and she was breathing heavily. |
The male didn't even bother climbing down from the driver's seat, nibbling on some cheese. He watched quietly as a few children played loudly nearby. This was bad...they'd had to slow down further, or risk once more breaking their wheels on the horrible terrain. And they shouldn't be resting when they'd barely strted out. What was his Grandmother thinking? |
After running for awhile, she heard the laughs of children making her skid to the ground.
Didn't know who they were and she didn't want to risk it. She laid back where she was trying to catch her breath. |
The call was given to begin once more, though the children continued to play. "Oi, into the wagons. You know better!" Noble called out, sending the children running back to their homes. He sighed, before clicking his tounge, sending Merik plodding forward. |
Noble? Amelia couldn't help but be drawn to his voice. Without thinking she got up and walked towards the sound of his voice. As she got closer she could her the padding of horse trotting on the ground. So she couldn't be hallucinating. Picking up her pace she stood at the edge of the woods.
Eisa easily saw Amelia and instantly started making a fuss, neighing, bucking, and anything else to attempt freedom. Amelia just leaned against a tree, watching them go. Not like she was apart of their group. |
Damn horse! The caravan was brought to another stop, and Noble climbed down, moving to the horse. He stopped quickly, however, as he spotted a familiar form. "Princess?" The gypsy questioned, stepping towards her. "What are you doing? Why are you here?" |
